'Mara!'

'Mara!'

'No! get off me!'

'Mara it's me!'

My eyes shot open as I struggled within the hands of another 'Mara it's me, Merton!'

I turned my head up towards him, and indeed it was Merton.

'Merton-' embarrassment crept upon me 'I-I'm sorry I thought-'

His arms wrapped around me and I sunk into his body, my eyes closed and tears fell down my cheeks.

'It's alright,' said Merton, his arms wrapping tighter around me 'it's not your fault.'

'I-I'm sorry-I-'

'Shh, it's alright.' he cupped my chin and turned my face up towards him 'No need to be sorry...want to talk about it?'

My head shook and I breathed out slowly

'I was in Malfoy Manor...but...everything was, different...' my lip bit 'H-Harry Potter was dead, and..and...well...I was in Greyback's clutches.' I shuddered, and Merton rubbed my arm

'Well you're here, safe, with me, and Harry Potter is very much alive, the war was won, remember? Voldemort was vanquished, and many of his Death Eaters are imprisoned.'

'Yes...yes, I know...' I sighed and pressed my head against Merton's chest 'We'd better wake Artie..is his trunk packed?'

'It is,' said Merton 'and what about you, are you ready?'

'I-I think so.'

'You'll do good, I know it,' Merton smiled 'it'll be good for the kids, hell, even the teachers to have someone to talk to...'

'I'm just glad the Ministry approved it...I mean...therapy...it's a muggle thing..you know.'

'The Wizarding world is just catching up is all,' Merton beamed 'maybe soon, we'll even have better relationships with the muggles...time will tell.'

'I hope so...I'm going to bathe...then I need to make breakfast.'

'Mara...' Merton's hand clamped on my shoulder as I turned 'you're not still...you know...'

I bit my lip 'A little...but...'

'There's nothing to be afraid of Mara.'

'B-but he's still out there, he was never caught.'

'Greyback won't risk coming out into the open, he's keeping a low profile. But I know Oscar will get him, one of these days.'

'I guess...anyway, bath.'

'Mind if I join you?'

My eyes rolled 'If you must.' I smirked, and lead Merton out of the room.

Kings Cross station was packed with families parting ways for children either returning to Hogwarts or beginning their first year.

Just like Artemas Graves, my son, who peered up at the long scarlet train billowing smoke from it's funnels.

'Are you alright, Artie?' I asked, running my hand through his black hair

'I'm fine, mum...mum?'

My eyes widened in fear at the man striding towards me through the crowd, his grey hair matted as ever, his sideburns sticking out like whiskers, and his piercing blue eyes glittering dangerously back at me.

'Mara?' hands pressed on my shoulders and I jumped, I looked back up at Merton then towards the spot I saw him, but there was no one there other than the families scattered around.

My eyes closed and my head shook

'I'm okay, just a little nervous.'

Merton looked concerned and brushed my cheek with his fingers.

'Mara?'

I looked around at the sound of a new voice, and there, standing before me was

'Harry,' I smiled 'good to see you, how are you?'

'I'm good,' he grinned 'so this must be, Artemas, right?'

Harry gave my son an unsettled expression if only fleetingly, but I noticed it, the people who knew who his real father was gave him that same look.

'Y-you're Harry Potter!? For real!'

Harry chuckled

'I see you've already heard of me,' he grinned 'Merton, how are you?' he shook his hand

'Oh, I'm good,' he shrugged 'and who's this?'

He asked, indicating the purple haired boy standing beside Harry.

'Teddy Lupin,' said Harry 'My Godson, Ginny's at home with the children.'

'Nice to meet you,' beamed Teddy 'and you're Merton Graves! I love your music.'

'I can see that,' grinned Merton, gesturing to the Weird Sisters shirt he was wearing 'nice to meet a fan. Nice hair.'

Teddy smirked 'Thanks.'

'So,' said Harry 'Hogwarts first Therapist, that's certainly interesting.'

'It's definitly-new-but I hope I do a good job.'

'I'm sure you will,' said Harry 'Merlin knows the kids need a listening ear, even the teachers, especially after, well, uh...everything.'

'Yeah...uh...Harry...there hasn't been any news about...well, you know...'

Harry frowned and shook his head

'You'll be the first to be informed if he's captured.'

I nodded, and noticed the kids confused expressions

'Thanks.'

He cast me a sympathetic look, and we glanced as the trains whistle blew.

'Better get on the train, kids, and you Mara.' said Harry

'Yes, of course,' I turned towards Merton and pushed my lips upon his own 'I love you.'

'Love you too.' he smiled, brushed my chin and watched as I lead Artemas away and onto the train. Artie and I watched Merton slowly crawl away from view as the train lurched into motion, and we found a compartment with Teddy and watched the scenery.

I was nervous, yet, excited about becoming Hogwarts first therpist, I just hoped I could do a good job.
