MOUNT JUSTICE

"Recognize Supergirl, B-05." The sound of a female romantic voice alerted everyone in the Cave's main assembly area that Supergirl had just Zeta beamed back to Mount Justice. The young clone was enjoying a soft serve cone of vanilla ice cream with a spoon as the light from the Zeta Tube behind her lit up again.
"Recognize Naruto B-00" Naruto emerged right behind Supergirl working on his own ice cream cone as he licked and scooped his dessert while greeting the rest of his team. "Hey guys, we're back!"
Some of the members of the team were passing the time by playing a game of holographic air hockey on top of the holographic tiled ring that sat in the middle of the Cave's atrium, while the others watched. Aqualad the first knight of the Atlantean army and right hand to King Orin as well as the team's leader looked over at the two just as a holographic puck entered his unguarded goal line.
Looking back at his opponent Robin the Boy Wonder and ward to the Dark Knight of Gotham had a smug look of triumph as the scoreboard had just slid into his favor.
Miss Martian, the native daughter of Earth's planetary sibling of Mars turned to both Naruto and Supergirl as she cheerfully greeted the two ice cream munchers. "How was Metropolis?"
Supergirl stoic as usual said nothing as the two walked over towards their teammates, as Supergirl rather intentionally walked through the holographic table game thereby switching it off. The clone stopped in front of the Martian girl and said with an irritated tone, "I don't want to talk about it," before heading out off of the atrium's ring.
Naruto walked next to Miss Martian as he held his plastic spoon in his mouth while chewing on the utensil.
"What happened?" M'gann asked as she kept her sights on the retreating Girl of Steel. "Did you two meet up with Superman?"
"Oh, we met up with Uncle Kal alright," Naruto stated as he shoveled a decent amount of his twirled flavors of chocolate and vanilla. "It's just I don't think Supergirl and Uncle Kal are going to spend any quality time together…man this is good ice cream though!"
Darting her eyes towards Naruto's snack, M'gann couldn't help but look back at the warped reflection of herself in the creamy goodness as she licked her lips in hunger.
As he swallowed down a lump of his ice cream Naruto saw the look in M'gann's eyes as he playfully ducked the ice cream cone behind his back. "Get your own!"
M'gann saw the mischievous wink in Naruto's foxy eyes and decided to play along, mostly in the hopes of sampling a little of the melting creamy goodness. "Oh, please Naruto, just one bite!" M'gann pleaded as she used her shapeshifting to stretch and bend her arm in hopes of getting at some of the cone.
Supergirl had stopped dead in her tracks just a few feet away from the entrance to the Cave's living room area when she turned around and saw Naruto and M'gann playing around. She watched as Naruto ran around the atrium while M'gann gave chase by levitating off the ground. Naruto had used Aqualad's tall and sturdy frame as an Atlantean shield as M'gann tried to pursue him around their leader.
The clone girl was so enthralled in watching Naruto and M'gann's horseplay that she didn't notice a yellow blur rushing by her or that someone was standing right beside her. Kid Flash or Wally as he liked to be called in his off hours was a young man around Naruto's age. As the ninja fox had spiky blond hair, Wally was a spiky-headed ginger. Like the rest of the team, he was dressed in his mission gear of a mostly yellow with some red plated body suit that had the Flash's logo on Wally's chest.
"You know Superbabe if you ever want to go on another little field trip again, I'd be happy to show you around Central City," Kid Flash said as he referred to Supergirl by the little nickname he had for the cloned weapon ever since meeting her. Supergirl's lack of verbal confirmation that she hated it and just responding to the young speedster with a look of irritated annoyance went over his head as Kid Flash went on to say…
"I know all the best hangouts!" Kid said as he used his speed to zip over towards Supergirl's other side.
"We could catch a movie," Wally zipped again this time to the kitchen and back as he held a bucket of popcorn.
"I could take you to a show," like the wind Kid Flash was with another prop as he slid on one knee while kneeling in front of Supergirl with a rose between his teeth.
"Or we could just get a bite to eat something classier than just soft serve," Kid Flash was now standing next to Supergirl again as he without warning leaned over and took a lick of the cool sweet-tasting treat. "Wow, but this is pretty good though."
Looking back at Naruto and M'gann Supergirl got a glimpse of the spiky-headed blond using his spoon to scoop up some more of his ice cream as he finally caved in and offered some to M'gann by spoon-feeding the Martian himself.
As Naruto gently stretched his arm and guided the ice cream into M'gann's mouth, Supergirl used her microscopic vision to zoom in and see the spoon just as it brushed passed M'gann's emerald lips. As the Martian girl used her tongue to lick a few droplets off the plastic utensils and her lower face Supergirl angrily gripped her cone a bit tighter making the waffle-like material crack a bit from the added pressure.
Looking down in her hand to see her own violated ice cream Supergirl looked back at Wally, who gave her a flirtatious eyebrow raise and a finger gun pose, as she looked back at her cone before she looked back at Kid Flash one more time while smearing the top layer of her cone all over the speedster's face.
To his credit, Kid Flash didn't speed out of the way or even dodged the assault. No, he took it like a grinning champ as he stood still while Supergirl smeared her whole top layer of ice cream until she was down to what was left in her waffle cone.
Still holding his hand out and finger gun pointing at Supergirl for a couple of seconds Wally whipped the ice cream from his eyes and threw the excess of ice cream off his gloves as well by shaking it off to the ground. Using his mouth to eat away any ice cream that landed on his mouth Wally didn't take the hint as he asked, "Or you know maybe we can skip dessert?" albeit with less energy than before.
The sound of someone clearing their throat echoed in the atrium as everyone was still standing in the holographic projecting ring, including Supergirl and Kid Flash who were still standing on the edge of it turned toward two older heroes approaching them.
"Ready for training everyone?" Black Canary, the songbird of the Justice League and the Team's designated trainer was walking towards the young heroes along with her teammate J'onn J'onzz the Martian Manhunter.
M'gann excitingly flew towards the two older heroes as she greeted her uncle with a hug while calling out his name.
"M'gann I was in the neighborhood, so I thought I'd see how you are adjusting." The normally stoic Marian spoke with a bit of hesitation as J'onn wasn't really accustomed to greeting his family members all that often and being a guardian to one of them was a completely foreign experience to him.
His young niece however didn't spot his awkwardness as she happily replied, "There've been a few bumps here and there but I'm learning!"
Seeing the two Martians exchanging pleasantries was the final straw for the way word Supergirl as she let out an annoyed grunt and was about to exit the atrium until a voice of authority stopped the young Kyriptioan.
"Stick around," Canary said as the long-haired blond hero began walking toward the center of the holographic ring. Its floor tiles lit up and sent out a circular wave of light from where Canary was standing to all the way towards the edges of the ring where Supergirl was the only one standing out of.
"I consider it an honor to be your teacher," the slightly older hero said as she began to strip off her tattered blue jacket, a noticeable hole in her upper bicep caught Naruto's attention as he tried to finish his ice cream before training started. "I'll throw a lot at you, from what I learned from my own mentors…"
Canary paused momentarily to let out a small moan of pain as she got her jacket off her shoulders showing that the bicep under the hole on her jacket had a fresh white bandage wrapped around it.
"…and my own bruises," Canary managed to finish saying with a small smile as she rubbed her injury while casually tossing her jacket on the ground.
"What happened?" a worried M'gann asked as Naruto began walking towards Black Canary.
Canary looked back with a look of seriousness as she answered M'gann honestly by saying, "The job." As she then addressed the approaching Naruto, taken a bit by surprise as she hadn't gotten to the part about sparing yet.
"Yes?" she asked the spiky-haired blond boy as he looked back at her injury with concern.
"If you want Sensei, I can try to heal your arm a little, so it won't hurt as much," Naruto stated as he used his spoon to point over at Canary's injury.
Rubbing her arm again, Canary thought for a second before she smiled back at Naruto and nodded her head. "I didn't know that Lord Minato had taught you any healing spells before he was summoned to Gem World." Taking her hand off her arm she gently held her injured arm out and said, "But if you think you can help fix my busted wing, you're more than welcome to."
"It's a jutsu Sensei, not a spell there's a difference!"
Naruto was about to form the necessary seals to get the jutsu started but found one of his hands a bit too occupied to begin. Looking back and forth between his ice cream cone and Black Canary's good arm he offered his ice cream cone to his new teacher to hold who accepted it with a smile.
As Naruto used his free hands to form a couple of hand seals, A faint glow of green energy wisped out of his fingertips to his whole hands. With his fingers finding their way to Black Canary's injured bicep Naruto gently placed his hands on top of her medical dressings.
The healing jutsu didn't hurt but the sensation of Naruto's energy interacting with her body made Canary let out a small yet somewhat chaste moan, the kind one would let escape their lips after sipping on a cool drink on a hot summer day.
Unfortunately for Naruto's inexperienced ears, the young man couldn't tell the difference and confused it for a more sensual gasp. The heat coming off his cheeks was so intense that If by that or from the glow of his healing palms the ice cream cone that Black Canary was holding for him started to melt.
And while Naruto concentrated on the task his hand his mind had begun to wonder which when doing this jutsu was a very bad idea. As the aura of the healing jutsu shifted in color from green to a pinkish purple something only a certain lady Kryptonian noticed as a flash of the same pinkish purple light shined through Black Canary's blue eyes.

Six Years ago
While to the outside world the mountain bearing the heads of four previous presidents of the United States of America, the head bearing the visage of Teddy Rosevelt had been hallowed out and reinforced by the occupant inside the secret base home.
Minato was in the library of his hidden home located in President Rosevelt's lower jaw. Wearing a long white coat with flames at the end of the hem and standing over the library table as he looked down at Naruto seated on the next side over on the table Minatio's hands glowed in a familiar green as he placed them in a long open box with an injured rabbit inside.
The animal had cried out a series of high-pitched squeals before calming down a bit as its mangled leg, most likely the result of a snare trap was slowly regenerating and setting itself back into place from Minato's aura.
"You see Naruto in exchange for not being adverse to advanced medical knowledge and experience chakra control the seals do most of the work while requiring a third more chakra to be used than this technique would normally require!"
Stopping the procedure, the older slightly longer spiky-haired blond saw the broad expression on his son's face as he got the young boy's attention by dope slapping upside the head…but lightly.
"Pay attention!"
The light tap of tough love took Naruto by surprise as he scrambled around his chair before jumping off of it and giving his father a salute along with a, "yes sir!" before he blankly stared back at his father in confusion. "Ah, what were you showing me again?"
Sighing in frustration as he rubbed his weary brow the age-old magical fox then ran his open hand over his face in hopes of mustering the strength to teach his ne'er-do-well offspring a thing or two to help make him a better man in the future.
"Look if you know the right seals and pump the right amount of chakra you should be fine even with your terrible level of control with enough practice you should have no problem in assisting injured humans or friends during or after battles." Minato stated sternly as he leaned over towards Naruto, "do you understand?"
"Yeah, yeah I got it," Naruto waved off as he placed his hands behind his head and rolled his eyes to the side. "When are you going to teach me something useful like the Tailed Beast Bomb or Chakra Arm Claws?"
"When you've at least gotten a handling of the basics!"
Minato sighed again trying to calm himself down and really wishing that Naruto's human mother had this much difficulty teaching Naruto during his days with her as Minato did.
Seeing that said son's short attention span had gone full circle back towards the rabbit in the box Minato seized the opportunity to fill his son in on the downside of this jutsu. "Now listen Naruto the most important thing about this jutsu is to keep your mind clear and neutral you can't be emotional or even think about other feelings while doing this justu or…"
Having concluded that Naruto was more of a visual learner, Minato decided to just show Naruto instead. Doing the hand seals for the healing jutsu again Minato raised his glowing hands over the injured rabbit and said, "Ok now I know that this might seem strange, but I need you to make me angry."
"What, why?" Naruto asked with a raised brow wondering if this was some kind of weird parental trick to get him grounded.
"Because I need to show you why you can't do this technique while being emotional now just do or say something that will get me mad."
Now while the young fox wasn't exactly academically gifted, he wasn't exactly stone-cold stupid either as he asked his father. "And if I do you promise you won't get mad?"
"No, I will get mad," Minato stated evenly as he panned his eyes from the bunny to his boy. "That's the point but I promise that I won't use it against you or anything."
"So full immunity from any punishment or groundings, right?"
"This one time yes now just do it anything that you think will upset me or make me angry."
Naruto placed his hand under his chin as he tried to come up with a good sure-fire way that would make Minato lose his mind in rage as a light bulb flashed in his head. "Oh yeah since you're going to probably find out anyway, I guess this is a good time to tell you that I stole something."
"You stole something?" Minato mirrored back before asking, "What did you steal candy, a comic book?"
Naruto shook his head before reaching into his pocket and placing an item on the library table next to the box with Minato's patient. Looking down at what his son had taken Minato's face began to change color not red with anger but a pale shade of white from fear. For you see resting on the table was a stone, a ruby stone the size of a grown man's fist.
To any ordinary mortal with an eye for gemstones what Naruto had taken was a precious jewel that could be worth thousands, maybe even close to a million dollars. But to those of a more mystical incline just looking at the bright red stone and the power emitting from it told them that this gem had no conceivable monetary value…other than the price of an ass-kicking from the ruby's owner/creator.
"N….Naruto" Minato asked with a trembling voice as he finally managed to find the anger he originally sought as his hands that were still over the rabbit turned the same shade of red as the ruby albeit from his anger itself and not the influence of the ruby. "Where…. Where did you get this stone from!"
Without missing a beat and while rubbing the back of his head while displaying a visage of his closed eyes foxy face Naruto nonchalantly replied. "I stole it from that sandy guy who looks like the lead singer from the Cure.
"NARUTO!"
The rabbit from inside the box jumped out of its confined space as it seethed with anger. The innocent-looking creature was fully healed but looked rabid as it foamed at the mouth and snared chaotically back and forth between Minato and Naruto.
The Present
Now despite his previous statement, Minato had grounded Naruto for two years for his act in the theft of the ruby from the sandy guy who looked like Robert Smith of The Cure.
And a bigger miss-step was that all Naruto had taken in from his first and only lesson from the healing jutsu that he was currently using on Black Canary was don't be angry when using it. Because while Naruto was busy running for dear life away from the mad rabbit and Minato was devising a reverse heist to put the ruby back without its owner knowing it was gone, the young fox didn't realize that any emotion can be implanted in the recipient of the healing jutsu other than just rage.
So needless to say, but for the sake of consistency will be said, Naruto's teenage arousal from Black Canary's moans had stirred something inside the hero as well as a wave of passionate heat had come over the songbird hero.
"Do you mind?" Canary asked a bit carnally towards Naruto as she nodded over towards the slightly running cone. Not waiting for an answer Dinah's hand moved the cone over to her sensual lips and began to lick it. Trying not to stare but failing miserably, Naruto's blue eyes zeroed in on Black Canary's mouth as she began to wrap her tongue around the edges of the cone and lapped away the melting treat.
Wally who wisely decided to give Supergirl some space zipped over towards his best friend Robin as the two young heroes watched in both envoy and jealousy of the cone Canary was helplessly snaking on and at Naruto who was getting a front-row seat to the show.
"Dude," was all Kid Flash could say as he watched Canary's tongue smoothly roll over the top of the ice cream and down its sides.
Robin nodded in agreement and replied back with his own, "dude." While watching Canary stick her tongue out and run it over the sides of her mouth cleaning up some cream that landed out of her mouth.
"I know how you two feel…"
Robin and Kid Flash managed to find the strength to move their heads over towards their green teammate as Miss Martian looked at Black Canary with wanderlust as well. "That's some really good ice cream." M'gann innocently looked over at the two as both Wally and Robin now seemed to have dumbfounded expressions on their faces. "After training let's go to Metropolis and get some!"
And while Aqualad shook his head in disappointment at his other teammates while patiently waiting for Naruto to heal their teacher, Supergirl looked over at Naruto and Black Canary with fury in her eyes.
Either due to her age or that she hadn't unlocked the secrets behind them, Supergirl didn't have access to all of Superman's powers yet. While some like super strength, durability, and hearing had been apparent others like flight, super speed and heat vision had not. And it was a good thing too because in that moment it seemed like if she had access to the last one, she would have burned a hole through Black Canary's head.
Supergirl continued to watch the embarrassed look on Naruto's face as he tried desperately to focus on healing Canary's bicep only to fail as he took occasional glimpses at Canary's lips again. And while Supergirl couldn't use X-ray vision she did have the power to use thermal vision which she instinctively used at that moment.
Supergirl's world turned from visible to infrared as she zeroed in on Black Canary's body specifically her lower half. The cloned weapon of choice's anger steadied a little as she could tell from the colors of her thermal vision that getting healed by Naruto hadn't excited the older woman at all, at least not sexually.
From what Supergirl could tell the heat coming off Black Canary's sex didn't indagate any arousal sensual or otherwise towards Naruto himself but rather her behavior was some sort of carnal lust towards the dessert she was lightly feasting on.
Turning her attention over to Naruto she could see that the light of his jutsu seemed to be sending out waves of heat that were most likely the cause of his ice cream melting faster telling Supergirl that Canary wasn't trying to entice the younger man but was just really enjoying the ice cream itself rather lustfully.
But for whatever reason other than Supergirl's own curiosity she looked down at Naruto's body and looked directly at his infrared crotch and saw something that made her anger swell up once again.
The heat coming off Naruto's genitals was almost as bright as his healing hands. As if working in tandem Supergirl's super hearing picked up on the rushing blood traveling down Naruto's body engorging his loins with virility as Supergirl's left eye twitched in unequivocal rage just as Naruto finished his healing technique.
"There you go Birdy Sensei!" Naruto practically shouted as his voice cracked nervously as he rubbed the back of his head while trying to both not make eye contact with the pretty older hero and he crossing his legs in a way so as to not draw attention to the tent that was being pitched in his pants.
Black Canary's haze seemed to have quickly lifted just as it was cast once the jutsu was over and she dumbfoundedly looked at the ice cream cone as she had practically licked half of its remaining mass off. Her usual eagle-like perception didn't pick up on Naruto's embarrassment and discomfort as she switched her attention towards her bandaged arm and was busy rotating her now-mended apadage around.
And because of her black corset top Canary's exposed and pushed-up cleavage jiggled a bit as she flexed her biceps and with a bust size that was just as bountiful as Supergirl's that top layer of cream flesh made the ache in Naruto's pants silently scream back even louder.
"You did a fine job Naruto," Canary Sensei said smoothly causing Naruto's eyes to snap in the direction of Her's. "I know wherever he his Lord Minato is very proud of you." Somehow that sentiment had made Naruto's face turn a deeper shade of scarlet than the ice cream extravaganza.
Extending his ice cream cone back to the ninja Naruto blushed even more as he reached up to grab his treat back, the smile that his Sensei had flashed him had made his blood pump even faster than her ice cream licks…again something only Supergirl picked up on.
With her arm now healed Canary pondered out loud for a moment, "now where was I?" she asked to no one in particular as she placed a finger to her chin.
"Oh, I know! You were telling us that you got injured while doing the job." M'gann said excitingly at first like a student who raised their hand in class knowing the answer before her excitement turned to nervousness when the Martian said the last word with quotation marks not out of sarcasm but to highlight the seriousness of what Black Canary was getting at before her treatment.
Naruto had managed to backpedal towards his friends as he stood by M'gann and Wally as Black Canary continued with her lesson.
"Now combat is about controlling conflict," Dinah placed her hands on her hips as she explained today's lesson to her new students. "It's about putting the battle on your terms always acting never reacting." Unintentional like Minato did in the flash back Canary decided to show the team of young heroes what she meant by adding, "I'm going to need a volunteer."
"Right here!" Kid Flash said eagerly as he raised his hand and was about to zip over towards the older hero only to take a step back when a familiar-looking ice cream cone landed right in front of him and almost soiled his left boot.
Looking up Kid along with Naruto and the rest of the young guns saw, to put it mildly, a miffed-looking Supergirl slowly approach Black Canary from behind before standing on the edge of the holographic ring. Turning around Dinah was a bit confused on why Supergirl was glaring at her with such hostility.
"I will be your opponent," Supergirl said firmly as she pointed out toward Canary, "with my powers, the battle is always in my favor, I'm the ultimate living weapon."
Black Canary couldn't help but smirk a little as she gave the cloned girl a once over. More out of a way to through the cocky so-called living weapon off her game Canary slyly replied with a simple, "Prove it."
Both combatants entered a fighting stance, Black Canary held up an out-boxer guard with her left arm raised and her right drawn at the ready. While Supergirl had unintentionally held a standard brawler stance with both arms raised ready to pummel her opponent to dust.
The atmosphere was intense as Naruto held his breath and M'gann looked nervous and exuberantly too. Aqualad, ever the eager student planned to examine the outcome of this match for any future sparing sessions with Canary himself.
And as for Robin well the youngest of the young heroes couldn't help but let his immaturity slip passed him as the caped crusader let slip past his unguarded lips the words that all men held with dignity and respect since since time immemorial. "Someone say…Cat Fight!"
Like a bell going off Supergirl made the first move taking a step forward the Girl of Steel threw out a wild haymaker with enough power to make a locomotive steam from jealously.
Black Canary saw the wild punch a mile away as she easily sidelined around the oncoming impact and used her hands firmly to grasp Supergirl's now defenseless arm and switched from boxing to judo as she threw the helpless Krptionan over her shoulder and across the holographic ring.
Supergirl landed a few feet away on her back as the lite up floor displaced a holographic hollow ring around her fallen body as the words, "You lose, loser!" were displayed right next to her in a digital red font.
Naruto angrily channeled his father's rage as he dope-slapped Robin upside the head. The young hero responded by letting out his signature creepy laugh while he tampered with the cave's sparing program from his own holographic computer that was strapped to his wrist. Robin continued to chuckle even after Naruto lightly smacked him as the boy wonder typed away.
Snapping her eyes open Supergirl let out a seething growl as she rolled off the floor and pulled herself up in a crouching position as if she was about to charge right towards Black Canary.
"You're angry," Canary said obviously as she looked down at her student. "Good, but don't react channel that anger to…" but Canary didn't get to finish as her advice fell on deaf ears as Supergirl did charge right towards Black Canary with her arm held out in a fist in order to close line the blond bird.
Canary quickly jumped and flipped herself into the air and over Supergirl as she landed behind the clone crouching down and sticking one of her legs out as Dinha used it to sweep Supergirl off her feet again.
And like before the holographic display encircled Supergirl's body while Robin's hacking had the words of failure now read, "You lose again…maybe you should learn how to dodge?" but this time M'gann was the one to lightly nudge Robin to knock it off with a gentle poke of her elbow to his side.
Supergirl looked up at Canary as the older woman but not like old held her hand out in order to help the living weapon up off the ground, but Supergirl rebuffed the helping hand. Slapping Canary's hand away Supergirl managed to get up on her own.
"Maybe we should give someone else a chance to volunteer for this lesson," Canary said as she cautiously eyed her angry young student. "I think that if you sit on the sidelines and observe you'll be able to…"
"No!" Supergirl shouted as she looked Black Canary in the eyes and angrily spat out, "I'm not done with you yet!"
"Really I'd say Superbabe was done the first time she landed on her butt," Kid Flash whispered as he used his hand to block his mouth and direct his secret statement to both Naruto and Robin who wisely chose not to respond.
"I heard that!" Supergirl shouted as she singled Wally out, "And after I'm done with Canary, you're next Zippy!"
Kid Flash immediately straight up and held a look of terror on his face as he couldn't help but utter without thinking again, "I'm both terrified and turned on at the same time…oh man this is just like the freshman homecoming dance all over again."
"Only this time instead of punch your date will be spilling something else that's red all over your face," Robin quipped back as he continued to laugh. "By punching you! man, there's got to be a pun or some kind of irony in that?"
"And after him your next bird boy!"
Before anyone could respond to Supergirl's declaration of battle the Cave's holographic ring had shut down. Immediately afterward a holographic display window materialized in the air and spread out, becoming half the size of a movie theater's projection screen.
A face familiar to everyone in Mount Justice was immediately displayed on the communication window as the black-masked visage of the Dark Knight of Gotham greeted everyone in the alcove with an almost mechanical-like warmth.
"Batman to the Cave," almost immediately everyone gave the Dark Knight their undivided attention as they all broke away from the sidelines of the ring and faced the oncoming call from Batman.
Getting right down to business Batman immediately laid down the reason for the call, "five hours ago a new menace attacked Green Arrow and Black Canary." Using a picture and picture function Batman displayed an image of a short red-haired and pale humanoid-like figure on the upper right side of the screen.
"The attacker was capable of studying and then duplicating the powers and abilities' of its opponents." The picture of the assailant took over the screen as Batman played back footage of the battle between this new threat against Superman and Red Tornado of which it was able to counterattack against both League's heavy hitters.

"Wow," Looking up at the footage of the battle Wally couldn't help but utter out in worry, "one guy with the powers of the entire League?"
"Yeah, he's like an evil Captain Planet,"
Everyone in the Cave and Batman from his end turned their attention toward Miss Martin as she was the one who made the comparison. Looking back at her teammates and teacher she continued to say, "You know Captain Planet he has all the powers combined of earth, fire, wind…water….h…heart?"
Feeling embarrassed, M'gann awkwardly rubbed her arm up and down and looked away from her friends as her uncle placed a sympathetic hand on her shoulder while Batman continued.
"…In the end, it took eight Leaguers and four hours to defeat and dismantle the android."
"An android?" Robin asked as he turned his head and began to think of a suspect who had the knowledge and ability to construct such a machine. "Who made it T.O. Morrow?" Robin asked his mentor and adoptive guardian while slowly walking towards the screen as if Batman was there with him.
"Good guess Robin but Red Tornado doesn't think so." That slight positive feedback from an authority figure managed to upset Supergirl even more so as part of her anger from his morning merged with her growing attachment to Naruto as she looked away from the screen in content.
Martian Manhunter took the chance to step in and inform the Team of what the League found out about the android's origins by saying, "The technology bears the signature of...Professor Ivo." Either from his baritone voice or his natural infliction when J'onn uttered that name it managed to send a chill down most of the young hero's spines.
"Ivo?" Aqualad questioned as he looked for answers from either Canary or Manhunter. "But Ivo's dead."
Before Black Canary could respond back to Kaulder's declaration Batman dropped a bombshell on both Black Canary and Martian Manhunter by saying. "It's possible he still could be."
That managed to get Canary to look up at Batman confused based on the earlier assessment of whether Ivo was behind the attack or not, "what?"
"Upon further analysis of the android's outer shell and inner workings, we have indeed concluded that Ivo or his technology had a hand in building the android however…" The screen changed again as Batman displayed a graphic of a series of binary codes written on a purple background against a green font.
"The android's firmware and operating system bare a match of the same programming code as the black hat hacker that Interpol and the Global Peace Agency have identified as Doctor Cyber."
"Doctor Cyber?" Black Canary asked as neither the name nor possibility of another suspect wasn't presented to her at the time of the android's decommission.
"Doctor Cyber, Professor Ivo what university is giving out degrees to people who major in branches of the mad sciences anyway?" Kid Flash asked rhetorically but did wonder if these crazies were recognized academics.
"Regardless," Batman spoke getting the focus back on him. "To make certain that this threat is permanently naturized we're sending two trucks carrying the android's parts to two separate S.T.A.R labs facilities in Boston and New York for immediate evaluation." A digital map displaced the two truck routes to help visualize Batman's plan.
"Every precaution is being taken we'll have four additional decoy trucks to create confusion in case Ivo, Cyber, or anyone else tries to recover the remains. You will split up in two undercover teams to guard the two real trucks."
"Yes!" Kid Flash cried out in excitement, "You guys know what this means? Road trip!"
"So, what are we the Justice League's janitorial service?" Supergirl asked with her arms folded under her mighty bust as she tried to change Batman's authority on the mission. "You want us to fluff your pillows and tidy your bedsheets too while we're at it?"
"Ah, I don't think janitors do that?" Naruto said as he scratched the bridge of his nose and gently placed his hand on Supergirl's shoulder. "That sounds more like a maid, ya know?"
Before K.F. could place his foot in his mouth and give back a cheeky response Robin managed to beat him to it as the young acrobat asked out loud to everyone in the alcove. "Who just pictured Supergirl in a French maid uniform show of hands?"
Without saying a word Supergirl snatched Naruto's ice cream cone from his hands flipped it upside down and smashed the remaining ice cream and the cone itself all over the top of Robin's head, making extra sure that it smeared down to his scalp.
Taken by surprise Robin cried out "Brain Freeze!" as he quickly tried to wipe the melting cream and bits of the cone off his head.
"Why do you have to act so angry all the time?" Naruto yelled as he quickly got in Supergirl's face, "I was going to finish that!"
"I bet you were," Supergirl snapped back while getting in nose to nose with the fox. "You spiky-headed little pervert!"
"Wha…what…what are you talking about?" Naruto asked feeling that Supergirl's response was from this morning when he couldn't help but look down her shirt…which he ended up doing again.
Having put up with the nonsense of his team long enough, Aqualad stepped in between Naruto and Supergirl and broke them apart. "I think you should both cool off and get ready for our mission." Aqualad held up his military-grade smartphone and spoke. "I have received our coordinates let's get ready in our street gear and move out."
Naruto and Supergirl walked away from each other both feeling scared, angry confused, and worried all at the same time towards one another as Aqualad instructed Robin to wash out his hair before heading to the locker rooms as the team headed out of the alcove.
But before Supergirl could take off Black Canary held her arm back. As Supergirl turned around Black Canary released her grip and raised her hands out to show that the songbird didn't mean any harm as she said.
"I don't know what's going on in that confused teenage head of yours but when you're ready to talk about training, your headspace, or even anything…personal that you can't talk to your friends about I'll be waiting…to listen and help however I can."
To Black Canary's surprise, Supergirl didn't scowl back, or even give her a blank stare. No, the female clone of Superman looked back at Canary with melancholy as she slowly looked around before saying, "…whatever." Before taking off after the rest of the team.
Well, at least it wasn't a sarcastic whatever, Dinah had enough of those herself from her own miss guided youth.
AN: So, the Flash movie…I thought it was alright I really liked Affleck Batman and Keaton Batman and if I'm being honest, I'd like to have seen Clooney suit up again as well. I actually like Batman and Robin despite some missteps, and as for Sasha Calle's Supergirl all I can say is I liked what I saw and wish I could have seen more…more of her fisjghpidhjgoifdj
ANYWAY! For Naruto/Young Justice stuff I'm going to work on another Lesson's chapter and start a Naruto, Zatanna-centric story. I want it to be different from both Lesson's and Arty and Whiskers (also getting a new chapter soon!) by having Naruto being raised by Minato on Earth 16 rather than Kushina. It would lead to him being different personally (I think Minato would let Naruto get away from more stuff and sort of rebel against Minato more than he would his mom who I'm guessing is more of a disciplinary authority)
So, for that Naruto, Zatanna story I want to see Naruto specializing in using the Flying Thunder God Jutsu and putting his own spin on it like his dad did against the Second Hokage's. I feel like this story will be a mirrored reflection of Lessons Just like how House of Secrets was to House of Mystery…or vice versa… as appose to Arty and Whiskers which is just its own thing with less magic…actional magic…. it's more ahhhhhh!
Also, Masashi Kishimoto released a new one-shot story about Kushina and Minato that's definitely worth reading it gave me new inside on the two characters...and pissed me off on Naruto not being a sealing specialized like his folks especially since it's supposed be his legacy...what ever thank Thor for us then an writingseal master Naruto strioes where ever we roll!
