Will She Find Out
Olivia is sitting in her office after her conversation with Burton at the park thinking about Elliot. She is curious about how his OC is going she wants to call him. But she doesn't have time because a case pulls her out of her thoughts. She must go to Mercy to interview the victim. So, she and Fin head to the hospital.
While at the hospital Liv seems distracted and Fin clocks it. He asks her what's wrong she says, "nothing Fin I'm fine". They head back to the precinct to complete their DD5s on the case. They get the justice for the victim deserves.
Then she goes to her therapist Dr. Lindstrom; while in the therapy session, he asks her about Elliot. She admits to her therapist that she is in love with Elliot. But she does not want to pile this information onto Elliot. So, Dr. Lindstrom suggests that she broaches the subject lightly. She agrees with him and decides that this therapy session has gone better than she expected.
Across town, Elliot is working on his case, and suddenly, he hears gunshots in the warehouse that he is in. He does not realize he has been shot. So, he is bleeding while she is across town therapy session. As soon as Ayanna got to the scene, she said, "What the hell happened." No one knew all they knew was that they heard gunshots, but they did not see the shooter. Then they found Elliot bleeding out from a gunshot to the chest. As soon as she sees this, she radios for a bus. While they secure the scene and try to find the shooter.
While back across town, Olivia has no idea what is going on. She has a funny feeling that something has happened to El. This is because they have a bond no one can explain but them. She has no idea that he has been shot and is fighting for his life. All she knows is that she is ready to tell him how she feels about him.
On her way home, she decides to stop by Elliot's apartment to talk to him. Once she has parked her car, she goes around the back. She opens the gate and enters; as soon as she walks past the window, she notices that it is eerily quiet. Also, the is pitch black not even any soft music was playing that Bernie would listen to. She decides that this is very weird because it is only 8 p.m.
While across town, the bus is just pulling up, and Bell is beside him, telling him that it will be okay. Now that the EMTs have arrived, they load him onto a stretcher and leave. Once they are gone, Bell says to lock down the scene right now. We need to find out who shot one of the best detectives in the NYPD.
Olivia has now left Elliot's house and is on the way home to see her son. Once Olivia gets home, she relieves Lucy. After Lucy leaves, she makes supper for her and Noah. When supper is being prepared, she yells for Noah. While they eat, Noah tells her about his day. After they finish eating, she puts Noah to bed. She is still feeling uneasy about Elliot, so she texts him. She doesn't receive a text back. She is now really starting to worry. She feels like she can't breathe, which scares her. So, she lays down and tries to sleep, but she is having a hard time doing this because of her tether to Elliot.
As soon as the ambulance gets to the hospital and the EMTs unload and get him into the ER he flatlines. This happens right in front of Bernie and the kids. All together they start to cry and say save him, please. The doctors and nurses get his heart started again. They say we must get him to the OR and operate soon or he will die. Bernie pleads by saying save my son. Bernie asks has anyone reached out to Olivia they all collectively say no. She says, "don't you think someone should call her". They are upset and say that no she should not be included in this because they are not even together.
After she has been asleep for a couple of hours her phone rings. She answers the phone "Captain Benson" it is Fin telling her they have a case. She says she will be there in a few minutes. She meets him at Mercy to talk to the victim. After they finish talking to the victim they head back to the precinct. Once they arrive, they write up their DD5s for the case. As they head out, she receives a call.
