Iruma, Clara, Haruno, Ameri, Eiko, Elizabetta and Kerori walked down the road while several other demons flew above them. Iruma hummed as he looked back in confusion and arched a brow, "Hey, since all of you can fly and I can turn into an animal...why are we walking to school?" the six sighed and Iruma narrowed his eyes slightly, "What's wrong?"

"Iruma, we have a few questions about the Rings," Haruno answered and Iruma hummed as he arched a brow, "Say if one of the Rings die...what happens to that Ring?"

"Oh...well...it depends on the circumstance," the six demonesses hummed in confusion, "Say if I went out and killed Lust for annoying me so much, so I have the Ring of Gluttony, the Ring of Lust will recognize me as its new master, if a Ring dies from either naturally or in an accident, that Ring will either go to another Ring, or fade into obscurity until a new master is revealed, and the same with a random demon killing one of the Rings...why? Don't tell me you girls are jealous because of Lust and her attitude," the six looked away and Iruma sighed as he shook his head, "Listen, I can't cheat on any of you even if I wanted to, and vise versa,"

"That's good to know, Iruma," Kerori inhaled slowly, "But there is something else, and I don't know if it's personal or pack?" Iruma hummed as Kerori walked over to him and whispered in his ear.

"Right...this is a pack issue...so we might be a little late for school," he looked at his mates and narrowed his eyes slightly, "So...is everyone going to be okay with that?" the others nodded and Iruma took a deep breath, "Okay, so apparently Chima has had a crush on me since she was eleven, and after what happened yesterday with...and...primal coming out, she talked to Kerori about this earlier and...she wants to be a mate,"

"Okay," Elizabetta hummed, "So is there a way to do that or is it set that she can't an-"

"It is possible, but it's also a four day process," Iruma rubbed the back of his neck, "If all of you are okay with a trial period, then Chima will be given the temporary rank of Omega, the lowest rank there is, and on the first day, all six of you and Chima will have to spend a few hours together, on the second day, Chima and I will spend a few hours together, on the third day, all eight of us will spend a few hours together and on the fourth day, the seven of us will talk and if it is decided, Chima will be welcomed into the pack and be given her proper rank,"

"But Iruma-kins...we all already know her and she is nice, so can't we just invite her and everyone will be happy?" Clara frowned.

Iruma took a deep breath as he shook his head, "No, unfortunately my animals won't break from any rules placed in the animal kingdom, if Chima wants to be a part of the pack, then this is the way it has to be done,"

"Well if it can't be helped then it can't be helped," Ameri sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose, "We'll start today after school...so I guess reading sessions will be on hold until this is over...and we should invite Chima in on them if she's going to be part of the pack...but we'll so far in the series an-"

"I'll catch her up on the series tomorrow," everyone looked at Iruma, "I won't read to her, I'll just explain the plot to her and if she is welcomed into the pack, which is very highly likely to happen, then she'll be caught up,"

"I guess that'll be good," Eiko chimed in, "It'll be better than having to start all over...so we'll start today?" the others nodded in agreement, "Right, so we better get to school," without warning, the six demonesses spread their wings as they began flying and Iruma turned into an eagle as he followed his mates.

The Misfit class sat at their desks, focusing on their work as Iruma hummed and scratched the side of his head, 'So Chima has had a crush on me for two years...how didn't I know? Either way, I hope this doesn't cause any strain on anyone an-'

"Iruma, sir?" Iruma looked up at his pink-haired best friend in confusion before Alice spoke, "Are you alright, sir? You seem to be distracted this morning,"

"It's nothing, Azz...just got a lot on my mind today, but don't worry about it,"

Alice hummed and nodded before focusing on his work, "If you say so, sir," Iruma looked at Clara and saw a small frown painted across her lips before he looked up and saw Elizabetta and Kerori looking back, small frowns painted across their lips as well before Iruma sighed and nodded and the four of them looked down at their work.

Soon the bell screamed throughout the schoolgrounds and the students stood up and began walking out of the classroom, "Hold it, you heathens," the Misfit class stopped and looked at their teacher in confusion as Naberius cleared his throat, "In two days, there will be an event, the First Year Hunt, where Battlers will go around, trying to recruit new members, so all of you will have a few days to decided which Battler you want to join, and understand, no matter which one you join, you are to be expected to behave yourselves and represent the Misfit Class as demons should," everyone nodded before turning around and walking away.

Iruma, with Clara beside him, walked down the all with narrowed eyes. The green-haired demoness looked at Iruma and slightly frowned before shaking her head, "Hey, what's wrong, Iruma-kins?" Iruma stopped and looked at Clara in confusion, "You learned that a new mate will join us, so we'll have a new friend an-"

"It's not that, Clara...I can't shake it, but something is bothering my instincts and I don't like it and neither do my animals...may-"

"There you two are," they looked back to see Kerori, Elizabetta, Haruno and Eiko walking up to them before Haruno smiled, "So the Battler's are going to be recruiting us in a few days and...and...what's wrong with Iruma?" the others looked at Iruma with a hardened expression crossing his face, "Did you hear something?"

"No...my instincts are yelling at me, but they don't know why, I don't know why and my animals are on edge...last time that happened was this past weekend an-" before he could finish, his ring started glowing and his eyes widened before it began pulling him through the courtyard and the others began chasing after him.

Iruma was pulled past other students before hitting a turquoise-haired demon and Iruyma's eyes widened before he narrowed them and growled under his breath before the demon under him spoke, "I'm so sorry," before falling unconscious.

Ameri, Clara, Haruno, Eiko, Kerori and Elizabetta walked up to him before Ameri panted, "What happened here?" she looked down and hummed, "Third Year Kirio Ami...what is going on, Iruma? The others told me that your ring started glowing an-"

"Ameri, go get grandpa and tell him to come here immediately," the six looked at him in confusion before he looked back and barked, "Now!" Ameri jumped back slightly before she turned and ran down the hall and Iruma turned his attention back to the unconscious demon, "Kirio Ami? Well I found out why my instincts have been bothering me today...they don't like this guy for some reason,"

"Iruma? Are you okay?" Eiko asked as Iruma groaned and stood up, "It's just...you never bark at anyone, and just now you-"

"I didn't mean to snap at anyone, Eiko," Iruma sighed as he shook his head, "This guy is a threat...I don't know how, but my instincts are yelling at me to get you girls away from him and then tear him apart piece by painful piece," the girls frowned as they looked down at the still unconscious demon at their feet, "I'll tell grandpa about this and about how my instincts a-"

"You know he can't do anything without any hard proof," Elizabetta chimed in, "If he does, others will see him playing favorites and who knows what will happen," Iruma hummed and nodded.

"Iruma, what's wrong, grandson?" they looked back and saw Sullivan followed by Ameri walking towards them. Sullivan looked down at the unconscious demon before looking at his adopted grandson and hummed, "What happened here?"

"My instincts have been screaming at me since the end of class, I couldn't figure out why until my ring started acting up and pulled me to Kirio Ami and once I saw him, my instincts went into overdrive and that's when I had Ameri get you," he looked past him adopted grandfather and frowned at Ameri as he shook his head, "I didn't mean to snap at you, Ameri, but this guy is a threat,"

Ameri slightly smiled as she shook her head before Sullivan spoke up, "We can't do anything without any evidence against him, grandson, but we'll keep a close eye on him," lifting his finger, everyone watched as Kirio was levitated, "For now, I'll take Kirio Ami to the infirmary, so you kids can go about the rest of you day. Stay out of trouble," they watched as Sullivan turned and walked away with Kirio's body following behind.

Everyone looked at Iruma and Kerori shook her head, "So...what are we going to do now?"

"Go to our other classes, get through the day, no First Love Memories today or tomorrow as you girls have to spend a few hours with Chima tonight and I have to spend a few hours with her tomorrow and then we'll see what happens after that," the others nodded before Clara, Kerori, Elizabetta and Iruma broke away from the group and walked away as Eiko and Haruno walked in the opposite direction.

Ameri sighed and shook her head, "This is going to be a strange year," she turned and walked away with a hardened expression crossing her face.
