Parr Family Fishing Super Trip

"Okay, ready to test out this new treadmill, little brother?" Karen asked while making some settings on the new fancy and advanced-looking treadmill with Dash on it.

"You got it! I can't wait to break this beauty with my awesome speed!" Dash grinned.

"You have if you break it, mom will have to pay for it and this thing cost like a fortune. As in hundreds and thousands of dollars." Karen mentioned.

"Fine, no breaking the new fancy running machine, but are you still going to take the photo of me breaking my speed record?" Dash asked.

"Sure." Karen chuckled and held out her smartphone.

"Okay, if I read the instructions right then this button should start the machine up to the speed of powerwalking." Karen said as she pressed the button on the treadmill, and it started moving with Dash moving to the pace.

"Powerwalking, are we really going to start with that?" Dash asked.

"Yes, we have to make sure this new treadmill is in working order which means we gotta do this step by step to make sure nothing goes wrong. If we try to speed things up, then we might have an accident in our hands." Karen stated.

"But going at a study pace is so boring and you know how I am with slow pacing, if I don't get any speed up then my legs are gonna turn into jelly." Dash complained.

"Whatever you say, Mister Speed Master." Karen rolled her eyes.

"Okay, I'm going to crank the speed up 15 miles." Karen informed as she presses the button.

Dash increases the moving speed of his legs thanks to his Speed Quirk though he is still unamused about this slow pacing thing, he wishes to go superfast and hope something would distract his older adopted big brother.

"Going up to 20." Karen said and cranking up five more miles per hour.

Dash gets bored with the slow pacing speed again though at least he's moving his legs a bit faster and then later the speed went up to 25, 30, and 35. Though Dash is still getting bored with this pacing and wishes there is something fun and going up to push himself faster and faster to go up the speed.

"Okay now to" But suddenly Karen's phone went off in a loud ringing.

"Looks like I'm getting a call, I'll be right back." Karen said as she walks away to answer the call.

"Hey Cindy, what's up? What? Wait, wait, what happened to Jimmy?" Karen asked.

Dash sees his oldest sister going into the kitchen to have a private talk with one of her friends who has gone for a phone talk and forms a grin on Dash's face that gave him the idea to see how this treadmill can really go.

"How about we crank this up to 50!" Dash smirked and press the up button to make the speed go up 70 miles per hour.

Dash feels the treadmill going faster this time and starting to feel like his legs are getting the needed exercise they needed, but this pace is only the warm-up for his legs and not feeling the workout challenge he was looking for.

"Hmm, I think this speed isn't doing much for me and my speedy need of a speedy challenge." Dash believed and reach for the button again.

"What? No way, did that really happen to him, by his own invention!" Karen shocked of what she heard from her friend just said.

Dash increases the speed up 125 mile per hour and now he is really starting to feel his legs are indeed getting the much-needed exercise he believes and is already having a blast with his legs and can feel like he is running free with the wind blowing on his face except there is no mind.

"I wonder if there's a fan mode on this thing?" Dash looked at the panel trying to find the fan button for a moment.

"Aw, here it is." Dash smiled and pressed it.

A fan came out from the button because the treadmill detected the runner to be a short boy and starts blowing some wind to make him feel cool during this run.

"Much better." Dash smiled.

"But would be much better is to get this thing to go faster!" Dash excitedly and raised one hand in the air.

Dash pressed the up button again and holding it down until the number went all the way up to 200 miles per hour, the speed Dash needed to push himself harder since this speed is about 10 miles higher than his own record or a little less.

"Now this is what I'm talking about!" Dash shouted.

"Oh man, and to think Karen was worried about breaking this thing." Dash chuckled.

"Well, the important thing is that he is okay, and his brain should be back to normal. At least I hope so." Karen said, worried for one of her friends.

So, far, his own self-training of his speed is making himself a little faster is going well and can feel things are going very great for him, but he doesn't feel like this isn't making himself feel like pushing himself through the limit.

"Hmm, this speed feels great and all, but I think we can do something more than this." Dash said, getting an idea from this.

"Now, let see if I can 210 miles!" Dash said and reached for the button.

However, there was a misstep during the running on the treadmill almost making him trip and his head pressed onto the up button too hard causing the speed to go up even higher than what he was attending to do as the meter went up to 300 miles per hour which is WAY higher for Dash.

Dash started to feel the major struggle of the 300-mile speed as he tries to keep himself on the treadmill though it only lasted for a few seconds and Dash is suddenly throw off the treadmill crashed onto the shelf knocking it down and the books pile on top of him.

"What the… Okay, great talking to you too, Cindy." Karen said before hanging up on the call.

"Dash! Is everything alright?" Karen asked as she comes back into the living room and gasp of the scene.

"Whoa, someone get the number on that treadmill." Dash groaned.

"Dash! Are you okay?" Karen asked as she get the books off from her little brother.

"Yeah, I'm okay, but man! That treadmill was crazy, it was like the numbers suddenly went up and then down then going up again and higher almost like it as glitching." Dash tried to make up an excuse.

"You turned up the speed, didn't you?" Karen asked, not buying that story even for a second.

"I was only going for 210 miles per hour, just that speed to really push myself!" Dash said.

"Hey, I heard crashing! Is everybody okay?" Helen asked, coming into the living roon.

"We're fine, mom. Dash just had a little crash from the new treadmill I volunteered to test out." Karen explained as she turns off the treadmill.

"Hey, nice word play with my name." Dash impressed.

"Thank you." Karen thanked.

"You weren't by any chance trying to get yourself ready for the track field race next month for you track field team, are you?" Helen asked curiously.

"Well, I do gotta make sure I'm in shape for the big race." Dash smirked.

"So, I take it you won't mind hearing the Quirk suppressing bracelet to keep you from using your Quirk." Helen mentioned with one eyebrow raise.

"Oh, I… kind of forgot about that." Dash exclaimed, scratching the back of his head.

"Well, I think you need to work on the normal speed of the non-Quirk if you want to make good marks on the team." Helen said.

"I am, coach said I have been doing great with my running without my Quirk and said I can make myself into the top five for the race!" Dash mentioned.

"That's great to hear, sweetie." Helen pinched her son's cheek.

"Oh yes, I almost forgot to remind you guys that tomorrow we're going for our fishing trip." Helen informed her two kids.

"I still can't believe you talk us into going on a lame fishing trip." Violet rolled her eyes while holding Jack-Jack.

"Come on, we used to have lots of fun together back in our old fishing trips when Dash was still a little baby." Helen mentioned.

"Oh man, I remember one time Dash took a worm that was supposed to be the bait for the fish and place it on his ear to pretend there's a snake coming out of his brain." Karen laughed.

"I want to try out scaring the fish again." Dash smirked.

"Well, you're gonna have a hard time convincing me to go on this trip." Violet refused to go on this fishing trip.

(The Next Day)

"I can't believe I'm going on this fishing trip." Violet groaned.

The whole Parr family are now inside the large van going through the wide-open road on their way to the fishing spot for their weekend fishing camping trip.

"Come on, Violet, it's going to be fun. And you'll love going away from all the modern distractions like being on your phone all day and keeping your mind off from boys too." Helen said.

"Like you with Deku?" Violet teased.

"Is someone talking about me?" Deku asked who is playing cards with Eri, Tsuyu, and they are with Cathleen and Camie in the back of the truck.

"Very funny, Violet, but I asked him to come along to help Eri get the experience of being out in camping." Helen explained.

"I'm looking forward to catch my first fish!" Eri excitedly.

"Great, but why are you guys even here exactly?" Violet asked.

"I wanted to experience what America camping trip." Camie answered.

"I'm also on vacation from my military piloting job, and it was great to come over here with the new portal Mei and Melissa that made it easy for us to travel around." Cathleen explained with a smile.

"Are we there yet?" Dash asked.

"Don't worry, we're just about one hour away from the spot." Helen informed as she looks at the GPS.

"Can't believe I'm gonna suffer the art of boredom." Violet sighed.

"Don't worry, Violet. I'm sure it's going to be a great experience." Izuku believed.

"Have you ever been out on camping before?" Violet asked.

"Maybe a few times when I was a little kid, but I stop going to camping trips when my dad started working oversea." Izuku explained.

"Oh, that means I can take funny pictures of Deku messing up to casting the fishing line." Camie smiled.

"Or a tent, ribbit." Tsuyu teased.

"Hey, I think I got the part of how to make a tent." Izuku believed.

(Fishing Spot)

Oh, Izuku learned the hard way of how bad he is at setting up a tent on his own as he now found himself trapped in some sheets and holding one pole up with his hand.

"Okay, I don't seem to know." Izuku sighed, admitting defeat.

"Allow me to help you with that." Cathleen offered as she untangled Izuku from this.

"Good thing there was this kind of thing for training in the military, a soldier or pilot must always be prepared for anything." Cathleen said.

Meanwhile, Helen is showing Eri and Dash to get the fishing line ready to be casted on the wooden platform and the mother is also hoping for some really taste ones this year.

"And you place the hook right through the worm and you got yourself a bait for the fish to bite on." Helen explained as she pierces the hook through the worm.

"I feel really bad for the worms." Eri said.

"Huh, that just how life goes, being used for something and trying to have a good life before you end up being inside a fish's stomach." Dash shrugged and hooked a fish onto his hook.

"Alright, now let see how far you can cast your line." Helen stood up.

Violet just looks at everyone seems to be having a good time, but she's not really into the whole fishing trip just feels pretty boring.

"You don't appear to be having a good time." A floating talking fish said to Violet that freaked her out.

"Hey!" Violet realized this must be an illusion.

"Sorry, just wanted to make sure you weren't too deep in your thoughts." Camie walked up to Violet.

"Do you always have to leave some of your breasts out for everyone to see?" Violet asked sarcastically as she looks at Camie's cleavage.

"That depends on what kind of catch I'm getting, or I would say that because I don't need to since I got Deku as my main man." Camie gestured over to Izuku now getting the tent set up with Cathleen's help.

"That guy must've really charmed you into being his girlfriend like the others." Violet commented.

"You could say it was a big surprise for me too, but even so, I love spending time with him every second with every chance I get to visit him." Camie smiled.

"Don't you go to the same school?" Violet asked.

"No, I go to a different hero school in Japan and my school might have a little history with UA though I won't go into the details since you're the type of girl who's not into school rivalry nor into cheerleaders." Camie said.

"Yeah, I just don't get why we even need cheerleaders in the first place." Violet said.

"Anyway, I think you should at least try to have fun with your family, especially in a super of heroes considered the kind of world we live in with villains trying to do really bad things. Like, really bad." Camie pointed out.

"You never know which day is going to be your last." Camie said.

"That is a good point, and we did have a big family moment back on that island and fighting that big robot." Violet laughed a bit and remembered how she felt truly free of herself.

"Not only that, but the hero work is a LOT more pressure than you think with trying to find the best way to deal with the villains to make sure they don't harm any innocent lives, and you have to totally keep yourself alive so you can do some fun things with everyone." Camie stated.

Violet looks around seeing Helen and Dash appear to be having their own fishing contest to see who can catch the most fish: the mom caught four while her little brother only caught two. Then she looks over to Tsuyu climbing around a tree with Jack-Jack riding on her back and Izuku flies up making silly faces for the baby to laugh.

"When you put it like that, guess hero work is a lot even there isn't a lot of villains to beat up." Violet said.

"That's because we heroes need to keep it that way, so we can have everything we want to do here. And who knows, maybe you'll have a thing for Deku too." Camie teased with an elbow on Violet's arm.

"Me and him? No way, I already have a guy in mind and Izuku is a nice guy with that crazy brain and powerful Quirk that comes along that cute freckling face, and he almost seem like a green bunny." Violet complimented, only to stop herself and realize this.

"Why the fuck did I just say that?" Violet asked herself in shock.

"Don't worry, you'll come to understand this soon." Camie smiled.

"Hey guys, we got ourselves some fun for dinner! And I was this close to beating mom too!" Dash shouted as Helen rolled her eyes.

"Come, time we have some fishes in our bellies." Camie smiled as she stood up and walked over to the others.

Violet is still a bit concern with the sudden realizing that she might have a crush on Izuku though it probably won't be big like Tony, but she'll worry about that later because right now, she needs to focus on spending time with her family and living the best life she can.

After dinner and some stargazing, the group went into the tents with the Parr kids going inside their own while Izuku and the other girls inside the other for their own private late-night fun time.
