Boruto huffs and puffs as the holograms disappear.
"Good job Boruto." Trunks said. Boruto's training is doing well so now they can do the next mission. They both leave the chamber and fly away.
"So we just wait for a time anomaly to appear and we deal with it?" Boruto asks. The idea of just missions and waiting for missions sounds exhausting.
"Heh. No, you go and do anything as you would any other job. Actually, we have enough time to get something to eat. What do you like? My treat." Trunks offers and Boruto's stomach growls. Both laugh and there is one meal he wants above all else.
"Please tell me you have a ramen stand."
Both of them are sitting at a ramen stand and order. As they watch the food being made, Boruto asks something.
"So you are the son of a prince?"
"Yeah. My parents are basically royalty."
"Whoa, that is cool." Boruto is happy to meet someone so cool and similar since their parents are both royals. Watching people walking around does pass the time and Boruto notices some are greeting or bowing to Trunks. Though that is expected since he has helped recruit a lot of them and is a legend around Toki Toki City.
"But enough about me." Trunks sways the attention away from him and to his partner. "Tell me about you. Your father was an Hokage? What is that?"
"Oh basically the ruler of the village." Boruto tries his best to explain the job he used to hate. It always felt that his father focused on his job then on his family but Boruto knows it was a job to protect their family. As the ramen is delivered, he feels sad thinking about them. Something Trunks notices.
"You miss them?" Trunks asks Boruto. To which he nods and feels a kinship. "I miss my family too. But it always feels nice going back in time and helping them. Think of this as being your family's guardian. Making sure that their path isn't being interfered."
"Wow. Thanks Trunks!" Boruto feels better and digs into his ramen. As he is eating, he thinks of a new goal. Something like his old man wanting to become Hokage.
He vows to one day be a legend like Trunks, his sensei Sasuke, and his old man.
Trunks and Boruto enter the Time Nest with full stomachs and find a pouty Supreme Kai of Time. She places her hands on her hips. They are both sweating at her gaze.
"What is this I heard of you going to the ramen stand?"
"Um..." Boruto tries to speak but she interrupts him.
"You went there without me?!" Supreme Kai of Time stomps on the floor. She is quite angry that they went without her. Boruto quickly grabs one of those Capsule and throws it above Supreme Kai. Poof and smoke appears and she grabs a warm bowl of ramen.
"Don't worry. We bought a bowl for you." Boruto gives her a thumbs up. Supreme Kai takes a bite and smiles.
"Good. You remember me. I would've made sure you train against a Super Saiyan if you forgotten."
That name confuses Boruto. He knows what a Saiyan is but a Super Saiyan...
"Trust me." Trunks steps in. "You are not ready for that. But I know you are ready for a different kind of Saiyan."
"Time for your next Time Patrol." Supreme Kai mumbles from the noodles.
They all enter the Time Vault and Trunks pulls out a time scroll. Once he unrolls it, the events are showed.
"This takes place when Piccolo and Gohan are training for the Saiyans, including my father."

Piccolo dodges the Ape Gohan's fist and flies to a pillar far away from Ape Gohan. The transformed child fires ki blast from his mouth and Piccolo watches the destruction, unable to fight against the Great Ape.
He looks up to the moon and raises his hand, ready to destroy it when his upper half is cleaved in half. The person that caused this is obscured in a dark aura with his eyes glowing red. He holds his giant butcher to his shoulder with the blood on it seeming to dissipate. No one can stop Ape Gohan's rampage now.
Boruto looks at the finished scroll. Trunks hides his sorrow at this scene and coughs top get his attention.
"We don't know who is the attacker but without Piccolo destroying the moon, Gohan will continue to destroy everything. I believe you can do it but watch out. A Great Ape is not only strong but his speed is not slowed by his size." Trunks hands Boruto the scroll.
Supreme Kai of Time gets Boruto's attention by holding up one of her narutomaki. "We don't know who is the swordsman so be ready for anyone. Please come back safely."
"I will." Boruto takes a bite of it and teleports away. Trunks is confuse why Supreme Kai is looking at her chopsticks while blushing.

Gohan and Piccolo are sitting on top of a stone pillar in the wilderness. They are taking a break after their training session. That was until Gohan stares at the full moon. He is just gazing as Piccolo gets up.
"Alright. Breaks over kid." Piccolo said and notices Gohan is not getting up. He walks to him and grabs him. "Come on Gohan. We should-"
"GGRRAAHH!" Gohan suddenly grows and becomes an giant ape. Great Ape Gohan slams his fist which Piccolo dodges.
On another pillar, a figure shrouded in dark aura. Just as he is about to interfere, Boruto teleports next to him and goes into a stance.
"Stop right there! You are not interfering." Boruto said and the figure takes out his giant butcher knife. The figure's appearance is more noticeable once Boruto sees him with his own eyes. Shirtless and baggy camo pants. Bandages obscuring his face.
"Don't think you can beat me kid." Killer instinct oozes from his body.
This is someone Boruto knows about but never meet. His father always told him stories of his adventures and the first one was always his favorite to talk about. The Mist ninja that showed him what it means to be a shinobi.
"Zabuza Momochi."
"Its good to know that I'm known in these parts. Time to cleave you in half." Zabuza swings Kubikiribocho. Boruto ducks and forms a Rasengan to hit Zabuza, knocking him a few feet. He creates three Shadow Clones and all go for a kick. Zabuza stabs one of clones then grabs another and slams him into the real Boruto.
He falls off the pillar but Boruto is able to grab the edge. While he lifts himself up, Zabuza rapidly does hand signs.
"Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet!" Zabuza summons water in the form of a dragon and it darts towards Boruto. Without thinking, Boruto grabs the water dragon. The water cuts his palms. Grunting in pain, Boruto still holds on to it. Even beginning to shrink into his hands.
"Those clones..." Zabuza thinks to himself as dark energy comes out of his body.
Boruto's Kama is absorbing the water dragon, which surprises him. Momoshiki may be sealed within him but he can still use his powers. Once the dragon is gone, Zabuza appears in front of Boruto and swings down. The extra chakra he has now allows him to quickly create a Giant Rasengan and clashes with Kubikiribocho.
"You remind of this other blond!" Zabuza smiles under his bandages. The memory of that blond has him excited. "So you better be just as fun or you are dead!"
This job is the weirdest he has ever done but the pay is good. And he gets to slaughter? Man, his boss is crazy but he show knows the type of missions Zabuza likes. Kubikiribocho's upper half comes clean off but Zabuza is able to cut Boruto's chest with the remains of his blade. The blood seeps into Kubikiribocho and it begins to regrow the blade.
Boruto steps back, holding his chest wound and looks to see the Carving Sword seem to heal itself.
"So it's true. Blood can regenerate the Kubikiribocho if it's broken."
Zabuza holds his blade to his shoulder and laughs. "Heh, you know more then you should. Tell me, how do you have all this information?"
This is information Zabuza made sure no one should know. Especially in this world that isn't his own.
"You knew my old man." Boruto said. He pulls out a Senzu Bean and eats it, closing the wound. Zabuza narrows his eyes to get a better look at this brat and finds a semblance to someone.
Meanwhile, Piccolo dodges another hairy fist and lands on another pillar as Ape Gohan fires from his mouth. Realizing this is just like when Goku transform from looking at the moon, Piccolo realizes what to do.
Invigorated and his wound healed, Boruto runs at Zabuza with a Rasengan. Zabuza swings but Boruto jumps over the sword and smashes it into the swordsman. This creates a small hole in his stomach, knocking the former Mist Shinobi down. Just in time for Boruto to see Piccolo fire a beam at the moon, destroying it and reverting Gohan's transformation.
Boruto sighs with relief. His mission is complete and now all that is left is Zabuza. He walks towards the downed swordsman but he feel something coming.
He narrowly dodges the senbon. This allows someone in a mask to grab Zabuza and teleport away.
"Damnit!" Boruto shouts. Disappointed in himself for letting Zabuza escape.
"It's okay Boruto." The Supreme Kai of Time assures him. "Just come back and we can talk about it."
Boruto returns to the Time Nest. Right next to Trunks and the Supreme Kai of Time. The kai finishes her Ramen bowl and waves.
"Welcome back!"
"It is great that Gohan is saved but it is odd about that shinobi." Trunks thinks about Zabuza.
"Yeah." Boruto think about him as well. "My dad would talk about his adventures and Zabuza and Haku would always come up."
"I will search for where they came from. There must be a scroll from their timeline that can explain. But first..." She points at Boruto. "You are getting some rest."
Boruto shakes his head, ignoring the fact that his shirt is ruined thanks to Zabuza. "I can still-"
"Ah! Don't want to hear it. Even Goku and Naruto would rest before going to the next fight." The Supreme Kai of Time exits the Time Nest and motions Boruto to follow.
"I'm taking you to your new home. Trunks, you should rest too."
Trunks nods as his boss drags his partner away.
Supreme Kai of Time shows Boruto his new house. "Welcome to the your home!"
She spins around and points all over. "You are getting a kitchen! king-sized bed! Even some stuff and clothing from your home."
"Really?" Boruto grabs one of the suitcases and pull out his old outfit and his sensei's and father's forehead protectors. This makes him happy and quickly takes his shirt off to change. Something that has the Supreme Kai of Time blushing.
"Boruto..." Supreme Kai of Time looks away and Boruto begins to blush as well once he realize what he was doing.
"Sorry Supreme Kai of Time! I was excited to get new clothes!"
"It's okay. I'll just get out of your hair. See you tomorrow."
She opens the door and is about to leave but...
"Chronoa."
"Huh?" Boruto wonders what she just said.
"My real name. You can call me that." Chronoa reveals her true name. Something that surprises him.
"Really?"
Chronoa waves his question away. "Come on, it's you, me and Trunks. We are basically friends."
She exits and Boruto holds both of their forehead protectors. Tomorrow is a new day and he is getting used to this new job. Maybe the new mission won't be too hard.
