First, a guest left a review saying they want to see someone from Little Garden join the crew but they didn't say who so if you're reading please leave a review again that would be great
Another one said Mrs. Golden Week and I'm all for it, I was even thinking of having her, Mr.3, and Miss Valentine join them through Little Garden all the way to Alabasta with Mrs. Golden Week becoming a member
And I'm seriously debating on whether Vivi should stay with the crew or not, I'm throwing the question right now to see what you feel about it
And Desert_Queen_Nancy, I like your suggestions, and I'll think about them, the one I'm having doubts about it is Marguerite but I can be persuade
Also I'm debating on making this story a harem one for Logan, but I'll leave it to your call

Chapter 3: Syrup Village
"So, after expenses and the trust fund we have for our ship, it's forty percent for us and sixty for you," Logan said looking at some notes he had as he and Nami were discussing things on Buggy's ship while
"Sounds good, but why are you giving me this much?" Nami asked in curiosity "Not that I don't mind, but I feel curios," Nami said and Logan chuckled
"No one risks their lives like you, to steal money from pirates just for money, unless they're desperate, or simply greedy," Logan said with a chuckle as Nami's eyes winded
"Seems like I hit the spot, don't worry, I don't want to know," Logan said with empathy in his eyes as he looked down at Nami and walked to her, and put his hands on her shoulders "Look, I don't know what troubles you, but you're part of our crew now, that means you're on my care now, and Luffy's, whatever you need just ask," Logan said squeezing her shoulders as she looked down
"Thank you," Nami said and Logan chuckled
"Don't mention it," Logan said with a smile on his face "It's a pleasure to help such a beauty like yourself," Logan said with a chuckle as Nami blushed "Let me call the others, we need to talk about our next move," Logan said smiling at her and he went to the exit of the room they were
They were on a small cabin of the Buggy's pirate boat and then Nami sat down on one of the couches with a hard blush on her face as she looked down to the floor "The hell is wrong with me?" Nami thought trying to get her blush down
Then the rest of the crew entered the room and Nami saw Logan dragging Luffy into the room "Quit whining, cap'n, we need to discuss where to go next, you'll keep eating later," Logan said letting go of Luffy and taking a seat next to Nami
"So, according to Nami and the charts, there's a small Island around here, we're planning to go there," Logan said crossing his arms
"For what?" Zoro asked in curiosity
"Even if we want to go to the Grand Line, it's better if we get supplies, crew members, and most importantly a ship," Nami said looking at the crew
"There's going to be a bunch of pirates there, and they're going to keep getting stronger the more we travel forward, trust me, I'm from there after all," Logan said taking a cigar out and lighting it up
"You're from the Grand Line!?" Luffy asked in excitement and Logan chuckled
"Yeah, from Wano to be precise," Logan said with a chuckle "Didn't live there for long though, my ex-crew took me away after they found me fishing on an island nearby, and we moved to the West Blue," Logan said with a sigh of nostalgia for those times "Another time they were," Logan said taking a drag of his cigar
"Seems bad," Zoro said as Nami glared at him noticing Logan had a bad demeanor on him
"It is, there's a list of people I want to kill, one is my dad, and the rest of them are ex-members of my crew," Logan said looking at Zoro in the eyes "They made a deal with my father, to take me back to Wano, and betrayed my brothers, they're nothing but scum," Logan said taking another drag of his cigar "Sorry about that, didn't intend to make the aura so gloomy," Logan said
"It's okay," Nami said putting a hand on his shoulders
"They're names, what are they?" Luffy asked in a serious tone as Logan looked at him in confusion
"Why do you want to know?" Logan asked in curiosity
"You're my nakama, there are our enemies now," Luffy said with a glare on his face and Logan chuckled
"Javier Hernandez, Bill, Micah Bell, and our leader Dutch Van Der Line," Logan said looking at Luffy with a smile "They'll probably have a squad on them, you can fight those squads, but those people, they are mine," Logan said in seriousness
"I won't stand in your way, they did something awful, you never betray your crew," Luffy said and Logan's smirk grew wider
"Me neither, is your ambition," Zoro said and Logan's smirk turn into a smile, and tipped his hat to them
"Thank you, from the bottom of my heart," Logan said with a lot of feeling in his voice "Anyhow, we got sidetracked, we need a ship, these small boats just won't do, and I won't travel there without at least a bottle of a cowboy cocktail on my hands," Logan said with a chuckle as Nami swathed the back of his head
"Why do you men only think of booze!?" Nami asked in irritation and Logan chuckled
"Is a vice of mine," Logan said as he then leaned towards her "That and beautiful women like you," Logan whispered and Nami blushed a little and moved to be a little closer to him
"So what's our move?" Zoro asked in curiosity
"The island is called Syrup Village, we'll go there grab something to eat, and scout the area, remember we're tourists there so no causing violence unless we're provoked," Logan said looking at the crew
"We hope to find someone who could sell us a ship or build us one, so we don't want to cause any trouble," Nami said and Zoro nodded
"I wonder what kind of meat they'll have," Luffy said with saliva on his mouth and Logan chuckled
"And whiskey/sake," Logan and Zoro said at the same time with a chuckle as Nami sighed in irritation but then looked to her right and saw Logan smiling at her and she couldn't help but give him a small smile
"I wonder if we will get another nakama, maybe a cook or a musician," Luffy said excitedly and Nami sighed
"Give a few whiskey drinks and I'll turn into a great musician," Logan said leaning back and Zoro chuckled "Crew liked to sing, I don't have a great voice, but I know a few songs," Logan said with a smirk
"Please don't tell me you're going to sing," Nami said pinching her nose as Luffy looked at Logan with stares in his eyes
"You ever heard of the Wellerman?" Logan said laying on the couch and putting his feet on top of Nami's lap she glared at him jokingly but put a hand on his boots telling him without speaking that he could remain like that "It kind of goes like this," Logan said as he started singing the song to the delight of Luffy, the amusement of Zoro and the horror of Nami
"You see it?" Nami asked Logan who was in the front of the boat
"Yeah, right ahead, seems you were right, there's an island up ahead," Logan said as Nami nodded "Luffy we're almost there!" Logan said as Luffy straighten up from his seat and went to where Logan was
"Let me see!" Luffy said excitedly putting himself next to Logan
"Cap'n remember, we don't want to start any trouble," Logan said and Luffy nodded in understanding
They docked the boats on the shore as Luffy stood in front of Logan and Zoro stood back stretching their arms
"Ah, feels great being on dry land after a while!" Zoro said and Logan chuckled
"You're a pirate now, better get used to it, swordsman," Logan said and Zoro grumbled
"So, you said there's a small village ahead?" Luffy asked Nami who was looking at a map
"Yeah, a small one," Nami said as Logan heard a rustling on the bushes ahead and a hand went towards his guns
"You think they have meat!? Or somewhere to eat!?" Luffy said with saliva on his mouth
"Can you stop thinking of Meat for a second!?" Nami said and Logan cleared his throat
"Eyes up, we have company," Logan said looking at the bushes as Zoro's hand went to his swords and Luffy looked around in confusion
"Huh? Where?" Luffy asked as Zoro's eyes winded
"Watch out!" Zoro said walking to save Logan but stop when he saw his vice-captain giving him a smirk
Several projectiles came rushing and landed on Luffy's feat and Logan just dodge the ones that came at him not really concerned as he saw there were unlethal
"This will be fun," Logan whispered as he took out a cigar and lit it up he saw a tanned skin guy with a green bandana and curly black hair appear on top of the mountain, and behind him, several pirate flags appear
"I'm the leader of the Pirates who rule this land! Captain Ussop!" The guy said, "If you decide to attack me and my eighty thousand pirate crew members will not stand with their arms crossed!" Ussop said and Luffy's eyes turned into stars
"That's so cool!" Luffy said as Logan sighed and punched the back of his head slightly
"Luffy, he's clearly lying, remember how we told you this was a small village?" Logan said as Ussop's eyes winded
"Shit, he caught me!" Ussop said and Logan's sweat dropped
"See?" Logan said and Ussop grabbed his head in fear
"Oh no, I let myself be found, he's too persuasive," Ussop said as Logan looked at him in confusion
"Why is this world filled with weird individuals?" Logan thought as Luffy stared at him in shock
"What!? It was a lie!?" Luffy said and Logan hid his eyes with his hat and pinched his nose
"Why indeed," Logan thought with annoyance and sighed
"You're too perceptive cowboy, but while I may have lied with the number!" Ussop said, "I do have brave men with me!" Ussop said as the crew turn to the bushes
"I'd say just three kids," Nami said with a smirk on her face as three kids appeared from the bushes
"We've been found!" The kids said running away as Logan and Nami chuckled
"Hey feller, I don't know many things, but I know this," Logan said leaning down "Pachinko balls aint the way to kill a man feller," Logan said throwing a ball to Nami who caught it and blow on it getting rid of the sand on it
Luffy started laughing out loud "Ey, you're very resourceful!" Luffy said chuckling
Ussop got angry and started shouting "What's wrong with you!? Don't insult me!" Ussop said while searching for something in his bag and Logan hid his eyes with his hat and his hand went to his revolver "I may not have a crew but I have honor!" He said taking a sling out and pointing at Luffy Logan quickly took out his revolver with his face hidden from Ussop but he smirked just for Luffy to see
"That's why this city knows me as Ussop the Proud!" Ussop said, "And have no doubt, my throws are more deadly than any gun!" Ussop said and Logan snorted loudly as he move the gun around Ussop's eyes winded
"When you point your weapon out, you're willing to risk your life," Luffy said hiding his eyes with his hat as Logan and Zoro crossed eyes and smirked at each other
"Feller, if you take your weapon out, your better be willing to use it," Logan said with a growl in his voice as Zoro unsheathed his sword and smirked at Ussop
"In case you haven't noticed, we're real pirates!" Zoro said smirking at Ussop as the long nose due just saw how three scary dudes were looking at him seriously
So he couldn't take it anymore and his knees buckle under him because of the fear "There's no doubt, real pirates, always know what to say," Ussop said kneeling on the ground
The trio of men looked at each other and laughed out loud as logan spun his revolver and put it away as he walked and leaned on the boat next to Nami
"I stole those words," Luffy said "I pirate I knew, Shanks, he said those words a while ago," Luffy said with a chuckle
"Shanks? You know him? Red hair Shanks, the emperor?" Ussop asked in curiosity
"Yeah, you're dad's Yassop isn't he?" Luffy asked rhetorically
"It has to be, he fits the name and he has the same face," Logan said from the side as Nami looked at him in curiosity "If you live long enough in the grand line, you meet the redhead crew," Logan whispered to her and she nodded in understanding
Ussop's eyes winded and he moved forward and fell down as Nami and Logan moved from the boat and walked to the group "Yeah, my dad's Yassop but I'm surprised," Ussop said straightening himself up "But how do you know that?" Ussop asked in curiosity as Logan put himself next to Luffy
"Because your old man never stops talking 'bout ya'" Logan said with a chuckle as Luffy smirked "Fella, we would love to chat about your old folk, but we're starving, is there a place we can hit the saddle and fill our stomachs?" Logan asked in curiosity and Ussop smiled and nodded
The crew plus Ussop went to a restaurant to eat something, Zoro and Luffy on one side with Ussop on the edge of the table while Nami and Logan were on the other side Nami in front of Luffy and Logan in front of Zoro
Logan was drinking from his glass of whiskey as he tried to steal Nami's food messing with her and playing with her as she poked his stomach hard
He rubbed his stomach and decided to poke her back and she winced and glared at him and he just chuckled at her, she grabbed his stomach and twisted it around and Logan winced
"You're done?" Nami said leaning forward with a smirk on her face
"If I say this makes you look hot, what would you say?" Logan asked cheekily and Nami blushed and gave him a chuckle
"Just eat your food, idiot," Nami said as Logan chuckled and continue eating while Luffy talked to Ussop
"Hey Ussop, we're looking for a ship, is there any place we could ask for one?" Logan asked in curiosity as Ussop grew nervous
"No, there's no place here like that," Ussop said nervously as Nami frowned
"What about the mansion we saw on the hill?" Zoro asked with curiosity pointing at the window as Ussop's eyes winded a thing Nami noticed
"You know those guys? Think you could go and talk to them!?" Nami asked sweetly and Logan snorted as he took a sip of his whiskey
"She doesn't waste any time does she," Logan thought with a chuckle as he saw Ussop get even more nervous
"Actually I remember I have something important to do!" Ussop said, "Because I'm such an important member of the village, drink and feed to your liking, see ya!" Ussup said running away
"Feller's going to see a girl, guaranteed," Logan said finishing up his plate "What do you wanna do cap'n?" Logan said turning to look
"Eat!" Luffy said and Logan's sweat dropped and sigh
"Fair enough," Logan said to himself as the crew continue eating peacefully, but at the end when they were all full the trio of kids that accompanied Ussop entered the restaurant
"Ussop pirates have come to fight!" The kids said as Nami looked at them
"Who are those kids?" Nami asked as Logan leaned towards her to see what she was seeing putting his chest slightly on her back without noticing which made Nami blush a little
"Aren't they the kids that were with Ussop?" Logan asked in curiosity as the kids froze
"Captain isn't here," One of them said and then the leader of the trio ran towards them as Logan leaned back
"Hey, you Pirates!" The kid shouted in front of them "What have you done with our Captain!?" He asked slash demanded
"What have you done with him!?" The other kids repeated as Luffy finished drinking and put his jug back on the table
"Ah, that meat was surely delicious," Luffy said with a happy sigh making the kids uncomfortable
"Meat he said?" One of the kids said terrified
"That means, our captain?" The other wondered also in fear as Nami chuckled at their antics
Logan shared a smirk with Zoro and shrugged his shoulders to tell him to do whatever he liked as the leader asked what they had done with Ussop
Zoro smirked at them darkly and chuckled "If you're looking for your captain," Zoro said and then looking straight at the kids he said the following words "We ate him," He said making the kids scream and looked straight at Nami
"Ah, she's a witch!" The kids said screaming
"Oi, why are you calling me that!?" Nami screamed frustrated as Logan let out a big deep laugh alongside Zoro and they laughed harder when they saw the kids fall over "That's what happens when you say crazy stuff," Nami said with a huff
"Calm down kiddos," Logan said as he regain his composure "We're kidding, you're pal went away a while ago," Logan said taking a sip of his whiskey as the kids lift themselves up
"Oh, you were kidding?" The leader asked and Logan nodded
"Yes, we were, although, you know that feller pretty well right?" Logan asked in curiosity as the leader "He got all jiggery-pokery and nervous when we mentioned the mansion on the hill, you know anything about that?" Logan asked as the kids looked at each other debating something silently
"Is sooo huge!" Luffy said as Logan whistled in appreciation
"This isn't where Ussop lives, isn't it?" Logan asked the kids in curiosity and a kid shook his head
"Captain hides himself in this house at this hour," The kid said as Luffy looked at him with a raised eyebrow
"Seriously? Do you know why he comes here?" Luffy asked in curiosity
"He comes to lie," Another kid said and Logan raised an eyebrow
"But that's not good!" Nami said and Logan cleared his throat
"Wait up Nami, I think there's more to it," Logan said looking at the leader of the kid's trio
"The cowboy," The kid said and Logan cleared his throat
"Outlaw," Logan said in a mumble as the kid nodded nervously
"He's right, they're merciful lies," The kid said "There's a lady that lives here, named Kaya," The kid said "She's weak and depressed because her parents died a year ago, even though she has a lot of money she's still sad," The kid said
"That's why our captain tells her imaginary stories to make her laugh, he's a first-class liar, our captain," Another kid said with a smirk on his face
"Oh, so he's a good person then?" Luffy said to the kids and Logan chuckled
"Told ya' it was a girl, it's always a girl," Logan said with a chuckle as he approached Zoro "Ten Berries he asks Ussop to join us," Logan whispered as Zoro looked at him smiling
"You're on," Zoro said and both males chuckled
"So with his stories, he makes her feel better?" Nami asked in curiosity and the kids nodded
"Yosh, let's go ask them for a boat!" Luffy said excitedly and Logan and Zoro snorted
"That means her health got better because Ussop huh?" Zoro said
"Well, they say happiness is the best medicine," Logan said with a chuckle "Still, there seem to be no visitors, I don't think they're going to let us through," Logan said scratching his chin "Hear that Luffy?" Logan asked turning to his right but his captain wasn't there anymore
"Still I have to ask," Luffy said grabbing the fence and stretching back
"Aha, so what's your plan then?" Logan asked in confusion as the kids got scared when they saw Luffy's powers
"Gomu Gomu no! Luffy said stretching his arms as long as he could as the crew and the kids winded and quickly grabbed his chest "Sorry for the intrusion!" Luffy said as he and the rest of them went flying upwards thanks to the slingshot effect he created
"Cap'n the hell were you thinking!" Logan shouted in the air but then he quiet himself as he saw that now he was falling down "Ah shit!" He screamed holding his hat as the crew and the kids fell into the ground
"Ah hell that hurt," Logan said as he landed on the grass on his back and then felt a weight on top of him
He opened his eyes and saw Nami on top of him grabbing his chest for dear life "Are you okay?" Nami asked concern as Logan noticed she had landed on top of him
"Yeah, actually this is like a reward," Logan said with a chuckle making Nami blush and quickly stand up kneeing his stomach in the process as Logan winced in pain "Still worth it," Logan wheezed out as he looked to his right and saw that Luffy and Zoro had landed on the pavement
"Ugh, this didn't go as planned," Luffy said with a groan standing up
"Of course it didn't you idiot!" Nami shouted as Logan stood up and helped Zoro stand up
"Uh, are you okay? Who are you?" Logan heard a soft female voice behind him speak out
"Ah, these are new recruits hoping to join my pirate crew," Ussop said nervously Logan looked at the girl and noticed how fragile she looked
"She looks sick, I know depression in this world can make you that bad, but not in a year, something's off," Logan thought and noticed that he had narrowed his eyes so spoke out to divert her clear fear of him "Oi Ussop, is that you missus? Lucky bastard," Logan said with a smirk on his face as he saw the two teens blush hard
"Uh, were not here for that," Luffy said as Kaya looked at him "Actually I wanted to ask you a favor miss," Luffy said as Logan heard some footsteps behind him and glanced back to see a butler walking towards them and Logan narrowed his eyes
"Me a favor?" Kaya asked in confusión as Logan put himself in front of Nami and narrowed his eyes ahead
"This feller," Logan thought referring to the butler "He seems familiar, but where have I seen him?" Logan thought in confusion as his thoughts were interrupted by the same butler
"Hey, you!" The butler shouted as the crew turn around and Nami was winded when she saw Logan standing in front of him with a hand on the handle of his gun but offer no comment "What are you doing here!?" The butler demanded
"Um, Klahadore you see these people," Kaya tried to say but the Butler interrupted her and Logan's eyes winded when he saw how the butler adjusted his glassed and hid his face with his hat to not be figured by the man in front of him
"We'll discuss it later," Klahadore said adjusting his glasses "You're free to give me any excuse you want later,"
"Logan," Luffy whispered to his vice-captain as Logan looked at him with his face still hidden from the butler "Calm down, don't do anything rash," Luffy whispered as Logan nodded and let go of his gun "Hey you butler guy, we were wondering if you could give us a boat!?" Luffy said excitedly changing his attitude in a blink of an eye
"No way!" Klahadore said angrily and Luffy gasped and arch his back in sadness as Zoro patted his back "Ussop! I see you there!" He said freezing Ussop as he was climbing back down
"I've heard rumors about you," The butler said mockingly but Ussop didn't notice "You're very famous in this village aren't you?" Klahadore said rhetorically "You're always getting into trouble I hear, as expected from someone young like you," He said as Logan took out a cigarette and lit up crossing his arms
"Damm vermin," Logan whispered leaning on the tree and hiding his face with the hat
"Okay then, you may call me Captain Ussop also," Ussop said and Logan chuckled but frown when the butler spoke again
"Captain huh? I've also heard rumors about your father," He said surprising Ussop as Logan and Luffy stared at the butler blankly
"Klahadore stop this!" Kaya said but the butler didn't listen
"You're just the kid of a scumbag low-class pirate!" Klahadore said as Ussop's eyes winded in anger "Either way I don't care what you do, but please step away from the lady right now!" Klahadore said
"Low-class pirate?" Ussop asked angrily
"You're in a different world than her, you want money? How much?" Klahadore asked mockingly
"That's enough Klahadore!" Kaya said as she stared at him "Apologize to Ussop right away!" Kaya said as Ussop looked at her with a smile
"Why should I apologize to a guy like him, my lady?" Klahadore said fixing his glasses again "I'm only telling the truth, in fact, I'm very sorry for you," Klahadore said with a dry chuckle
"You definitely have hatred, hatred for the stupid man who left you and your mother to become a pirate," Klahadore said and Logan tighten his fists but tried to calm himself down, this wasn't the place for a fight, especially with the lady who was clearly very sick
So when he saw Ussop climbing down the three angrily he quickly spoke to Zoro "Zoro, grab him before he does something stupid," Logan said in a whisper Zoro nodded and grab the back of Ussop's shirt as the long nose kid's eyes winded
"Woah, woah feller, seems like everyone is losing their marbles," Logan said stepping between the groups "We're just travelers searching for a bigger boat partner, but we also are civilized people who know when they have overstayed their welcome, isn't that right Ussop?" Logan said looking back at Ussop with narrowed eyes and then at Kaya telling him to calm down
"Heh, seems like some of you have manners, even if it comes from a dirty outlaw like yourself," Klahadore said trying to bait the cowboy since his plan of making Ussop look like a fool was out of the window
"Man you city folk sure are the silver tongue type," Logan said with a chuckle but ignored the butler nonetheless "Ma'am, it was a pleasure meeting you, considering the circumstances," Logan said tipping his hat to Kaya who nodded in appreciation
"Hey you outlaw, I'm talking to you," Klahadore said but Logan still had his back to him
"Excuse I'm talking to the lady of the house, not the dog of it," Logan said without looking at him as the group laughed at the butler "I sincerely hope you get better ma'am, and don't worry, we'll take off your boyfriend here," Logan said nodding at Zoro as he sated walking away
"Wait, he's not my boyfriend," Kaya said with a blush as the straw hat crew, with Zoro pushing Ussop forward, exited the areas as Logan stopped and looked at Kaya with a smirk
"Yet," Logan said with a chuckle making Kaya blush hard and walk away "You know butler, making fun of a crew member of an emperor of the sea, that gets you killed from where I'm from, especially the red-haired crew," Logan whispered to Klahadore without sparing him a glance on his way out
Logan, Nami, and Zoro alongside the trio of kids were resting on a fence on one of the roads of the village with Logan and Zoro leaning on one pillar of the fence each and Nami seating on top of it
Ussop had told them he needs some time alone and went away but Luffy didn't care and followed him
"Hey kiddos, the ma'am, how long has she been sick?" Logan asked looking at the floor with a cigar in his mouth
"Mmm, about two or three years I think?" One of the kids said looking at the other in confusion as the kid nodded
"And the butler, how long have you known him?" Logan asked looking at the kids
"He started working for Miss Kaya three years ago, when he wondered in this village," The leader said as Logan hummed and scratch his chin
"What are you thinking?" Zoro asked in curiosity looking at him
"That butler is a pirate, one that's supposed to be dead," Logan whispered to him as Zoro's eyes winded "Kuro, of the black cat pirates, rumors say that Morgan captured him and killed him, but I recognized his mannerisms, the way he adjusted his glasses, it's a big hint," Logan whispered as he stretched his legs
"So what do we do?" Zoro asked as Logan blow out some smoke
"Pirate or not, Luffy made a new friend, we'll be fighting that guy sooner or later," Logan said with a dry chuckle as he let himself get some rest
But that rest was broken by the cries and shouts of the missing kid from the trio "Guys! It's horrible!" The kid shouted
"What's wrong Onion?" The leader asked in confusion
"A weird man is walking backward!" Onion said and the two other kids looked at the other kid in confusion
"Liar," The other two kids said
"I'm not, look!" The kid said pointing back as everyone looked there and they saw a man dressed in a magician outfit with a fedora on his head walking backward
"Who called me weird?" The man asked stopping in front of them "I'm not weird," The man said Logan saw who he was and his hand slowly went to his holster
"You look weird to me," Nami said as Logan whispered to Zoro to keep his guard up
"That's ridiculous, I'm just a hypnotist that was passing through," The man said while holding his hat and striking a pose
"A hypnotist? That's so cool," One of the kids said with excitement
"Can you show us something please?" Another kid asked with excitement as the last kid nodded
"Huh? Why should I show my abilities to a bunch of strangers?" The man said with a frown but then he quickly took out a circular necklace "Okay then look closely here," The hypnotist said as Logan and Zoro sweatdropped
"He's still going to do it?" Logan thought with a sweat drop as the hypnotist moved the jewelry piece around
"When I say Jango you will all fall asleep," The man said "One, two, Jango!" He said as he and the kids quickly fell asleep
"What the hell is this man!?" Logan and Zoro thought in irritation as Logan sighed and leaned back "So, I was right huh? What are the black cats doing here?" Logan wondered as he dropped his cigar and fell asleep for a while
He was woken up later when Zoro shook his arm as they saw Ussop running to the village with a scared and concerned look on his face
Logan stood up but Ussop didn't even acknowledge them as she continue running the kids wondered what happened to their captain
"Kiddos, which way to the coast?" Logan asked in curiosity but neither of them listen to him so he flick one of the kids in the forehead "Ussop pirates, where the hell is the coast!?" Logan asked with a frown on his face concern clear for his captain
Logan and the others were searching for Luffy on the hill till Nami found him down the hill with his face on the ground
So they quickly went there and Nami and the kids were talking worriedly thinking Luffy had died but then Zoro and Logan heard a snore coming from their captain "Be quiet a little please," Logan said calmly shushing the other group as Zoro smirked realizing that Luffy was just asleep
"This guy really," Zoro said with a chuckle as he poked Luffy with his sword Luffy lifted his head and yawned
"Was it a good nap you had cap'n?" Logan asked cheekily as Luffy looked at him groggily
"Where's the magician man?" Luffy asked with a yawn and Logan crossed his arms
"The own with the weird hat and glasses?" Logan asked in curiosity as Luffy nodded
"He was a crew member of the Butler, he called him Kuro of the Black Cat Pirates," Luffy said as Logan sighed
"I was right then, he was really a pirate," Logan said scratching his chin and grabbing his belt with his other hand "What did the fellers want?" Logan asked in curiosity
"They want to kill the lady of the mansion, and pillage the village," Luffy said as Logan's eyes winded
"They want to kill Miss Kaya!?" The kids asked in fear "And pillage the village!? Are you sure big bro!?" The kids asked as Luffy put his hat on
"Yeah, they say that mostly," Luffy said as Logan rubbed his face
"Boys, is better you go back home, pirate pillaging never ends well," Logan said noticing the frown on Nami but choosing not to mention it "Anyway cap'n," Logan said as he and Zoro put themselves next to him
"Why were you on the ground like that?" Zoro asked for Logan as Logan focused on the murmuring kids and what Nami told them
Then the straw-hat crew saw the kids running away towards the village "You know they won't believe those boys right?" Logan said looking at Nami with both hands on his belt
"I know, but better to get them out of here," Nami said as Logan nodded
"Good thinking," Logan said taking a cigar out and lit it up taking a smoke "So, what's our next move cap'n?" Logan said as Luffy's eyes winded
"Oh no, if we don't hurry the merchants will go!" Luffy said scared and Zoro swatted his head with the swords
"That's our least of concerns captain," Zoro said with a sigh "What should we do vice-captain?" Zoro asked as both older teens realized that planning was Logan's job now and that the only person who could say anything else about it was Luffy
"For now let's try and find Ussop, this is his island, we cannot start trouble without his permit, let's go," Logan said throwing his cigar away with a flick and helping Luffy get up
The crew plus the kids were now waiting on the fence from earlier as Logan had his back leaning on one of the pillars of the fence with his face hidden with his hat and his hands on his belt
Then he heard footsteps as he saw in his peripheral Ussop walking towards them and he saw Ussop's eyes widen when he saw Luffy
"Oi!, How did you survive the fall!?" Ussop asked in fear and confusion
"Survive?" Luffy said in confusion "Ah, I just fell asleep," Luffy said simply
"Yeah, he was just asleep all this time," One of the kids said
"Anyway captain, we know what happened," Another kid said
"We need to go and warn everyone of the pirate attack!" The last kid said in concern as Ussop looked at him with a sad smile
And then started laughing dryly and Logan sighed knowing well why Ussop was acting this way
"I was joking as always kids," Ussop said to the surprise of the boys "I was so mad with the butler that I made it up," Ussop said with a laugh as the kids laughed and the straw-hat crew looked at him blankly
"And you made bog bro straw-hat believe it huh?" One of the kids said as they walked behind Ussop and then they stop laughing as Ussop looked back at them
"Huh, what's wrong guys?" Ussop asked in concern
"We're starting to lose respect for you captain," The leader of the trio said looking at Ussop in sadness
"To think you would make such a lie just to hurt someone, and we believe it," Another kid said "To think we had such respect for you," He said as the kids walked away
"We're so disappointed," The last kid said as the trio walked away and Ussop looked at the ground with tightened fists
"You know, cap'ns always have to make the hardest decisions for the safety of their crew," Logan said from where he was as Ussop turn around "They didn't believe ya' did they?" Logan asked knowingly as Ussop shook his head "Come along, let's get that wound taken care of and plan ahead," Logan said as he stop leaning on the fence
"Why did you lie to those kids?" Luffy asked as the straw-hat crew watch how Nami fixed Ussop's wounds
"Because I'm a liar," Ussop said with a laugh "Your cowboy friend here was right, no one did believe me, I was so naïve," Ussop said with a sigh
"Even if you're naïve, the truth remains the truth," Zoro said with a frown as Nami frowned and sigh
"Those pirates are planning on attacking tomorrow right?" Nami asked in curiosity
"Yeah, there's no doubt they're coming," Ussop said as Logan scratched his chin "But everyone thinks I'm lying everyone still thinks tomorrow is going to be a normal day," Ussop said with a frown and anger
"So, we're fighting them aren't we?" Logan said with a knowing smile towards Luffy as their captain nodded
"We need to maintain your lie after all," Zoro said with a smile as Nami chuckled
"Fair warning, all their treasure is mine," Nami said with her tongue out
"Yosh, it's been decided, we're going to help you out," Luffy said cracking his knuckles
"You guys?" Ussop asked crying "You're willing to fight for my village?" Ussop asked happiness
"Well, they're going to be a lot won't it?" Luffy said rhetorically and Zoro leaned forward
"If you're scared you can change your mind," Zoro said with a frown on his face
"Scared, me?" Ussop said standing up "I don't care how much they are, the more the merrier for me," Ussop said "That's why I'm the bravest warrior captain Ussop!" He said clearly shaking with fear "Dammit," Ussop said punching his legs "Is no small problem, these are the Black Cat Pirates, of course, I'm afraid," Ussop said with fear "I won't accept your compassion like that, go away!" Ussop said
"Shut up dude, we're helping you because of your bravery," Zoro said with a sigh as Logan chuckled
"And because our captain wants a fight," Logan said with a chuckle as Luffy nodded vigorously "It aint compassion partner, if we help you, the lady will probably give us a boat," Logan said with a dry chuckle "And if that don't work, then we will take the Black Cat's ship for ourselves, along with their moneh," Logan said with a dark smirk "So liar, what should we do?" Logan asked crossing his arms
So then Ussop clear his tears and narrowed his eyes with conviction "Okay then, the pirates said they will attack the village at dawn," Ussop said with a frown as he directed them to a cliff "The only way to the village is on this cliff, there's no other way for them to attack, so if we defend this coast they won't be able to attack the village," Ussop said as Logan frown and scratched his chin
"I see, so it's easy right?" Luffy said and Logan cleared his throat
"Not quite cap'n," Logan said with a sigh "I see a little problem with your plan partner," Logan said with a sigh "How sure are you, that they will attack on this shore?" Logan asked in curiosity
"Ah well, I mean they met here, so I'm guessing they're going to attack here," Ussop said
"Yeah, but they saw you, so what says that they'll attack here, and not on the other shore that we put our ship?" Logan asked in curiosity as Ussop's eyes winded
"Shit you're right, so what do we do?" Ussop asked in curiosity and Logan rubbed his chin
"Okay, can I take the riens on this?" Logan asked and Ussop nodded "We're gonna divide ourselves, into two teams, one on this shore and the other one on the north one," Logan said with a frown "Nami and Ussop are one team and Luffy is on the other," Logan said as Nami frowned in confusion
"Why those teams?" Nami asked in confusion
"Because Luffy's our strongest member and you're are the weakest, sorry to be harsh but right now my mind is on keeping you safe," Logan said to the two teens and they nodded in understanding "Heads or tails Zoro," Logan said taking a berrie coin out
"For what?" Zoro asked in curiosity
"To decide who stays with Luffy," Logan said calmly as he waited for Zoro to give him his choice
"Tails," Zoro said as Logan flipped the coin up and then grabbed it in the air and put it n his other hand revealing tails on the coin
"Okay, you stay with Luffy and I'll go with Nami and Ussop," Logan said with a nod of his head as he flip the coin again and caught it again "Okay then Miss Nami, Mr. Ussop, we'll be going to the other shore," Logan said with a crack of his neck as they saw how serious Logan had turn
"Okay Cap'n, Mr. Roronoa, if they attack our shore, you'll hear a gunshot from my gun," Logan said looking at them "If they attack your shore, Cap'n you use your power to stretch your arm into the sky for us to see," Logan said with cold eyes
"Roger that," Luffy said with a smile on his face
"Okay then, we have our jobs," Logans said as he took a cigarette in his mouth "Zoro, if I kill more than you, you'll owe me a drink," Logan said with a smirk walking away followed by Ussop and Nami
"So, are you going to tell me why you rig the competition?" Nami asked in curiosity as Ussop prepare to lay some traps on the cliff "Why did you want to come here?" Nami asked in curiosity
"Because our moneh is on that boat," Logan said simply "Alongside my belongings, I mean I care for Ussop's fight, but my stuff takes precedence," Logan said with a chuckle and Nami snorted
"So, what's your plan?" Nami asked as Logan rubbed his chin
"I saw Ussop throwing the pachinko balls, he has good aim," Logan said thinking deeply "I'm the strike force, Ussop is the support, and you distract them while I'll give you an opening for you to steal their shit," Logan said with a dry chuckle
"Sounds good, and I mean I have my own mean outlaw to protect me," Nami said cheekily and Logan looked at her with an amused look on his face
"You're lucky you're cute because my services usually come at a cost," Logan said jokingly as Nami laughed a little "But I do have to say this, do not put yourself in any danger, okay?" Logan said with pleading eyes and Nmai grabbed his hand
"You have my word, I will not put myself in danger," Nami said and squeezing his hand as Logan squeezed back
"Also, I have a bad feeling, and I think they're going to attack here," Logan said with a sigh "I'm going to kill a lot of people, please don't judge me too hard," Logan said as Nami squeezed his hand again
"Don't worry Logan, I won't, I'm the last person who could judge you," Nami said with a sad look on her face as Logan rubbed his thumb on his hand
"This situation brought back bad memories?" Logan asked in concern as Nami nodded
"Why does every pirate have to be such an assholes?" Nami asked with a frown on her face
"Well, men like those, they're cowards," Logan said looking ahead at the cliff "My brother, Arthur, he used to say that people who prayed on the weak, they did it because they were weak themselves," Logan said with a sigh
"I hate those people, freedom is the best thing this world has to offer, I've seen it, even if it's at sea or in the wild lands, people with freedom, are a glorious sight, so when vermin and weak men take it away, well that gets my blood boiling," Logan said with a narrowed eyes and then he smiled as Nami saw the reflection of the sunrise hit his face "Freedom, is the real treasure I want to find," Logan said with a smile as Nami's eyes winded
A strange feeling grew on Nami that very moment, as her heartbeat went up a little bit faster, "Oh no, for him off all people? Dammit," Nami said as a blush started to form on her cheeks and Logan turn to look at her
"Everything okay Nami?" Logan asked in concern as Nami's eyes winded
"Ah, yeah, everything's more than fine," Nami said bashfully "You know, you haven't let go of my hand," Nami said looking down and Logan looked down also
"No I haven't, do you want me to?" Logan asked in curiosity
"Not really, I'm fine either way cowboy," Nami said looking straight into his eyes as they noticed how close they were to each other and it seems that both of them had started to lean in
"Yosh, I'm done!" Ussop shouted bringing Logan and Nami back to reality "I only had one barrel since I left the other one with that swordsman," Ussop said as Logan let go of Nami and walked forward looking at the sea
"What do you think?" Ussop asked excitedly as Logan took out a cigarette and lit it up blowing a smoke
"It will do for now," Logan said looking ahead and not at Ussop "Seems we draw the short straw, Mr. Ussop, Ms. Nami, please get some cover," Logan said hiding his eyes with his hat as Nami and Ussop saw several pirates rushing towards the cliff
"Mr. Ussop try to give me some cover when I need it, Ms. Nami, as soon as you see an opening, go rob them blind," Logan said throwing his cigarette away and lifting his mask to cover his face
"Howdy fellers! Beautiful mornin' don't ya think?" Logan said putting his hands on his belt "Now, why the rush, this town ain't havin' a party are they?" Logan asked in fake curiosity
"Hey cowboy let us trough or we will kill you!" A pirate said as Jango was looking at Logan with a frown trying to remember where he had seen the cowboy
"Nah I don't think that will be happenin' feller, you see I'm a tourist here, and like a good citizen that I am, I paid a visit to the wealthy," Logan said scratching his chin with his right hand and then grabbed his belt again before speaking again "I was goin' to rob them to be honest," Logan said with a dry chuckle "But I met the woman in the mansion, sweet little girl, pretty too," Logan said as Ussop looked at Nami in confusion
"What is he doing?" Ussop asked confused and Nami sighed
"Logan likes to show off, don't mind him," Nami said and looked ahead noticing every pirate had gathered closely together to get a good look at Logan "So that's your plan huh?" Nami thought with a smile on her face
"So imagine my disgust when I see that there was talking of murdering her, I was appalled by it," Logan said as he lifted his head up revealing his bright red eyes as they glared at the pirates ahead "So, please tell me you're not here to kill the little ma'am aren't ya'?" Logan said as he put his hands to the side next to his revolvers
"That's exactly right, now move over!" The pirates roared as Logan sighed
"What low men you are, all these men just to kill a girl," Logan said looking at the pirates with disgust "I'm in a good mood, been drinking all day yesterday and such, so I'll give you a chance, to head back and walk out of here alive, sounds good?" Logan said rhetorically and the pirates looked at each other and laughed
"You moron there's a lot of of us and only one of…" One pirate stared saying with laughter but faster than anyone could blink, Logan drew his revolver out and sot the head of the pirate killing him instantly
"Final warning fellers, go back," Logan said pointing his revolver at the pirates
"Oh god, he killed him, captain what do we do!?" One pirate said afraid and looking at Jango
"We push forward, he's just one man, and I'm more scared of Kuro than him," Jango said as he looked at the pirates "Forward men!" Jango shouted and as soon as he finished shouting five more gunshots ran out killing five extra pirates
"A shame, let's get this over with then," Logan said reloading his revolver he took out his white revolver with his left hand and started walking forward but stopped when he saw Jango taking his necklace out of his pouch
"Time is of the essence, men when I say Jango, you'll be ferocious and stronger," Jango said moving the necklace back and forth "One, two Jango!" He said as Logan hid his eyes to not be hypnotized
Then the pirate crew roared and one of them punched the cliff breaking it apart and making Ussop and Nami screamed in fear
"What the hell!?" Ussop asked in fear and Nami looked at Logan as she saw a pirate jumping toward him
"Logan look out!" Nami said and Logan didn't move an inch
"You're late partners," Logan said as the pirate suddenly was cut down and punched by a stretching hand
Then next to Logan Luffy and Zoro appeared next to him "What took you so long you folks?" Logan said shooting another pirate
"Our idiot of a captain kept getting lost," Zoro said with a sigh as he looked ahead at the scared pirates "What's the situation?" Zoro asked in curiosity
"Pretty much cannon fold, the dangerous one is the magician over there," Logan said pointing at Jango "Hey Cap'n think you can handle him?" Logan asked looking at Luffy who was breathing hard and with his hat hiding his eyes "Cap'n?" Logan asked in confusion as Luffy lift his head and roared with white eyes
"No way!" Both Zoro and Logan shouted with winded eyes and in irritation as Luffy roared "He hypnotized you too!?" They shouted incredulously
Luffy ran ahead screaming directly at the pirates as Logan sighed and pinched his nose in irritation "How can he be so stupid?" Nami said from where they were hiding
Then Luffy took care easily of the pirate crew with his Gatling gun move and glared ahead
"I'm questioning every decision I made right now," Logan whispered in irritation as he saw Luffy run ahead roaring scaring the pirates and Jango, but he left Jango alone as he went straight towards the pirate ship
"The hell is he doing?" Zoro asked as they saw Luffy trying to lift the ship with his strength
"You can do it Luffy!" Nami said and Logan looked at her with a raised eyebrow as he knew she was clearly lighting the fuse and she smiled at him cheekily
"Seriously," Logan whispered with a sigh as his eyes winded when he saw Luffy ripping off the mast of the black cat's ship
"Oh no, I can let you do that, when I say Jango you'll fall asleep," Jango said as Luffy stared at the necklace again "One, two, Jango!" The hypnotist said as both he and Luffy fell asleep instantly as the mast came crashing down into the pirates
"Captain quit playing around, what should we do!?" One of the Black Cat's pirates said waking Jango up
The hypnotist artist woke up and looked around at the unconscious and dead crew members and his eyes met Logan's who was glaring down at him hard making Jango gulp
"Shit if Captain Kuo sees this, we will be killed for sure," Jango whispered to himself as he heard two footsteps behind him coming from the ship
"Oi Buchi come and see this mess," Someone said as Jango's eyes winded
"What's happening?" Zoro asked as he and Logan saw two pair of individuals jump and flip behind Jango
"More weird fellers," Logan said putting his revolvers away and grabbing the handle of his rifle narrowing his eyes as he saw the two words looking at them in fear as Zoro looked in confusion
Then Jango order the skinny one, Shamu, to attack first, as the skinny pirate ran forward screaming in fear and Zoro let his guard down in confusion but not Logan
Nah, he had faced many guys like that one, and being in the Van der Line gang as long as he had, he knew a thing or two about pretending cowards, so he took a step forward making himself a target to Shamu
Shamu fell for it, as he stop pretending and tried to slash down Logan, but emphasis on tried as Logan saw the attack coming and roll out of the way taking his rifle down
"You fellers are so pathetic," Logan said irritated as he shoot his riffle connecting to the front of Shamu's neck and blowing it apart in a pool of blood and killing Shamu instantly "Zoro, these fellers are led by a man who pretended to be a butler for three years just to kill a little girl, they're cowards so don't take your guard down," Logan said without looking at Zoro as he's focus was solely on Jango and Buchi
"He killed Shamu, so easily," Buchi said as Jango frowned and Nami saw her window of opportunity to run towards the ship
"Buchi, you and me we'll deal with these brats before Captain Kuro gets here," He said walking forward as he saw Nami running towards their ship, Jango took out a metal disk and prepare to cut down Nami but the disk went flying away with a gu shot as Jango frowned and look at Logan who was pointing his rifle at him
"Try and hurt my crew again, and I'll put a hole in your head," Logan said as Nami arrived where Luffy was "This is your last chance fellers because I'm about done with patience, get on your ship and go away!" Logan said firing a shot at Jango's feet
Jango was thinking about doing what Logan was saying but then his eyes winded a thing Logan noticed and turn around and cursed mentally as he saw Kuro stepping on an injured Ussop and glaring at everyone down the cliff
"Jango! What's taking you so long?" Kuro shouted in anger as Buchi started trembling in anger after losing his friend and seeing Kuro there as if nothing happened
"Captain Kuro! Where were you all this time!" Buchi said running forward as Zoro prepared to attack but Logan shook his head and let the pirate run behind him
Logan didn't care for the fate of the Pirate but he knew he will distract Kuro long enough for Logan to grab Ussop and put him somewhere safe
Which he did as soon as Kuro disappeared to evade Buchi's attack Logan ran forward and grabbed Ussop and put him behind the rock where he was earlier
"Hey partner, you alright?" Logan asked in concern seeing the injuries on Ussop
"Bastard got the jump on me," Usso said as Logan took out a cloth from his satchel and a small bottle of whiskey
"Lucky you partner, I always carry small liquor on me," Logan said as he cleaned the wounds on Ussop he saw Kuro speaking to Buchi who nodded and then ran toward Zoro prepared to strike him down but Zoro cut him down easily Buchi fell in front of Jango as Zoro glared and pointed at Kuro with his swords
"Zoro, look out! He ain't dead yet!" Logan shouted as Jango hypnotized Buchi to make him stronger Jango looked back and threw a disk towards Nami intending to cut her down again but same as before Logan shot it down before it could hit Nami who had woken Luffy up by stepping on his head
"Oi Nami, why the hell are you stepping on me!?" Luffy shouted in anger but stopped when he saw that Kuro had arrived
"Luffy, is on you now, win this fight," Nami said taking a breath on the ground "For my treasure," Nami said and Luffy's sweat dropped as he grabbed his hat and put it on
"Okay whatever you say, I knew you were going to say that," Luffy said looking ahead as he saw someone approaching
Back with Logan and Ussop, Logan chuckled at the antics of Nami but stop when he heard some footsteps coming toward them
"Kaya?" Ussop asked in confusion as he saw that she was heading towards Kuro and he quickly jumped to tackle her away from his attack
"Ussop? Did he hurt you?" Kaya said as Logan straighten up and put his carabine rifle on his back and walked slowly towards them
"Kaya, what are you doing here?" Ussop asked scared as Logan put himself in front of them protecting them from Kuro
"Ussop, I'm sorry," Kaya said with a sigh "Maybe you won't accept my apology at this moment, but at that moment, I didn't want to believe you," Kaya said closing her eyes in sadness
"I didn't want to believe that Klahaldore was a pirate," Kaya said tearing up a bit
"That doesn't matter anymore! What are you doing here?" Ussop asked in fear
"Your man is right ma'am, you're in danger here," Logan said looking at her from his peripheral
Kaya stared tearing up and looked down at Ussop "But you came here to fight, I couldn't leave you alone to do it!" Kaya shouted with tears in her eyes "Even after I treat you so wrong, you continue to fight and despise your injuries," Kaya said crying a little
"Miss Kaya, what are you doing here?" Kuro asked trying to get into his character again as Kaya glared at him
"Enough," Kaya said "I'm done with your games Klahaldore!" Kaya shouted in anger standing up "Merry told me your intentions," Kya said as Kuro's eyes winded
"Then, your ruse is up, black cat, what now?" Logan asked putting his hands on his belt Kuro grumbled as everyone stared at Kaya
"Klahaldore enough, if you want my money is yours, but leave the village alone," Kaya pleaded and Logan looked at her
"Ma'am don't be naïve, this vermin wouldn't have been here for three years, just for moneh," Logan said with a frown on his face "Ain't that right partner?" Logan asked rhetorically
"You're not wrong cowboy, is no surprise you figured me out the first time we saw each other," Kuro said fixing his glasses "What I want the most is peace and quiet," Kuro said confusion Kaya "For over three years the trust between me and the village people grew and that gave me a sense of comfort and peace, that's why I want to feel that peace and quiet forever," Kuro said chuckling as Logan noticed Kaya going for something on her coat and walk to put himself next to her
"That's why, to obtain that peace and quiet that I want so much, my pirates will pillage the village," Kuro said pointing at his crew "And then you will leave me all your inheritance after you die," Kuro said "It cannot fail, my plan is perfect," Kuro said as Kaya's eyes winded and she took out a pistol but Logan grab it and slowly push it down
"Ma'am, I hate to break it to you but the man you knew for three years is nothing but a farse also put the gun down, there's no need for such a beautiful soul like you to step to that vermin's level," Logan said as Kaya looked at him and let go of the gun as Logan threw it to the side
"Besides, he won't do anything, he's too much of a coward to accomplish what he wants," Logan said as Kuro looked at him irritated
"What did you," Kuro started saying but Logan quickly fired a gunshot with his black revolver connecting to the feet of Kuro
"You heard me, I knew who you were, your crimes had made you famous, but you always did have a problem with the marine didn't you?" Logan said as Kuro grabbed his foot and winced in pain
"Three years ago you died, according to the rumors, but here you were, in a place so far out of reach from the government, and as a butler," Logan said with a frown "You already had what you were looking for, but you wanted more didn't you?" Logan said as Kuro glared at him "Is that why you killed this poor girl's parents?" Logan asked in curiosity as Kaya and Ussop's eyes winded
"Yes, the patriarch of the house was getting suspicious, so I poisoned them," Kuro said straightening up as he glared at Logan
"Just like you did with Kaya?" Logan asked as he pointed the gun at Kuro "I know the signs, black spiders poison, it doesn't kill anyone but it can make someone so weak," Logan said with a glare on his face
"Yes exactly!" Kuro said with a laugh as he put his hands to his side "I couldn't leave anything to chance, so I maintain her weak for her to only listen to me!" Kuro said with a laugh as Kaya started tearing up
"You're lucky my cap'n wants to beat you up, that's the only thing stopping me from putting a bullet in your head," Logan said with a growl surprising everyone "I hate coward men like you, you had the trust and the care of a good family, of a good girl, and you threw it all away because you got greedy," Logan said frowning taking off his face mask to spit on the ground "And then, you're not even man enough to kill her yourself, you needed a whole raid for what? To feel glorious, nah, you'll die here, of that I'm sure Kuro the coward," Logan said as Kuro glared at him and to the untrained eye he just disappeared and put himself behind Logan with his knives around his face
"Who's going to die now, cowboy?" Kuro asked with a chuckle but then his eyes winded when he noticed Logan had turned and was staring straight at him
"You are, slowpoke," Logan said as a fist connected to the face of Kuro sending him away "Are you going to fight now cap'n or should I just take care of it all?" Logan said as Luffy un-stretched his arm and smile at Logan
"I was going to, but I didn't want to mess with your moment," Luffy said as Logan chuckled "I'll take care of the coward, you protect the girl," Luffy said and Logan nodded
"Fine by me," Logan said, and then his eyes winded as the trio of kids from earlier jumped out and started hitting the face of the downed Kuro repeatedly
"Oi, you guys stop it!" Ussop said in fear as he managed to seat down as Logan grabbed one of the pans of the kids
"Hey kiddos, shouldn't you look out for your captain?" Logan said with a raised eyebrow as the kid's eyes winded and ran towards Ussop
"I knew it! Something told me that you were going to be fighting captain!" One of the kids said
"Why didn't you tell us so we could help?" The leader said as Logan approached Kaya making sure Kuro didn't stand up
"Listen to me! You need to get out of here!" Ussop shouted as Logan put himself in front of Kaya again which the girl noticed
"We won't!" A kid said
"We want to fight too!" The leader said
"Running away will be a shame to Ussop's pirates!" The last kid said with a nod of his head
"Try something coward, I'm warning you," Logan said as Kuro glared at him but turn his attention toward Luffy
"That hurt, plus that technic was weird, did you eat a devil fruit?" Kuro asked as Logan crouched in front of Kaya
"Yeah, I ate the Gomu no mi," Luffy said with a smile on his face as Logan looked at Kaya
"Jango, I'll take care of that kid, you make sure to kill Kaya and make sure that she signs the will," Kuro said with a glare "You'll need to take care of three insects and a cowboy though," Kuro said as Jango gulped looking at Logan but nodded nonetheless feeling more fear from Kuro than Logan
"Is our cue to go miss, ready?" Logan asked putting his revolvers away and putting his hands forward with a smile on his face "I'm a bad man, but I'm not them," Logan said as Kaya nodded and took his hand as he carried her bridal styles
"Hey captain coward, you're underestimating the will of the Ussop's pirates," Logan said with a smile on his face "Come on pirates, we have a princess to protect," Logan said running away
He heard Ussop screaming at the kids but he didn't care as he ran through the woods and noticed how restless Kaya was becoming and he stopped "Hey ma'am your boyfriend will be alright, I'm sure," Logan said as Kaya grabbed his chest and started crying
"I told him I hate him, how could he forgive me?" Kaya said with tears in her eyes
"You kidding right? He would be a fool not to forgive such a beautiful girl like you," Logan said cheekily trying to get a laugh out of the girl "He cares for you, he was prepared to put his life for you, I don't think nothing you say to him would ever make him hate you, isn't that right boys?" Logan asked as the crew of Ussop caught up to them
"Yeah, Miss Kaya, Ussop likes you a lot!" The leader said as Kaya teared up again and Logan frowned as he stared behind the kids and then to his side at a big rock formation
"Boys follow me," Logan said as the kids followed him as he put Kaya behind the rock "I need to handle the weird guy, if for some reason I get defeated, you boys take Miss Kaya here and run okay?" Logan said as the kids nodded "Take her to her home and barricade yourselves in her room if anything bad happens to me," Logan said as he prepared to stand up but Kaya grabbed his arm
"Wait, I don't want you to get hurt," Kaya said and Logan smiled at her, he took off his hat and put it on top of her head
"Don't worry miss, I'm strong, I won't die here," Logan said fixing the hat on her head "Besides I have to come back for my hat, don't I?" Logan said with a smile on his face
He walked away from the rocks as the kids and Kaya tried to see the scene but still wanted to remain hidden Logan took out a cigarette waiting for Jango to appear which didn't take long as the hypnotist artist appeared in front of Logan after a minute or too
"Ah, cowboy I found you, now where have you hidden the girl?" Jango asked but Logan didn't offer him a response as he just finished his cigarette and threw it away
"I do wonder partner, why are you following your cap'n's commands so willingly?" Logan said putting his hands on his belt "He deserted you for three years, and then he orders you to kill a little girl, which he served for those three same years," Logan said with a raised eyebrow
"You don't know my captain," Jango said glaring at him
"Oh but I do, a coward man who was afraid of the consequences his actions brought," Logan said with a glare on his face "If he was so scared of Marines, and wanted to live a peaceful life, then he shouldn't have set sail, and you know that, don't you?" Logan said rhetorically as Kaya looked over to the scene
"Yeah I know, that's why I have this last job for him, and then I'm gone," Jango said with a sigh as Logan nodded
"I see, so why don't you just pretend you're unconscious and I don't kill you, what do you say?" Logan said trying to save the man's life
"I can't, I'm the vice-captain of the black cats, I never break a deal," Jango said and Logan frowned
"So will you put your life on the line, for a captain that doesn't appreciate you?" Logan asked in curiosity
"Of course," Jango said with a smile on his face "How can I call myself a pirate then?" Jango said and Logan smiled
"I understand, my mission is to protect the lady, so I cannot let you through," Logan said and Jango smiled
"So one of us dies here, is that right?" Jango said as his hand traveled to his pouch
"That's the way it is," Logan said with a sigh "I like you hypnotist, and I'm sorry," Logan said and Jango smiled
"I understand, you're a good kid cowboy," Jango said opening his pouch as Logan's hand traveled on top of his white revolver "When I say Jango you'll fall asleep," Jango said as Logan stared right ahead as Jango grabbed the collar of his token
"One," Jango said as Kaya's eyes winded thinking Logan was going to die
"Two," Jango said as Logan took a deep breath in
"Jan!" Jango tied to say and took his collar out but Logan drew his gun faster and put a bullet in Jango's head in a blink of an eye and Jango died before he could even hit the floor
Logan twirl his gun around as he put it back in his holster and walked to Jango's body he grabbed the necklace and stared at it "Sorry partner, may you find a better cap'n in the other life," Logan said putting Jango's hat on top of Jango's face to hide the bullet hole and put the necklace on top of it
He straighten up and took out a cigarette and lit it up and finish it up in memory of the fallen vice-captain, he throw it away and walked behind the rock "You folks okay?" Logan asked in concern as Kaya and the kids looked at him in shock
"Wow, mister you were so cool!" One of the kids said and Logan chuckled
"Yeah, you took care of that guy so quickly!" Another one said and Logan chuckled
"I did tell you I was strong, come one is safe now," Logan said as he offered his hand to Kaya who took it and Logan helped her walk forward "So, are you okay, I'm sorry you had to witness that ma'am," Logan said as Kaya let off his hand
"Is okay, thank you for taking care of me," Kaya said and Logan scratched his head in embarrassment
"Is fine, it was my job anyway," Logan said with an embarrassed chuckle "Besides saving a cutie like yourself is no issue," Logan said with a chuckle as Kaya blushed and hid her face with Logan's hat
"There they are!" They heard Ussop shouting as Kaya and Logan turned to where the shouting came from and Zoro "Kaya you're alright?" Ussop asked when Zoro and he arrived at the area the others were
"Yeah, I'm alright, your friend here protected me Ussop," Kaya said pointing at Logan who nodded his head as Zoro put Ussop down
"We should probably leave you alone for a bit, get yourselves sorted," Logan said picking Jango's body up on his shoulder and stared to walk away
"Wait, your hat," Kaya said walking towards him and putting his hat on his head "Thank you again for saving me," Kaya said kissing his cheek a little with a big blush on her face
"Any time sweetheart," Logan said cheekily tilting his hat and turning around "Come on swordsman, let's go see our cap'n, wait why are you all cut up?" Logan asked as he saw the cut on Zoro's chest
"Shut up," Zoro said in a grumble "Bastard jumped my blind side," Zoro said and Logan nodded "Hey were you flirting with that girl?" Zoro asked in confusion and Logan chuckled
"A little, nothing harmful, just to take her mind out of things, doesn't hurt that she's cute," Logan said with a chuckle
"You're a playboy aren't you," Zoro said and Logan chuckled
"I prefer the term ladies' man," Logan said with a smile on his face as they arrived at the clearing to see Luffy resting on the floor with Nami on his side "So, have the black cats been taken care of?" Logan asked as Luffy sat up and both he and Nami nodded "Good, let me take care of him," Logan said as he walked past Luffy and Nami
"You killed him?" Nami asked as Logan turn to look at her
"Yeah, I didn't want to but he left me no choice," Logan said looking down "Besides, is the only thing I know how to do well," Logan said in sadness as he continue his walk
Nami looked down and grabbed a hold of her treasure bag as she kept glancing at his back "You carry a lot of darkness like me don't you Logan?" She thought as she saw Logan dumping Jango's body into the ocean "And why doesn't that keep me from liking you?" Nami thought as Logan crouched in front of her
"So what's our haul?" Logan asked trying to grab the bag as Nami swatted his hand
"Our haul? This treasure is mine Logan," Nami said holding the bag closely to her and Logan tilted his head
"Is our tressure, the crew gets is share remember?" Logan said as Nami looked "Forty for us, sixty for you," Logan said seriously and Nami looked at him seductively
"I mean, won't you let me keep this tressure because you have a sweetheart," Nmi said blinking sweetly "Maybe I'll give you a" Nami tried to say and Logan flick her forehead mid-sentence
"As much as I would like to darling, and trust me I want to," Logan said as Nami rubbed her head
"Then why did you hit me?" Nami asked with crocodile tears in her eyes
"A deal is a deal, so what's our haul?" Logan asked as Nami huffed and looked away
"About two million, give or take," Nami said with a sigh as Logan rubbed with his thumb where he had flicked her forehead and looked at her with a smile
"You still keep the most of it, I haven't forgotten about it," Logan said with a smile "And don't threaten me with a good time miss, or I won't be able to contain myself," Logan said with a chuckle as Nami blushed and looked away
"You idiot, don't say stuff like that," Nami said shyly as Logan chuckled and looked at his captain
"You alright there partner?" Logan asked and Luffy smiled
"Yeah, a little bit of meat and I will be okay," Luffy said and Logan chuckled as he walked toward where Zoro was
"Hey partner," Logan said taking a seat next to Zoro "You and I need to have a word about letting your guard down," Logan said as Zoro sighed and nodded
"Yeah, two times I have, not anymore," Zoro said as Logan nodded
"Look, you want to defeat Milhawk right?" Logan said as Zoro nodded "You and half the world man, and half of those people are cowards, if you have an enemy in front of you, make sure he's down okay partner?" Logan said putting a fist forward as Zoro nodded and bumped fists with Logan
"You ow me a drink you know, I did kill more than you," Logan said and Zoro grumbled as Logan chuckled
Luffy and his crew were eating again in the dinner after Ussop had thanked them for saving his village and they were already done with their meal
"We should probably get going, there's no much for us here no more," Logan said taking the last sip of his whiskey
"Yeah, we should go," Luffy said with a bone in his mouth and then looked at the entrance when a familiar person enter the dinner "Yo, ma'am!" Luffy said as Logan and Nami leaned forward to see Kaya walking toward them
"Hi, are you feeling better?" Nami asked ad Kaya nodded
"Yeah," Kaya said as she walked to where they were and looked at Logan "Your tea recipe did work, it took care of the venom's symptoms a little bit," Kaya said and Logan smiled
"It's nothing, ma'am, besides I think Ussop's stories helped more than me," Logan said and Kaya smiled fondly "A lover's help always does wonders," Logan said cheekily making Kaya blush as Nami swatted the back of his head
"You idiot don't mess with her like that," Nami said as Logan rubbed his head and grumble
"Is fine, anyway I wanted to thank you for your help," Kaya said and the crew looked at her "And now I would like to gift something to you, as a thank you, I hope you like it," Kaya said raising the curiosity of the crew
Soon the crew was on the shore and three on the see a caravel was waiting for them "A caravel!" Nami shouted in happiness as the other three men looked at the ship in a mix of wonder and happiness
"Is this really for us to use?" Luffy asked in confusion
"Yeah, it will be an honor for you to use it," Kaya said and Logan took a step forward and place a hand on the ship
"Is an old model but is a personal design," Merry the butler said with a smile on his face "This was made with the carvel method, it includes a bathroom and a shower, two bedrooms, and a room equipped with a kitchen and the helm of the ship," Merry said "I call her the Going Merry," Merry said and Logan smiled
"It's beautiful ma'am, thank you kindly," Logan said looking at Merry with a smile "Please explain to me and Nami all the details, I fear our dear Cap'n won't understand," Logan said as he saw Luffy running to the mast of the ship "Zoro, can you start unloading our stuff to the ship? I'll help you in a minute," Logan said and Zoro nodded
Merry explain all the details to Logan and Nami who nodded once in a while then they heard a shout coming from the cliff as Zoro was already on the caravel unloading the stuff
"I think that's Ussop," Zoro said having a better view than the others
"What is he doing? Is he crazy?" Luffy asked
"Anyway, we better stop him cap'n or we risk him hitting the boat," Logan said as Luffy nodded and both of them put their foot forward and stop Ussop from continuing as their foot hit Ussop's face
Zoro smiled at their work but then noticed a paper that had fallen from Logan's bag and crouched down to return it to the bag, but stop when he saw what it was some questions grew on him so he saved it in his pocket and looked at the scene
The crew finished unloading everything in the caravel and were watching Ussop saying goodbye to Kaya "You too guys good luck out there, hope we see each other again," Ussop said and the crew looked at him in confusion
"What are you talking about feller?" Logan asked in confusion
"Well, I'm going to be a pirate like you, someday we will meet on the sea," Ussop said and Logan chuckled
"What are you saying? Get on already," Zoro said with a sigh
"Don't you think we're crew already?" Luffy asked in confusion as Ussop looked in shock and then laughed
"That means I get to be the captain," Usso shouted in happiness as the crew laughed
"No way I'm the captain," Luffy said as Ussop ran towards the ship but Logan cleared his throat
"Hey partner you have a last thing to do before we go," Logan said as Ussop stopped and look at Logan in confusion "Go kiss her you fool, or you'll regret it," Logan said with a smile as Ussop looked back at Kaya who tilted her head in confusion
Ussop tighten his fists and shook his head as he ran and trapped Kaya in a big hug and a deep kiss which surprise Kaya but that surprise didn't last long as she grabbed his neck and deepened the kiss
"I will come back to you," Ussop said with a smile as he ran and climb the going Merry leaving a flustered and happy Kaya behind
They had made sail as Zoro and Logan brought a barrel of booze and a bottle of whiskey for Logan and fill it on their respective glasses
"To our new ship and to our new Nakama!" Luffy said as they all screamed and cheered together
They started drinking together and partying when Zoro cleared his throat gaining the attention of everyone "Logan, this fell from your bag, I didn't want to open your bag and risk going to your stuff just to put it back," Zoro said as Logan drank his whiskey and took the sheet of paper form Zoro
"Thanks, partner, did you see what it was?" Logan asked and Zoro nodded
"Yeah I did, I'm sorry," Zoro said and Logan shook his head
"It's fine bud," Logan said as he opened the paper and watch the content with a small nostalgic smile
"What is it!?" Luffy asked excitedly as Ussop rew curios and Nami swatted Luffy's head
"You can't just ask for personal stuff like that!" Nami said and Logan chuckled
"It's fine sweetheart, is nothing serious, is just my bounty," Logan said flipping the paper and showing them it, revealing the picture of a small kid about nine or ten years old, that looked like a younger Logan escaping a building with a big smile on his face
"Hunter D. Logan, the youngest member of the Van der Line Gang, and a demon kid?" Nami asked reading the bounty "Wanted only alive, reward," She said and then her eyes winded "Eighty-five thousand berries for your capture!? What the hell Logan, how do you have such a big reward!?" Nami asked in shock and confusion as Luffy's eyes shined like stars and Ussop was looking at Logan in shock
"Ah well," Logan said pouring himself a glass of whiskey, "That's a bit of a long story," Logan said taking a sip of his drink "Wanna hear about it?" Logan asked and neither of the crew could pretend like they didn't want to hear it
"Do you know what a Poneglyph is?" Logan asked
