Wednesday morning came by much quicker than Joan had anticipated. She's looking forward to seeing JFK again; although she has been hoping that he didn't forget about her.

When she heard the news that he had been beaten to a pulp while on his way to her house. She reached out to him by text message. Before long, he texted back and they had a short conversation before moving on to take care of other things.

As much as she wanted to visit him at his home, she just couldn't bring herself to. As soon as her boyfriend mentioned Abe, she just couldn't contain herself.

Do with that information what you will.

Joan could not continue denying it: Despite her relationship with one of the most popular guys in Clone High, she never stopped having romantic feelings for Abe. These were feelings she's had since before she became a teenager.

Abe was perfect in every way JFK isn't. He almost never thinks about himself. He goes out of his way to make others happy. Plus, he's quite knowledgable when it comes to anything he can put his mind to. Whenever she finds herself falling behind on any school subject, he had always been around to help her.

Ever since they got unfrozen, she had been mostly putting him off to the side. Spending almost all of her time with JFK. Before long, that's going to stop. Things will be like if they were never frozen to begin with. With the noted exception of Abe being nothing like what he was before.

Every time she ran into him, she just couldn't look at anything else. No matter how hard she tried, she found herself more attracted to him by the day. Can anyone blame her? Abe is sporting the perfect combination of black and cyan while highlighting the expression in his eyes by covering his mouth. It's more than enough to make girls like her water at the mouth.

There's also his reputation. Beating up a member of a right wing extremist group. That's a plus.

Right now, she's at her locker. Doing nothing in particular. She knows she'll be seeing Abe again soon. She had a whole day to think about what she'll say to him the next time she runs into him and she still couldn't piece anything together.

She then heard the entrance doors of the school swing open. It was as if the atmosphere itself had changed. She could see Abe looking every bit as heroic (and sexy) as he was yesterday, but what also caught her attention was the guy who was walking alongside him.

It took her a bit of time to put two and two together, but there was no doubt: JFK now looks different.

His hairstyle completely changed. Instead of standing up like usual, it's now freely flowing down his head. Almost touching his shoulders. Instead of wearing a red shirt with a white stripe, it's a white shirt with red sleeves.

There was just no way JFK could pull that off on his own. Abe must have had a hand in helping him.

"Students of Clone High!" Exclaims Abe. "Say hello… to WokeFK!"

Confucius, who is looking down at his phone, helt Harriet nudge him in the arm.

"OW!" He shuts his phone off before rubbing where she hit him. "Harriet! You know I have delicate skin!"

Harriet, who is lifting the sunglasses she was wearing over her eyes (It was a gift from Confucius) argues back. "It looks to me like you could use some of what Abe's got, babe."

Confucius raises an eyebrow. "Babe? You've never called me THAT before."

Joan could only stand in shock at what she's witnessing. "Okay… so THIS is what's happening now!"

"Oh ladies!" JFK spoke out. "I, er uh… have a strong desire to see all of you doing well later in life, and uh… there's always room for more progress!"

Abe put his hands on his hips. Smiling under his mask. "I couldn't have said it better myself, BFF!"

Confucius rubs the back of his head. "Huh… I guess there's room for… SOME improvement. Maybe I am overdue for a makeover."

"JFK!" Joan put on the happiest face she could as she approached the two. She wasted no time giving her boyfriend a hug, which he gladly accepted.

"Joan!" JFK spoke in his normal voice. "I'm sorry I didn't reach out to you sooner! I was just so busy!"

Joan wanted to be angry at him. But at the same tme, she didn't want to look bad in front of Abe. So she continued putting on a fake positive attitude.

"Oh, you have nothing to apoligize for, Kennedy! As long as you're alright now, that's all that matters!"

"You had time to spend with Abe, but not enough to spend with your own GIRLFRIEND!?" She yells in her mind. "Some boyfriend you turned out to be!"

It was then that Abe stepped into the conversation.

"I've been giving JFK here a crash course… in wokeism." He pats his newest friend on the shoulder. "But as the old saying goes: Knowing is half the battle."

JFK chuckles. He gets the reference. "With what we have planned. Amerigo, along with the rest of RR are gonna WISH they've never set their sights on Clone High!"

"Oh really?" Said Joan. "Well if you have a plan, you gotta let me in on it!"

"No can do, Joan!" Abe steps in again. "Highly confidential, I'm afraid. Even the new recruits don't know anything about it yet."

That caught Joan off guard. She didn't expect Abe to say anything like that. "Recruits?"

Abe nods. "I'm still workshopping the name, but I'm starting to warm up to The Clone High Antifascist Task Force.

Not the best name, I know. But Frida gave it a thumbs up, so it isn't all that bad."

"You're such a tactician, Abe. And a sexy one at that." Joan speaks in her mind. "If I didn't have a boyfriend right now, I'd be throwing myself at you! I don't care if everyone's watching."

"Well, if Frida is okay with it, so am I!" She said aloud. "I'll see you around, bae! Uh, I mean bro!"

As she walked away, JFK leaned closer to Abe.

"She's looking at you in a way that she's never given me before. I think she's starting to uh… dig you. If you know what I mean."

For a second, Abe considered dropping everything and pursuing a relationship with Joan again. Being with her will no doubt make him happier. He won't have to worry about fighting anymore because he'll be spending all his time doing all he can to make her happy.

But there's still work to be done. If he doesn't bring the fight to RR, who will? This is a problem that can't be ignored for a little bit and come back to at a more convenient time. They're not going anywhere and neither is he.

"It's just your imagination, dude." He told his friend. "Now come on. Let's get to class."
