Warning: Naruto doesn't have chakra in this fanfiction. If anyone doesn't like it, then I'm sorry. But as the name already says: Fanfiction's are fictional work, and it can be that the characters aren't like the original.

The sun shone down on the great forest of Tob. The Great Forest of Tob was a dense, massive forest that was on the southern border of the Re-Estize kingdom. The forest was divided into 4 areas. Each realm harbored its own dangers and wonders. In that massive forest somewhere at the moment lay a human with spiky golden-blond hair. You couldn't momentarily see what eye color this person had. The person was currently wearing the usual clothing of a commoner. A long-sleeved white shirt with a brown leather vest over it , long brown pants with a brown belt, and brown boots. However, there were 4 rings on his hands, which looked very noble. These 4 rings didn't match his usual outfit, which looked pretty common for the area. Also hidden under his shirt was a necklace with a green crystal pendant. A katana in a brown sheath also laid on the ground next to the human.

The person's eyes twitched as the sunlight slowly dragged his mind out of the realm of dreams. First it was the finger, then the whole hand, and then the arm. His head moved slightly before raising his arm and bringing his hand to his face. He rubbed his eyes and then his eyes opened. Eyes as blue as the ocean itself gazed at the sky in confusion. He could smell the familiar scent of a forest straight away. The smell of the leaves, the different plants and other smells.

,Where am I?' He straightened into a sitting position and raised both arms. He looked at his two hands and could see 2 rings on each hand. He looked down at himself and checked his clothes. 'Am I poor or rich? The rings appear to be very valuable, but my other clothes look very common.' thought the person.

He looked around and could only see dense forest. He really didn't know where he was here. He tried to remember how he ended up here. He didn't remember anything at all. He didn't even know who he was exactly right now. He was trying to remember something, and it took him a few seconds to think of something.

'Oh right... my name is Naruto Uzumaki.' thought Naruto. He looked to his side and could see the katana in the brown sheath. The katana looked very normal. It had a red handle and an oval guard plate. He took the katana in his hand and stood up. He looked at his belt and could see straight away that on his left side was an extension of the belt where the katana's sheath would fit perfectly. Naruto tried and as expected the katana fit perfectly into the belt extension. Now with the katana securely on his left side, he looked around. He knew his name, but otherwise he couldn't remember anything.

He seemed to be a swordsman... after all, he had a katana lying next to him. That would mean he was a swordsman. He heard something behind him and turned, his hand on the hilt of his katana. A small green creature ran out of a bush with a small sword in its hand.

'A goblin?' thought Naruto. He narrowed his eyes and only slightly unsheathed the sword, standing ready. The goblin wore a small helmet and leather armor. Several goblins followed behind this goblin. Naruto counted a total of 4 goblins, which were currently attacking Naruto with short swords.

The branches on the floor of the forest were crushed by the 4 goblins and the well-known cracking sound of wood came to Naruto's ears over and over again. He didn't know exactly what he was doing. His blade began to glow red as he concentrated.

He lunged forward and unsheathed his katana. He made a single sword slash and 4 red lines appeared in the air as he landed behind the 4 goblins after the slash. He was standing there hunched over, holding his katana by his side. He stood up straight and sheathed his katana. He heard some noises behind him and so he looked over his shoulder.

He could see each goblin split in two and blood now pouring from the goblins' corpses. 'Did I really just do that?' thought Naruto. He seemed to have just hit 4 enemies at once with a single swipe. How was that possible? He had just acted intuitively and nothing more.

He shook his head and heard something in the distance. He briefly closed his eyes and, as before, did something intuitive. His entire body was briefly surrounded by a red light before disappearing and all his senses heightened. He could hear better, smell better and also see better. He was aware of everything around him and because of that he could now hear the noises better. He could smell blood that didn't come from the 4 goblins. This blood was from far away and it appeared to be from a creature other than a goblin.

Naruto charged and ran through the forest. He jumped over a fallen tree and heard some animals moving away from where Naruto was going. He narrowed his eyes and landed safely in a crouch and then kept running. Whatever was going on there, danger lurked there. Animals always ran away from potential danger, and animals had a very keen sense of danger.

Even Naruto felt something weird with his heightened senses momentarily. He ran around a tree and jumped over a bush and then ran over a bit of forest floor until he jumped over a fallen tree again. He ran non-stop and dodged every obstacle with no problem. After 5 minutes of constant running, he could see light in the distance. In this dense forest, only sparse sunlight reached the ground. He ran in the shade of the trees all the time and was hard to see. Although he was wearing a white shirt, you could hardly see him at the moment.

He was beginning to hear something with his improved hearing. He could hear people screaming and the smell of blood was growing stronger. Naruto slowed down a bit as he neared the edge of the forest. When he reached the edge of the forest, he stood behind a tree and cautiously looked around.

He could see a small village with several houses. In the middle of the village there was even a small tower with a bell. Most of the houses had gray stone walls with brown roofs. He wasn't sure why, but he thought he'd seen this design before. That look seemed so familiar to him. 'Am I from a village like that?' thought Naruto.

He could see several people dressed like himself. A shirt with a vest over it, long trousers and boots. These humans were currently either being pursued, stabbed, surrounded or the like by other armored humans with swords and shields.

He actually wanted to storm straight away, but something prevented him from doing so. He didn't know exactly what it was, but something told him to keep an eye on the situation. It was as if he should first analyze the whole situation and then act.

So, he stayed where he was and looked around and roughly counted the number of knights currently attacking the village. He could count around 30 men with swords and shields and also 5 knights with bows and arrows. However, the knights with bows and arrows were only on standby and did nothing. They were on horses and were just watching the massacre.

He started running when he could see the knights herding all the villagers to the center of the village. He ran to the back of one of the houses and quietly unsheathed his katana. Holding it to his side, he carefully moved to the corner of the house to look around. Villagers' bodies lay everywhere.

He frowned when he saw all the bodies. He really didn't know why knights would attack a defenseless village. 2 girls fled from 2 soldiers, running straight in Naruto's direction. Naruto narrowed his eyes and hid behind the house. He heard the two girl's approach. With his heightened senses, he could hear exactly when the girls would run past him.

'3...2...1...now!' Naruto took a step to the side the moment the two girls ran past him. The two knights were unprepared for Naruto's sudden appearance. First, they ran after the two girls and suddenly a man with golden blond spiky hair came behind the house and stood in the way.

Naruto's katana glowed red and right after that he swung it. Both knights recognized this glow immediately. "Hey, wait-!" They wanted to stop him, but it was already done. Naruto's katana slipped through both knights' bodies like butter, separating the top half of the body from the bottom. Much blood spurted as the bodies sank to the ground.

The two girls stopped when they heard the noise. They turned and saw an unfamiliar man with a katana at his side. In front of the man laid the two knights who had just been chasing the two girls. The man with the katana wore normal clothes, however the older of the two girls could see 2 very beautiful rings on his right hand.

His golden blond hair was still moving from where the man had just moved to swing his sword. The man stood up straight and looked at the two bodies in front of him. He just watched the blood stain the brown floor.

The man turned and looked at the two girls. His ocean blue eyes looked at the two girls. His lips moved and his voice came out. "Everything ok?" he asked.

The older girl nodded. "Yes, thank you!"

He nodded. "Good, hide in the forest. I'll take care of those bastards." Naruto said. He didn't wait for an answer and stormed off. His eyes were focused and showed an experience that a warrior only gets through many battles. Such eyes had already seen many things. His eyes were freezing right now and seemed more ice blue than ocean blue. He could see some knights chasing 3 villagers. The village wasn't big, but so far none of the knights had pursued him because he moved in the shadows of the houses and moved unnoticed. He didn't even know how he could move so precisely. It was as if his body would act on its own in some situations. For example, at first, he wanted to run in a straight line towards the knights, but suddenly he ran to the right and stayed out of each knight's field of vision.

Naruto didn't think much about it and just followed his instincts, which have been guiding his actions so far. He didn't have a specific plan, he just did it. While in action, his body seemed to know on its own what the best action would be. He still had no idea how to use these sword techniques. First with the 4 goblins and then with the two knights. He had noticed... the blade of his katana glowed red when attacking in both scenarios.

The 3 knights had almost reached the villagers before one of the three knights suddenly fell dead. The two knights stopped dead and looked in disbelief at their comrade, who just fell dead with his throat slashed. Naruto ran around the two knights and was behind them. He lunged at both of them and made a wide swing. He could feel again how his body did something by itself. As before, his blade glowed red, and his katana glided through armor and bodies like butter. Naruto kept sprinting, looking at the villagers who were running towards the forest.

,Good.' thought Naruto. He looked at the next group of knights and moved towards them. That was the last group of knights that wasn't in the center of the village. In the center of the village, many villagers were surrounded. The knights didn't harm the encircled villagers, but it certainly wouldn't be like this forever. Naruto didn't feel anything when activating those special skills, he was using. He didn't even know what it was. But he seemed to be able to strengthen his sword blows somehow.

As he approached the last group of knights, he stopped. A knight suddenly flew through the air which was in the center of the village and landed on the ground. Naruto looked at the center and his eyes widened slightly. The sight was a bit intimidating. There in front of all the knights was a huge skeleton with black armor, a black cap, a black shield and a black sword. The skeleton was massive, larger than any human in the village.

The knights chasing the villagers stopped and looked at the skeleton in disbelief. Naruto hid in the shadows of a house and watched the spectacle. 'What kind of creature is that?' thought Naruto. The skeleton was very strong. He had just split a knight in two with just one swing of his sword. After that, a knight tried to hit the skeleton from behind, but instead of dealing damage, his sword shattered and after that he was simply thrown off the massive shield.

'The skeleton only uses its sword when someone is escaping or giving orders... very strange.' thought Naruto. One of the knights tried to calm his comrades and gave some instructions. This immediately caught the skeleton's attention. The skeleton slaughtered through 7 knights before arriving at the knight who gave the orders and was able to calm his comrades. The knight charged at the skeleton, but like the other knights, this knight didn't stand a chance either. The skeleton just raised its massive sword and severed the head from the knight's body.

'I don't feel sorry for the knights, but this sight is still not nice to look at.' thought Naruto. If the skeleton hadn't turned up, he would have killed every single knight. After all, all the knights had killed many villagers and so they deserved death.

The skeleton only seemed to attack the knights. It had passed the anxious villagers more than once without paying any attention to them. Naruto was glad because the villagers hadn't harmed anyone. They were clearly the victims of this massacre. The other knights just stared at the headless body in disbelief as it fell to the ground, its head rolling across the floor.

Naruto looked at one of the corpses and his eyes widened. ,What?' thought Naruto. One of the Dead Knights seemed to have turned into some kind of zombie. The knight moved minimally because the lower half of the body was missing. In any case, the corpse had come back to life.

'Is this skeleton turning killed enemies into zombies?' thought Naruto. That would be a big problem. He looked at the other corpses and, as he had feared, the corpses slowly seemed to be changing. The revealed skin turned dark and rotted.

It didn't take long for the skeleton to kill the rest of the knights and now only the villagers were left. Meanwhile, some zombies were standing around the skeleton. The skeleton didn't seem interested in the villagers, but the zombies slowly made their way towards the villagers. Naruto charged and swung his sword and decapitated a zombie.

Naruto turned to the villagers. "Runs! I'll stop the zombies and buy you some time!" Naruto said. The zombies all looked at Naruto and attacked him. The villagers were unsure what to do. They were all still in some degree of shock and didn't quite realize what was going on.

After a few seconds, one villager realized what was going on and looked at Naruto fighting the zombies. He swung his katana and beheaded one zombie after another. "LET'S GO! WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!" the man with brown hair and black eyes yelled. His loud voice seemed to trip all the villagers out of their state of shock. Everyone got up and ran straight towards the forest. Naruto saw everything and smiled slightly. He narrowed his eyes and focused on the task at hand. The skeleton also seemed to be slowly paying attention to him. Naruto decapitated another zombie and then jumped back as the skeleton charged at him, swinging its massive sword. Naruto jumped back in time and when he landed, he skidded a bit on the ground.

Naruto held his katana in front of him and looked directly at the massive skeleton. The skeleton growled menacingly, sword and shield ready. 'It seems to realize that I am different from the knights.' thought Naruto.

He and the skeleton simultaneously took a few steps to the side and were now circling each other. They both walked in a circle, always facing the other. Naruto tightened his grip on his weapon and held it aside. The skeleton also got ready. Both opponents pushed forward and swung their weapons. Naruto's katana crashed into the skeleton's massive sword.

Yellow sparks appeared on impact. Naruto felt the skeleton's power, but he was strong enough to stop the skeleton. Naruto swung his katana again, and this time the skeleton blocked his blow with his massive black shield. Naruto ducked as the skeleton swung its massive sword to decapitate Naruto.

Naruto rolled sideways and dodged a vertical downward slash. The skeleton's sword hit the ground, creating a small hole in the ground. Naruto got up from the rolling motion and charged at the skeleton. The skeleton pulled its sword out of the ground and deflected Naruto's sword blow. Naruto's katana bounced off the massive shield. Naruto jumped back and distanced himself a bit. He would have expected that he would automatically reinforce one of his sword blows again. But so far, his sword hadn't shone like it had before. He narrowed his eyes and heard a few footsteps. His eyes widened when he saw some villagers on the outskirts of the village.

'What are they doing here? They should go away.' thought Naruto. He was still in the center of the village and the skeleton only seemed fixated on Naruto. Still, the villagers shouldn't come any closer.

'Tze.' Naruto frowned. 'How did I use these special abilities? What are these skills even called?' thought Naruto. His heightened senses were still active and that's why he heard some of the villagers shouting something.

"Be careful!"

"You can do it!"

"You have to survive!"

"Use your martial arts!"

When Naruto heard that word, his eyes widened. He remembered something again. He saw a scene from his youth where he held a katana and swung it over and over. At the edge of his vision, he could see a man with long white hair also wielding a katana at his side.

"Naruto, always remember martial arts are very exhausting and require your complete focus. If you are not fully focused, the martial art will fail, and you may die."

"Yes, Master Jiraiya!" Naruto called his master.

"Good, now use the martial art you already know." Jiraiya said while crossing his arms over his chest. He gave Naruto a serious look. Naruto stopped swinging his katana and went into a special stance. He closed his eyes and concentrated.

The blade of his katana began to glow red before he opened his eyes and swung his sword. "Martial Art: Slashing Strike!" A red line could be seen briefly in the air where the katana had wandered.

Jiraiya nodded with a smile. "Very good Naruto. Your talent is really remarkable. The fact that you mastered your first martial art at the age of 8 says a lot about your future. You could become as strong as the heroes."

Naruto bowed. "Thank you for those words, Master Jiraiya. But I will never be as strong as you. After all, you are the strongest swordsman in the whole kingdom."

Jiraiya said nothing. 'Oh Naruto… you have no idea what a great talent you have. Even the most gifted warriors don't learn their first martial arts until they are 16 years old. That you mastered martial arts at the age of 8 is a miracle. I wouldn't be surprised if you break through the human barrier and become as strong as the heroes one day. With your talent and your will to never give up, you will go far.'

"Now enough of the words. You still have a lot ahead of you today." Jiraiya said in a serious voice. He would ensure that Naruto would become strong enough to defend himself. He had promised both his parents. After all, Minato and Kushina were already dead and only because of a Death Knight. Few people grew strong enough to take on a Death Knight. Jiraiya himself was one of the few humans strong enough to take on a Death Knight himself. He would ensure that Naruto would become stronger than himself. After all, he was the last descendant of the hero Mito Uzumaki. The Uzumaki were known for the production of a rare talent every second or third generation. Mito Uzumaki, for example, was the most powerful magician who ever lived. She could use level 6 magic even though she was human. However, no one knew her by the name of Mito Uzumaki because she was known as Rigrit. She was part of the 13 Legendary Heroes. She was no longer alive, but she became a legend as the strongest magician of all time. No other human had managed to use level 6 magic to this day.

"Yes, Master!" Naruto said and started swinging his katana again. He had promised himself that he would become strong enough to protect those around him. He would become strong enough to defeat any enemy. He swore it to himself. He never wanted to see someone die before his eyes ever again. Especially not when these people were close to his heart. He had watched the Death Knight kill both of his parents. He would never forget this sight. He was only 3 years old at that time.

Naruto remembered! He narrowed his eyes. 'Martial Art: Fatal Edge!' thought Naruto. He lunged forward, the blade of his sword glowing red in color. The Skeleton Knight stood by and raised his shield. Naruto swung his katana and this time his blade was unstoppable. His katana sliced through the shield, splitting it in two before directing the Skeleton Knight. The blade of the katana separated the top half from the bottom half, defeating his opponent.

Naruto looked at the Death Knight's dismembered body. He genuinely wondered why the Death Knight hadn't attacked the villagers. He looked at his katana and sheathed it. He was deep in thought and therefore didn't notice the villagers approaching him. The martial arts that he used to sharpen his senses were no longer active. At the age of 8 he had learned his first martial art and through his talent he had long since left the limits of a normal person behind. He was much stronger than normal people. At 24, he was arguably the strongest warrior in the entire Re-Estize kingdom. Of course, nobody knew that because nobody knew him. He was secretly trained by his master and due to a certain incident, Naruto was teleported to the forest, and he partially lost his memories.

This was the beginning of the story of Naruto Uzumaki: a human who would surpass even the heroes in the future. A person who would not only overcome the limits of humans. A human who would play a major role in the history of the world.

This was the beginning of Naruto Uzumaki's story. He would change a lot in the near future through his presence. Be it the future of mankind or the future of a certain tomb that recently came into this world.
