Prologue

Aqualad, the protege of Aquaman and the leader of The Team, woke up in a strange world, for what looked like a forest out of nowhere. Then he hears growling. He opens his eyes and saw monsters in black fur and Kabuki-like mask faces. Some he sees that looks like the monsters from mythology.

"What is this?!" Aqualad also noticed a change of his outfit, he now wears a 90s jacket vest and navy blue jeans with his hands no longer having webs. And he has a spear on his back. And even has an orca fin instead of a shark fin.

He saw two people, a girl with silver eyes and scythe. And there is also a blonde boy with a sword and shield like he was a young knight, but has more modern fashion.

"What are those creatures?!" Aqualad asked a girl with the scythe as she lands next to him. Turning her scythe into a sniper gun and shoots at the Grimm. "You never heard of the Grimm?!"

Then the boy in blonde fends off against the Grimm that seems more like an ursa, and spins his sword with a slash. But the ursa, for some reason is glowing in marking similar to Aqualad's markings when using his powers and lunge at Jaune. And blew him with Jaune managed to survive with his shield and was only knocked to a tree.

Aqualad tried to use his powers to aid them. But for some reason, his powers are not working. "My powers. They're not working." Aqualad said to himself. But he remembers the spear on his back, not that he recognized it, but he uses it to his advantage. And pierced it on the head of the ursa. Then lifts its head off, causing the body to turn to dust.

"What the-?! I don't remember Grimm doing that?!" The girl gasped.

Now he knows those creatures are soulless. With no aura.

"Whoa." Said the boy. Amazed of Aqualad's reaction to the scene of the battle. "Jaune, you can be amazed later! We got a battle to finish!" The girl told him. Jaune knew she is right. "Go long!" Ruby commanded while Jaune nodded as she holds out her scythe to the side and Jaune hops on the blade.

Ruby spins him and threw him in the air to take out the remaining Ursa behind Aqualad. Jaune uses his shield to push the Grimm away from him and impaled his sword against the manticore.

Ruby uses her speed to back up Jaune as she twirls her scythe to take out the beowolves. And then avoids the claws of the ursa major. Then slicing its belly as another lunge at her, but Ruby saw blue markings on its back and arms.

But Aqualad noticed this and tackles Ruby out of the way and cuts the ursa's arms with his newfound spear. And then thrust it on its face. "It's strange, that monster has somehow gained a similar power as mine!" Aqualad stated.

"I don't remember Grimm stealing powers!" Ruby said.

"It doesn't?!" Ruby nodded in response.

"Whatever happened, someone must've upgraded the Grimm!" Jaune adds. Slicing the head of a manticore as another was about to attack him. But Jaune uses his shield to block its teeth and Aqualad tried to help, but for some reason his powers weren't working.

"What just..." He paused as his arms began to glow, but then flickered the next and shut down. He tried to focus again, but to no avail. "What's wrong?!" Ruby asked.

"My powers! They're not working!" Aqualad then quickly dodged another Manticore about to kill him and it also glows like his markings. His claws began to electrified. Ruby then uses her speed to push Aqualad out of the way.

"Thank you." Said Aqualad, grateful to the heroine he just met. "Don't mention it." Ruby replied. Aqualad saw that the Grimm would rather used electricity instead of manipulating water. And it was just a mindless creature. Jaune kept shifting back from the manticore as it already absorbed some of Aqualad's powers.

Jaune then takes out a mix of ice and lightning dusts. "Ruby!" Jaune shouted as he threw the dust at her. Ruby catches it and installed them inside her Crescent Rose and shot them both to fire at the Manticore. Aqualad became amazed at such a material he had never seen before.

But knew he cannot just stand and wait for the battle to be over, so Aqualad makes sure to get used to the spear. He mostly used it in water when training, but on land is what he needed to practice on.

Jaune then turned to Aqualad, "Hey, man! Quick, I'll give you a boost!" He shouted, Aqualad agreed and ran towards him, and jumps on his shield and bursts up into the air. Aqualad then spins the spear and dives towards the ursa major and cuts the spikes off its back before going for the head.

Once the battle is over, Ruby and Jaune turned to Aqualad. "Hey, thanks for the help." Ruby said to him.

"Not a problem, but I had never seen such powers before." Aqualad stated.

"Actually, it's semblance. Sure it's like a superpower but most likely to be coming from aura." Ruby explains.

"Sounds interesting. But above all, something about this Earth is different."

"Earth? Is that where you're from?" Jaune said, while sheathing his shield on his waist. "You're in Remnant."

"Remnant. So this is what this world is called." Aqualad stated.

Jaune and Ruby looked at each other, not sure why he seemed confused or why he was speaking like he was not from around here. "It sounded as if you're not from around here. Are you okay?" Ruby asked.

"Thank you for the concern. But I must find my team, figure out what happened or how I ended up here." Aqualad replied calmly.

"You sure you weren't hit in the head?" Asked Jaune. Ruby gave him a light glare. Earning a sheepish look from him.

"I am fine. I don't remember what happened, how how I got here. Last thing I remembered was a burst of light, then I fell here." Aqualad explains, but his head then began to throb. All he can remember was an old man with a cybernetic eyes eyeing on him and his friends before the events happened. He shook his head and then turned back to Jaune and Ruby.

"Those monsters. You mentioned they never absorbed any abilities?" Aqualad said.

"No, they never done that. Heck, the Grimm only attack and destroyed everytime they sensed negative emotion." Ruby said. "Wait, you said what the Grimm did just now was using your powers, right?"

"That is correct. For some reason, my powers had been drained. All because of those creatures." Said Aqualad.

"Anywho, I'm Jaune and that's Ruby." Jaune introduced himself.

"Aqualad."

"Okay, not the name I expected. Any other names?" Jaune said before Ruby shouted, "Jaune!"

"No, it's alright. Perhaps it's safe to reveal my actual name to you both, as a thanks. I am Kaldur'ahm. But you can call me Kaldur." He revealed his real name.

"Know what, cool name." Jaune said.

"I don't know why, but if you said those monsters never absorb any powers, then there must be a motive." Kaldur deduced.

"If you're referring to that weird thing in the sky, then maybe that's the problem. Maybe we need to speak to our headmaster, Professor Ozpin." Ruby suggested.

"Never heard of this individual. But why is that?"

"He's not just our headmaster of Beacon Academy, but he's also a huntsmen. He might figure what was going on just now aside from the Grimm stealing superpowers, or the fact that the worlds are changing. Like that city over there. It's never been in Remnant before." Aqualad took a look at where Jaune was pointing.

"It's Happy Harbor. That's where the HQ has been. Wait a second, Mt. Justice was supposed to be destroyed." Aqualad stated after remembering the events. Then he notices something, his memories, ones that were never there before. For some reason he was seeing them when none of it happened yet.

"This can't be..." He felt a headache again. One he remembers of hugging his two best friends after the case of unrequited love for his friend Tula seems to resolved.

"I wish you both the best."

Then another memory where he "stabbed" his teammate, Artemis. Which is one of those memories that didn't happened.

"Welcome back..."

Aqualad gasped rapidly as he woke up from the memories. Jaune and Ruby grew concerned, thinking he might be sick from being overwhelmed. "Kaldur?" Ruby asked, before he just shook his head and looked back at the two huntsmen.

"I'm fine. I just need some time to remember how I got here. Any chance my team is around this world. We might run into them." Aqualad, still going by the name Kaldur, said after putting his spear back on the strapped on his back.

"Well, if we're going to find answers. We should talk to Professor Ozpin first. And Beacon Academy is where we're heading." Jaune said as the three head their way to the school. A lot has changed after Aqualad had landed in a strange world.

Author's note: Okay, instead of a deaged Justice League, it should be a crossover between YJ and RWBY franchise. The plot is going to be similar to the movie, but I am adding a few changes regarding the plot to the film.

We have a meeting between Ruby, Jaune and Aqualad since the three are leaders. And we have Grimm stealing superpowers. While reality is being rewritten. I don't own RWBY, Young Justice or its characters.
