Ganaji blinked, trying to make sense of the situation as he slowly regained consciousness. His head throbbed from the attack that had left him unconscious for what seemed like an eternity.
"Who is it? They attacked me!" Ganaji called out, still disoriented. "I have to warn Kali!"
"Kali?! Kali!!" Ganaji's voice echoed, but there was no response.
Ruudhi appeared before him, his expression solemn. "Kali is gone," he said softly. "He is dead."
"What the hell happened? How long was I unconscious?" Ganaji asked, trying to piece together the events that led to this tragedy.
"Long enough to miss his death," Ruudhi replied
"But I swore loyalty to him! This is unacceptable!" Ganaji's voice trembled with irritation
"You can still honor him by helping us," Ruudhi offered. "We will need all the help we can get to restore the Umojelands back to its former glory before the empire. My brother did a good deed that helped both kingdoms. You can continue his legacy by helping me."
"... Well, I have nothing to come back to anyway," Ganaji said. "I'll join you."
