What?! Another chapter update already?! Yes! I want to thank you readers for being patient with me during the time I wasn't able to update, so you get to have another chapter early! I'm also going to be leaving on a trip soon and won't be back until August so I don't want to leave you all hanging this time around. I want to try to update on my down time but idk if I'll have decent internet access where I'm heading. Other than that, I hope you enjoy the build up and I appreciate the feedback and support I've received so far, it means so much to me 3

The bell rings for everyone to return to class, students filling the hallways once more as they get ready for their next class. Stan, Kyle and Cartman are walking with their books when Kenny catches up with them.
"Hey dude, where did you go?" Stan asked.
"Yeah, I mean I know Cartman can be fucking stupid but I didn't think he'd make you so angry you'd leave us.." Kyle added, concern in his voice.
"Shut up you stupid jew, I didn't do anything wrong!" Cartman exclaimed, not that anyone really cared in that moment, but they expected the response.
"Oh I didn't leave 'cause I was mad, I wanted to catch up with Butters and Jayden," Kenny muffled through his hood.
"Jayden? You mean the new kid?" Stan asked, confused.
"Yeah, he's not bad at all. Butters and I finished giving him a tour of the school, but we found out that he likes superheroes a lot." Kenny continued.
"Superheroes huh? What does he like, Marvel or DC?" Cartman questioned, full judgement in his voice.
"Both, but he's more of a Marvel fan.." Kenny replied, an eyebrow raised at Cartman.
"Tch, typical. So what's his favorite superhero then?" Cartman questioned. Stan and Kyle started to feel a slight tension, the interrogation continued as they entered the classroom and took their seats.
"Spider-Man.." Kenny stated, a hint of caution in his voice as he crossed his arms, not breaking eye contact with Cartman.
"Lame!" Cartman yelled, a couple looks were shot at him from kids that were trickeling into the class, but ignored by the big guy. "He's obviously just riding the hype train with the new spider-man movie, superheroes are old anyways!" Cartmen commented as he motioned his hand to further express his displeasure.
At this point, Kenny was already squinting at Cartman, arms still crossed and slightly slouching in his desk with his back against the seat, you'd think he was a calm and collected mafia boss who was one move away from killing the person in front of him.
"Well he invited Butters and I to check out his collection after school; you, Stan and Kyle can come over too, IF you want.." Kenny retorted, now leaning towards Cartman, eyebrows furrowed.
Cartman grew a large, shit-eating grin as he also leaned towards Kenny on his desk. "IS that so? How interesting! Guess we'll find out if he's the real deal after all~" he spoke all too happily, the tension so thick that Stan knew he had to say something, ANYTHING to break it.
"What the hell is happening here-?", he started to question before getting interrupted by Kyle. "SOOOO Spider-Man huh? Solid choice, solid choice!" he blurted nervously, seems like he had the same idea as Stan, thankfully the bell rang again. Butters ran inside the classroom hold Jayden's hand before letting go, the boys taking a moment to stop and take a few deep breaths.
"I can't believe-you almost-got lost-in the crowds like that!," Butters muttered between breaths before putting his hand on Jayden's shoulder. "Guess I have to keep a close eye on you for a while, huh?" he laughed, lightly patting the spot before leaving and taking his seat. Jayden, who was still catching his breath with his hands on his knees and his head tilted down, finally stood upright, cheeks tinted pink. He quickly ran his hand through his hair nervously before taking his seat, but not before looking up at Kenny and giving a small wave at him. Kenny waved back, a big smile evident on his face (well to the trio at least) before Jayden sat down. As Cartman watched this exchange, gears in his head started to turn, and he couldn't help but smirk deviously before Mr. Garrison called the class to attention.
