Be Advised: This is gonna be one of the shortest chapters I've ever written in this remake. Because this particular mission is just 85 percent filler with nothing to change and 15 percent actual story at the middle and end with little to improve.
June 16th, 2044 - 07:02:06, USS Liberator, Pacific Ocean, in the Team Room, Elias shares the data recovered from Ramos' laptop with Logan and Hesh. The device had to be given and analyzed by NORAD because Keegan accidentally broke it when he landed on Rally Point Bravo back in Caracas.
Elias: Ramos' laptop was badly damaged, but NORAD made a big find.
Hesh: Rorke?
Elias: He moves every twelve hours, but for the next twelve, we know exactly where he'll be. A floating oil industrial complex out in the Gulf of Mexico, occupied by the Federation. They call it, "The Freeport". NORAD made the find, and they want him alive.
Logan: I got a bad feeling about this already.
Elias: You're getting Apaches and Black Hawks from the 2nd Aviation Regiment to hunt with, and I'll be in a Spectre coordinating the multiple units and your flight out of the country.
Hesh: Gonna be one hell of a hunt.
Elias: Big game, but you know what to do.
Since talking to his dad is a lot easier because of family, Logan let's him know what he thinks.
Logan: Sure, deploy me for an op that can change the course of the War On The Latin American Federation with just my TF Stalker issued P226 because neither of you can be bothered to get my guns back.
Elias: Logan, come on. I listened to you, now I'm working on it for you. Okay?
Logan: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, while you're at it, answer this: With the hand I've been dealt with ever since I got here, *lifts hands up* what could go wrong?
19:42:19, 3rd Bn., 2nd Aviation Regiment AH-64D Apache Longbow Pirate Squadron 5 and Outlaw Squadron 1 take point and engage multiple hard targets all over The Freeport for the initial 'shock and awe' air campaign of this mission, also known as Operation Deadbolt. Those include patrol boats, anti-air gun batteries, M880 Armored Missile Launchers, Mi-24 Superhind Mk.IIIs and GAZ-2975 Tigrses.
Five minutes of searching, destroying and air-to-air fighting later, the two Apache Longbow squadrons clear out most of the oil field. With the target area, The Freeport's Command Platform, completely defenseless from air threats, a UH-60L Black Hawk chopper from Outlaw Squadron 2 lands so that Silence Team can get to work in finding Rorke, now under the callsign: Urchin.
On the ground, Logan kicks it off by killing a lone Fed with an RPG-7V2 and acquiring his SC-2010 ACOG Scope and spare mags.
bang bang*
Logan: Poor, lonely bastard.
Pirate 5-0: Silence Team in on the ground and moving. I say again, Silence Team is on the ground and movin'.
Outlaw 2-1: Outlaw 2-1 going into holding pattern.
Pirate 5-0: Roger that. Continue scanning for targets.
Merrick: Move out, Ghosts! Keep up, Kid!

SFC. Logan 'Nightfall' Walker
Task Force Stalker, 3rd Bn., 2nd Aviation Regiment
"The Freeport", Gulf of Mexico
--
In an active, loud gunfight, Logan sees what Torch and Grim can really do. The green goggled Ghost prefers to stay with the team and lay down suppressive fire so that the others are well-protected and his red goggled partner can move up, flank the enemy's positions and/or flush them out with his grenade launcher.
Although the teamwork, speed and efficiency looks like an art form, Logan has already seen those during his time back home, i.e. the Ranger Regiment. So just like them, he is barely impressed.
Regardless, thanks to some CAS from Outlaw 1-1, the Ghosts manage to reach the top of the Command Platform and breach its main building easily. Inside, Logan kills the last two guards by throwing his empty rifle at one of them, quickdrawing his buddy and finishing the stumbled first guy off.
Logan: Clear.
Merrick: He's just past those doors. Hesh, on me, let's get 'em. Kid, hang back. Everyone else, on us.
crash*
Hesh: On the ground! NOW!
Rorke: You boys sure know how to make an entrance.
Merrick: Shut up!
punch*
Keegan: Commence SSE, Kid.
While taking anything important that is not hard to carry, Logan gets concerned because of the fact that Rorke did not even stand his ground.
Nightfall: Decades of film, literature, gaming and military training have taught me that a villain like Rorke, or a target like Urchin, only lets us take him without putting up a fight when he wants us to take him. It seems odd that much more years of know-how and experience compared to mine wouldn't have taught the Ghosts the same thing. If they are truly smart, they'd kill him now and tell NORAD that he went for a weapon.
Merrick beats up Rorke*
Logan: SSE complete.
Merrick: Good! *exclaims*
Merrick throws Rorke out of a window*
Hesh: Pirate 5-0, this is Silence 5. Urchin is secure. Ready for extraction now, over.
Pirate 5-0: Roger that, Silence 5. Outlaw 2-1 is en route to your location.
Merrick: Scarecrow, this is Silence 1. We have him.
Scarecrow: Roger that. Outlaw will bring you to RV Alpha. We need to be mobile in 30 Mikes.
Outlaw 2-1 then picks up Silence Team w/ Rorke and takes them to RV Alpha. Which is a temporary airstrip in the Yucatan Peninsula, where Elias and his AC-130 Spectre are waiting to bring the Ghosts and their HVT in.
