Seha let out a yawn as he was waking up from his sleep. "Yawn…mmh…it's morning already?" he thought to himself as the sunlight was hitting him in the face. He then got out of his bed, dressed himself, and proceeded to leave his room. He then went downstairs and proceeded to make a simple breakfast. Normally, Seha would make breakfast for himself and his mother.

However, the other breakfast was not for his mother today.

As Seha prepped the breakfast on the table, he noticed that someone else had not arrived yet.

He walked towards the front door of his mother's room and knocked on it a few times, hoping for the person behind the room to be awake. "Um…Mirae, are you awake yet?"

For a few seconds, nothing happened. Then the door slowly opened to reveal Mirae…who was almost wearing nothing. Seha blushed at the sight of the beauty in front of him before quickly turning away; her shirt was unbuttoned; slightly revealing her large breasts, her panties were showing, revealing her legs. Her long hair was in a messy state. "M-Mirae?!"

"Mmnh…good morning…Seha." Mirae said while rubbing her eyes, clearly showing that she was still sleepy. "Is there something wrong?"

"Well…no. I'm just wondering if you are awake yet. A-Anyways, breakfast is ready."

"I see…give me a moment to change. I'll be down there shortly."

"A-Alright. I'll be waiting for you downstairs."

Mirae then closed the door and Seha went back downstairs. "Wow. This must be the weirdest assignment or mission I have ever received…not to mention the fact that I received it from Ms. Kim a few days ago…"

(A few days ago…)

"Eh? Living with a closer from another team?" Seha asked in shock.

"Yes. UNION came up with this idea to improve relationships between closers from other teams. They think that closers in close contact with each other can know each other well. By doing so, teamwork between closers from other teams can go smoother than before. Therefore, you will be partnered up with another closer." Kim replied.

"I see. I suppose that everyone in Black Lambs is a part of this too?"

"Yes."

Seha was silent for a moment before asking another question. "Um…if I may ask, will the others get housing of some sort? I mean, no offense, but I think some of them don't have a house before…"

"Don't worry about that. UNION has that covered."

"I see. So, who is the person that is my partner and living with me?"

As on cue, the door opened, revealing Mirae, a closer from another team called Rattus. "Ms. Kim, I'm here just as you asked me to." she said as she walked into the door. "Ah, hello Seha." she greeted him with a small smile on her face.

"Hi, Mirae." Seha greeted back.

Mirae then turned to Kim. "Ms. Kim, is there something you want me to do? Earlier, Soohyun told me to talk to you for something."

"Yes. Mirae, you will be partnered up with Seha and living with him under a new assignment. This assignment's goal is improving the relationships between closers from different teams."

"Eh? Living with…Seha?" Mirae asked.

"Yes. Is there a problem with that?"

"Well no…it's just that I never experienced something like this. Does that mean I am no longer a member of Rattus?"

"Not quite. You still are a member of Rattus. You will just be living with another closer for a while," Kim reassured.

"I see. In that case…I accept the assignment."

"Great. How about you, Seha?"

"Well…if you say so Ms. Kim…" Seha replied with a bit of nervousness in his voice.

"Great! Now then, you two have fun together!"

Seha and Mirae then left the room together. As they did, Mirae talked to Seha. "Well then…I'm in your care, Seha."

"Y-Yeah."

(Back to the present…)

"So for a while, Mirae is living with me…huh, that is something I did not expect. Jeez, mom would not believe this if she hears about this. If she did…I would probably receive the biggest scolding of my life…" Seha thought to himself with a shudder as he was coming down the stairs. Eventually, he reached the dining room table and waited for Mirae.

Luckily, Mirae did not take that long to change as she came downstairs a few seconds later, wearing a white coat over a black shirt and black shorts with cuffs on the bottom. "Good morning Seha. Did I miss anything?" Mirae asked.

"No. I was just waiting for you," Seha replied.

"I see," Mirae said as she sat down on another chair around the table. As she did, she noticed the food in front of her, which consisted of eggs, toast, sausages, bacon, and other things. "Wow. This looks good." she thought to herself as she saw the food.

Soon, both Seha and Mirae began to eat their breakfast. As they did, Mirae suddenly stopped upon having her first bite. "Mirae, is there something wrong?"

"No Seha. It's just that I never had something like this before."

"Do you not like it?"

"No. I like it. It's delicious." Mirae replied with a soft smile.

"I see. Well, I'm glad that you like it, Mirae."

The couple continued to eat their breakfast until their plates were empty. Afterwards, Seha washed the plates while Mirae cleaned up the table.

"Well then, now that everything is done here, let's go, Mirae."

"Right."

And Seha and Mirae left the house together…

"Hyah!" Seha yelled as he took down a dimensional monster with his gunblade. However, another took its place as there was a horde of them roaming the streets of New Seoul. "Tch! There's no end to them!" he thought to himself as he defended himself against a dimensional monster. He quickly jumped back and shot a barrage of blue fireballs out from his gunblade, quickly decimating them. As he was done with that, he turned to see another horde of dimensional monsters appearing. Seha then charged towards the horde and used his phase force to create a blue blade around his gunblade, slashing down any dimensional monster in front of him.

Seha let out a sigh as he turned around to see the fallen dimensional monsters he had cut down. "Well, that's over. Now then, I wonder how Mirae is doing…maybe I should check up on her."

He then left the area and headed towards where Mirae is. As he arrived, he saw Mirae taking down hordes of dimensional monsters with her scythe. However, the horde was still numerous, and it looked like she was going to be overwhelmed soon. Luckily, he came in at the right time and took down a dimensional monster that was about to attack Mirae from behind. "Mirae!"

"Seha?" Mirae said as she took down another dimensional monster.

"Sorry that I'm late. Are you alright?" Seha asked as he sliced a dimensional monster in half.

"Yes. I'm fine Seha." Mirae replied as she blocked an attack from a dimensional monster. "Still though…there are a lot of dimensional monsters today."

"Yeah. There's probably a chance that a huge one might come soon, so be on guard."

"Yes."

Soon, the two began a dimensional monster extermination as they kept slashing them down one by one. Eventually, the duo were able to defeat all of the dimensional monsters in the area. "Phew. I think that's all of them for now." Seha said.

"Yes." Mirae replied as her communicator started to go off, making her pick it up. "Soohyun?"

"Ah! Mirae! Are the dimensional monsters in the area you and Seha are in gone?" Soohyun asked.

"Yes. Me and Seha were able to defeat all of them."

"Great! Now return to-wait, I'm picking up something!"

Immediately, a portal appeared behind them, and they felt it. Upon seeing the portal, they immediately moved back. What came out of the portal was a dimensional monster known as Troop Captain. Not only that, but a horde of troops came behind it as well.

"Seha! Mirae! There's a troop captain heading towards you! And it brought along some troops as well! Stop them before they head towards the city!"

"Yeah!"

"Yes!"

As the communication was cut, both Seha and Mirae readied their weapons while at the same time, the troop commander told its subordinates to attack the closers. "Ready, Mirae?"

"Yes!"

The two then headed towards the army of troops, taking them down one by one. Seha used his gunblade to either slash them down or shoot blue fireballs at them while Mirae used her scythe to cut them down. Eventually, the two were able to beat the minions and were up against the troop captain themselves.

"Tch! This is a little harder than I thought!" Seha thought to himself as he dodged a hammer swing from the troop captain. He then shot a few fireballs at the dimensional monster, which hit it directly. As a result, the monster was temporarily blinded. "Mirae! Attack it now while it's blinded!"

"Yes!" Mirae then swung her scythe at the monster's back, causing pain to it. As she did that, Seha brought out his gunblade and cut off one of the monster's legs, making it fall down.

"Alright! It's down! Now's our chance!" Seha thought. "Mirae! Let's attack it now!"

Mirae nodded in reply and both closers brought out their weapons one last time and struck down the troop captain together. The monster then disappeared, turning into particles that flew through the air before being dispersed.

Seha let out a sigh. "Well, that's over."

"Yes." Mirae replied before her communicator went off. "Hm? Soohyun?"

"Seha! Mirae! I take it that the troop captain is gone?"

"Yes. Me and Seha defeated it along with the others as well."

"Great! Looks like the mission was successful! Anyways, head back over."

"Yeah. We'll be there shortly." Mirae then put her communicator back into her pocket. "Seha. Let's go back. Soohyun wants us there."

"Alright."

After minutes of walking, Seha and Mirae finally reached where Soohyun was. "Great job you two! With the troop captain gone, there won't be any disturbances for a while," she said with a smile on her face. "I take it none of you have any problems against it?"

"No." Seha and Mirae replied.

"Good. By the way, how is the other assignment going on with you two? I hope nothing bad happened between you two."

"Nothing bad happened Soohyun." Seha said.

"He's right. Seha has been treating me well." Mirae assured.

"I see. Well, I'm glad that things are going well between you two. That's all I've ever wanted to know. Anyways, I think I've taken too much of both of your time here, so you two return to your duties."

"Yes." The duo said before they left. As they did, Soohyun let out a small sigh.

"Seha and Mirae huh…that is an unexpected combination I would have ever expected to happen. Not to mention this assignment for them…"

Meanwhile, Seha and Mirae were walking together, minding their own business as they were having a conversation. "So, how's New Seoul?" Seha asked.

"It's nice. Quite different from Busan." Mirae replied. As they were walking, Mirae noticed a tear on Seha's clothes, and along with it was a cut on his skin. "Seha…are you alright?"

"Hm? I am, but why?"

"Well…you have a tear on your jacket sleeves. And…I see a cut there as well."

Seha then looked at the tear on his jacket, rolled up its sleeves, and saw the cut that was there. "Oh. I didn't notice that. Well…it's not that big of a deal. I'll fix this later when we get home."

To Seha's surprise however, Mirae pulled a band-aid out of nowhere and gently put it on the cut. "Alright. That should do it."

"Mirae?"

Mirae then looked at Seha. "Seha. Please be careful next time. I don't want to lose you."

"Mirae…" Seha said as he looked at Mirae's eyes, which were showing her concern for him. "Alright. I'll be careful next time."

Mirae sighed softly before letting out a small smile. "That's all I need to hear. Now come on, it's starting to get late. We should go home already."

"Yeah."

And the two proceeded to head back to Seha's house for the remainder of the day, spending their time undisturbed…
