Day 86
Hawks has had many things throw him off of his feet but nothing prepared him for this. The commission had surprised him with various tasks in the past.
From missions to publicity stunts and anything they asked.
If he kept record of all the wreckage it would be used to weaponize his mind. Jerking his mind left and right and up and down. A rollercoaster of unseen turns that he had to pretend to be okay with.
He had learned to show teeth and smile. People bought it but if they really looked they'd see that the smile never made it to his eyes. He had to do this with Toga just the night before.
It was known that Dabi had shared women with him and he didn't want this to seem any different. That he didn't hold any hard feelings hearing new about Ali and Dabi having locked lips.
So he had to fake it.
"Well, If that's the case I can just ask Digit about her the next time we hook up." He had nonchalantly stated.
That was then and this was now. Today he was at a photoshoot and when they tell him to smile he couldn't help but feel an internal rage.
He didn't want to put on a smile for the commission. They were fake, the hero world was fake. Hawks was fake. Who was Keigo? He didn't see him anywhere.
There was nothing to smile about. He didn't want to be the sweet dream but a nightmare. He was tired of being polite and kind to these people.
And today was the day that he flipped his switch. Being uncooperative and he ignored the personnel talking shit about him.
Smiling and accepting everything led to this. It was all of that that lead to him not being with Ali and what lead to her somehow with the likes of Digit and Dabi
