Thank you all for taking the time to read my story. I appreciate all the support you have shown me so far. It means a lot.
That being said, I do have important news for this story.
See, when I started writing this, I mostly just did it for fun, and also as a way to honor those who ventured into this fandom before me - my biggest inspirations being the following authors on this site: mortalkombat247, Drew Luczynski, DarkSage, and nathanoraptor, and yes, I know I misspelled some of their names. All of them were inspirations for this story. And considering how DarkSage handled her story, that should be a hint as to how weird things would have gotten.
But then I started writing Primeval Paradox and, well, as was revealed a few chapters back, that story is set in the same universe as this one. And then I decided to review my story and...look, this is one of the first stories I ever wrote. And those early chapters - the ones that took this story in its own direction after supercroc- are really hard to look at. Some of them are still just skeletons after a few years, because I didn't have the motivation to go back and edit them. And while I love all the characters I created - especially the Saurus siblings - I think introducing so many early on was a mistake.
Which leads me to my announcement: the next full chapter will be the final one for this iteration of the series. After that, I will be creating a sequel/soft reboot that will bring things more in line with what I want going forward.
Hear are a few changes that will come (not all will be spoiled):
1. I'm going to rearrange when and how each of the younger staff members arrived. Tristan still arrived first, but after him came all of his siblings and Michelle, with the rest of his friends arriving later.
2. The younger team members will be less involved with the rescues - I was making plans to have them be more focused on exploring the true nature of the park and, by extension, the World Outside of Time.
3. Regarding Cassandra, she and her fellow people from the future still exist, and the future creatures from the City of Cactus still live in the park, but the exact manner of how Tristan rescued them will be retconned - that scene was way too much like an action movie.
4. All rescues that happened in this story will still be canon to the sequel, but under a broad strokes kind of canon.
5. The World Outside of Time will very much be canon in the sequel.
6. There will be more integration between this story and Primeval Paradox.
