Scott got home around 3:40 in the afternoon. He rang the doorbell, creating a ding noise from the buzzer. But no one came to answer. He rang it again, still no answer. He looked under the mat in front of their door for the spare key. He found it which meant his sister wasn't home yet. He picked up the key and unlocked the front door. Upon entering the house, he pulled out his phone, open contacts, and clicked on Olive.

He placed the phone up to his ear and listened as it buzzed, and buzzed, and buzzed, until the answering machine picked up. "Hello, you reached Olive. Sorry I'm too busy to answer the phone, but I'll call you back later!" A beep then resided on the other end. "Hey sis, figured you're staying after school for a club or something. Anyways call me when you get this." He sighed as he hung up the phone, placing it in his back pocket.

He made his way to the kitchen, grabbing a banana for a snack before heading up to his room to finish his homework. He pulled out the chair in front of his decent sized desk. He took out his folder from his backpack, along with a pencil, and slammed them down onto his desk. He got straight to work on a math packet he needed to finish.

It wasn't long before minutes turned into hours. His room became much darker as the sun set. He was finished with his work and sat on his bed reading a book for stories his sister had gotten him. He eventually had to get up and tune on the light switch. He glanced at his digital clock on his nightstand "6:45" it read. He was now starting to get worried about his sister, she never forgot to tell him if she was gonna be home late. He pulled out his phone once again for the sixth time that night. Again it went to voicemail "where are you sis? I'm getting worried?!"

After he immediately called his mother. She was still at work, like most nights, running a big business company with their father. After two rings she finally picked up, "hey honey. Everything alright?" He sounded sweet and a bit annoyed, like she was in the middle of something but still had time for her son.

"Hey mom, you know where Olive is?"

"She should be home. Why? Is something wrong?" Her voice started to become concerned.

"I don't know, but she's not home." The line went silent for a moment. "Mom, I'm getting worried."

"Your sister is probably just goofing off with friends. Listen we're almost out of the office, your fathers just finishing up a phone call."

"Alright I'll see you in a few"

"Love you honey."

"Love you to mom." They both hung up. He sat back down on his bed and glanced out the window. The sun was slowly setting along the twin they lived in. "Where are you Olive?' He thought.

Olive flew through the jungle as fast as she could. Jiminy flying right beside her face. They were beginning to slow down as it was getting hard to navigate the jungle. At Least they didn't have to worry about Scar now that they were far enough away from the elephant graveyard. "That was close," Olive said, panting between every word. The sun was now halfway across the sky, it would be setting soon. They needed to make it to Sherwood Forest before sundown.

Soon enough they came across a flat opening in the jungle. "Do you know where we are, Jiminy. This looks more like a jungle than a forest?" Olive asked as she landed.

Jiminy followed, landing on her shoulder. "Sort of, I don't usually travel this far into animal territory." They looked around at their new surroundings. There were sevral paths to take but they weren't sure which one was right, They then saw a group of elephants marching in a line. "Hey, maybe they can help!" Jiminy shouted. Olive nodded and they both flew over.

"Inspection!" the Colonel elephant called. Everyone in line tuned and held out their trunks. Olive landed in a grassy spot in front of the line of elephants. She watched as the head elephant did his inspection. But getting impatient she stepped forward "um, excuse me." But no one paid station to her, they all just stood there, waiting.

"Excuse me!" Olive shouted. That got the lead elephants attenchun. He gave her a stern look. "What is this, a woman cub?!" He questioned.

"Listen we mean you know harm. We are currently looking for Sherwood Forest. If you could just point us in the right direction-"

The Colonel cut her off "I will have no women cub in my presents. Now be gone, before I send my army after you!"

"Un dear, i belive she just wants directions out of the jungle." A female elephant spoke up.

"Yes ma'am, we must get there before unspoken to. So if you don't mind, what path so we take to get to Sherwood Forest?" Jiminy asked.

"Ah yes, um, let's see-'' the Colonel looked around at the different paths. He scratched his head with his trunk, unsure which one.

"Dear, just go down that path. You'll be there within the hour." The female elephant said, pointing her trunk to the right.

Olive and jiminy emailed "thank you!" Then took off in that direction.

"I was getting to that. For an elephant never forget the way out of its forest!" Colonel stated. "Sure dear" his wife said.

Olive and Jiminy flew down the jungle path, flying past tall trees and rivers both great and small. Soon enough it became too hard to fly, Olive would need to start walking. Though the rough trail, rocks, and stone made it hard to walk. Thankfully the branches from the tall trees provided plenty of shade from the hot sun. They were quite happy with how peaceful it had been, until Olive spotted something high up in a tree.

"Jiminy, is that who I think it is?" Olive whispered, not to wake what she thought was a sleeping snake.

"Sure looked like it. Let's get out of here before he wakes up." He exclaimed softly. She tiptoed down the path, stepping light on fallen leaves, lunging over fallen branches. But as she stopped over one, she stepped on a small branch that cracked, echoing through the jungle. Olive's face scrunched as she turned, praying the snake wasn't away. Unfortunately it did, and he was hot on their trail.

"Run!" Jiminy shouted as they took off down the path. Olive ran as fast as she could, which was a little too fast as she tripped over a tree root. She fell face first, getting herself all dirty and a few scraped on her arms and legs. She pushed herself onto hands and knees as she heard a hiss from behind her. Slowly she turned her head and quickly shut her eyes while screaming "kaa!"

"What is thisssss a man or should I ssssay women cub." Kaa hissed as he slithers around the two.

"Kaa, please, we don't want to trouble you." Jiminy spoke up.

"Oh and a little green bug, soundssss like a perfect meal." Olive could feel his snake body begin to coil itself around her.

"Help! Somebody please help!" Olive called out.

"Now my dear, if you don't mind opening those sparking little eyes of yours." She could feel his body squeezing her. She knew she had to keep her eyes closed but she was running out of oxygen and energy. Eventually she opened them, giving into kaa's spell.

"Olive don't!" Jiminy said but it was too late. He began pulling on her loose hair "come on, snap out of it!" But kaa reached the end of his tail out for him, coiling himself around the small cricket.

Jiminy squirmed in kaa's grasp while he only chuckled. "Don't worry, your time will come." He focused back on Olive. "It's been a long time since I had a decent meal. I know I should turn you in, but who's gonna care…" he lifted Olive up to where she was at an angle. But before kaa could open his mouth, he was quickly knocked over. This caused both Olive and jiminy to hit the ground, but they were still in kaas grasp.

Atlest she was now out of his trace. She quickly looked down at the ground, then at jiminy "Kaa, what did I tell you about when we found the girl!" This voice familier, and not very friendly.

"Don't eat her, but it was gonna be ssssmall-" Kaa began but when olives turned to look at him she screamed bloody murder. Holding Kaa's head to the ground was Shere Khan.

"Nice job!" He growled "now the whole jungle's awake!" He lifted his paw and stalked over to the trapped Olive. "So you're the true believer, so young, so pretty, so pathetic." He taunted sitting next to her.

"Let me go, you blood cursed, man eating tiger!" She spat at his paws.

He looked down at her with disgust. "You know girl, I was just instructed to bring you back alive." He raised his paw up to her face with his razor sharp claws "we didn't say anything about you being injured." At this point Olive was shaking a bit.

"You leave her alone! She's done nothing to you!" Jiminy spoke up.

Shere Khan looked over at the little green cricket "who's gonna stop me?" He raised his paw high above Olive's face. She shoved her head as far as she could into Kaa's body. She waited for Khan's paw to strake, just as it was about to hit a familiar voice called out.

"Khan you leave that girl alone!" Which was followed by several footsteps.

"We'll look who's came to join the party?" Khan lowered his paw as he looked over at the voice. Olive lifted her head and struggled to turn it. She saw Bagheera running towards them. Relife fell over her face. He stopped mere inches away from them. "Let her go, Khan."

"What makes you think I'm gonna give her over so easily?" His paw ran through hair making the ones on the back of her neck stick up.

"Baloo, now!" Bagheera shouted. Olive felt Khas paw leaver her head as a thud came from the side of her. She turned her head to see Baloo tackling Shere Khan to the ground. They rolled around for a moment, until they rolled over kaa's face. That made him jump in pain and drop both Olive and Jiminy. Olive scampered to her feet, grabed jiminy, and quickly left the situation.

"Get her out of here Bagheera!" Baloo hallard. Bagheera ran over to them "get on, now!" Olive jumped onto bagheera's back, placing jiminy on her shoulder and they took off. Olive looked over her shoulder, watching and Baloo, Shere Kahn, and Kaa all faded from view.

"Are you sure we should leave Baloo behind?" She asked.

"He will be fine. What matters now is getting you out of the jungle safely." Once they were far enough away, Bagheera slowed down from a run to a walk.

"Thank you for saving us." Jiminy thanked him.

"Anything for the believer." He said.

"I take it, words gotten around then?" Olive asked, unsure if it was a good or bad thing.

"Sure has, practically every kingdom knows by now. But I suggest laying low, we don't need the villains taking you after only one day on the island." Olive nodded. She knew that if the villains got hold of her, it would be doom for the island as a whole. "Don't worry though, will be out of the jungle soon. Where are you off to next?"

"Sherwood Forest. We were hoping to get there before nightfall but I guess we will be traveling through the night sky." Olive said looking at the sun setting sky through the gaps in the trees.

They continued down the beaten path for a good 5 minutes before the sound of rustling leaves came from the right of them. Bagheera stopped and they all looked in the direction of the noise. "Don't make a sound." He instructed.

Olive climbed off, scared of what might be coming for them. They slowly backed up waiting for the creature to relieve itself. Bagheera slowly turned to face the noise, teeth showing, ready to pounce at whatever came their way. The noise became louder and louder at whatever was coming for them. Soon enough the figure pecked his head through the tall leaf to which bagheera pounced on.

"Wow Bagheera, it's just me!" The familiar voice called. Olive and Jiminy rushed over, pulling back the bushes of leaves to see Bageera on top of Baloo. A sigh of relief came over all of them.

"Baloo, I'm so sorry. I thought you were Kaa or Shere Khan." He apologizes. getting off of his best friend. "What happened, how did you get past them?"

"I managed to get Shere Khan tighed up in Kaa's grasp. But they won't be stuck for long." Baloo said, getting up onto his two legs. "Where is she heading?l

"Sherwood forest, we're not far now." Bagheera then turned back over to Olive and she hoped on. The group then traveled through the jungle for another ten minutes before it turned into a forest. "This is it, Sherwood Forest." Baloo sated as he held Olive off bagheera.

"Thank you both for your help!" Olive said.

"Your welcome, now hurry. Go find Robin Hood. He will know who you are." Bagheera said as Olive sprinkled pixie dust on the two of them. The forest trees were much easier to navigate by flight rather than by foot, so they took off into the sun setting sky.
