Chapter 18: Grim Reaper and Demons Part 1

This will be the first part of when Grim Reaper appears and the two Demons Aquaius and Goliath arrive on the battlefield too. Enjoy the chapter.

At Tartaros guild

Mard Geer was making preparations for their attack on Magnolia. "Looks like our ship will be ready."

Rachena was there bowing in front of the underworld king. "Yes, the preparations are almost complete, once we arrive we'll be able to join the battle."

A communication lacrima that was laying on a table nearby Mard Geer glowed. "Fufufufu...bad news, underworld king, Syka returned...but in one of the containers of Hell's Core."

Mard Geer narrowed his eyes. "So, Syka lost, but, does that mean Jackal is there?"

"Strangely, he isn't..." Lamy replied in a confusing tone. "I don't understand why Jackal didn't reappear in the Hell's Core, if he was defeated, then he would've been here."

Mard Geer was a bit surprised and confused at the same time. "Is it possible that Jackal was taken prisoner, but, how could that happen because we don't possession magic, so their magic seal stones would be useless against us." He put his finger under his chin in thought. "Either way, I suppose I should send some backup."

He snapped his fingers at two demon soldiers.. "You two, get Rachena and Slither right away." The two demon soldiers saluted and shortly after they came back with the two demons.

Rachena and Slither bowed to their underworld king. "Rachena, Slither, I want you to go the south and find out what is Jackal's situation. If any humans get in your way, kill them..."

Slither smirked. "About time, I couldn't wait any longer to unleash my wrath on those pathetic humans."

Rachena bowed her head. "We shall do as you command my king." They exited the throne room and went her way.

In another part of the town, Jackal was sitting down with his legs crossed with the sea prism stone handcuffs still attached to his wrists. He was pissed off that his power was being sealed preventing him from attacking. "Damn...I didn't know handcuffs like these existed in the world of pirates." He bared his teeth with anger. "Once I find a way to get out of these I'll kill every last human."

"Excuse..." He lift his head towards the other of the cell bars and saw Kagura, narrowing her eyes at him. "I believe your name is Jackal."

Jackal glared at the human with anger. "Yeah, what's it to you?"

"I would like to ask you some questions about your reasons for being here and intervening in the war," Kagura replied her gaze not budging.

Jackal scoffed as he turned his head away. "Yeah, well I got no answers for you, so, no matter what you say, I won't talk especially to a mere human."

Kagura's gaze still didn't budge as her eyes continued to stare down at the demon. "I would advise you to cooperate or else-"

"Or else, what, you'll kill me, you might as well get it over with it since I won't talk..." Jackal still kept his eyes away from the Mermaid Heel swordswoman.

Kagura growled slightly as she placed her hand on her sword's handle. "May I remind you that you and your kind caused a lot of trouble about a year ago? You guys nearly destroyed the world's magic, that could've destroyed our lives not to mention ruined people's lively hood." She took her hand off her sword's handle and turned away. "Even if I killed you, I wouldn't gain anything but emptiness."

Jackal's eyes glanced at the swordswoman. "What's your point, human?"

Kagura gritted her teeth. "For the record my name is Kagura and I intend to protect our home from Alvarez Empire even if it means we have to fight Tartaros too."

"Excuse me..." Kagura looked to see Jula in behind her. "I would like to talk to Jackal." Kagura was unsure but she had other matters to intend to so she accepted Jula's request and left without questioning any further.

Natsu, Lucy, Usagi, Happy, Brook, Robin, and Brandish were on their way walking together on the rural road to meet up with August. Natsu couldn't help but keep grinning about their enemy and what he could do. "August, eh? I wonder what kind of wizard he is."

Lucy was not as ecstatic as Natsu was since they were going to confront one of the strongest of the Spriggan Twelve. "Please don't do anything to test him, the point is to negotiate."

Brandish had to agree with Lucy along with giving a warning. "You'd be obliterated before you knew what hit, so, keep that in mind." Happy seemed too nervous and took Brandish's warning to heart. "The August I know is kind and warm-hearted, I believe he's the most reasonable of the Twelve."

"Quite surprising..." Brook commented.

"However, he's loyalty to his majesty, so, he'll be hard to sway," Brandish finished.

"Sounds like we must choose our words carefully." Robin thought a little concerned even though she didn't show it.

Natsu stopped walking and the others did as well, he glanced at a tree behind as he sniffed a few times, but, before he could get a word in, Usagi spoke. "Mest, Akame, you can come out now."

Natsu was stunned. "Hold on, how did you sense them behind that tree?" Usagi was glad to answer. "I used my Observation Haki to detect their presence and I assume that you used your strong sense of smell, right?" The pinkette boy nodded then he realized something. "Hold on, you can Observation Haki, that's not fair!"

Brandish caught a detail of that and was puzzled but most likely intrigued. "Observation Haki?"

Akame stepped a few inches away from the tree, she forgot that hiding her magic and aura wouldn't do any good thanks to Usagi's Observation of Haki and Natsu's sense of smell. Mest peeked out, keeping his distance. "What do you expect, I can't believe you put your trust in this girl!"

Natsu didn't have a problem with what he was doing. "Just get over it, it's not like she's a bad person."

Brook had to agree. "I agree, an opportunity like this doesn't happen very often." He walked over to Brandish and bowed to her in front of her before lifting his head. "Also, m'lady, would you do the honor of-"

Lucy karate-chopped the skeleton on the head. "Don't even think about it, pervert!"

Mest ignored the awkward comedy routine and continued with his opinion. "Did you have to take off her magic seal stone, she's still our prisoner!"

Natsu just smiled casually. "Don't worry about the details."

Mest got irritated at the fire dragon slayer's carefree attitude. "Natsu, is there anything going in that spiky head of yours!?" He turned to Akame. "Akame, help me out here!"

"Mest..." Everyone looked at Robin including Mest. "We understand your concern, but, this isn't time to worry, we got here and we're going to see this through, so, just be calm."

"She's right," Usagi spoke. "We'll cross that bridge if anything goes wrong, however, in the meantime, we need to go along with this whether we like it or not."

Mest groaned knowing that he wasn't going to convince his team otherwise so he didn't argue any further.

While that was going on, Akame wondered something about what the other group was doing. "What I want to know if we need to walk the entire way?"

"I ain't getting a vehicle!" Natsu declared.

"And I can only carry one person at a time," Happy pointed out.

Since Natsu was not a fan of transportation and Happy can only carry one person, Brandish thought of a solution to all their problems. "I know what we can do." She snapped her fingers and drastically increased Happy's size becoming a giant cat. "AYE!"

Naturally, Lucy freaked out while Natsu was very impressed. Akame was in awe of Happy's sudden giant size. Brook had a gaping mouth, Robin had her usual emotionless expression, and Usagi was stunned at the cat's giant form. "He's ginormous!"

"Alright, that's awesome!"

"My eyes are popping out, but, wait I don't have eyes...Yohohohohoh!"

"So, I take it we'll be riding Happy's back."

Brandish smirked as now their problems were solved. "It seems we can ride..." And she hugged Happy's leg while having a strange, happy expression on her face. "On this big ball of fluff!"

Lucy wasn't prepared to see this change of demeanor from a person like Brandish. "Is she making a cutesy face?"

Seeing Happy being turned big gave Natsu an idea of his own. "Whoa, hey lady, can you turn me big too?"

Robin's cheeks were flushed. "Is...Happy really that fluffy?" The only one not impressed by this was Mest as he was still cautious.

Happy suddenly picked up Lucy with his paw which surprised her and took quite a liking to his newfound size. "Wow, I feel so freaking cool, right now you guys!"

Natsu laughed in agreement. "Yeah man, that is cool!"

Lucy started to wave her arms while freaking out again. "Please put me down, I'm terrified!"

B

In the Fairy Tail guild basement, Cana was heavily out of breath as she was on her hands and knees while Mavis was badly damaged. Even so, Mavis knew it'd make more than this for the first time phase of her plan to work. "Cana, come on, get serious and hit me with all you got."

Cana raised her head and still had doubts about using her full power on the 1st guild master. "I...I can't just attack you. I know you're a projection, but still..."

Mavis looked at Cana with gentle eyes and was reminded of someone she once knew a long time ago. "You know, you're a lot alike my best friend, she had brown hair like you."

Cana felt like she was somehow insulted by her 1st master's comment. "You think that makes us a lot alike!"

Despite her remark, Mavis continued remembering the images of her friend. "She passed away back on the island I was born on and she was a little girl too. Her spirit kept giving me the strength to move on. If she lived, she might've grown up to be like you too." Cana was a little intrigued by that last sentence. "Oh yeah?"

Mavis visioned her lost friend growing up while holding a barrel of booze and getting drunk. She suddenly had second thoughts on that theory. "Actually, forget I said that."

Cana felt insulted by that comment now. "Damn, that's so rude!"

Mavis placed her hand where her heart was and had a smile on her. "Zera is in my heart, so even to this day she's within. Not in my projection but within my real heart." She looked directly at Cana with her eyes full of resolve. "Cana, we both need your help. You're the only one that can free Zera and me from this crystal coffin. You're not attacking someone but using your power to save someone."

Back in the north, the battlefield was starting.

Lisanna, Mirajane, and Elfman were in their beast forms overwhelming the soldiers as they could.

Strange needles were impaling the soldiers from front and back. One soldier couldn't understand what was going on. "Damn it, where is the enemy that's impaling our own with needles!"

Unbeknownst to them, one soldier wasn't acting originally. He was strangely calm under a black mask despite what was happening.

Zoro passed by cutting down more soldiers before he glanced at the soldier. "Got to admit that, your power is something." Chelsea was a little surprised to get a praise from moss head like Zoro. "Now Three Sword Style: Black Rope Dragon Twister!" He spun his swords creating a dragon-like tornado that both slashed and blew away the soldiers.

The soldiers became frightened at the swordsman's strong sword technique and the damage it was causing to their comrades.

"Who is that guy?"

"He's using three swords!"

"I don't sense magic from him, so, how is he so strong!?"

Upon hearing that, Zoro gave the soldiers a cold stare. "If you guys want to keep gawking at me, then leave, I won't waste time dealing with weaklings like you."

The soldiers took offense to that remark. "You dare mock us, you bastard!"

"Let's kill him, he's only one guy!"

Zoro smirked at the soldiers. "Like that's supposed to scare me."

About a group of forty soldiers confronted Jimbei, all were baffled by what they were seeing while others had different thoughts. "Who is that guy?"

"Is he one of Zeref's Demons?!"

"Your guess is as good as mine."

"I don't recall any of Zeref's Demons siding with humans before."

"Never mind that, kill that monster!"

Jimbei growled lowly and pulled back his right arm. "Fishman Karate: Arabesque Brick Fist!" He punched at a fair distance from the soldiers transmitting the force of the blow through the water vapor in the air and releasing a shock wave that sent about half of the soldiers flying.

"What did that monster do!?"

"He punched the air and half of our men went flying away!"

Jimbei glared at the soldiers. "You think I'm a monster? For the record, I'm Jimbei the Fishman, former a warlord of the sea and I'll protect Magnolia from bastards like you!"

Aquapad was confronted by thirty soldiers. "Another of these jerks..." He did the same stance as Jimbei did. "Fishman Karate: 5,000 Brick Fist!" He delivered a powerful punch at one of the soldiers who was sent crashing into several other soldiers. "I ain't going to let you jerks attack my new home!"

"Another of these monsters!?"

"Damn, where did Fairy Tail find these monsters!?"

Lily took out a small number of soldiers but more surrounded him. "There are so many of them!"

Gajeel had to agree. "Yeah, there is no end to these guys!" He clapped his hands together forming a giant iron sword and slammed it on the ground. "Karma Demon: Iron God Sword!" The attack tore through the ground and any enemy that found himself in the attack's path.

Off to the distance, Lector and Frosch were impressed with Gajeel, Zoro, and the others. "Gajeel's a badass as usual. Zoro loves to cut down his enemies with his swords, talk about a true swordsman. Jimbei and Aquapad are amazing with their Fishman Karate too."

"I think so too."

Meanwhile, Sting was sitting against the rock with his hands covering his face. He still felt shame that he failed as a guild master. Rogue wasn't used to seeing his friend act like this. "Come on Sting, you need to snap out of it."

His comment didn't help Sting much. "I'm supposed to be the guild master, I'm such a screw-up."

Sting then felt his arm being grabbed and pulled up. Only to be slapped across the face by a pissed-off Yukino. Everyone in Sabertooth was dumbfounded by what they just witnessed. "You are our master, when things get dark as they are you lead us out of it." Her words finally reached Sting as he looked at her. Yukino pulled back her hand back feeling guilty of what she did. "I know you're strong and of course, you said Natsu wouldn't let you live it down. We all believe in you."

Sting remembered when he said that, he then took Yukino's hand and gently took it to examine it. "I'm sorry that must've been painful."

Yukino slightly blushed that her master was holding her hand. "N-not at all, I'm the one that hit you. I'm sorry if it hurt a bit." Yukino felt bad a bit for what she did, but Sting didn't see that way. "No, haven't to do something like that because your master is pathetic is the painful part of it." He wiped his eyes with his arm as he stood up.

Minerva and Rogue smiled at the heartwarming segment. Yukino felt like she did something else wrong. "Oh, I wasn't trying to say you're pathetic, I didn't know what else to do."

Sting shook his head as he glanced at her. "Someone needed to knock some sense into me, we got to learn from this experience and grow stronger...If you can still walk..." He looked back to the battle with a strong determined look. "THEN FOLLOW ME! WE'RE TIGERS! WE'RE HUNGRY FOR A FIGHT AND IT'S BEATEN TIME!"

Blue Pegasus shared the same revolve. "Let's do this!" Hibiki declared.

Jenny was repeatedly kicking one of the Alverez soldier's faces. "You win, stop that, I wasn't gawking at your panties!"

Even and Ren were crying as they wanted to avenge Ichiya's death.

"We'll fight for Mr. Ichiya, our hero that was too young to die!"

"He's still alive you guys!" Levy pointed out.

A few Alverez soldiers were suddenly floating in the air and were blasted by explosions, compliments of Minerva. "I ragdi(Vanish)!"

Orga and Rufus smiled knowing she was back to her old self. "Those savages made our master weep, no mercy," Minerva stated which her guildmates agreed.

Rogue slashed a soldier with his shadow dragon slayer magic as he glanced at Sting. "Feeling better now, master crybaby?"

Sting knew that name would stick with him for a while. "Call me whatever you want, who cares!"

Yukino was bawling her eyes out as Rouge groaned. "Don't you start!"

From afar, Irene and her squad saw that the battle had escalated. Juliet was amazed at how quickly the enemy recovered. "Looks like the ones that were taken prisoner are feeling better now."

Heine turned to her master. "Should we join in, m'lady?"

Irene only smiled at the battlefield. "Bloodman and Larcade are drawing near, they'll-" She stopped abruptly as she sensed danger approaching.

Heine noticed her master's reaction. "M'lady, what's wrong?" Irene had an intrigued look on her face. "It seems like Zeref's toys have decided to join the battle."

"Zeref's demons are here too?" Juliet asked a little surprised. "Does that mean that they're allies?"

Heine was concerned as her squad member was. "What do you think we should do about the demons?"

Irene's smile was back on her face. "Let's watch the battle for now, Bloodman and Larcade will take care of them if they need to."

Chelsea saw how well their allies were doing now. "I have to admit they're stronger than I thought." She was continuing to pick off soldiers one by one from within. It was certainly the better option than just taking them all head-on at once. She may have magic but she was nothing like the ones that are such powerhouses. Something else far greater bothered her and scared her to no end. "I've been sensing it for a while now and I still can't believe it's real. There are three impossibly huge auras around this mountain. One of them feels so strange like it's not even human. The second one is even weirder because...there's no way. It can't be possible for someone to have the same aura. And the third one..." She looked off the distance where Irene was. "This one is the strongest out of the three and what's more terrifying is that it blankets the entire mountain. Maybe even bound that, Akame and Leone were right about the Spriggan Twelve, there is nothing like Esdeath's, they probably rivalry the navy." She began to wonder if their power is equal to the Four Emperors of the New World, though, she didn't want to think about that.

She suddenly felt two new auras approaching. "Oh no..." She looked over to her where she was feeling the two auras. "I have to warn the others!"

As the battle ramped up, random guild members started to encounter a strange black mist and coughed up blood before falling to the ground. Everyone knew what this meant and ran away in terror. "It's the Grim Reaper!"

"Run!"

"The Grim Reaper is coming back!"

Goliath appeared in front of some random wizards. "Looks like I get to crush you humans." He summoned out multiple sharp stone edges. "Stone Curse: Stone Edge!" The sharp stone edges went sent flying toward the wizards some were nearly crushed while the strong shockwaves from the stones send some flying away.

"Damn, is that another enemy!" A guild member questioned in fright.

"Sting told us that Tartaros is still lurking around, this must be one of them!"

"Stone Curse: Stone Throw!" He put his hands together and created large round stones out of his palms and threw them that landed hard on the ground causing several wizards to fall over and they were knocked out.

"Time for all of you to be buried under the stones!" Goliath declared loudly as he put his arms up. "Stone Curse: Rock Storm!" Even more multiple stones appeared above the air and send down at some remaining wizards, who all stared in horror as they were about to be crushed and buried under massive stones.

Suddenly out of nowhere, a dragon-like twister stopped the falling stones and was cut into several parts. "Geez, it's about time you demons showed up." There stood Zoro. "It's Zoro!" The pirate swordsman glanced at the wizards. "Get away, you'll just get in the way." They didn't need to be told twice.

"Looks like we got some prey here," Aquaius appeared in new human form, her hairstyle was a greenish hair color that reached her lower back. Her eyes were bright green and in her mouth were rows of sharp teeth. "Time for you all to die."

"Crap, is she another demon!?"

"Yes, I'm Aquaius, the Demon Siren, I'm here to make you pay for destroying Tartaros and ruining our plan to destroy magic!" She quickly vanished using the Shave Technique. "Finger Pistol!" She pointed her finger into a male wizard's torso making the man cough out blood and knelt down while placing his hand over the small in his chest.

"I'm not done!" A large torrent of water flooded the area. "Aqua Curse: Torrent Flood!"

"Crap, it's a torrent!"

"Yes, but, it doesn't look like a normal torrent!" Soon everyone nearby was caught in the torrent. "Damn, this water is strong!"

"It's like we're in a storm that happening outside the ocean!"

"The water doesn't feel right either!"

Jimbei came to the rescue by riding a water shape-like whale shark. "Fishman Karate: Spear Wave!" He heaved a spear-shaped burst of water and threw it toward the demon siren. This of course made the large torrent of water disappear.

Jimbei landed in front of the wizards. "Who is that?"

"A large fish guy."

"He just saved our lives."

Jimbei glanced at the wizards. "You guys alright?" The wizards nodded firmly. "Good, now, leave and assist any injured ones." The wizards nodded and bowed in gratitude before they retreated.

"I'm here too!" Aquapad joined in the fight. "She needs to pay for what she tried to do to Fishman Island." Jimbei had other ideas. "Aquapad, go assist Fairy Tail!"

Aquapad was a little surprised. "Jimbei, are you sure?"

Jimbei grinned. "Surely you must have faith in me, I'm a former warlord and for you, a member of Fairy Tail shall assist his friends." The Marlin Fishman thought this is over for a mere minute and nodded leaving the area to assist his guildmates.

The dark mist started to blow away as Bloodman appeared to deliver death yet again terrifying everyone that was nearby. However, he was suddenly impaled by iron poles and another followed up by several more pinning him against a tree.

The other guild members were stunned. "No way."

Gajeel remembered how he crucified a heavily injured, Jet, Droy, and Levy to a tree as a message for Fairy Tail back then. "How do you like being crucified?" He gave Bloodman a furious glare. "For me, this is just bringing up bad memories."

He heard a nefariously deep and gravelly laugh from Bloodman and he stared back at the iron dragon slayer. "Better of what your future holds." He slowly transformed into the same black mist which brought the many guild members down before. "You've touched death!" Gajeel felt his throat suddenly grabbed tightly as Bloodman returned his body to normal. "There will be reprieve and no escape!"

Gajeel struggled a little he wasn't helpless. "Is that so?" He grabbed Bloodman by his neck tightly this time which seemingly surprised the Grim Reaper. Gajeel turned his skin to his traditional iron dragon scales. "Which means this happens to be my lucky day!" Gajeel slammed his iron head against Bloodman's which caused him to release his grip Gajeel. His skin went back to normal. "Because I was sick of looking for a place to die."

Over to Irene's squadron, she continued to look over the battlefield. "Heine, Juliet, I want you at the front lines."

Heine nodded at her superior without a second thought. "Yes ma'am!"

Juliet, however, wasn't understanding Irene's order. "Why, did you say Bloodman and Larcade will handle them, also, what about the demons?"

Heine scowed at her teammate. "Show some respect, when our lady gives us an order, we follow it, idiot!"

Irene had a very good reason as to why she was ordering her two subordinates to join the battle. "A third party will be joining the battle."

Heine turned her head to her leader. "A third party?"

"Yes," Heine replied. "The horses and tigers, those were our first guests, the fairies are today's second guests and this third might be a problem."

As Irene predicted, a heavy mechanical foot dug into the ground and belonged to a familiar winged building with a cannon on top. "Here we are, The moving Temple, Olympia has arrived, we're Crime Socrecre..." Sorano/Angel was more than excited for the battle that she and her team will be joining, but, something about the area didn't look right. "what the hell, I thought this place was a snowy mountain?"

The other four around her didn't seem as concerned about the mountain's drastic change and one was hunched over being sick in a moving building. "I just want to be on solid ground." Cobra groaned on the verge of barfing.

On the battlefield, a strange feeling went through Yukino, and froze momentarily. Minerva saw this and was a little worried about the other girl. "Something wrong, Yukino?"

Yukino shook the feeling off and looked at Minerva. "It's nothing...don't worry about me."

Irene had one more prediction. "Another fourth guest is arriving."

Heine was surprised to hear that. "Another one!" Juliet thought this was becoming a pain. "Sounds like too many to me!"

"This guest is neither friend nor foe," Despite that, Irene smiled at the two girls. "I shall have to deal with them myself."

If their superior was going to deal with this mysterious fourth guest, Heine, and Juliet had nothing to worry about. They were aware of Irene's magic power and were confident in her abilities. "I don't know who this fourth guest is, but, they're incredibly stupid."

"Yeah, Lady Irene is a High Enchanter..." Juliet giggled at the thought. "Though, what about the demons?"

Irene already had that answer. "We'll let those two weaken the enemy's forces. Then, Larcade and Bloodman will finish them off."

Juliet and Heine liked that idea.

A giant Happy was flying over the land enjoying his newfound giant size. He wasn't the only one taking a liking to their new size. "Being big is pretty awesome, huh!?" Natsu was sitting on Happy's back with Lucy, Brandish, Mest, Akame, Brook, and Robin. Natsu's head was big by Brandish's magic. "I never felt this cool!"

Lucy was freaking out by Natsu's new head size. "Can you turn him back?" She asked Brandish, who was enjoying Happy's soft fur. "So fluffy!~"

Mest didn't say a word not liking the carefree when they were about to meet up with a powerful foe.

Brook didn't seem bothered by the changes, then he had thought. "Yohohohoho...I wonder Brandish, could you do that with one part of a person's body?"

Brandish opened her eyes while looking at Lucy, mainly her breasts, which she changed to flat and the next second, they grew much larger than she was used to them. "Oh my, those are huge!" Brook gushed as blood dripped from his skeleton nostrils.

Hearing that, Lucy delivered a punch to the skeleton's cheek. "Pervert!" Her breasts eventually returned to normal size and she immediately hugged herself while covering her breasts and leered at Brandish. "Stop playing around with people's bodies!"

Lucy proved to be much more fun to be around than Brandish thought. "I don't know, but, you are the most one to have fun with."

Natsu laughed in agreement. "Ain't she?"

Usagi didn't know whether to be impressed or weirded out, but, he didn't say a word. He had to admit, it was fun to mess around despite the increase in Lucy's chest made him a bit nervous.

Robin just giggled.

Mest was starting to get a little more annoyed than he was. "We don't have time to play these foolish games." What mostly annoyed him was that Brook was more focused on the girls instead of the danger that awaits them. He turned his attention to Akame. "Can you believe them, Akame, they-" He stopped abruptly as he suddenly noticed something strange about the former assassin and that was her eyes were widened with fear which surprised but worried him. "Hey, what's going-" He gasped in surprise as did everyone else.

They all shared the same reaction, although, Brook and Robin didn't, but they were worried about their friend's reactions. "Did you guys feel that?"

"Magic power..."

"No doubt, it's August."

"He's that strong...you got to be kidding me?"

August was below in the grassy field watching the enemies flying down towards him. Brandish already sensed his power. "That's why he's called the Wizard King."

Natsu's head suddenly became normal and smiled at the strongest Spriggan Twelve. "Oh yeah, I'm all fired up now!"

Lucy wasn't excited and had to warn Natsu yet again. "Natsu, we're to talk not to fight!"

Mest felt a strong sense of fear coursing through his body and they weren't even close to August yet. "I got a very bad feeling about this guy?"

"So, this is what high-level magic power feels like." Usagi thought looking tense.

Far from the battlefield, Irene tapped her stick-like staff and a bright, scarlet circle of light appeared to her. "Our fifth guest will be arriving at any moment we need to be prepared for them." The circle became much larger and continued to spread all around and enveloped the ground in that same scarlet glow. Countless petals began to float all around the air. "His Majesty's strategy game has come to an end. A straightforward attack would've resulted for sure but now that game board has been broken by someone that doesn't play by the rules. Black Dragon Acnologia and his wings of darkness, a black dragon where the white maiden prevailed as if seeking for revenge." Irene smirked deviously as if she had already won. "But the last laugh will be mine, I the Scarlet Maiden." As she said the title, Irene remembered something that slightly bothered her. "After all, I'm known as something else in other places as the Scarlet Despair, I wonder what name shall fit for me."

Zoro begins his fight against Goliath the demon gargoyle. "So, you're still alive after the secret hideout that you jerks had was destroyed."

Goliath chuckled. "Destroyed yes, but, thanks to Hell's Core, we had no problem." Zoro's eyebrow raised in confusion. "Huh, Hell's Corse, what kind of crap of you talking about?"

The demon gargoyle laughed again amusingly. "Guess Fairy Tail didn't tell that thanks to a special tech that Tartaros has created, we are given the ability to come back as long as Hell's Core is around."

Zoro was slightly stunned. "So, when I kill you, you'll just keep coming back."

Goliath smirked. "Yes, though, you won't be around to find out what else will happen once Tartaros makes our final move."

Zoro was getting sick of this chit-chat. "Enough, I couldn't care less of what you demons will do, no matter, I'll cut you up into pieces with my swords." He narrowed his eyes at the demon. "So, let's cut the chit-chat and fight me."

Goliath chuckled with a devilish grin. "Very well, I admit, I can't resist when I fight such good-looking men."

Zoro didn't catch that three words, but, he didn't care, though, he felt a chill go down his spine. "One Sword Style: Bird Dance!" He swung his sword creating a moon-like projectile that was going right towards Goliath.

Goliath put his hands together for a moment and placed them on the ground an orange light emerged from the ground. "Stone Curse: Stone Shield Stone Soldier!" A large soldier wielding large shields made of stone blocked the swordsman's attack but got sliced in half in the process.

"Stone Curse: Rock Storm!" Goliath put his hands up and summoned countless stones and send them downwards towards Zoro.

Zoro took out all three swords. "Three Sword Style: Black Rope Dragon Twister!" He swung his three swords creating a black dragon-like tornado that sliced all of the falling stones into four separate pieces.

Goliath raised his right arm which his hand formed into a spike club. "Stone Curse: Spike Club!" He roared deeply swinging his club at the green-haired pirate swordsman.

Zoro leaped towards the gargoyle blocking the spiked club with all of his swords. "Not bad..." Zoro commented a little. "Unfortunately, if is this all you got, then you're wasting my time."

The gargoyle demon smirked. "I admit you're quite strong for a human, not to mention handsome too."

Zoro's eyes widened in surprise. "Huh!?"

Goliath saw his chance and was able to push back a little due to Zoro's distraction.

Luckily, Zoro flipped over kicking the stone club, and landed a few feet away safely. "Crap, you distracted me, you bastard..." He cursed feeling a little irritated.

Goliath's smirk didn't leave his face. "I usually can't help it when I'm fighting when I'm up against male humans."

Zoro felt a little more weirded out as his face was burning with anger and embarrassment. "Argh! I don't know what crap you're going on about and I don't care, let's just finish this fight!"

Aquaius and Jimbei's fight was about to begin.

Jimbei stared down the demon siren with a glare. "Looks like I get the chance to make you pay for nearly destroying Fishman Island."

Aquaius gave the Fishman a playful smile. "Going to make me pay, do you say?" She giggled. "Jimbei, do you honestly think you can defeat a demon of Tartaros?"

Jimbei's glare didn't leave his face. "Yes, I intend to make you pay and that's a promise..." He also had a question. "Before, we begin, why are you and other demon here, what do you want?"

Aquaius began to move her index finger slowly while clicking her tongue. "Tsk...tsk...tsk...if you think I'll just tell what my Tartaros members are doing here, then, you're not as smart as I think you are."

Jimbei saw he wasn't getting an answer from her. "Fine, then, I'll just have defeat to you." He cracked his knuckles. "Let's do this!"

Aquaius quickly vanished before Jimbei, who was surprised. "So, she can use the Shave Technique." He focused his mind momentarily. "There you are!" He quickly turned around and caught her wrist, which she was about to use her Finger Pistol. This of course surprised the demon. "How did he catch my attack?"

Jimbei quickly swung her in the air.

Aquaius flipped herself over changing her feet from a mermaid-fish-like tail. "Aqua Curse: Mermaid Spiral Aqua Jet!" Her body was surrounded by a water torrent and lunged with a jet-like speed toward the Whaleshark Fishman.

"Fishman Karate: Sharkskin Palm Thrust!" His palm and Aquaius' attack collided as they struggled to push one of the others away. Neither was given an inch.

Their attacks caused an explosion and smoke that covered where they were standing.

Jimbei's feet skidded against the ground which was still soaked wet from the flood that the demon siren's attack. Aquaius landed a few inches away just as her humanoid-like feet returned and she looked in Jimbei's direction. "I have to admit you're stronger than I thought."

Jimbei didn't feel flattered. "Flattery won't make me stop from defeating you." Aquaius had to agree. "For once, I agree, anyone that's is an ally of Fairy Tail is our enemy too." She was given off an evil energy. "Once I kill you, that'll draw your future captain to me and I'll kill him too."

Jimbei gave the demon a wide grin. "Kill Luffy...no way..." That made the demon tilt her head in confusion. "Luffy is the man that won't go down so easily, he might not be so bright but he'll protect his crew as well as those he calls his friends."

Aquaius just giggled amusingly. "Is that so, then, I'll prove you wrong by killing you first!" The dark energy that was given off was getting stronger and more sinister.

Gajeel's fight against Bloodman was starting as their fists collided with one another. However, Bloodman was confident in their powers that this fight would end soon. "My Ban Particles doom anyone that inhales them. Soon, you'll feel the sensation of your organs liquefying!"

Gajeel wasn't worried about that kind of thing happening to him. "Yeah, I don't think so since my lungs are made of iron!"

Bloodman gladly welcome the fact and excited him further. "Excellent news!" He extended his arm by stretching out via that black mist. but, Gajeel managed to jump out of the way in time. "It's been too long since I faced a challenging opponent!"

Gajeel flipped his body around and kicked with his left leg thus transforming into iron to extend it. "Iron Dragon's Spear!" His attack managed to reach Bloodman, but it went through him instead with no sign of damage. The iron dragon slayer was surprised his attack didn't do a thing to him.

To make it worse, that black mist was still a danger to others. "My body is made of Bane Particles, so touching me seals your fate!" The mist became thicker and countless skulls appeared all around. Gajeel then found himself surrounded by Bloodman's Bane Particles and large piles of skulls surrounding him. "I AM A GOD OF DEATH, DRAGGING ALL I FACE INTO THE UNDERWORLD!" Gajeel screamed in agony and his allies were infected by the Bane Particles. "You may be unaffected but what about those that don't have your gift?"

Gajeel hated to admit it, but his enemy was right. If they get stuck too long, they'll eventually die. "Everyone, getaway, right now!" Don't come near him!" He urgently warned them before crashing to the ground littered with skulls.

As things are now, Bloodman had a full terrain advantage over Gajeel. "My Legion will consume your soul!"

Gajeel could hardly move in the pile of skulls. "These skulls...damn it."

"Solid Script: Shine!"

Levy suddenly appeared before Gajeel with the word Shine in front and its light eradicated the skulls surrounding them. "This caught Bloodman off guard and didn't expect his magic to be extinguished this easily. "What's this, holy magic?!"

The light faded away and Gajeel didn't expect Levy to join in the fight. "What the..."

"I'm not going to leave you!"

"Levy!" Gajeel shouted at his guildmate. "You gotta go!"

Levy turned around and showed a Solid Script Mask. Gajeel thought that was smart. "Oh, good thinking."

Levy narrowed her eyes at the iron dragon slayer. "I don't ever want to hear you're looking for someplace to die!"

Gajeel didn't think she'd take what he said so seriously. "That was just fight talk, I was trying to sound cool and intimidating." He saw the look that Levy was giving him. "What's with that look, I didn't mean it."

Whether he didn't mean it or not, what Gajeel said before bothered her greatly. "This is serious, your life is important to me, you can't die! So watch what you say." Gajeel didn't know how to respond to what Levy was saying to him.

Meanwhile, not too far from them, Bloodman's hood was removed and revealed his demonic-looking face. "Those that oppose can't escape death! I'll drag your souls to the gates of hell! For I am death and this promise of life you cling to will be broken without any mercy!"

In the western, where Zeref's army was. He was feeling the ground and felt somewhat of a change of energy within. "What is this, the magic energy of this land has changed." He knew what Spriggan Twelve member was responsible for this. "Irene, just what are you planning to do?"
