14. IMPORTANT UPDATE!

Hello darlings! Apologies in advance for the notification, since this is quite clearly not a new chapter, but I wanted to provide an update to keep you all apprised of what is going on with this fic!

Some of you may have already noticed the change tacked onto the title saying 'under revision.' And I sincerely hope this isn't too much of a disappointment for anyone who has been tagging along with me on this crazy ride since the beginning! But, after much consideration, (and starting a prequel of sorts for TG '86 after publishing the first few chapters of this story), some of the original plots I had in mind here have changed. There are things (and characters) that I want to include now, that I didn't at the initial time of publishing, because they simply did not exist. Just as there are shifts in pairings that I want to accomodate, but in such a way that it flows and makes at least some modicum of sense? I don't think I can quite achieve that, here, if I were to simply continue posting new chapters, without things seeming disjointed, rushed, or just plain confusing. So it is my goal, going forward, to rework existing chapters to make my revised plots seem more logical, and once that is done (and I've got a little more work behind me on Flares as well), I will return to posting!

For any of you that aren't in any way interested in Flares, either because TG '86 wasn't your thing, or Val Kilmer isn't, I completely understand! Though Freefall will function as more of a sequel, I believe you will still be able to follow along just fine without reading Flares at all! Some of the characters may seem foreign, but beyond that, everything else should still make sense! And as always, my inbox will be open to accomodate any questions you may have!

Before I close, I just want to thank all of you for the remarkable kindness you have shown me thus far, both by simply reading this story, and for all of the lovely feedback as well! I appreciate your time, and your patience so, so very much! And I hope to see you all when I return to posting!
