"Hey, Richard. I am back," Ruby says, walking into his room where Blake is waiting. "Hi Blake, how is the kitten coming?" Ruby asks in her usual happy tone upon seeing her.
Blake smiles, laying on the bed, and striking her large stomach. "Doing well. Can't wait to get out and enjoy the world."
"So, where is our significant other?" Ruby asks.
Blake looks embarrassed now. "Going to get me my food cravings for the day."
"What is it today?" Ruby asks, sitting next to her and putting a hand on her stomach.
Blake looks away as her face becomes filled with a blush. "Very spicy cod filled with corn."
"Where is Yang?" Ruby asks, sure that she would be here as well with Blake being her girl.
"Well…let's just say there may be a second child on the way," Blake says, trying to break it to Ruby gently.
Ruby stops and gently leans over to Blake. "Let me make sure I hear this correctly. My sister, the tough girl, is having a kid?" she asks, poking Blake in the chest. "The one who actually squeezed a guy's balls enough to break them and then kick him out the window…got pregnant with Richard's kid?"
"Yeah, that happened," Blake informs.
Ruby stares at her long and hard before sighing. "Great. I might have to put up with punchy punchy girl mood swings," she groans and rubs her head. "Yang is a heavier nightmare than you and yours because yours is a bit more manageable."
"Plus how physically strong she is," Blake adds, not disagreeing.
Ruby hums. "We might have to protect Richard. Or I might have to since you have your problems," she points out, poking Blake's growing stomach before feeling something hit her finger.
"And now they are kicking again," Blake says.
Ruby smiles before patting her stomach. "Well, they are going to be cute kittens, at least. Are they going to have tails?" she asks teasingly.
"Ah…maybe. Not sure as it's never guaranteed that they will have the same attributes as the parent as my ears. Also, we aren't sure if the same rules even apply as. Richard is a human, but his species is still different as he doesn't have an aura," Blake reminds.
Ruby hums before looking surprised at Blake. "Oh…how do you think Yang's kid will come out?" she asks, somewhat scared and imagines a more violent kid that only Yang can handle with a smile.
"I would say…prim proper and highly intelligent, kinda like Weiss," Blake informs.
"Yang's kid…prim and proper?" Ruby asks skeptically.
"Sometimes, kids come out the opposite of their parents. Like how Weiss is honest and her father is…the less I say, the better," Blake adds.
Ruby sighs. "Yeah. Richard told me the rest. What a shitty guy. I honestly want to throw him to the grimm with just a knife to fight with," she mutters under her breath to the side.
"You see my point, though?" Blake asks as Ruby starts to imagine such a child, and her mind conjures the image of a fit man wearing a nice tux and his hair cut and styled adequately while reading from a book in a dignified manner.
Ruby groans. "Well, now I have to figure out some stuff, and…is Weiss going for Richard now?" she questions, now seeing a kid in Yang's style from the proper girl.
"Not yet, but she has her eye on him at least," Blake informs.
"Can you imagine a Yang-like kid from her?" Ruby asks in some wonderment and how they might handle a mini-Yang.
"I now imagine a seven-foot-tall amazon or barbarian-like build with strength comparable to Yang's," Blake says facepalming.
Ruby taps her chin before remembering what she came here to do. "Oh yeah. Shoot. I was coming here to ask you something other than Yang's new oncoming kid."
"Blake, I am back, and the cod is being cooked as we speak," Richard says, entering the room.
'Damn!' Ruby curses in her head before smiling at Richard. "Hey, man. Welcome back andddd…what happened to you? You like you went ten rounds with Herleva," she asks as she notes the tired and stressed face on Richard.
"Because he did earlier," Blake adds as Richard walks over and smiles to Ruby.
Richard sighs and hugs Ruby before looking past her at Blake. "You'll get a hug too."
"Your three girls like the affection," Ruby informs, smirking while holding him close.
Richard sighs in relief and pulls the little girl in tighter. "Only because you know me so well. And how are the kittens Miss Blake?" he asks, letting go of Ruby and walking over to the faunus to hug her.
Blake hums happily before grunting in surprise when Ruby hugs them both. "Fine, Richard. Still growing strong."
Richard breathes out softly as he lets go of the two. "Good. Cause now, I need a nap," he groans, falling back onto the bed while the two look at him in confusion. "Don't worry. It's just I have a class up next, so I will instead be wide awake for it after that beating."
Ruby silently grits her teeth at the interruption but calms down as she knows she can't stand in Richard's way like that. It would draw suspicion after all. "Don't worry. Just rest up, and we'll be fine," she says, slowly closing his eyes shut before she smiles as he starts to snore almost as quickly after hitting the bed. "Aw. So cute," she coos happily.
Richard yawns as he walks into the classroom, as he comes to call it, and stops short of entering through the doorway to see a few new students or rather just one and more teachers. A few noble-looking people surround Evie as she seems to be talking to them about something so complicated, Richard can't follow.
"Doubt I can interrupt," Richard notes to himself as he goes to his usual seat. After a while, he starts to listen in to their conversation as he is currently bored, and it is partially mind-numbing.
Evie sighs as she listens to another question one of the scholars asks her. "No. There is no such thing as miasma in the air that can kill you a certain way. It can be as simple as a sickness coming off an infected person, body, plant, the environment, or monster. The fact of the matter is, not all wounds can be healed by using spells. You have to be smart and prevent people from getting sick in the first place, which saves you time, energy, and money," she explains tiredly.
Evie then notices Richard ahead of her in the front of the room and how he seems to be listening in. He then turns back to the front, not to make things too visible he was doing so. "And that will be all for today," she says firmly as she jumps out of her seat and walks to the front where Richard is. Richard even flinches a little when she sits beside him, and she groans while the scholars leave. "Pessimistic, I tell you. I like you and the others better since you give no bullshit," she says more hopefully. Though, Richard is still put off by a girl of her age spouting off curse words like nothing. "Been asking me stuff since I got out of my room. Mostly about how things are different in our world and how we can live without magic. Imagine their surprise at that," she rolls her eyes at uncaringly.
"It would be like us discovering a more advanced society without electricity; I would imagine," Richard points out.
"Exactly. Someone gets it," Evie says in relief and slumps back against the seat. "Sometimes, I wish I am not that smart. But when life gives you lemons or rather drop goblins in your lap, it's best to make do with great potions and kill them," she shrugs off before noticing his questioning expression. "Oh. I learned a few things about potions while stuck in that mall."
"What degree do you have again?" Richard asks.
Evie shrugs. "Ph.D. in chemistry," she admits and leans against the table as a real bored kid would. "I happen to remember what certain things do and what to do with new materials like the stuff the goblins and other monsters left behind."
Richard looks to the little bag sitting beside Evie and wonders if she is carrying those potions now. "So what did you make? A healing potion?"
Evie nods and stares ahead. "Yeah. One crude one to get by. Some smoke bomb style ones. Another is scaring monsters away with the smell. I also made the opposite to attract monsters to a spot so I could run back then to get what I needed for anything else I was doing," she explains while she tries to remember what else she made. "I also made ones to act like a heat potion that would make any female instantly horny for any guys that want her. That keeps them busy for a while."
"Can you make more of them?" Richard inquires.
Evie moans into the table. "Yeah. I just need materials. If you can get what I need, I can make it," she then looks over at him. "What do you need since you ask?"
"The healing will be helpful, and a way to chase monsters away sounds incredibly necessary," Richard points out.
Evie gives a wry smile. "Okay. I can do that. I can make a few more before I need more ingredients. I will make a list later for you. But you might have to get out and find a monster-hunting job for some things. So are you sure?"
"We planned to do that anyway. Ruby suggested we do that to earn some money. Act like a huntsman, as she described it," Richard informs.
Evie smiles and hums. "Good. Grab what you can also besides what I ask for. I might come up with something," she suggests before humming happily as Richard pats and strokes her head. "At least you are not calling me cute."
Richard watches the courtyard as Herleva is introduced to the knight company she was put in charge of. He notes in the fascination of how Herleva, despite all that pride and praise, is not looking as ready for this group of knights based on how she is walking up to them.
"Hey," Yang says, putting an arm around his neck.
Richard smiles and turns his head at the proud looking girl. "Hey, Yang. Looking for something to eat?"
"I am not that bad," Yang says lightly, tapping his head.
Richard chuckles before wrapping an arm around her waist. "I mean any cravings yet. Because the kid will be asking soon enough."
"I am not even a month into it yet you dope," Yang reminds, as there are no real signs of it with her form.
Richard smiles before sighing and leaning his head against her shoulder. "I'm just worried about you, Yang. Especially since I am different, and Blake is even further away from that."
"I am a tough girl. Remember, I got punched through solid support for a road, and I walk away without even a hair out of place," Yang tries to reassure.
Richard looks over her form and slowly moves his arm down her back. "I know you can fight. But will me giving you a kid will be okay? Or even…" Richard stops when Yang puts the finger on his mouth.
"No more worrying about that now," Yang instructs.
Richard nods before sighing and lets his hand reach down and touch her ass. "Sorry," he apologizes, still having that worry on him. "But when do you want me to worry?"
"I will let you know when," Yang informs. "Now, what about them?"
"Huh?" he asks before looking out the window to the courtyard again and sees Herleva walking around in front of the guards and talking to them. "Oh. They are her new knight group to be working for her. Heard it was also needed because of whatever is going on between the houses," Richard explains before stopping as he feels Yang's hand over his as she presses it down more into her ass. "And…I might…be training…with them…" he mutters out, as he can't help but give some gropes of his own to her.
"If they bully you…well, I guess I can introduce them to my ball vice grip or crush them," Yang offers, giving Richard the impression of a territorial lioness.
Richard gulps before she giggles at his scared expression. "Will you…?"
Yang kisses him to shut him up before letting go just as quickly. "No. I need my strong man after all," she winks, smiling before sitting on his lap. "Now, what do you feel like doing before training comes back to bite you in the ass?"
"I feel like holding my lioness," Richard informs, holding her close.
"That's such a cheesy nickname, but I like it," Yang says, wrapping her arms around his neck. "If someone else calls me that, you will tell me, and I will squeeze their balls."
Richard gives a small smile. "And if a girl?"
Yang grins. "Simple. Hair and breasts before giving a hard kick in between their legs. We, girls, hate being hit there."
"I would have called you a dragoness, but too on the nose with your name," Richard adds as she pulls his head into her chest.
Yang giggles and hugs him close. "I wouldn't mind. Like how I am not minding you groping me like that," she says, and he freezes as he has both his hands on her ass under her pants. "Yeah. We feel that. But if you want, you can do all you want to us since we are yours."
"I think it is the other way around," Richard reminds.
Yang shakes her head and kisses his head. "No. You needed us in your life, and you did want us in some way. So we can give it to you. And what do you offer? Something different that we all enjoy. Blake doesn't shut up about her future kittens," she laughs.
"What about you?" Richard asks.
Yang hums teasingly. "Well, I am shutting up about it, but I am getting ready for the kids too. Ruby and Weiss are helping out also. We have to make sure they won't cause trouble since we don't know how they will be when they are born."
"Weiss is already lecturing about properly educating them?" Richard asks knowingly.
Yang nods before sighing. "Yeah. But the question will be what to teach since we have this world, yours, and ours."
"You also now know far more about your world's true history than Ozpin ever wanted anyone else to know," Richard adds.
Yang hums and rests her head on top of his. "Yeah. Maybe it would be best to teach this place and yours."
"But what if you go back to your world one day?" Richard asks.
Yang now looks worried about that possibility but doesn't let Richard up to see her expression. "We will deal with it when the day comes, okay?"
"Right, but if that happens, Ozpin can never be trusted. His ways have doomed your world. As we know, he has been the one to make every big decision that has led to this point," Richard reminds.
Yang then smiles down at him. "And you too. We got to meet you and even get kids. If he planned that out, then he's stupid crazy anyway. And I certainly hope we have more on the way," she whispers the last piece.
"The opposite of your mom is your goal?" Richard asks.
Yang nods, hugging him tighter. "I and the others want to be better than our parents. I know we hate them somehow, but not all is bad. Heck, you are more my father than him. You at least give me something to come back and hope for."
"Yours and Ruby's father is a good one. It also looks like something has come up," Richard says, seeing the company move.
Yang looks as well before slowly letting go of him. "You can head off. If something happens, just come to one of us, okay?" she asks, getting off his lap.
"I think they will find us, but you and Blake will be out of action for a while," Richard says.
"Lucky us. But we can still kick ass," Yang says proudly and flexes her arm.
"Someone also has to watch the keep and help make sure we have somewhere to come back to after all. And that requires one of our strongest," Richard adds.
Yang grins. "Aw. I will take your compliment and make sure anyone who bothers us is tossed over the walls."
"Which one?" Richard teases.
Yang giggles as she gives one last hug to him. "Better get going. You don't want to make her mad and have to run around this place more than you should."
