I've fallen back down the Lost Girl hole, and I am loving it. What with the new release of the Lost Girl Rewatch Podcast, I have fallen back in love with Doccubus once again, and after rewatching the series more times than I care to admit, I wanted to put my own spin on how things play out. I'm not sure how long this will go on for, I have a tendency to not finish stories so apologies in advance, but I hope you have fun with me along the way.
I have started posting Doccubus episodic videos on Youtube, so check those out:

I have also started a petition in an attempt to get a reboot of this incredible show, so please support and share however you can:

INT - THE DAL - EVENING - KENZIE AND BO DRINKING AT THE BAR
"Ughhh. Omg. That is good. That is good. Makes my throat tingle," Bo laughed as she slammed the empty shot glass down on the bar.
"I don't think I have a throat left! That is some good shit Mr T," Kenzie yelled across the bar at Trick.
Bo pulled her best friend in for a hug. "You are the Kenziest Kenzie ever!" she said kissing her on the cheek.
"And Dyson is a scratchy face.."
"Yes," Kenzie agreed.
"Grouchy," Bo continued
"Yes," Kenzie agreed.
"Cooch-tease," Bo continued laughing, "and I should have bit it off when I had the chance."
"Ohh, unneeded visual baby, but yes! Let it all out. Let it out. What else?"
"What else? Umm." Bo swung around on her barstool, she quickly locked eyes with her blonde as she entered the bar. "Lauren."
"Oh my god, don't even get me started on that girl. I mean how can you be so cold and frigid, she's like a frickin' speculum.."
"She's here," Bo interrupted as Lauren stopped to stand next to her at the bar.
"Hi Kenzie," Lauren smirked, seemingly unphased by her comments.
"Hey," Kenzie replied.
Lauren started to play with one of the many empty shot glasses on the bar.
"You know as your Doctor, I should recommend against excessive intoxication," Lauren stated as Bo turned to face her.
"Who's drunk?" Bo replied with a smile, holding the doctor's eye contact.
"Well we don't know the effects of cocktails on your.. abilities," Lauren said. She couldn't help but smile into Bo's twinkly eyes.
"Well I can promise you, booze does not affect my ability to perform," Bo flirted, her eyes dancing as she stroked the hair away from Lauren's face.
Lauren laughed gently at Bo's charm.
"Well I wouldn't want to be on the end of a drunken succubus booty call so.. take it easy," her tone walked the line of flirty and bossy.
"No promises," Bo replied as she spun around on her stool.
"Keep an eye on her," Lauren said to Kenzie before she left with a smile.
Bo took another shot.
Kenzie played with her shot glass. "Y'know I don't know if it's the buckthorn hallucinations but that was some serious sparkage, I think she likes you."
Bo laughed, a gentle sadness in her eyes. "It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter, because Lauren is human. I sleep with her and she dies."
Kenzie raised her eyebrow at her best friend. "Bo she's a doctor, don't you think she would be the best person to test out your.. human chi-stealing with for the first time."
She took a shot as a mic drop.
Bo contemplated the thought for less than a second. "I'm going after her," she said before she downed her own shot and turned to run after the doctor.
She opened the front door of The Dal and saw Lauren walking 10 steps ahead outside.
"Lauren!" Bo called out, her legs running to catch up as Lauren stopped to turn around.
"Bo," Lauren couldn't stop the smile that formed when she saw the brunette speeding towards her.
Once she had caught up with the blonde, Bo was overcome with nerves. They had rarely been alone together, and when they were it had been in the lab being doctor, patient.
"I thought," Bo started to say, immediately distracted by Lauren's eyes.
Her lips.
Her neck.
The hint of cleavage.
"Bo," Lauren interrupted Bo's thoughts.
Bo tore her eyes away, a nervous laugh left her lips when she noticed by Lauren's smile she had been caught.
"I thought maybe you could help me feed? Feed on humans? Feed on humans and not kill them?"
Lauren laughed again at Bo's unusual nervousness. "I thought I was already doing that, with the shots."
Bo nodded, for longer than was acceptable, her nerves and 5 buckthorn shots had got the better of her.
"Bo are you okay?" Lauren reached out to place a hand on Bo's shoulder. "I thought you said you weren't drunk," she teased, squeezing her arm.
Bo laughed shyly. She looked into Lauren's eyes and once again found herself distracted. Lauren licked her lips as she felt Bo's gaze wander again, the desire started to bubble inside the succubus's chest.
"Sorry Lauren, I um," Bo shook herself in an attempt to get herself together, "what I meant was maybe you can take me out for a test drive to see if the shots are working."
"Oh. I see," Lauren replied thoughtfully. "You mean, you want me to be there when you feed on a human for the first time? As a sort of initiation? For research purposes?"
Bo took a breath. That definitely was not what she had meant.
"Oh well.." Bo started but stopped herself. As much as she wanted to, Lauren was too important to be used as a test run, and maybe having her around wouldn't be a bad thing. She would prefer for her first time to be with a human she didn't have feelings for, just in case.
"Yes. Exactly." Bo smiled.
Lauren practically beamed back at her. "That is a great idea Bo, I am disappointed I didn't think of it myself, to have the insight into a succubus's first human feed after the treatments would be excellent research."
Bo couldn't help but laugh at Lauren's excitement, she did love when the doctor would nerd out.
"Okay so shall we say tomorrow then? There's a human bar down the street, The Crescent, 7pm?"
Lauren nodded. They both smiled, Bo lifted her hand to wave gently before she turned back towards The Dal.
"Oh and Bo," Lauren called out, "no booty calls."
Bo laughed out loud, not turning around. "Still no promises!" She yelled before re-entering the bar.
INT - LAUREN'S APARTMENT - PAST MIDNIGHT
It had been a few hours since she got home. Her interaction with Bo outside The Dal had been confusing, and in an attempt to distract herself from her thoughts, she had decided to focus on reading her favourite book after she'd had a nice hot shower and changed into her pyjamas.
Lauren lifted her legs up onto the sofa, her book in one hand and a glass of Chardonnay in the other. She enjoyed her alone time, her work days were long and intense, and she found her relaxation time the key to keeping on top of her work.
As she read, her fingers started to toy with the pages, running her finger up and down the edge of the page as her mind once again drifted back to brown eyes and leather trousers. Lauren was a professional. She had never had any kind of relationship with a patient outside of work. She didn't believe in mixing work and pleasure, and yet, the succubus had got under her skin.
A succubus, Lauren thought to herself, what a surprise she had made such an impression. She couldn't help but laugh at her thought.
But her feelings for Bo didn't feel controlled, they felt natural, real.
When Bo had asked for assistance with her first time with a human, she had hoped that Bo was asking if she would be her first, even though she knew it was dangerous, her heart had sunk when she realised Bo was just asking her to be there for support, for science.
Lauren knew that it was Bo's nature to be a flirt, to ooze sexuality and confidence, but she couldn't shake the feeling that Bo also thought more of her. The way Bo's eyes travelled down Lauren's body, the way her eyes would sparkle and her breathing would quicken. Surely it wasn't all in Lauren's head.
As if on cue, Lauren's phone rang.
"Bo," she answered once she had placed her book down on her lap.
"I just got home," Bo's voice was raspy. "I just got into bed, and I was thinking about you."
Lauren's mouth went dry.
She never anticipated Bo would follow through on the booty call.
"This couple was flirting with me at the bar. They wanted me to go home with them, but I told them I wasn't interested."
Lauren reached for her wine and took a big sip.
"Oh? And why's that Bo?"
Bo laughed gently.
She hadn't planned on calling the doctor once she got home, her fingers had somehow dialled the number all by themselves, but the sound of Lauren's voice stole away any regret she might have been feeling.
"Because."
"Because what Bo?" Lauren needed to hear her say it.
"Lauren," Bo replied.
"Bo." Lauren was nervous, she daren't lead the conversation.
There was a moment of silence.
Lauren took another sip of her wine, unsure of how this conversation was about to play out.
"Lauren, I'm hungry."
Lauren swallowed. Her eyes closed. Thoughts of Bo filled her mind.
"I'm so hungry Lauren, and there's only one thing that can satiate me."
Lauren's tongue licked her lips, and her heartbeat quickened. The thought of Bo all-consuming.
"Bo, you're very drunk."
Bo smiled against the phone. The doctor was predictable.
"This is true. Well, you're the doctor, maybe you can help me figure it out," Bo teased. "The hunger, it started the day I met you. That day in the lab, when you were performing all your fancy tests on me when I wasn't wearing any clothes, and your fingers were tracing the lines of my back. When you told me how beautiful I was. Do you think that means anything? Why do you think that would've made me hungry?"
Lauren chuckled, she couldn't help but enjoy the playfulness of Bo, and the memory was a wonderful one to be reminded of.
"What do you think Doc? Any thoughts?"
"It was my professional opinion," Lauren said with a laugh.
"Righttt. Of course. Well, you are welcome to give me your professional opinion anytime."
A moment of silence. The sound of Bo's breathing made Lauren's chest pound.
"Lauren. I want you."
Lauren couldn't hold back the gentle moan that escaped her lips.
"I want to have the memory of your taste," Bo practically moaned in response.
Bo was not making things easy.
Lauren attempted to pull herself back together.
"Bo. I don't think this is a good idea. You're drunk, and you just told me you turned down an opportunity to feed. You're not thinking clearly."
"I see the way you look at me, Lauren. I know you feel it too. I know that this isn't just all in my head."
Of course, Lauren felt the same way, from the first moment they met, how could she not? But the Dr Lauren side of her struggled to shut off, and she knew that Bo was stepping into dangerous territory.
"You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. When you look at me, Lauren I feel you everywhere," Bo purred.
The effect Bo had never failed to surprise Lauren. She felt the heat between her legs, the thought of touching her, kissing her.
"It's not all in your head," Lauren finally replied.
Bo's breath quickened.
"Lauren. Can I come over?"
"Bo."
"Lauren. I'm so hungry for you."
Lauren took a breath and used all of her willpower.
"Bo I think you just need some rest. Why don't you let yourself sleep and then we can talk about your hunger tomorrow okay?"
Silence.
Lauren internally kicked herself. It took everything not to say yes to Bo coming over.
Still no reply.
Lauren started to panic. She didn't want Bo to feel rejected.
"Okay Lauren," Bo finally replied.
Lauren heard her disappointment, she felt it too.
"You rest that pretty head of yours okay," Lauren spoke softly, almost apologetically.
"Okay. Yours too. G'night." Bo hung up.
Lauren downed the rest of her wine and made her way up to bed, the ache between her legs desperately needing attention.
EXT - THE CLUBHOUSE - KITCHEN
"Please tell me you're feeling as shitty as I do," Bo mumbled as she walked into the kitchen, "it sounds like there's a car alarm going off in my head."
Kenzi nodded, her body was hunched over the counter, her hands nursing a cup of coffee and her eyes barely open. She pointed to the fresh pot of coffee as Bo came into her view.
"Lifesaver," Bo said, kissing her on the forehead before she poured herself the largest cup.
"Bo Bo, if I had your super succubus powers, I would bring someone home with me every night to avoid the pain of a hangover. Speaking of, why didn't you go home with that spicy couple last night? You would not have been hearing no car alarms baby girl."
Kenzi reached for the Honey Nut Crunch and poured herself a big bowl. Bo passed her the milk from the fridge.
"Mmm, that's definitely not my main regret of last night that's for sure," Bo grumbled under her breath before taking a big sip of her coffee and taking a seat.
"Spill." Kenzie's eyes had lit up at her best friend's regretful tone.
Bo put her head in her hands. She woke up hoping it had been a dream, but a quick check of her call history told her it was definitely a nightmare.
The sound of Kenzi's crunching made Bo look up, her eyes narrowed, her fingers massaging her temples.
"Must you?"
"Hey don't take your hangover regrets out on me Bobaliciois, I'm minding my own bees wax eating my cereal!"
Bo shook her head and started to massage her temples.
"I drunk called Lauren last night."
"You did?" Kenzi replied with a mouth full of Honey Nut. "Oh my god what happened? Did you get your phone sex on?"
"Ughhhhh."
Kenzi snickered, to which she received a scowl.
"I told her I wanted her and she told me to go to sleep."
Kenzi coughed into her bowl. "Oh, Bo Bo."
"The worst part is, she told me that it's not all in my head, which means I've probably messed up my chances and pushed her away because of my lack of self-control."
"That's great!" Kenzie replied, playfully punching Bo's shoulder. "The Doc told you she likes you Bo!"
"And now I've probably scared her away! What was I thinking Kenzie, that was so reckless of me. I really like her, so much that I decided I didn't want Lauren to be the first human I slept with. I don't want to hurt her."
Kenzie rounded the counter to put her around Bo's shoulders. "Come on Bo, it always feels worse than it is, the Doc is a professional she probably just wanted to be respectful because of your drunk-ass state. A booty call from her beautiful succubus, I'm sure it made her night!"
Bo chuckled in response. Her best friend did always know how to cheer her up.
"Thanks, Kenz. But I do need to play it carefully with her now, best behaviour. Once I've got myself under control, then I can think about putting the moves on her again."
"That's my girl," Kenzi side-hugged her before returning back to her cereal.
Bo finished off her coffee and was about to pour herself another cup when her phone lit up.
She groaned, showing Kenzi the screen.
Lauren.
Kenzi chuckled, "Can't have been as bad as you think if she's not avoiding you, pick it up."
Bo let it ring a few more times before answering.
"Hey, Lauren."
"Hi Bo, sorry to call you so early. A light fae has been murdered and Dyson picked up your scent on the victim. I didn't want you to be ambushed so I thought it best to call."
"Thanks, Lauren. Who's the victim?" Bo asked, suspicious.
Kenzie's ears perked up when she overheard.
"His name is Samir-"
Bo interrupted. "I was worried you were going to say that. And his wife, Olivia?"
Lauren was silent for a moment.
"She's not been seen or heard from since last night. How do you know them?"
"The couple I told you about last night."
Kenzie chuckled from across the room, her eyebrow raised when she received a scowl from Bo.
"Ah. Well then Dyson is going to want to speak to you, maybe give him a call and get ahead of it."
"I will do, thanks Lauren."
"Bo, about last night."
Bo sighed, she had been hoping to avoid this conversation.
"I'm sorry Lauren, that was such an overstep, I wasn't thinking clearly I was just so-"
"Hungry," Lauren interrupted, her voice low.
"Yes." It was all Bo could manage.
There was a moment of silence before Lauren spoke.
"Bo the politics of the fae world are complicated and I think it's best if we keep our relationship professional."
Bo's heart sunk, but at the same time, it had been what she had expected to hear.
"Of course Lauren, professional it is," the sadness evident in her voice.
"We're still meeting at the bar tonight?"
"Oh. Yes, yes of course. If you are still comfortable."
"Bo you know I'm always here to support you with your abilities. I will see you at 7, okay? Don't forget to call Dyson."
Lauren hung up.
Bo was even more out of sorts than when she woke up after that phone call.
"Doctor Hotpants called to ask you about your three-way?" Kenzie interrupted her thoughts, passing Bo a fresh cup of coffee.
Bo accepted the cup gratefully.
"The guy, Samir, he's been found dead. Murdered. Dyson picked up my scent on the body so she was warning me."
"Damn! Well, thank god you didn't go home with them then, that could've been you turned into a corpse-sicle."
Bo nodded in agreement, her mind still on Lauren. "I've got to call Dyson."
"Wait, did the Doc mention last night?" Kenzie asked.
"Yes. We're keeping things professional," Bo replied before she dialled Dyson's number.
Kenzie sighed.
