Hello everyone! Wow! It has been a LONG TIME since I have updated this story! I am sorry for making you all wait this long for me to update it! A lot of things have happened and I have be putting hold on this story for a long time. I do apologize for making you wait! Now granted, when I wrote this story, I had this idea before a certain game released a certain character in the game. While I wanted to published this chapter when that game trailer came out, I didn't had enough time or energy to do so. But I hope you like this chapter regardless. Now, it has been a long time since I worked on this story, so my memory is a bit fuzzy, so I will try my best to continue this story without any problems!

But enough of that, let us begin!

Chapter 20

"Keep her steady!"

"I am trying, Captain! But it is no use! The weather is too much for her!"

"We can make it through! We—Hang on, what is that light?"

"I don't know, but it is getting brighter! Hang on!"

Sora and his group arrived at the Storm Coast for official business. Sora himself was excited due to the fact that he was going to meet one of Hawke's friends! Turns out that the Inquisition had received a message to head to the Storm Coast to meet up with them. With Sora are Iron Bull, Dorian and Varric to meet up with Hawke's friend and find out what aid they can offer for the Inquisition.

Sora turned to Varric and asked "So Varric, you know about this person?"

"Oh Isabela?" Varric asked, "She is a trusted ally and a close friend of Hawke. No one has seen her since Kirkwall."

"What does she do now?" Sora asked.

Varric replied "Well, she is still a pirate and has a new ship with her old crew."

"She's a pirate?!" Sora asked excitedly.

"You sure do sound excited," Dorian said.

Sora smiled and replied "That's because pirates are awesome! I even got to be a pirate!"

"You? A pirate?" Iron Bull asked, "I would say that there was no way you could have been a pirate, but after all that we have seen, I wouldn't be surprised."

"Well, don't get your hopes up," Varric said, "She is very hardened to the core. Whatever type of pirate you were, I can guarantee that she is way mature."

"Don't worry," Sora said, "Just leave it to me!"

After a while of walking to the shores, that is when Sora and the others noticed a few people standing by the shores. When one of them was a woman wearing exotic clothes, Varric motioned his head at the woman and said "That is Isabela."

Sora nodded and said "Alright then, leave it to me."

With that, Sora walked up to the group of pirates, was near Isabela and said in his 'pirate' voice "Yo ho! What is—"

Pow!

Sora was suddenly dropped-kicked to the floor thanks to Isabela's kick to his head. Both Varric and Dorian were shocked at this while Iron Bull was straight up laughing at Sora's poor misfortune. Isabela looked down at Sora and said "Next time you talk to me that way, I will use my daggers on you, even if you are boy."

While Sora groaned, she turned to Varric and said "Varric, good to see you again."

She then turned to Iron Bull and Dorian and asked "So, which of you is the Inquisitor I am supposed to speak with?"

Iron Bull replied "Try the ground next to you."

Confused, Isabela looked down as she saw Sora slowly getting up as he rubbed his head from the kick he received. Once he was up, Isabela then said "Are you all serious right now? This boy is the Inquisitor?"

"He may be young," Dorian said, "But he has proven himself time and time again. Just give him a chance."

Isabela rolled her eyes and said "Whatever. Anyways, Hawke informed me of the Inquisition and I believe me and my crew can help you."

"Great!" Sora cheered, "What can you do for us?!"

"For one, we can smuggle outside resources to Thedas," Isabela explained, "If you need anything, my ship can provide for you. However, don't expect to get your resources in time since it will take time for me to deliver them to the Inquisition."

"That is no problem," Sora said as he put his hands behind his head, "Take your time. So…where is your ship?"

Isabela pointed off the shore, where there was a ship off in the distance, as she looked at it and said "My ship is just right there. The waters are too wild for me to land my ship on the shore, so I had it stay put there until…"

"Uh Captain?" one of her crew mates said, "The Inquisitor is gone."

"What?!" Isabela shouted as she turned around and saw that Sora was indeed gone, "Where did he go?!"

"I think we saw him making his way to your ship," Dorian said.

"What?! How?!" Isabela asked, "We are far away from the ship, how can he make it to the ship that fast?"

"You would be surprised," Varric said, "He is very determined."

Isabela just rolled her eyes as she motioned for them to follow her back to her ship. Meanwhile, the crew on the ship were all in shock as they held out their weapons while Sora was rushing around the ship all excitedly. It has been a while since Sora has been on a pirate ship. Last time was back in the Caribbean world when he was on the Black Pearl with Jack Sparrow and on his own pirate ship. He missed the pirate life.

While standing by the mast, Sora was bouncing excitedly and sang "Yo ho, Yo ho, a pirate's life for me."

As he had his hands on the steering wheel, Isabela and the others arrived at the ship as she looked at Sora and said "Hands off of my ship, young man."

Sora whined while he backed away from the steering wheel while Iron Bull said "Don't worry about it, little boss."

Isabela sighed and said "As I was about say earlier, when Hawke sent me the message to aid the Inquisition, we already have brought supplies, but they are hidden in an island to prevent it from being stolen."

"And where is this island?" Varric asked.

Isabela replied "Like a day travel. It should be enough time for the Inquisition to arrive and pick them up when we come back."

"Great!" Sora said, "So what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

Isabela looked at him in slight shock and asked "You want to come with us?"

"Sure!" Sora said, "It has been a while since I had a sea adventure! It could be fun!"

Isabela sighed and said "Very well, but don't get in the way too much. This is just an in-and-out mission. We don't need any distractions."

As Sora saluted, Isabela made her way to her crew as Sora's companions looked at him as Varric asked "You sure you want to go with them?"

"Why not?" Sora asked, "Harritt and Dagna are still repairing my armor and no new news about Corypheus have popped up, so going on this smuggle run might help us keep ourselves busy."

"That sounds like a good idea," Dorian said.

After a while of preparing the ship, Isabela and her crew eventually sailed the ship to their destination. As hours have passed by since the ship set sail, Sora was excitedly hanging off from the side of the ship as he was admiring the sea. Seeing Sora happy, Isabela wondered about the boy and asked "He seems too happy about all this. What is his deal?"

Iron Bull replied "For one thing, he told us that he was a pirate."

"Him? A pirate?" Isabela asked, "Isn't he a bit young to be one?"

"And yet he is young to be leading the Inquisition," Varric said, "And yet, here he is doing a great job at leading it."

"He seems so childish," Isabela said.

"Well, he is still a child at heart. Can you blame him?" Dorian said.

As Isabela sighed and shook her head, Sora's voice then said "Um, captain?"

Alerted, Isabela looked over at Sora and said "What is it?"

"I see a ship incoming," Sora said, "And…why does it look familiar?"

Everyone looked over and saw a large ship off in the distance. When everyone got a good look at the ship, Iron Bull's eyes widened and shouted "That is a Qunari Dreadnaught!"

"What the!" Sora shouted, "Are they after us for letting their dreadnaught get destroyed?!"

"No…" Isabela said, "They are after us."

Everyone looked over at Isabela as she said "Um…I may or may not have stolen something from the Qunari recently."

"Oh Isabela," Varric said as he rubbed his eyes, "What did you steal?"

"I don't know," Isabela said as everyone gave her a deadpan look, "I don't know! Look, how about we get away from them?! Men! To your stations now!"

As she sent out the order, all of her men began to perform their duties while trying to evade the dreadnaught. While trying to evade the dreadnaught, the dreadnaught was somehow catching up to them and were starting to fire massive cannonballs at the ship. While some missed, a few managed to scrap the ship itself. As Isabela grunted from the attack, Sora looked back at the dreadnaught and saw more cannonballs being launched at them. Summoning his Keyblade, Sora leaped into the air as he deflected the cannonballs away from the ship. While he succeeded in deflecting the cannonballs, a few flew right past him as some of them managed to land a direct hit on the ship. As the cannonball landed a direct hit on the ship, it caused an explosion as it sent a few men off the ship. Grunting in frustration, Isabela tried to steer the ship away while Sora continued to deflect the cannonballs away. However, this did not last long as more cannonballs were being fired and they all landed a direct hit on the ship as they exploded, tearing the ship apart bit by bit. In annoyance, Isabela let go of the steering wheel as she rushed down to the captain's room. Before anyone could ask what she was doing, one explosion later and the whole ship blew up as everyone was knocked out of the ship. Sora himself was thrown overboard and landed into the water. The blast knocked Sora out for a while as he sank into the sea.

Sora coughed violently as he used his arms to slowly pick himself up. He felt wet sand under his hands and, when he looked up, he saw that he was in some deserted island. As he was getting up, he looked around and saw the remains of Isabela's ship along with a few dead crew mates. While Sora felt sad of their deaths, he heard arguing as he looked up and saw his companions in an argument with Isabela and what remained of her crew.

While Sora got up on his feet and slowly walked towards them, he heard Varric shouting "What did you think was going to happen?! You really think the Qunari was going to let you go with what you have stolen?!"

Isabela shouted back "Hey! I had sources that whatever is in this chest was valuable to the Qunari!"

While she held up a grey metal chest, Iron Bull shook his head and said "Do you know what's even inside the chest?!"

"I don't know!" Isabela shouted, "Yeah, I get that I needed the key to open the chest, but the Qunari was on my trail and I had to escape! And I tried everything to open it but nothing has worked so far!"

"Oh that is very smart of you," Dorian said, "Steal something from the Qunari that you have no idea what it is or have no way of opening it. What a fabulous idea."

As both groups glared at each other, Sora was finally near them and asked "Hey…what happened?"

Varric turned to Sora and replied "Well, aside from being stranded on this island, I say we are in deep trouble."

"Even though the Qunari blown the ship to shit, they will be searching for survivors," Iron Bull said, "Mostly for the 'pirate queen' for stealing what was theirs."

"Darn…" Sora said as he looked around, "So…any idea where we are?"

"Who knows," Isabela said as she sighed in frustration, "But it doesn't matter since our ship has been destroyed and most of my men are dead. All we do now is either hide from the Qunari or wait until they capture us."

"Trust me," Iron Bull said, "You do not want them to capture you. It is not pretty."

"So you have told me," Sora said as he looked around, "I mean…there has to be a way out of here."

"Well there isn't!" Isabela shouted, "In case you haven't heard, but we are stranded! There is no ship around, the enemy is on our trail and there is nothing that can help us! What are you going to do? Magically summon a ship for us?! I have heard of the tales of the Herald of Andraste, but this is not one of your little stories! Not everything will go your way!"

"Isabela, enough!" Varric shouted, "This isn't the kid's fault! Look, we are all stressed out right now, but we cannot let that get the best of us. Why don't we start planning out what our next move is before the Qunari show up, ok?"

Irritated, Isabela just turned around and walked off as she began to order her men to gather what little supplies they have left and gather any weapons to help them to defend against the Qunari. While that happened, Sora just sighed and said "This is bad…isn't it?"

"It is," Varric said, "Don't be too hard on yourself, kid. Isabela is…stressed at the moment. Know that none of this is your fault."

"Yeah, little boss," Iron Bull said, "If anything, it's really Isabela's fault for poking the bear too much"

"I did warn her not to mess with the Qunari after the last time," Varric said as he shook his head before he looked at Sora, "Right now, we need to prepare ourselves when the Qunari show up."

Sora sighed once again and said "Alright, why don't we look around the shores and see if we can spot them coming. Then, we can alert Isabela and her crew and from there we can prepare ourselves."

They all nodded as they all began to walk alongside the shore while being on an eye out for the Qunari. While walking, Sora couldn't help but feel sorry for Isabela for losing half her crew and her ship in ruins. And to make matters worse, the Qunari will be on their way to capture any survivors, which is bad considering what Iron Bull had told him about what they do to prisoners. And on top of that, since Sora is the leader of the Inquisition, if he was somehow captured, then the Inquisition would be in disarray and no one will stop Corypheus or what his plans will be.

While in thought, Dorian then spoke up by saying "Well, can't say this has been the best situation we have been in."

Sora replied "We have been through worse. I know we can get out of this…somehow."

"While it is good that you have a good view on the situation," Varric said, "But even I know that there is no way out of this situation, and I have written them, the good and bad."

"I agree, Iron Bull said, "Our best bet would be to take out the Qunari and take the dreadnaught. Though…it will be hard and we will lose a few people to do so."

"But I don't want that," Sora said as he turned a corner, "What we need now is…"

But the moment he looked up, he stopped as his eyes widen and said "A ship…?"

Behind him, Varric shook his head and replied "Spikey, we are telling you, there is no…ship…"

One by one, the group looked a head as they all saw the same thing: a ship that was currently washed onto the shore as it was tilting to it's right side. Everyone was beyond shock that there was an actual ship right in front of them! While the three companions all stared in shock, Sora's face brightened up as he rushed back to Isabela and her crew. When he found them and rushed up to them, Isabela saw him and asked "What's the matter? The Qunari here already?"

"Nope!" Sora said, "You are not going to believe this, but we found a ship nearby!"

Everyone was shocked at this as Isabela shook her head in disbelief and said "You are right, I don't believe you."

"I am telling you the truth!" Sora argued, "You can stay here all you want, but there is a ship out there and it is our only ticket out of here before the Qunari shows up!"

After he said that, he turned and headed back to the others as Isabela and her crew all reluctantly began to gather their supplies and weapons. When Sora returned to the others, his eyes widen in shock as he summoned his Keyblade as he saw his companions fighting off against a dragon! While Iron Bull was up and close as he was bashing the dragon's leg and Varric and Dorian were attacking it from a distance, the dragon roared as it shot a lightning blast from it's mouth at the group. While Dorian and Varric were out of the way, Iron Bull did move but the blast managed to graze him. Before the dragon could land another attack, Sora leaped into the air as he swung his Keyblade across the dragon's face and knocked it off balance.

The dragon shook it's head as it looked at Sora as it fired another blast of lightning at him. However, Sora was too quick as he evaded the dragon's attack as he launched a few Fira Spells at the dragon. Dorian himself was firing some lightning blasts, but they were too weak for the dragon. Varric was kept at a distance as he kept firing bolts at the dragon while Iron Bull continued to smash at the dragon's legs. Eventually, after a long and difficult battle, they managed to kill the dragon.

Once the dragon was killed, that is when Isabela and her crew arrived with their belongings and were indeed shocked when they saw a ship off in the distance. Still in shock, Isabela said "I…can't believe it. There's an actual ship here? And from the looks of it, it looks abandon."

"Well, let's take it before anyone else can!" Sora declared as he rushed off, "First one there gets to be the captain!"

Seeing the challenge, Isabela grinned and shouted "Oh no! I will not be ordered around by a boy!"

Soon after, she took off followed by everyone else. As Sora was getting closer to the ship, he saw a clear view of it as it looked very familiar to him. When he saw that it was a black ship with black sails, it clicked in Sora's mind as to what this ship was. And if that was true…then that would mean…

"Hey! Stay away from my ship!"

Hearing that familiar voice, Sora looked over as he saw a figure running towards him with their arms flailing around. Seeing this figure up close, a bright smile appeared on Sora's face as he shouted "Jack Sparrow!"

The person, now identified as Jack Sparrow, was startled by Sora's appearance as he declared "CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow. Fancy meeting you here, Sora."

"Boy, am I happy to see you!" Sora shouted in excitement, "I knew you would be here when I saw the Black Pearl!"

After a while, everyone arrived and saw both Sora and Jack talking to each other. When the group saw them, Varric asked "You know this guy, Spikey?"

"Sure do!" Sora said as he motioned at Jack, "This is Jack Sparrow, captain of the Black Pearl!"

"Captain, eh?" Isabela asked as she looked around, "Where is your crew?"

Jack stood quiet before he retorted "Where's your ship?"

"Uh," Iron Bull said, "Not to alarm anyone, but…"

As he pointed off to the side, everyone looked over and saw the dreadnaught off in the distance. Everyone was on their toes as Varric shouted "Shit! They are onto us!"

Sora then turned to Jack and said "Yeah…we are kind of in a hurry here…so…can we talk later?"

"Very well," Jack said, "Everyone, on aboard! Mr. Gibbs!"

Next to him, Mr. Gibbs rushed up to him and said "Aye sir!"

"Prepare to make sail!" Jack ordered as he looked down at Sora and the others, "Try to get the Pearl onto the water! The rest of you get onboard!"

Sora nodded as he looked at Bull and Dorian and said "Come on guys!"

The both of them nodded as they grabbed some rope and began to pull it to being the ship into the water more. Isabela ordered some of her men to help Sora and the others while she and Varric helped the rest carry the supplies onto the ship. After a few minutes of hard labor, the ship was already on the water and everyone was onboard as Jack began to steer the Black Pearl away from the Qunari Dreadnaught.

Isabela looked back as she saw the dreadnaught behind them and said "It's no use. They're on our tails, we won't make it."

But Jack said "I do not know what you're talking about, but the Pearl is the fastest ship to ever set sail. No one will catch us."

"Pretty bold to claim," Isabela said.

"Now that we have time," Sora said as he turned to Jack, "Jack! What are you doing here?!"

"What you mean?" Jack asked, "We were trying to figure out what our destination was until you showed up!"

"But Jack!" Sora said, "This isn't the Caribbean! You are in another world!"

When Sora said that, Jack stood there for a few seconds before saying "I knew that."

"No you didn't!" Sora cried out, "What happened after we saw each other?!"

Mr. Gibbs then said "Well lad, it happened like this: Barbossa stole the Pearl once again, no surprise there. But me and Jack managed to track him down and took back the Pearl. But as soon as we left port, we were caught in a terrible storm and we thought we were about to be sent to Davy Jones' locker…"

"Then the light appeared," Jack explained, "Don't know where it come from, but the next we knew, we were on that beach where we found you."

Confused by all this, Varric looked up at Sora and said "I thought you said that you and your friends were the only ones to travel to other worlds."

Sora thought about it and said "Maybe Jack found some type of portal to lead him here? But why?"

"I am not complaining," Iron Bull said, "We needed a ship to get out of the island and he had one."

"What exactly is happening at the moment?" Jack asked.

Sora replied "Long story short, we were on a smuggle run when we got attacked by that dreadnaught. Some of us made it out, but we got stranded until we saw the Pearl."

"I see," Jack said as he looked around, "So…new world?"

"Yup," Sora said, "But you have no idea how happy I was when I saw the Pearl again. Good to see you, Jack."

"A fine meeting to you as well, Sora," Jack said, "Shame that you don't have that ship of yours. And who's you're new crew?"

"Oh!" Sora said as he motioned at his companions, "These are Varric, Iron Bull and Dorian."

"What happened to your other friends?" Jack asked.

"It's complicated," Sora said, "Let's just say I did something I wasn't supposed to do, so I ended up trapped in this world until my friends find me."

"Spoken like a pirate, you are," Jack said as he looked back at Isabela, "Are we still being followed?"

"What kind of question is that?!" Isabela shouted before looking back, "The dreadnaught is still on…our…"

The moment she looked back, she saw that they were FAR AWAY from the dreadnaught as it was but a dot in the distance. Hearing her silent, Jack said "I assume that means we lost them."

"B-But how?!" Isabela asked in a shocked tone.

"The Pearl is the fastest ship," Sora said.

"And now that that's out of the way," Jack said as he turned to Sora, "What has been going on?"

Later on…

"Fascinating," Jack said after Sora told him of his story as they were in the captain's cabin, "Leader of an Inquisition?"

"Yeah," Sora said as he leaned back on the chair, "It happened so fast, but it is what it is."

"Congratulations are in order," Jack said as he drank a bottle of rum, "So what happens now, Sora?"

Sora let out a sigh and replied "We still need to get the supplies that Isabela promised to get us, but with her ship destroyed, we won't be able to reach the island."

"So what you're saying is…you need a ship?" Jack asked as he smirked at Sora.

Sora saw this and asked "Are you offering to help us?"

"I do," Jack said, "But of course, you know me, matey, I look for a profit."

"I am sure we will pay you for helping us," Sora said as he got an idea, "Although, why stop there? Why not continue to help us?"

Catching on, Jack said "You want to hire the service of CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow?"

"Think about it, Jack," Sora said, "This is a whole new world for you. Sure it will be different, but it's a clean slate for you. No one knows who you are, so why not let everyone know who you are?"

Jack thought about it and said "You make very interesting points, but what's in it for me?"

"Other than being paid for your services?" Sora asked, "We are going to pay you for smuggle runs, anything else is up to you. And think of all the rum you can buy with what we will pay you."

"You make VERY interesting points," Jack said as he rubbed his chin, "And just to be clear, I will be smuggling supplies for this Inquisition?"

"That is all we ask of you," Sora said, "Whatever you do with the gold we pay you is up to you. You can still continue your pirate life, but we would need your help from time to time. Think about it, no Barbossa, no Beckett, and no Davy Jones. Just you and the Pearl."

Thinking about it, Jack downs the bottle of rum, stands up as he puts on his hat, sticks out his hand and said "Well then, Inquisitor Sora, we have an accord."

Sora smiled as he stood up and shook his hand. The two then walked out the cabin as Jack shouted "Everyone! All hands on deck!"

Alerted, everyone got up as Isabela looked at Jack and said "Who are you to order my men around?"

"Lass," Jack said, "I am Captain Jack Sparrow, and I had an interesting talk with Sora. Mr. Gibbs!"

"Yes sir!" Mr. Gibbs said.

"Let's make our way," Jack said, "We have been hired by the Inquisition."

"Sir?" Mr. Gibbs asked, "You want to work with them?"

"Sora here made a few interesting points," Jack said, "After we get the supplies for the Inquisition, we will do what we do best."

Isabela then crossed her arms and said "You don't know where it is and I know the location to it. Unless you want to cut a deal or something?"

"Talk about that to our employer," Jack said as he walked up to the steering wheel and took out his compass, "Now, bring me that horizon."

It has been a few days out in the sea, but the mission was a success as they supplies were indeed found and brought back to the Storm Coast for the Inquisition to pick up. Isabella was still in shock on how Jack Sparrow managed to find the hidden supplies without any clues or help. Regardless, with Isabella's ship out of commission, the Inquisition had no choice but to enroll the service of Captain Jack Sparrow. Though Isabella had no choice by to join Jack's crew since she herself had no ship at the moment. But until she can afford a new one, she supposed she can put up with Jack in the meantime while Jack himself looked for any potential crewmates. Sora was just happy to have a familiar face around aside from Larxene, Marluxia and Luxord. Currently, Sora was back in Skyhold as he continued doing paperwork. His armor was still in repair and there were still no traces of Corypheus anywhere. It was like he disappeared off the face of the world. Regardless, he would need to be prepared when Corypheus reappears again and Sora will be ready.

Recently, a package arrived and it contained a strange looking amulet. Confused by the amulet for a moment, Sora suddenly remembered that this was for Cole to protect himself from being bind to anyone. Rushing around, Sora found Cole and showed him the amulet and the young man was excited that one arrived. The two headed over to Solas to figure out how the amulet works.

When they arrived, Cole walked up to Solas and asked "What do I do with it?"

Solas looked over, got up, walked towards them and said "You found one of the amulets? Excellent. May I?"

As Cole handed Solas the amulet, the mage examined it and said "It is simple enough, You put it on, I charge it with magic, and you should be protected.?"

Sora tilted his head and said "While a part of me hopes it works, another part of me tells me that this is far too easy for that to happen."

"Have faith, Sora," Solas said as he handed Cole the amulet.

As Cole puts it on, Solas began to charge it with amulet and, for a few seconds, there was a small explosion that blurred everyone's vision. While everyone recovered, Varric entered the room as he heard the commotion and asked "What was that?"

When he saw them, he said "Oh for…what are you doing to the kid?"

Recovering his eyesight, Sora looked at him and replied "We found an amulet that could help Cole protect himself from being controlled like that demons back at Adamant."

"But it didn't work," Cole said.

"Yeah," Sora said as he looked at Solas, "What exactly happened?"

Solas replied "Something is interfering with the enchantment."

"Something like Cole not being a demon?" Varric asked.

Sora thought about it and replied "Well…we don't know what exactly Cole it. But right now, we need to know what went wrong and figure out how to make the amulet work for him."

"I don't matter," Cole said as he walked away in panic, "Just lock away the parts of me that someone else could knot together to make me follow."

Solas walked up to him and said "Focus on the amulet. Tell me what you feel."

Concentrating on the amulet, Cole then replied "Warm, soft blanket covering, but it catches, tears. I'm the wrong shape, there's something…"

He then looked over at the table where a map was resigning, walked up to it, points at it and said "There. That way."

Looking at the map, Sora saw that he was pointing at the Hinterlands, more specifically Redcliffe, and said "Looks like we need to go to Redcliffe to figure out this problem."

Cole looked at all of them and said "Will you came with me? All of you?"

"Of course," Sora said, "Besides, we need to go there anyways to help out Varric's friend who's waiting for us by the entrance of the cave near there. We'll head there tomorrow."

"But Spikey," Varric said, "Your armor isn't ready yet."

"I know," Sora said, "Just need to careful when we head there. Let's rest up and make our way there soon."

As everyone agreed, Sora left the room and made his round around Skyhold until he arrived at the stable where he saw Blackwall just standing there staring at the fireplace. Curious, Sora walked up next to him and asked "Blackwall? Are you alright?"

"I am," Blackwall said as he turned to him, "Want a drink? I've a hankering for company."

While Sora doesn't drink, he could sense something was wrong with Blackwall and he needed someone to talk to. Agreeing, Sora and Blackwall headed to the tavern where they sat by the counter while Blackwall had his drink while Sora ordered a cup of milk. Neither of them spoke as Blackwall stared at his cup before drinking it.

Wanting to know what was wrong, Sora was about to say something until Blackwall said "When I was a boy, there were these urchins who roamed the streets near my father's house. One day, they found a dog. A wretched little thing. It came to them for food. They caught it, tied a rope around it's neck, and strung it up."

As Sora was horrified by this story, Blackwall turned to him and asked "Do you know what I did?"

Sora quickly replied "You saved it, right?"

Instead of replying back that he did, Blackwall just started at him in silence before he replied "I did nothing. Not a damn thing. It was crying. I saw the kicking legs, the neck straining and twisting…and I turned around, went inside, and closed the door. I could have told my father or alerted someone. I didn't. I just pretended it wasn't happening."

"I…I am sorry, Blackwall," Sora said, "But…you were a kid when it happened."

"And so are you, and yet here you are, leading an army against a being bend on destroying this world," Blackwall argued, "Me? I was old enough to know the dog was suffering and that it was wrong. I may as well have tied the noose myself. We could make the world better. It's just easier to shut our eyes."

Feeling the pain he is going through, Sora patted Blackwall's shoulder and said "I mean…it is okay to be scared to do what it right. I know that too well. But…you cannot let fear get the best of you. Being brave is more than just standing up for what is right, but it's about knowing that you're scared but having the courage to face them."

Hearing Sora say that, Blackwall chuckled and said "Look at you. You've done the right thing."

He then looked down and said "We're lucky there are people like you in the world. There's always some dog out there, some fucking mongrel that doesn't know how to stay away."

He then got up and said "Thanks for the talk, boy. I won't forget this."

With that, Blackwall turned and walked away. Still a bit worried about Blackwall, Sora doesn't know what was going on in his head or what was troubling him. While he wanted to find out more, it was getting late and Sora had to head out to the Hinterlands in the morning. Finishing his drink, Sora headed to his room and headed to bed.

The next morning, Sora got himself ready as he headed down to the main hall where he saw Solas, Cole and Varric waiting for him. Sora walked up to them and asked "Are we ready?"

"Just waiting for you," Solas said.

"Alright then," Sora said, "Let's head out."

They all agreed as they marched their way towards the gate. But just as they made it to the courtyard, a soldier rushed up to Sora and said "Inquisitor!"

Sora turned to the soldier and said "What is it? Did something happen?"

"It's Warden Blackwall, sir," the soldier said, "He's missing."

Uh oh! Looks like Sora will run into a bit of a problem before helping Varric and Cole! While you all know what will happen, Sora will be in for a shock!

And wow! Captain Jack Sparrow is in the story?! Yeah, I thought it would be funny to include him (mostly because I didn't like the fourth and fifth movie), so I decided that Jack somehow got the Pearl back and they were teleported to where Sora was. While this will be the only time we might see Captain Jack Sparrow, he will be mentioned a few times as the story progress. And yes, I wanted to release this chapter when the Sea of Thieves released a trailer when they were going to include the Pirates of the Caribbean content in it, but as I said, didn't have enough motivation to upload it. But I still hope you all like it.

Anyways, I hope you like this story slowing making a comeback and I hope to continue working on it. Until then, stay safe out there!
