Burchard snoozes soundly face up on his towel, though he is suddenly awoken by the sound of something rubber hitting what sounded like a wall at great speed. Still half a sleep, he notices something soft under his head while slowly opening his eyes and looks up at the beach umbrella, he asks himself, "how long was I out?"

"Reply: not long, maybe 20 minutes."

-

To his surprise, his vision is filled with Yuzuru who looks down at him with a small smile though from the angle which he was look up at her from he asks, "uh? Is my head on your lap?"

-

She nods then replies, "reply: yes it is."

-

With her eyebrow raised she asks, "inquiry: is that a bad thing?"

-

He smiles back at her while shaking his head then replies, "no, just wanted to make sure I wasn't still dreaming."

-

The comment causes her cheeks to turn red but instead of trying to look away to hide her embarrassment, her smile grows as she starts to run her fingers through his hair while saying, "confirmation: that is good to hear."

-

A thought comes to mind causing him to ask, "what was that sound?"

-

She looks back at him with a raised eyebrow while asking, "inquiry: what sound?"

-

He replies, "it sounded like something rubber hitting a wall."

-

She puts her other hand to her chin and looks up into the air while thinking, then with a look of realization, she looks in front of her and points while saying, "confirmation: Yuzuru thinks that is what you heard."

-

He looks over to where she was pointing and to his surprise, sees Shido sprawled out on the sand with a volleyball firmly planted in his face while Kaguya kneels next to him and desperately tries to shake him awake. Now concerned but still laying down he asks, "what happened to him?"

-

She replies, "reply: it appears he was struck by a volleyball."

-

He chuckles a bit then responds, "yeah that is kinda obvious."

-

He sits up and starts looking around while continuing, "but where did it come from?"

-

He quickly gets an answer to his question when he sees Tohka storming over to them with a look of sheer rage covering her face while origami follows close behind and even though she showed little emotion as usual, the dark aura engulfing her made it obvious that she was indeed pissed. They get to where they all were sitting just as Shido comes back to life and shakes the ball off his face while asking, "what happened?"

-

His question is answered by Tohka who stands in front of him while saying in as forced of a calm voice as possible, "sorry Shido. My hand slipped, though I guess it was partially your fault."

-

Confused he asks, "my fault? How?"

-

She starts to innocently smile bath at him but In the same forced calm voice replies while pointing at Kaguya, "because I got distracted when I saw your slimy hands all over her back."

-

Finding herself being pointed at, Kaguya becomes annoyed while snapping, "hey! It's not my fault that he couldn't help himself while putting his hands all over me!"

-

Tohka's attention turns back to Shido and while her eye twitches she asks, "so you couldn't help yourself huh?"

-

Shido on the other hand looks back at her petrified while trying to find a way out of the hole he was currently being buried in though before he could defend himself, he notices Origami suddenly lying face down in front of him while saying, "if touching a girls back is what excites you then by all means use me."

-

Surprised by the girl now lying in front of him, he finds himself only able to mutter, "huh?"

-

Before he could make a proper response, Tohka starts to visibly fume while blurting out, "hey! That's not fare!!!"

-

She proceeds to belly flop on top of Origami while continuing, "if anyones getting sunscreen rubbed on their back by Shido it's me!!!"

-

Seeing her place now taken by not one but two different girls, Kaguya becomes enraged while jumping on top of Tohka while shouting, "hey! He still isn't finished me yet!"

-

Shido looks wider eyed at the dog pile of women that is in front of him and arguing but isn't sure what or anything he can say at this point. Meanwhile Burchard continues to sit with Yuzuru a few feet away though becoming concerned at what he was seeing, he leans over while asking, "should we do something?"

-

She looks back at him with a raised eyebrow while asking, "inquiry: are you not enjoying the show?"

-

He replies, "I mean it's definitely an interesting sight to see but I'm worried someone will get hurt."

-

He points at the bottom of the pile while continuing, "especially since that origami girl hasn't moved in a while."

-

Looking down at origami who was now close to being level with the sand causes Yuzuru to say, "confirmation: you have a point."

-

She puts a hand to her chin while thinking out loud, "inquiry: what would be the best course of action?"

-

With an idea coming to mind, Burchard looks over while asking, "hey Tohka?"

-

Hearing her name causes Tohka to lift herself off which intern causes Kaguya to roll off her with a thud but ignoring this she looks over at Burchard while asking, "you called?"

-

He holds up the volleyball that was previously planted in Shido's face while asking, "why did you have this?"

-

As if coming to a sudden realization she says, "oh yeah! I was going to ask if you wanted to play volleyball!"

-

She looks over at Shido while shouting, "come on Shido! Let's go play!"

-

Confused by the whole situation in front of him but still tired from the night before, Shido simply smiles guiltily while saying, "sorry but I'm still pretty tired, why don't you all go play instead?"

-

To his surprise, Tohka starts to glare at him and while pointing at Kaguya snaps, "you mean from your wild night with her?"

-

He looks back at her shocked while muttering, "you heard?"

-

Origami lifts herself up, ironically leaving a perfect imprint of herself in the sand, and glares at Shido while saying, "the whole hotel heard."

-

Shido sits there horrified at what he is hearing while Kaguya grins cheekily and says, "ha! It just sounds like you're all jealous."

-

The anger suddenly shifts from Shido to her as Tohka and Origami glare at her with dark auras surrounding them both. Kaguya starts to shiver from the chill that ran down her spine from their gaze and seeing things deteriorating at an alarming rate, Burchard quickly jumps up while saying, "I have an idea!"

-

Caught off by the sudden outburst, the dark aura dissipates as everyone's attention now turns to Burchard as Tohka curiously asks, "what is your idea?"

-

Burchard holds the volleyball up while replying, "why don't you guys play against each other?"

-

She ponders the idea while looking back at the other girls, but with her defiantly looking away and crossing her arms, she responds, "humph! Why would I want to play with them?"

-

He quickly replies, "because I think it would be fun!"

-

He continues to smile innocently back at her while thinking, "and it'll stop any potential bloodshed….. hopefully."

-

Tohka seems to ponder this thoroughly as she puts a hand to her chin then as if an idea comes to mind, she looks over at Origami with a sly grin while asking, "origami?"

-

Origami looks back at her while asking in a slightly annoyed tone, "what do you want?"

-

Tohka continues to smile slyly at her while asking, "wanna destroy her on the court?"

-

Origami blinks at her a few times then walks up to and takes the ball from Burchard while saying, "for once you have an excellent idea."

-

Her attention turns to Kaguya while the dark aura around her only deepens as she asks, "shall we go?"

-

Kaguya looks back at both of them shocked while muttering, "hang on! It's two against one. That's not fair!"

-

Tohka smiles innocently back at her while saying, "who said anything about this having to be fair?"

-

Burchard looks at the once more deteriorating situation while trying to think of what to do but gets surprised by Yuzuru who walks past him while saying, "inquiry: why doesn't Yuzuru play so it shall be even?"

-

Kaguya looks back at her surprisingly insulted while saying, "hang on! Sure it's unfair but I don't need your help to beat them!"

-

Unfazed Yuzuru responds, "rebuttal: Yuzuru only wishes to play with you to show Burchard how much better Yuzuru is compared to Kaguya."

-

Now fuming from the rage she was feeling, Kaguya snaps, "oh yeah?"

-

She snatches the ball from Tohka and proceeds to shove it in Yuzuru's face while shouting, "once I'm done single handedly winning this match, Shido will know for sure that I am better!!!"

-

With competitive sparks now flying between them, Shido looks at them both while scratching the back of his head and asking, "aren't you supposed to be on the same team?"

-

Kaguya's head creaks over and she looks at him with as innocent of a smile as humanly possible as she replies, "oh silly Shido, that doesn't mean we won't be competing?"

-

Yuzuru looks at him while adding, "rebuttal: beating these two and Kaguya at the same time is the most efficient."

-

Kaguya's head immediately snaps back while shouting, "why you!!!!"

-

She starts storming over to the court while continuing, "you talk a lot for someone that's gonna lose!!!"

-

The rest of the girls follow behind, leaving both Burchard and Shido standing there while trying to make sense of what they just saw. After a few moments of standing, Shido falls back on his towel and sighs with relief while saying, "finally I can actually relax a bit."

-

Burchard sits down while chuckling then looks over while asking, "so does this happen often?"

-

Shido looks over at him with confusion while asking, "what do you mean?"

-

Burchard replies, "you know, the thing with all the girls fighting to get your attention?"

-

Hearing the question causes him to sigh disheartedly then looks up at the sky while responding, "it definitely happens way to often."

-

Burchard look back at him with a raised eyebrow while asking, "you don't seem to enjoy it? Why don't you just tell them to stop?"

-

Shido shakes his head while replying, "it's not that simple. I can't just tell them to leave me alone."

-

Now curious Burchard asks, "why's that?"

-

Shido shakes his head again while saying, "sorry but I can't tell you."

-

Knowing that was going to be the answer, Burchard chuckles a bit while looking over at the volleyball game that was just starting and saying, "yeah, I figured as much."

-

A silence fills the air as Shido attempts to enjoy the quiet, but with a nagging question bugging him, he looks over while asking, "hey. Can I ask you something?"

-

Burchard looks back at him while saying, "sure. What is it?"

-

Shido sits up so he is at eye level with him and asks, "how do you feel about Yuzuru?"

-

Surprised by the question, he asks with a raised eyebrow, "why?"

-

Shido looks back at him innocently while replying, "just curious."

-

Burchard continues to look at him suspiciously but not thinking of any ulterior motives he looks up into the sky while thinking. After a few moments of pondering he slowly starts to smile then looks down at Shido while saying, "well, if we're being honest…."

-

THUD!!!

-

Burchard gets interrupted by what sounds like some kind of collision and when he looks over to the volleyball court, sees both Yuzuru and Kaguya sprawled out on their backs. Now concerned Burchard stands up while saying, "what happened to them?"

-

His question however is immediately answered by Kaguya who sits up while shouting, "dang it Yuzuru! You keep getting in my way!"

-

Yuzuru sits up while saying back, "rebuttal: if you hadn't gotten in Yuzuru's way than we would be winning."

-

While standing up and brushing off sand, Kaguya snaps, "wow! Can't believe you would blame me for your own problems!"

-

While this is happening, Tohka jumps with joy from the other side of the net while shouting, "yay! We're beating them!"

-

Origami while standing next to her adds, "for once you are correct."

-

She starts pointing at the twins while continuing, "though I think the more accurate thing to say is that their beating each other."

-

Seeing this unique situation unfolding causes Shido to sigh disheartedly then says, "this is hard to watch."

-

To his surprise, he hears laughing coming from next to him, and when he looks over sees Burchard chuckling to him. Now confused he asks, "what's so funny?"

-

He stops chuckling and looks over at him with a grin while saying, "just the way their acting is pretty funny."

-

Shido sighs disheartedly in response then responds, "yeah but what happens when they get too angry at each other? There's going to be another typhoon before we know it."

-

Burchard shakes his head in response while saying, "I don't think that's going to happen."

-

Now even more confused than before, shido looks back at him with a raised eyebrow while asking, "why do you think that?"

-

Burchard replies, "because they just need the proper motivation to work together."

-

With his question not exactly answered, shido continues to look at him with confusion but before he could press further, he overhears Tohka shout, "ha! And just think of how much better we look to the boys compared to them!!!"

-

The beach goes an almost eery quiet as the twins continue to glare at each other though it becomes apparent that their anger has shifted when both their heads slowly creek over and they both glare at a now concerned Tohka as Kaguya asks, "hey Yuzuru?"

-

Yuzuru replies, "rebuttal: yes Kaguya?"

-

Kaguya asks, "shall we destroy them?"

-

Yuzuru puts a hand to her chin as if she were debating her question then simply replies, "reply: lets."

Tohka holds the volleyball in hand and nervously looks at the other end of the court where a dark aura of determination and anger now consumes the twins who glare back at them with a fiery rage. Shaking away as much of her nervousness as possible, Tohka serves the ball over the net. Kaguya receives it and deflects it into the air but to everyone's confusion, she kneels down while Yuzuru jumps up and launches her self off of Kaguya's shoulder and into the air. Now almost flying, Yuzuru spikes the ball with all her might which sends it back down to earth in a literal sense like a meteor since flames start to fly off its end it.

-

Neither Tohka or origami are able to move as the ball flies past them and buries into the sand between them. They both look wide eyed at the smouldering hole that sat between them though they do get distracted by a sound of cheering, and when they look over, see the twins jumping up and hi fiving while Kaguya shouts, "we did it!!!"

-

Yuzuru adds, "excitement: we shut them up!"

-

While this is happening, Shido looks at them dumbfounded while saying, "honestly never thought I'd see that happen?"

-

Burchard chuckles a bit in response then says, "like I said, they just needed proper motivation."

-

Though they tried their best, origami and Tohka just couldn't keep up with the overwhelming firepower that the twins brought to bare and were both now collapsed under a beach umbrella, too exhausted to even care about their close proximity to each other while Kaguya and Yuzuru continue to celebrate with each other. Meanwhile Burchard continues to sit with Shido who says in an almost Solum tone, "they look so happy together."

-

Not noticing the tone, Burchard continues to smile at the twins while saying, "yeah. Even though there always competing, they do work well with each other."

-

For some strange reason, Shido is annoyed by the comment but instead of saying anything about it, he simply sighs disheartedly while muttering to himself, "I'm running out of time."

-

Not quite hearing, Burchard looks over while asking, "what did you say?"

-

Shido simply shakes his head in response then replies, "it was nothing."

-

Burchard is about to press the matter but gets interrupted when Kaguya runs up to them while shouting, "did you see that Shido! We kicked there butts!"

-

Shido's mood takes a complete 180 as he smiles back at her while saying, "yeah you did real good."

-

Kaguya continues to beam with joy and excitement while Burchard notices Yuzuru walk up to him with a small smile while he asks, "you have fun?"

-

To his surprise, she ignores the question and instead asks, "inquiry: can we talk?"

-

Not thinking anything of it, he replies, "yeah sure. What did you wanna talk about?"

-

She responds, "rebuttal: Yuzuru wishes to speak with you alone."

-

Surprised by the response, he gets to his feet while saying, "oh? Yeah sure. Where do you wanna go?"

-

She takes his hand and starts guiding him away while saying, "rebuttal: please follow Yuzuru."

-

Surprised by her sudden behaviour, he decides it was best to simply let her guide him to wherever she needed to take him.
