Day 84
Hawks was at the apartment and it was just him and Toga. The others were off with the Meta Liberation Army. He was still not permitted to go.
He was currently listening to Toga talk about her stalking habits over her current crush.
"He does his wash on Sundays. Separates his whites. His car needs a new tire." She giggles, "Probably from the spikes I set out last week."
Hawks noticed a trend with her unhealthy obsessions with her crushes. But also had to give her her props on her stalking skills.
"He likes to go to an Italian restaurant every two weeks after he gets paid."
Though he couldn't say much. Just the other day he was parched on a building to see if he could learn anything about Ali and her new life.
He didn't learn anything and couldn't stay long anyways.
That's when he thinks about asking Toga to see what she could find out about his ex.
"Hey Toga." He interrupts the esentic girl, "Would you be able to find me some intel in my ex?"
The amount of teeth that showed through her smile was concerning and for a moment he had to question the decision he was making.
Clearly this was outside of the scope for the mission. It was all personal.
"Of course, I'd just want you to look and see what she's been up to. I don't want her to know that I'm curious." He speaks as he sets out the rules.
"Are you planning to win her heart back?" Toga's eyes glimmer.
He had to be careful with this. He didn't want Ali to get involved in something that could hurt her.
"I'm more so curious about what she's doing. And of course don't touch her." He gives her a pointed look as he types away at his phone, "No blood."
"Of course. I can do that Hawks-y." She looks down at her phone when it pings.
"This is her new address and a picture."
A gasp comes out of Toga's mouth just before she starts to bounce on the old couch.
"Oooo. This is Ali-kins. We've already met." Toga's high pitch carries across the apartment.
"Really?" Hawks lifts a brow.
Maybe they've bumped into one another while Ali was venturing into this side of town.
"Well Yeah. She's Digit's roommate. I only met her once and the interaction was short. Ali-kin's was too busy feasting on Dabi's face to interact with the rest of us that night."
