After SkekMal's life threatening injuries, the Skeksis remaining in the castle respected the girl even more. She had known what she was talking about. Her language had been easier to understand than Tek's. Tek often had a talent for speaking high tech big words, but rather highly confusing words that only scientists would likely know how to interpret. Not even the girl could understand everything he said, but she did try to understand at least.
The work saving the Hunter had dragged the girl down afterwards. She had been working hard these days. Then it dawned on her; when was the last time she had taken a vacation?
She went to Sil to talk to him about having a break from all the castle rush. They hadn't spent time alone in quite a while, not counting their nights together.
"Now that Human mentions it, work has been feeling dull lately. Yes. Human is right. Could use break from work." Sil agreed with his mate. "But must be cleared with Emperor first."
"Of course." She said. "But what about Kinala? She should come too. She is our daughter after all. All families deserve time together."
Sil would have preferred just him and his mate to go off on this vacation. Though he wondered where they would have their vacation too. But yes, Kinala deserved to see more of their world beyond the castle too.
"Where is Human wanting to go for break?" Sil asked curiously.
"Which Gelfling clan stays closest to the sea?" she asked.
"Sifa."
"Well, maybe we could visit the Sifa Clan. Have some time on the beach. Kinala could learn from them, and we could also have some alone time." The human smirked and snuggled with her mate.
"Would be good idea." Sil agreed.
...
The next day, the two of them approached the emperor with what they had in mind. Sil let his mate talk first.
"Good morning, Great Emperor." She began.
"Yes, Human?" SkekSo greeted in return.
"Sire, I have a favor to ask." She stated.
"Which is what?"
"Could the Chamberlain, Kinala, and I take a trip to the Sifa Clan area for a family outing?" she asked him generously.
The emperor glanced at SkekSil. "Is this true, Chamberlain? That you want an outing?" he asked.
"Yes, my sire. A break from castle duties for some days ahead." Sil answered. "Break is much needed."
"And you are wanting to take your Gelfling daughter with you?" So asked.
"Yes."
So thought about it. Perhaps it would do his advisor some good to leave the castle for a while. But someone else would have to take his place temporarily while Sil was gone. But the next best one was Zok.
"Very well. You may have your break, Chamberlain and Human." So proclaimed.
"Thank you so much, Sire." The girl replied with a bow of respect.
They later talked to Kinala that they were going to go to the Sifa Clan home and spend some days there. Kinala turned excited. She wanted to know more about the sea faring ones of her kind too.
Even though Kinala was a messenger a lot around the castle right now, the other Gelflings in the castle could take up the cause until she returned. Or a fellow Skeksis.
Zok was talked to and he was more than willing to take over Sil's job. It would just be for a week.
Supplies were packed and there were even some guards coming along with them. There were three guards that would accompany them.
Sil, Kinala, and the girl all got in the carriage they were to use and took off for Cera-Na. Riding in this carriage sure beat a lot of walking.
The human had sensed there had been something going on with her daughter, not just her. Something that made them restless. This was a good idea to just get away for a while.
When they arrived at Cera-Na, they greeted the clan and told them why there were there. Kinala was to stay with them while her parents went off have their own dinner and time together. The Sifa were pleased to have one of their lords here, one that wasn't the Mariner for the time being.
The Mariner, or SkekSa, was out at sea with some other Sifas.
Sil and his wife were given their own tent to spend their time. They were given some food to have, and they ate it. The girl then wanted to have a walk on the beach with just her mate. Sil was glad to oblige. He ordered the guards to stand watch over the camp and Kinala while they were doing their own personal doings.
The girl took her shoes off and enjoyed walking barefoot in the sand. She even raised her robe and put her feet in the water.
"What is Human doing?" Sil asked curiously.
"What good is standing on a beach if you can't feel the sand in your toes and water over them too? It's been ages since I've been on a beach." She explained.
"Hmmm, Sil sees point. But never consider it." Sil replied.
"Can you swim?" she asked.
"Yes, if needed. Not big fan of it." He stated.
"You don't mind baths, right?"
"No."
"Well, why can't we go swimming tomorrow? It's really fun with the right company. I can see why it's not fun when you're alone or not with the right company." The human explained.
"Just said not fond of it."
"Please? Do it for me. Just try it this one time and if you don't find the fun in it, I won't ask again." She tried to persuade him. "And it's also good for you. I know you have pain in your back sometimes. The water takes the weight off your body. It's good exercise too."
"Okay. Just this once." Chamberlain gave in. The things he did for her. But then, this is what lovers did sometimes; giving in to a lover's wish to make them happy.
"Thank you, Sil." She came up and kissed him.
"What Human want, you get." He replied, smiling.
They walked further down the beach as the suns were setting. It started to get dark as they turned to go back to their tent for the night. The girl still couldn't resist standing in the water a few times. It was also pretty to watch the sunsets. The sky sure got beautiful.
"I love watching sunsets." She smiled.
"Yes. Pretty colors." Sil stated, looking at the sky's colors. He hadn't really noticed them in a long time. His girl sure helped him see things in a new light at times. He was glad she had chosen him all that time ago. It was amazing how they still cared for one another even after fifteen trines.
As the tide was coming in, the girl got a bit playful with the water and splashed at Sil. "Hey!" He shrieked in surprise.
"Gotcha!" she laughed. "I'm just playing."
"Oh really? Not forgetting this." Sil grinned slyly. He shook his head to get the water off. His wife took off down the beach giggling. "Get back here!" He called back and took off after her. He made sure to get his robes out of the way so he could run to keep up with her.
Seeing Sil running wasn't something to see often. He caught up with her back at the tent. She was still laughing hard. "Okay, okay, slow down." She put her hands up in surrender.
Sil pulled up. He was breathing harder from running but so was she. "We can have this fun in swimming tomorrow." She said.
"Not going to happen just then." Sil smirked playfully. She turned and he grabbed her up and pulled her to the bed. He pushed her down onto her back and held her arms down.
At first, it seemed to alarm her, but she tried to remain calm. Was he going to hurt her or being playful too? Then he giggled at her and licked her face. But he pulled her robes up and began to get dirty with her. "You want fun? Chamberlain want fun too." He growled playfully.
His first member went into her, and he started having fun with her that way too. She moaned as he had his fun with her. They were both still fully robed, but he was getting her back at the moment. But after the first round, they both began to disrobe. But Sil wasn't letting her go to sleep until he had the full three rounds on her.
The girl was covered in sweat and was exhausted by the time her mate got done with her. She also had new claw and teeth marks on her. Sil rolled off of her after he was finished. "How does that make Human feel?" Sil asked.
"Good. Exhausting but extremely good." She replied.
"Good." He proclaimed. She fell asleep next to him shortly after that.
...
The next day, after seeing how Kinala was doing and having breakfast, the couple then went swimming. They wouldn't go out too far. But they went to a private spot. They disrobed and were naked. Then they went into the water to have their fun.
Sil felt some relief when the water took the weight off his feet as he began to swim about. He saw that his wife went under the water and got her hair wet too, making it darken. He wasn't much for going under the water. His own hair was also wet.
At one point, he was walking on the balls of his feet in the water, and he felt something tug on his tail. It made him yelp in surprise. He jerked his tail away, not wanting some animal making a meal of it. But, to his shock, it was his wife, playing around again.
She came up for air. "You really are not used to such games, are you?" She asked.
"No. Am not." Sil confessed.
"Mating can also be done here in the water. Have you ever tried it?" she asked.
"No."
"Never too late to try." She encouraged. She was being too playful for her own good that was getting him aroused.
"Hmm. Would like to try it." He began approaching her. He got a hold of her and pulled her close. This time, she guided him in what to do.
Soon, he was inside her again, holding her, but he wasn't holding her totally, letting the water support more of her weight too. Mating in the water wasn't like making love in a bed. It took a while to reach the finish.
Sil was liking this. After mating, there was more swimming and playing around. The human even splashed at him some more, and he even did likewise. It did get him laughing in enjoyment.
When they were finally ready to get out, they crawled onto the beach near their clothes. Their bodies felt a little heavy. It made them fall onto the sand and lay there.
"See how fun it could be?" she asked him.
"Hmmm. Yes. Human had point. Is fun in right company." The Chamberlain agreed. She definitely made him feel happier.
They soon got up and got the sand off their bodies save their feet before redressing and returning to the tents. They both rested for a while because their swimming had taken it out of them, but they reawakened in the afternoon for lunch and some work that the Sifa had for them.
That night, there were some songs sung and seafood given. Kinala was sitting by her mom watching and listening to the songs. Sil sat by them too. His heart felt enlightened enough at this moment.
The girl found the seafood interesting. It tasted not that different than what it was on Earth. Of course, it was cooked, and there were some fruit and vegetables given to her too. Kinala also enjoyed the food. Sil enjoyed some squid-like creature for his dinner.
When the music got to where there was some dancing allowed, the Sifa were interested in seeing what the human could do with dancing. She was nervous on that part.
"Come on, Mom. Show them some human dancing." Kinala pleaded.
"Alright." She agreed. She looked at her husband. He nodded but didn't move. "Do what showed me." He said.
The human had the music play first and then she just moved her body to the beat of the music in fast style. The Gelflings were in awe of how she danced what she remembered how to do. As for Sil, her bodily movements were amazing to him that he never saw in Gelflings.
But after one dance, she was ready to call it quits. "That was fun, but it took everything out of me." She panted.
"But you had fun, right, Mom?" Kinala asked.
"Yes. It was fun."
Some of the Sifa went on to mimic it but were not as good. Soon though, it was time for bed again. It had been a long but fun day. Kinala slept in her parents' tent tonight. Sil and the human had had their mating fun earlier in the day, but the human still snuggled into her mate. Kinala had her own bed across from them. Tomorrow was another day.
Definitely wanted them to have a vacation together as a family, and Sil and his girl to have fun as a couple.
