Mergers (3/13): Mitzy, Bobby, Veronica
Nelly was standing in a large LA mansion with other rich people all around. The nurse was casually drinking red wine while sitting on a white couch. She casually shook her glass around, almost staining the couch multiple times.
"Welcome to the semi-finals of our long and painful season of Total Drama Arcade. Last challenge, our AI Monica took over the island and threatened to kill our contestants. Luckily I escaped before she took full control. In the end, the contestants that mattered managed to escape through my private helicopter"
She took a long, deep sip of her wine "Ah~ that hit the spot."
The host called for another cup of wine, which she grabbed and poured it all onto the couch "Anywho, our final three shall go head to head in the second to last challenge of the season. But we'll just have to see how a new setting will change up the dynamic in today's episode of Total. Drama. Arcade!"
Intro Starts
"Dear Mom and Dad, I'm Doin' Fine," Topher and Nelly stood at the front of the island, with the nurse rapidly measuring Topher's limbs and where his organs should be.
"You guys are on my mind." The camera zoomed past the two hosts to an abandoned-looking city. In the middle of the plaza was a giant pool that the camera dove into. At the bottom, Dylan tried pulling a chest up to the surface.
"You asked me what I wanted to be And now I think the answer is plain to see," Dylan felt someone tapping her on the shoulder. She turned around, only for Ian to come out of nowhere and swim away with the chest. Bubbles floated up to the surface, where Bobby floated on a raft. Bobby looked nervous about the water.
"I wanna be famous!" Colmillo was holding Mitch in a chokehold on land as the writer desperately tried tapping out.
"I wanna live close to the sun," in one of the abandoned buildings Camila was waving her hands around mystically over a crystal ball as Marty just stared past it and at her chest. Veronica meanwhile just crossed her arms skeptically.
"Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won," inside the crystal ball Camila saw Ellis having a casual friendly conversation with Thomas whose fingers were crossed behind his back.
"Everything to prove, nothing in my way" past the duo, Michael and Mimos were sitting on the ground in the middle of nowhere just enjoying some peace until Vinnie fell down on top of him with a beehive in her hands.
"I'll get there one day" beyond them Matt was using his walking stick to walk around when Vinnie ran past him with the bee nest in her hands while dragging Micheal behind her. Matt fell to the ground as the bees quickly swarmed him.
"Cause I wanna be famous!" back in the abandoned city Mitzy and Tess were lying on the ground, smiling to themselves as they drew a comic. Liz looked down at her work and gave her a thumbs-up before feeling Bailey hug her from behind. Making blood come from her nose. However, Maxine came in and stomped on her paper
"Na na na na na na na na" in one of the buildings Therion and Charlotte are playing a game in a room before Charlotte laughed confidently once beating the gamer. That was before another character suddenly beat both of them. They turned to see Asuka easily beat her while looking away from the screen.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous" Walter was looking around the dock to the island, as he walked he could see some footsteps on the ground as he slowly followed them. As he got closer to the camera he flashed a flashlight at the camera.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous" The light from the flashlight turned to the moon as it slowly moved down to the cast. Jaz and Antoinette were sitting together by the fire. Jaz saw the camera on them and quickly pushed Antoinette out of the way, trying to get the camera to focus on her before the other girl pushed her right back. The other contestants slowly whistled

The group of three contestants were forced to share a room in a nearby hotel. Problem was, they only had two beds. The trio stood in silence as they stared down at their beds, looking at each other.
"I call this one!" Veronica shouted suddenly before taking the right bed and wrapping the blankets around herself like a cocoon. She slowly reached a hand out of the blanket to turn on the tv and change it to another reality tv show.
Bobby smiled nonchalantly at Mitzy "I could get the left bed and then you and Veronica could share the right"
"I'd rather sleep on the floor" the artist deadpanned.
The camera hard cut to Bobby taking up the second bed while Mitzy was forced to sleep inside the hotel's bathtub. She quietly grumbled, having a hard time getting comfortable. In the other room she could quite easily hearing Veronica and Bobby watching a tv show making predictions for the current show of Total Drama. And just about each guest that came on was rooting for Bobby or Veronica over that poor heroic artist.
Even outside that obnoxiously loud tv, that they left on, it was a long night. Veronica and Bobby were quick to fall asleep in their big comfy beds at least. Mitzy just had to bare it, eventually falling asleep near midnight.
By 6 in the morning, a loud alarm went off in their room, waking everyone up "Goooooooood morning contestants! Sorry for the early waking but we gotta get you out and about before the homeless wake up and go on their purge!" Nelly's voice came from the door to their room.
"Ugh, just great…" Veronica whined, sitting up in her bed before going into the bathroom. Mitzy was pulling herself out of the tub when Veronica got in front of the mirror and started fixing her hair.
Bobby saw both girls were in the bathroom and just came inside to sit on the toilet "Boy, the final three is exciting isn't it?"
"Sure is" Veronica was now doing her eyelashes "But, I mean, of course I was going to make it this far. I can't even think of a time in this competition I wasn't totally sure I'd survive" she laughed mockingly.
Bobby smiled "Good for you" he turned to Mitzy "I hope we have a good game here, I'm sure you'll do a great job. But I won't let you win nope, nuh uh. No way no how. Not in a million-"
"Yea, I get it" she snapped, rolling her eyes. When she was finally out of the tub she left the room "I'm not wishing either of you luck, by the way. I don't think either of you deserves to get anywhere close to the money"
The slob shot her finger pistol "Agree to disagree"
Once Mitzy left the room Veronica looked down at the slob "Is there any chance you'll leave so I can actually get my work done? I'm quite sure you won't bother to fix yourself this late into the game"
"Sure, sure" Bobby grinned before getting up and waddling out of the bathroom so Veronica could continue to fix herself. Though she now had to avoid the line of sludge he left behind himself.
Mitzy got to the entrance of the building when she was interrupted. One of the workers was standing behind the receptionist's table and was holding up a box with a big grin "You're Miss Wakeman, yes?"
"Oh, yes, that's me. Is there something you need?" she walked to him, curious about what this might be.
The man happily handed her a box with a sticker of her face on it "This came in the mail, I believe your hostess sent you mail from your fellow castmates"
Her expression became one of silent fear "D-did she specify who this is from? Like Marty and Maxine… maybe?"
He shook her head. A sigh escaped her lips. She knew she would have to open this, and besides, what are the odds someone like Camila or Colmillo put Anthrax in her box?... probably very likely in truth.
She opened the box, holding her eyes shut, expecting the worst. However, inside, she just found a note. While a wave of relief washed over her, she grabbed the note and read over it.
"Heyy Mitzy! Just wanted to say you're doing an amazing job at this competition! Oh, and here's my number xxxxxxxoxoxoxxx
-Arin xoxoxo~"
Mitzy silently stared down at the letter. Her face flushed entirely red "W-was this the only p-person who sent me any mail? Y-you're not forgetting anything in the back… or anything like that?"
"Sorry ma'am, that's the only one we got" the man nodded as Bobby came down. The slob noticed the mail coming in and walked over, holding his hand out expectantly "Ah, sorry sir, no can do"
The man pulled another box out from behind, this one having Veronica's face "Got nothing in for you bud" Bobby slouched, for once seeming down enough to go from a smile to a frown.
"Aaaanyhow, I gotta go deliver this one up to Vero, so just go on outside" he waved them off before going towards the elevator.
The slob turned to his opponent, but he found her just walking outside "Wait for me" he spoke in a less cheery tone than he usually had.
Outside, Bobby and Mitzy stood on the sidewalk. They assumed they would have to wait until Veronica was ready to go, seeing as it was such an important segment of the game. So they stood in pure silence. The artist was focused on mentally preparing herself for the coming challenge. Bobby, meanwhile, was just being Bobby and watching a rat king fight over pizza.
After some time, she felt something tap her shoulder. At first she assumed it was Nelly or Veronica to show the challenge was starting. To her pure disappointment, it was just Bobby holding up a hot dog with a bandage on it "Want some?"
"No, not in the slightest" she tried to not vomit once the big slob devoured the hot dog in one big gulp.
"Hey hey contestants! Glad you all made it down here so fast!" Nelly suddenly appeared in a car, but she wasn't getting out. She just lowered the window "Hey, where's the third one? What's her face"
Bobby shrugged a bit "Not a clue, we haven't seen her yet"
Nelly sighed "Of course you haven't. Well then, if she's avoiding responsibilities we can get to the challenge at hand" she got out of her car with three paint cans in hand. However, the moment she got out of the car a swarm of homeless people appeared, snatched all of the car's parts, and ran off.
"The city… if I couldn't steal the homeless blood without anyone caring we'd be leaving right now" she grumbled, handing the two members of the final three their spray paint. Mitzy got blue while Bobby got green.
"Say hello to our next challenge!" the host jumped back to a more positive attitude "This challenge is themed after Jet Set Radio! In these games, it involves punks skating around the city marking their territory with spray paint. So, we're converting that to a little race. Whichever one of you manages to get the three landmarks marked first and second and reach me at the end, you win and get to go straight to the finale!"
Before either contestant knew what was happening Lana shot in, changed their shoes for skates, and vanished in a flash.
"What are the landmarks?" Mitzy raised an eyebrow, not wanting to get lost in the middle of a challenge.
"Oh, that's simple. You'll be hitting up all the landmarks of LA. the Hollywood sign, Griffith Observatory, and the LA National Cemetary"
The artist and slob silently glanced at each other before she spoke up "Y-you want us to desecrate a graveyard?"
"Yuuuuuuuuuup. I think that's exactly what I'm asking for" Nelly formed a massive, evil smirk on her face "If you want to make a million dollars, you gotta do some dirty things. Oh, and be aware that we have traps both at and around your destinations. So I'd focus more on that than your silly little morals"
Mitzy was about to argue with the evil nurse when she noticed Bobby was already sprinting away. Somehow he was a natural with skates, moving and dodging around the area like a ballerina.
"I'd hurry up if you don't want to lose" Nelly snarked down at Mitzy.
This was enough to motivate the artist as she started running after him. She was, however, not nearly as fast as the slob. Especially since she was running more than skating.
Nelly watched them run, a big grin forming on her face as she turned "Now then… we gotta find that missing third member of the finale. If those two make it to the end no problem that won't be any fun!"
She entered the hotel, hoping she would be asleep as she started a few… tests in the meantime.
Confessional: Bobby
The slob sat in a LA outhouse. Somehow it appeared cleaner than most of the are outside of it "Shucks, this season has been a blast so far! I didn't want to use those strategies and such, but I'm excited about this challenge!" he leaned back, rubbing his shoulders on the outhouse to scrape off the filth and get it onto him "I just really hope Veronica and Mitzy have fun too. Not fun when I'm the only one destroying it"
XXX
Veronica was still in the room. She had finished her shower and was now sitting down on the bed. She had a towel wrapped around her developed figure and one wrapped around her hair "I'm sure those two won't mind waiting a bit longer for me" she smirked while sitting on her bed and turning on the tv.
She hardly noticed the box set off to the side of her room. Her sticker was of her blowing a kiss, with a second sticker with 18+ on it.
To her surprise, the channel she turned to was the news. Local news in fact. At first it was an anchor out in the Californian country side reporting on the consistent wild then they cut to the important news. It played a scene of Bobby and Mitzy running through the streets on skates.
The reporter grinned while facing the screen "And it appears Total Drama is setting one of its final challenges here in our beautiful city of LA! But, with only Mitzy and Bobby out here running, it leaves us with one serious question. Where is the local fan favorite Veronica?"
The camera shifted to the side of the street, showing multiple fat men had painted the letters of Veronica on their stomachs while cheering on the two contestants.
"Wha-what!? They're doing the challenge without me!? They can't do that, I'm the star of the show!"
Suddenly the door to the room slammed open with Nelly walking in. She raised the purple paint can in her hand before chucking it at Veronica, knocking her in the forehead. Creating a 'doink' sound "You better get up and dressed if you wanna catch up now!" she laughed before slamming the door shut.
Veronica was almost red in the face angry at this mistreatment. She was the star of this season, and here they were berating and mocking her!
"Let's hope Veronica gets out here and soon, we wouldn't want all of her fans to break down on her not even showing up" the reporter continued. That's when it hit her. Not another can. But a genius idea that will land her in the finale with a 110% chance!
The rich girl casually pulled out her phone again, and raised it at an angle to show some of her more defining features. She also made sure to do a kissy face. With a snap of her phone she got onto every social media she could with a simple caption she knew would catch the interest of just about everyone.
"Heyyy guys, I'm in the final three of Total Drama Arcade. It would be soooo cool if you could all help me by painting some landmarks purple. It would mean the world to me xoxo"
She smirked down at her phone "If that doesn't do the trick, nothing will"
That's when she heard a commotion on the screen. Glancing up she found most of the men at the event were now sprinting at top speeds to get to the Hollywood sign and mark it for their queen.
Confessional: Mitzy
Mitzy was mid-run with all of Veronica's fans pretty easily running past her. She was already panting from trying to stay ahead "I… hate… these two" she spluttered out with a miserable wheeze.

The two competing contestants strode through the city, and while this wasn't too bad outside of the heat, they would find yet one of their first real obstacles. All across the road was a swarm of the homeless napping. Though these homeless seemed rather… different from your average everyday city people.
"This is the first of your many challenges" Lana quietly whispered into a mic. She was standing on top of a tourism bus with some journalists "Be sure to be careful here. I'd hate for them to do something to you"
"Do something to us?" Mitzy tilted her head "They're just homeless people. They're nothing like massive lions"
"Or soapy water" Bobby nodded his head in agreement "I don't think they'll be able to tell me apart from any other homeless man either"
Lana miserably shook her head at them ignoring her suggestion. As she made her disappointment known, a child who was playing kickball had his ball flung into the lion's den of stinky homeless.
No one tried to stop this child as he ran into the middle of the swarm. He grabbed the ball without any problem and was about to make his way back, when he accidentally stepped on a stray horn.
He looked around, trying to understand what that was. That's when the homeless all around that child started to wake up and stare at the boy. Many of them had drool dripping from their lips like a large cat about to find its prey.
The camera panned back to Mitzy and Bobby as they silently watched on. The boy's clothing was thrown off to the side as they easily heard his screams of fear and pain. Mitzy was totally horrified, but Bobby just smiled on. It took him about a minute of maiming to realize it was happening and to frown.
"Somehow they're worse than a pride of lions" the artist miserably muffled.
"That's certainly worse than the fight my family has over the Thanksgiving meal" the slob nodded before casually making his way over the herd. The homeless had mostly settled down after stealing that kid's money and all of his belongings, so they were back to their sleeping phase.
Mitzy truly didn't want to enter the lion's den, but simply had no choice as she tried to follow after Bobby. Unlike him, she focused on not stepping on any attention-grabbing items like that child had.
With the slob moving so much faster he reached the other end well before she could. Looking back he silently reached down into the pile of men "What is he doing now?" she panicked, picking up her pace.
Bobby pulled one of the many horns lying around and directed it right at her. She hadn't the time to react when he blew the horn as hard as he could and threw it into her arms. The artist's face paled as she looked around herself. Luckily, none of them had woken up yet.
"Thank goodness" she let out a sigh and walked forward. However, she wasn't looking where she was going and accidentally stepped on the face of one.
Each and every homeless man shot up and glared at Mitzy, growling like a violent animal "Ah bugger me" she muttered before a massive dust cloud of fighting took over the scene. At the same time, Veronica's hoard of men were running past at top speeds. Some were even pushing others around or stepping over them.
The artist just watched in silence from the dust cloud. She used all of her strength to push out of the pile as they continued to fight each other "Gotta catch up…" she panted, thankfully not having lost much of her attire.
Soon enough, Mitzy entered the hill up to the Hollywood sign. Many of the simps were even starting to outpace Bobby, but the slob seemed to be slowing down at the same time.
He was going so slow that even the tiring Mitzy managed to pass him. She glanced over her shoulder, not quite sure what he was doing when she heard a bomb suddenly go off. Her eyes shot forward again, and the realization hit her. Just about all of the simps were being destroyed by traps Nelly had set out earlier.
The artist tried to slow down and avoid going face-first into another trap, but she had gained too much speed. She tripped forward, which was the result of a trip-wire. She couldn't control herself as she rolled through the carnage that was this step of the race. At the end of her rolling, she could see a pit trap right ahead, only covered by leaves.
She shut her eyes tight before slamming into the trap. Mitzy only barely managed to grab the edge of the pitfall, though the earth surrounding it was certainly weak and possible to collapse at any moment "O-oh man, help!" she whined in terror, fidgeting in a panic.
None of the simps cared to help Mitzy as the cameras focused on how flat she was, for no particular reason. However, someone actually grabbed her hand and started to pull her up.
"Oh, thank you" she sighed in relief before she realized she was face-to-face with Bobby. The slob slowly stood up and gave her a thumbs up.
"Aint no problem. Can't let you get hurt none" he mused before skating to the monument.
It took the artist a good few moments to pull herself together again. She skated to the monument, finding at least one of the simps and Bobby managed to spray paint their own segments onto the sign.
A good chunk of the simps were taken out at this point, but once it was sprayed they ran right off for the next monument. Bobby, on the other hand, was kind enough to wait for Mitzy.
The artist knew she couldn't take too long, but she still had to spray the image of her hero comic protag onto the board "I don't know why we have to destroy a priceless American artifact for a challenge…" she muttered.
"I would whine less and keep things moving" Bobby spoke before skating away now that she was done with her drawing.
Mitzy scowled, once again lost on what that slob was doing or even planning. But she couldn't wait any longer and started speeding after.
Confessional: Veronica
The rich girl was typing on her phone with a big grin, seeing that her simps had marked the first of the monuments. She raised it up to show it for the camera "I know I'm a genius and everything, but this plan I formed is going even better than I could've guessed! Sorry Mitzy, Bobby. But you gotta work smart, not hard" she put her phone down to start filing her nails. Seeing as she had a clear lead at the moment.

Veronica strode to the graveyard, now fully dressed again. Naturally, once she was out in the open again the paparazzi were quick to take attention of her.
"Excuse us, Veronica?" a reporter suddenly appeared in front of her with a mic held up "We know a lot of fans back home have a lot to ask of you and we're just desperate to know about that!"
Of course, the rich woman's confidence started to gush out. She flipped her long blond hair "Oh, there's a lot I can talk about. Really, shoot right away!"
"Well, Veronica, we just had to ask. How do you keep yourself looking so beautiful?" Veronica's face lit up in a massive smile.
"Oh, there's just so much I have to do if I went into it in full we'd be here all day!" she laughed.
The camera pulled back to reveal Lana once again whispering into a mic "This here is our second pre-destination challenge. Once they pass the observatory they will be attacked by the paparazzi. And if they don't want to be distracted for long, they're going to have to contain their egos"
For our follow-up question. What do you find so attractive about Liz to have had any interest in her? You didn't show much interest earlier and you can clearly do better" the reporter asked with a big grin.
This resulted in the rich girl's smile to droop rapidly "I don't have to explain anything at all about why I might find her acceptable! She just knows a beautiful woman when she sees one and that's more than enough"
She was certainly annoyed by their question as she pushed by and continued her way to the gravesite.
Once inside, Veronica rapidly returned a pep to her step as she strode past the graves. Hands firmly placed on her hips "Now… I wonder which one of these graves was the target for that awful host…"
As she walked, she slowly came to realize there was a large statue deeper in the gravesite. From the looks of it, it was of a very important figure "Ha! Already found it! Now this is my kind of challenge"
She made her way to this statue when she heard a faint creaking noise. She looked around, not quite sure where it was coming from. That's when a coffin suddenly shot from an open grave, flinging Veronica offscreen.
The camera followed her, revealing she was trapped inside of the coffin. Her back was pressed up against the door and it was far too heavy for her to try pushing off.
"This is bad… wait! I can just call on my army of simps!" Veronica smirked and pulled out her phone. Much to her dismay, she found her phone was cracked and just wasn't working any longer.
"Oh this is just perfect!" she whined as the camera slowly pulled back to show she was totally stuck all by her lonesome.
Next up for those in the challenge was the Griffith Observatory. Bobby, Mitzy, and the simps were all at the base of the hill "I wonder what they'll do for this one" the slob laughed a bit, more excited to see where this goes.
As he spoke and they moved, everyone could hear a faint buzzing like something was powering up. They looked around, everyone felt pure dread when the observatory's telescope changed where it was pointing to aim down at them.
"That's… not so fun" Bobby muttered, fully regretting his words when it fired a laser down on them. He just barely managed to jump behind a large rock with Mitzy.
Mitzy tried to glance over the top, only for a laser to almost cleave her head off "This just feels excessive"
Bobby shrugged while grabbing a handful of pebbles lying around on the ground. His competitor wasn't sure what he was doing when he started tossing some of the pebbles over his shoulder. The observatory focused in on these pebbles and tactically blew them out of the air.
This was distracting long enough for Bobby to jog over to the next cover. Seeing the opening, Mitzy ran as fast as she could after him.
The observatory destroyed most of these pebbles before aiming back down at them. It directed the laser, and it looked ready to shoot Mitzy right in the head when Bobby reached forward and pulled her behind some bushes.
She groaned, falling hard onto the ground. When she looked up again she found the slob collecting more rocks to continue this alllllll the way to the top. But she just had to stop him, grabbing him by his shoulder.
"Hey, why are you helping me in this challenge? Does this relate to some evil plan of making me lower my guard around you?" she glared, refusing to fall for this trap.
He smiled back at her, shrugging his shoulders "I think you're just being a bit too skeptical of me. I'm not so bad"
"Oh please, you helped eliminate half of the people in the merge! That is pure villain behavior and you are not going to convince me otherwise. Especially when you sabotaged me earlier!" she crossed her arms and turned up her chin.
Bobby threw the rocks into the air before running forward again. He didn't even try to look back at Mitzy as he started running again, though the cameras could pick up that he was deeply frowning.
"Give up on trying to lie to me?" the artist taunted her foe, keeping close to him "I'm not someone to easily manipulate. I've watched you all season, I know just about all of your moves before you even make them"
"I wasn't trying to be the bad guy" Bobby actually glared back at Mitzy as they ran. The observatory focused on the simps as it zapped them, shocking them like a taser. Though he did have to duck behind a rock not far from the very tippy top. Mitzy flew in next to him, just barely avoiding another zap coming her way.
He looked down at her, still frowning deeply "I'm just playing a fun game, I thought people wouldn't mind! It's like, um, Mario Party. You play to win and you all shake hands once it's over"
"I don't know how many games of Mario Party include straight manipulation and playing everyone against each other" the artist grumbled.
"Guess you never played with my family" he chuckled "Once we get in the swing, last place has to do the once-a-year cleaning. I've never had to shower or wash dishes!"
She wasn't so amused by his statement, and really just ignored him as she kept moving. They were high enough now that she could graffiti the telescope with her logo before taking off. Bobby was now stuck playing catchup, with Veronica's simps still desperately trying to get to the top without taking a laser shot to the face.
Confessional: Mitzy
"Bobby can save me and try to talk all friendly and all that, but I don't buy his lies for a second. He still eliminated a whole bunch of people like their chance for the money was just a game. If anything, this all being a game for him just shows he has no moral compass to him!" she firmly crossed her arms "I've been in this game just as long as him, I know when someone's, well, bullshitting me!"
XXX
Skating through the city, they both found even more people cheering than before "I don't think you all would be cheering for us if you heard where we're targeting next…"
"Excuse us, Mitzy and Bobby. We'd like to ask you some questions!" the reporters tried to get in their way. But, neither of them were nearly vain enough to fall for that as they simply skated right past them.
"Sorry!" the two of them called as they disappeared into the distance.
Bobby skated right past her. She hadn't noticed but he was grinding on rails to the side of the road. They make eye contact as he did a radical hand gesture. Though he immediately gets sidetracked and disappears down into a railway subway.
"Nice try Bobby" she stopped her skating and ended up in front of a massive graveyard. All of her excitement left pretty much immediately while walking in.
"S-sorry everyone" she apologized to each grave, not sure which one she was supposed to desecrate. That's when she noticed a small paper sign hung up on one of the graves pointing further head to show where they need to paint "Oh, that's a relief"
She was about to skate forward when she could hear Veronica's shrill and, yes, annoying screams for attention. Mitzy had the full intention of just ignoring her when she noticed the coffin lying out in the open.
"Veronica… are you in there?" she skated closer, but kept her distance in case it was another trap.
"Yes I'm in here!" she snapped angrily "I need you to help me out of here!"
Mitzy was about to do what she asked, before fully realizing the situation "You know Veronica, I could help you and all. But I feel like this is a bit too perfectly fitting for you"
"What could you possibly mean by that!? I'll have you know I haven't done a single thing wrong that would make this seem reasonable!" even in her situation she sounded as whiny as usual.
"It's called karma" the artist noted almost smugly "You cheated in this challenge and so you got stuck and can't complete the challenge anymore! Let that be a lesson to you. You can take the easy way out of situations, but it will always come back to bite you in the buns!"
She turned to leave the defeated villain to wallow in her own failure when she noticed Bobby was already halfway through the graveyard with his skates. Even the simps were beginning to enter through the gates.
"Ah, got caught up too long in my heroic monologue!" Mitzy sprinted away.
Bobby and Mitzy made their way up a flight of steps to a second level of the gravesite. Further ahead they found the grave with multiple pointing fingers directed at it. From where they were they could see the grave was of California's most successful politician, Richard Nixon.
They were about to spraypaint the statue when a figure suddenly shot out from behind it. They were the definition of a nerd and had big swirly glasses to boot "Excuse me, but before you can do that you'll have to answer a single Nixon factoid!" they pushed said glasses up as they spoke.
"Ugh, another challenge?" Bobby groaned.
"Haven't we already gone through enough of those?" Mitzy begrudgingly agreed with the big slob.
"YOU WILL ANSWER THE QUESTIONS!" they screamed in a high-pitched tone, which rather quickly shut them up "Excellent. Now then, who was Nixon's original Vice-President?"
"Why would we know that?" Mitzy asked, exasperatedly.
Bobby had a coy smile "This one's so obvious. Did you really not pay any attention in your history classes?" he teased.
"Just answer his question" she snapped back, unamused.
The slob frowned at her snap but nodded "It was Spiro Agnew. He had to step down before Nixon. He also ended up being corrupt, who would've guessed"
"You may protheeed" the nerd stepped aside, letting Bobby skate away. Now that he had a solid lead he was far more comfortable in taking it slow. The route to the end of the race was through a large forest of big red trees.
The judge turned right back around. He closed his eyes and raised his chin to show his superiority to her "Just so you know. That was the easiest question in my lineup"
Further back, Veronica was lying under the coffin. She was pretty ready to just give up and accept that her genius, for once, had failed. But, suddenly, the top of the coffin started to creak and splinter. It almost looked like it was about to cave in on her.
"What's this?" she whispered. No more contact came, so she silently reached forward and used her nails to claw through the rest of the wood. By the time she was freed again, no one was around. But she could hear Bobby's faint skating out of the cemetery.
"Whatever" she got up and followed the same signs Mitzy had. When she got to her opponent, the artist looked ready to stomp on the little nerd.
"That is five incorrect questions. If I were your mother, I would quite honestly be changing my last name"
Mitzy moved her hands into a strangling gesture as she took another step closer to him "Why you…"
"Ah, our third contestant has finally arrived" he smiled and stepped to the side to greet Veronica "But do not expect me to be wooed by your 3d form temptress!"
Veronica physically recoiled at the sight of this nerd talking to her like that "Trust me, flirting with you is the last thing I was planning"
He slowly nodded his head, like he was soaking in what she said "Well, if that's the case… we're going to have to up ze anty" he pulled out a remote and pressed down on a big red button. Nixon's head statue opened its mouth to direct a cannon at them "Get one more question wrong and I shall have to use force"
"Just ask your stupid question" the rich girl rolled her eyes, wanting to get through this already.
"Right then. For our next question, we'll be going for one later in his presidency. When, did Richard Nixon meet Mao Ze Dong for opening relation- AAAAHHHHH!"
The nerd screamed in absolute agony as Veronica raised his glasses and sprayed his open eyes with the spray can "WHYYYYY!" he cried out. Of course she ignored his agony and spray painted the statue before taking off.
Mitzy silently stared down at him. She felt truly conflicted, but eventually did the right thing. She stepped over the fallen man and sprayed the statue before chasing after the others. At the very least, the artist had the courtesy to call "Sorry sir!" as she went into the nearby forests.
"You women shall not escape my wrath!" he held up the remote and started pressing it over and over again. He couldn't aim due to the whole paint-in-the-eyes thing, so his cannon balls just went in any which direction.
Confessional: Mitzy
She had a respirator on her face but generally looked fine "You know, usually I hate to have a nerd or someone weak be taken down or harmed in a way such as that. But in this case… I can't say I didn't see the reason for it. Ugh, didn't think I'd understand how bullies think today, but here I am"

Thanks to California's hot air, even just this measly action resulted in a forest fire. One would expect this to make a panic in the city, but most of them continued on their day as if nothing had changed.
"Welcome to your last challenge!" Nelly's voice replaced Lana's above them "So… originally we were only doing a relay race here. But this is much better! Now you gotta get through this flaming forest, and try to not get lost. I would hate to have to find your extra crispy corpse in the morgue. Well, unless they have some ranch off to the side"
Mitzy and Veronica shuddered at the implication. The fire had only just started but it was certainly starting to pick up and grow all around them. Smoke was puffing out into the sky, as well as clogging their lungs.
They made a good amount of progress through the trail, but the fire was only getting worse. And they hadn't seen any hint of the ending. They hadn't even seen Bobby for some time. Seeing as their host was Nelly, it seemed far more likely she just wanted them to die out there than make it back to her.
"T-this state is horrible!" Veronica muttered before entering a coughing fit. The smoke was getting so bad that she just collapsed onto the ground.
Mitzy wasn't holding on much better but kept desperately moving. She wasn't even moving her legs at this point, just letting the skates carry her forward. Mitzy was so close to the fires that she was building a serious sweat.
"I can't believe I'm not dying in the effort to defeat some evil. I'm going down in the middle of a random wildfire…" she miserably groaned before collapsing at the base of a tree.
The artist failed to maintain consciousness for much longer. But she could see someone stepping towards her. They seemed totally unbothered by the burning trees and smoke.
Veronica and Mitzy eventually regained consciousness. Instead of being stuck in a massive forest, they were at the end with Nelly staring down at them "About time you two woke up! I need my finalists breathing until the cash is handed out"
"F-finalists?" the artist asked slowly. She sat up and shook her head clean of the ashes.
"That's right! You two made it here before Bobby, meaning you're both in the running for our big grand reward of a million dollars!" their host threw some confetti in their faces.
It took them a moment before Veronica shot up and laughed loud enough for the whole city to hear "Of course I'm in the finale! I would be shocked by any other outcome really! Oh, oh. I should go and celebrate!"
"Don't go too far" Nelly warned "I gotta be able to find you when we take off for our final challenge!"
The rich girl seemed to just ignore her warning and kept walking away while snapping more photos "I can't wait to eat her kidney…" Nelly squinted her eyes and glared.
"H-hold on a moment!" Mitzy shot from the ground "How did the two of us make it into the finale? I was so certain Bobby was ahead of us!"
Nelly smirked, shrugging a bit "I haven't seen that slob either. Who knows where he might be off to"
As she spoke, they could hear skating. Turning their heads, they found Bobby skating through the ashes. He didn't come to a stop until he was right in front of the artist "Shucks. I guess I got last place, huh"
"You sure did" the artist nodded firmly "I hope you've learned that playing the villain doesn't play and that you hurt a lot of people!"
"You did prove me wrong" he smiled "my way of playing was never going to last. I'm going to make sure I apologize to everyone when I meet them. I know I'll be rooting for you and the money ending up in good hands!"
Mitzy silently stared at him. Her eyes were wide in silent surprise "I… must admit I was hoping you would be more sour about losing so I could make my point more thoroughly. But I'm glad you've learned your lesson! If you try and sabotage someone in any future endeavors I'll be sure to stop you in your tracks!"
"Got that right" Bobby gave her a big thumbs up. That was the last thing he said as he slowly backed away into the ashes, still leaving her entirely dumbfounded.
Confessional: Mitzy
"I'm still not entirely sure how we got out of that fire unharmed. But I can't say I'm not still a bit disappointed" she admitted "He was playing mastermind through the merge and then just kind of gave up right at the end? It's a bit infuriating but I'll live at least knowing he won't be getting any of the cash prize. That's what is most important"
Confessional: Bobby
The slob rubbed some ointment on the burn marks he received at the end of that challenge "It might be a bit silly for me to just throw the victory away and all that. But I honestly can't say Mitzy wasn't right about me earlier. I was playing this game way too seriously. To the point that I was really the only one having fun at this point. And that isn't very fun either…" a big dumb grin formed on his face "And I can't say it isn't funny to not let Mitzy have her big hero v villain ending. Because that is pretty hilarious if you ask me!" he giggled.

Veronica was back in the apartment, enjoying a nice moment in the bath alone. She was taking the moment to just enjoy some relaxation before the finale would come around. All that ash and sweat was just not good for her reflection.
While resting peacefully, she finally noticed the box that was lying around with her name on it "Ah, one of my simps must have sent me this. Likely that one boy, Mark I think it was"
She smirked while opening the box. Just expecting some flowers or something. However, when she opened it she found something unseen by the camera. She stared at its interior before slowly submerging in the water so only the top of her head was seen. Her face was a blushing mess.
"Wow" Veronica muffled into the water.
AN: And now we're onto our finale. Veronica the Rich Girl vs Mitzy the Comic Artist. I am glad at least most people seemed to enjoy Bobby as our big bad, especially with him sort of being a surprise since he wasn't even really trying at the start. But I just couldn't put him in the finale. Most of the merge you could say I did his character a bit wrong or just not in line with how his app goes so I just don't think I can have him win or anything like that. Still, thank you Clown Princess for sending him in, even if he was off you know I do still love that slob. But anyways I at least hope people are excited for the finale! Mitzy and Veronica have been great fun this whole season and I at least feel like they were deserving enough of the finale.
