"why isn't he waking up?" Donna asks the nurse concerned
"Don't worry, some patients just need a little longer. We look afterafter him" she smiles at her and leaves and Mike comes in with coffee
"Here" he hands it to her
"thanks Mike" she gives him a weak smile.
"Does the nurse say anything?"
She shakes her head "no, just that we shouldn't worry that he's not awake now"
A few minutes later Donna notices some movements from Harvey
"Harvey?" he slowly opens his eyes
"Donna" he whispers
"hey" she strokes his head "finally" she whispers and places a kiss on his forehead
Harvey grabs the oxygen mask to put it away. Donna tries to stop him but he does it anyway.
"how are you feeling?"
"my head… it feels like it'd weight thousand pounds but I think I'm okay" he says in low voice "what happened?"
"You collapsed in your office" He closes his eyes "I had a headache"
"yeah, it was because of the incident two days ago. you had a brain bleeding"
"what?" he asks shocked "I don't really remember, I was alright after I hit my head."
"what's the last thing you remember?"
He looks over at Mike who's standing behind Donna since he opens his eyes
"Did I throw up in front of you?" Mike nods "than that's the last thing I remember. I was hoping it was a dream"
But Harvey can hardly hold his eyes open and closes them "Harvey are you alright?"
"Yes" he whispers "just tired"
"okay, then rest" she says stroking his cheek.
The next time Harvey wakes up Donna and Mike are still there. MIke left for an hour to pick up some files so he can prepare everything later for the trial tomorrow. He finally found the evidence he needed to stop Tanner and safe Harvey's license. That's why he went at his office today but than Harvey collapsed and Mike couldn't tell him. It's not really legal but he doesn't care. Tanner's plan wasn't legal either so 'why not? He thinks.
"You're still here" he smiles
"Of course, where should we be. How are you feeling?"
He gives her a smile "alright I think"
They don't talk for a little while and Harvey notices that something is wrong with his wife. Donna tries to cover it up but she can't avoid it that he notices
"Are you alright?"
"yes, I am now" she tries
"What is it Donna?"
"Nothing, you should rest"
"Are you mad at me?" he asks quietly and confused and she just says it then.
"yes Harvey, I am. You promised me you would go straight to the hospital if it gets worse and I quote "even if I'm in the middle of a trial"
"Donna…"
"You collapsed in front of me in pain! I was terrified. You couldn't even speak because of pain. And then you just lost conciousness and stopped breathing" she takes a deep breath "I didn't know if you'd ever wake up again" she starts crying again.
"Donna… the pain… it progresses within minutes. I was about to go to the hospital when a huge dizziness overcame me and I fell. You can ask Mike, he knows" Harvey looks at him. Mike feels like he should leave them alone but Donna stops him
"No, you're gonna stay here" she says firmly
"He's mad at you, too" she says pointing at Mike what confuses Harvey again.
'why the hell should he be mad at me?' he thinks
"you lied at me about your dizziness attacks" says Mike
"you would've called an ambulance right away."
"and it would've been the right thing to do" she says mad
"Donna please" Harvey says and tries to sit up but closes his eyes as he got dizzy again
"Harvey!" she walks over to him
"I'm okay" he reassures her quickly
"I'm sorry" both say at the same time
"No… you're right. I should've gone much earlier. I just thought it's more related because of the lack of sleep I had because of the ca-… oh my god the case" Harvey says shocked and tries to get up
"stop it. Where the hell do you thing you're going?"
"I have work to do. Tomorrow is the trial and I'll lose my license"
"Mike's on it"
"he can't do that alone"
"he can and he will"
"Donna"
"No, don't Donna me. I don't give a shit about your license right now!" she shouts "You almost died because of it, because you took care of it instead of yourself. I let you convince me right after you hit your head and than I didn't listen to myself after you told me you had a headache and both times I was wrong and I almost lost you! You're gonna stay here and you're gonna do exactly what the doctors tell you to do because your license is no use to you if you can't use it anymore"
"Maybe you don't give a shit but I do. This license is everything I have"
But he regrets is before even finishing his sentence
"that's not what I-"
"yes it is" she says sadly, hardly capable of holding back the tears
"Donna I love you. I meant that it's… I- I can't do anything else. It's what I've been doing for years now. I didn't learn anything else. he pauses " You're the most important person in my life and I'd give everything up for you in a heartbeat. I need you to know that" he says softly
"Than proof it and stay in bed" she says and turns to leave
"Donna please stay"
"I need fresh air" she says
Harvey gulps "okay"
"You really scared her" Mike starts
"I know that! Mike I dind't mea-"
"I know" he interrupts him "and she does, too. You collapsed in front of us Harvey. And then you needed longer to wake up than the doctors tell us. She needs some space. She's blaming herself for not forcing you to go to the hospital right away"
"but she tried a hundred times"
"yeah, but you were in pain and she didn't notice and then you collapsed"
"did you tell her that it progresses rapidly?"
"I did… but I don't think I could connie her" Harvey nods
"I'm such an idiot"
"I wouldn't say it 'cause you're my boss and you could fire me but I won't contradict" Mike smiles weakly and so does Harvey
"Don't worry about tomorrow. I'll get it done" Mike promises
"I can't tell you more right now but maybe I have something to stop him"
"what is it?"
"I'm not gonna tell you anything that is work related. You need rest and I know your license is on the line but you need to stay here. Please just do what the doctors say. You scared her enough"
"You came to my office to tell me, right?"
"yes, but then you collapsed and lost the right" Mike smiles
"fair enough"
… … …
"I thought you wouldn't come today anymore"
"I thought about it"
"I am sorry" he says lovely "You have to believe me when I say that there's nothing in the world that is more important than you in my life"
"I know" she says softly "I was just mad at you. Mike convinced me that you were telling the truth. You're staying here?"
"yes. Mike will take care of everything and I trust him"
"but you hate it?"
"I hate that Tanner will win. There's nothing we can do anymore. He's clean and he has me by the balls. And whether I did it or not, I have no proof"
"But Mike said he might have something"
"I think he just wanted to calm me done so I don't get upset"
"I don't think so" she smiles at him. "Can I do anything?"
"yes" he answers "just come here and kiss me okay?" he asks lovely "it's what I wanted to do since I woke up the first time" and she does so. Than they hug each other. But the second it happens she starts crying "Hey" Harvey smiles at her "what is it?"
"You almost died" she sniffs "I almost lost you"
"You didn't" he strokes her back and holds her tight "It's not your fault Donna. I screwed up"
"I shouve insistsed"
"hey stop it! he asks her genty "I underrated everzthing, the dizziness, the headache… it was my fault. I'm here" he kisses her head "I'm alright" and she nods "I'm really happy about it" she cries
"I know" he holds her tight "me too"

"Morning" Mike greets him
"Mike hey"
"how are you doing?"
"I'm fine thanks. Could you… postpone the appointment?"
"No" Mike answers
Harvey nods "then it's over" he says quietly
"No I didn't postpone it 'cause I didn't have to. Here" he throws a folder at him
"He signed this?"
"He did"
"why?"
"I said 'please please'" Mike teases
"Mike"
"He did once something for his brother to safe him and it wasn't legal. I threatened him to tell the ethic bar if he doesn't sign this"
Harvey gulps at this.
"you did that for me?"
"of course I did it, and it's not nearly as much as you did for me"
"what if he would've said no?"
"Than I would've gone to the ethic bar. He can't take away your license and keep his own if he did something illagel and you didn't"
Harvey nods.
"and why didn't you tell me right away?"
"more fun for me" Mike smiles
"How did you find it out?"
"I know someone who owed me"
"You know someone?"
"no" Mike laughs "but it sounds cool and I wanted to say it… just once"
"I went through his life and everyone has something to hide. I just needed to find it"
"Thank you Mike"
"you're welcome" he smiles

"I didn't think he'd do that for me" Harvey says stroking Donnas head while she's lying next to him on his hospital bed.
"I knew he cares, too" she says and gets up to face him
"He was worried to death, too. He had to make CPR on you. I didn't even notice you stopped breathing. "He also brought a pill and something to eat after my dizziness attack"
"How many of them did you exactly ignored?"
"one that day and yesterday it happened two times… but I really thought it was because of lack of sleep and the same counts for the headache."
"I'm just glad you're alright. They said you could be blind or whatever else" she kisses his check and puts her head on his chest.
"yeah, me too" he confirms.
… … …
"I'm sorry I threw up on you. It must've been very disgusting" Harvey apologize the next time Mike visits him but he shakes his head "don't worry about that. I don't mind. I'm just glad you're okay" he assures him
"you really scared me… all of us" he admits
"I thought we don't care" Harvey tries to joke
"I never said that"
Harvey nods "Donna told me you saved my life… thank you"
He looks at him confused
"I stopped breathing"
"I did what everyone would've done… nothing to thank me"
"I was pretty bad, wasn't I?
"You still can't remember?"
"No and probably it'll stay this way"
"yeah probably it's better" Mike says
"why? what happened?"
"We shouldn't talk-"
"Mike please"
"After you threw up I wanted to help you to the couch but you collapsed on mid-way" he takes a deep breath as he remembers the scene
"you groaned in pain and you couldn't stand on your own feet. You just hold your head and said yu couldn't see anything. And then you told Donna you love her and you lost conciousness"
"she saw everything"
"yes" Mike whispers "you scared her to death, so please just do what the doctors say. She needs to know you're safe"
"I will" he assures him.
