Day 78
He had definitely made his place within the league. He wasn't really there, he was an intrusion. Sometimes he thought it wasn't fair. For him, the commission, or even the league themselves.
Hawks knew that for a moment he was lost but after hearing from Digit that Dabi was basically gaining a weakness felt like he had a new motivation. He could see clearly what the mission was again.
The sex, drugs, video games and 'bonding' was for a reason. He was undercover and he was beginning to come above the water to see that clearly again.
Dabi's walls were coming down for someone during pillow talk. He had noticed that Dabi was in the back room more often or out with a hookup. Hawks didn't realize that it was the same woman the whole time.
He may have stumbled but he wasn't going to fall. He had to separate the brotherly relationship he had built with Dabi. It wasn't real. The wall needed to come up and he needed to make sure he didn't rush into anything as he tries to get more information.
They were currently playing video games on the old couch. Relaxed and lounging comfortably next to one another. A scene that the commission would have questioned him about. The slight red tinting his dilated eyes hinting at their previous activities before starting up the games.
"Word in the sheets is that you're settling."
He notices the soft upturn on the guy's lips.
"Digits just pissed because it's her roommate."
Hawks didn't need to hear anything more. The way Dabi's facial features softened told him enough that he needed to meet the woman.
