AN I've unfortunate news. This fic will be on permanent hiatus since my dear co author has found himself uninterested in continuing this at this time and I don't feel right continuing without them since this was a collaboration.

Perhaps one day we'll be able to actually finish this chapter properly and continue the fic. Just so I don't leave you all hanging I'll post what we have for ch 13. I should have posted this months ago but I kept forgetting so I'm sorry for that.

All Might couldn't believe it. One second everything was normal and the next those who died at the machinations of All For One were back. Thousands of people who died in the long life span of his evil were suddenly alive. In a new age, some quite literally, and foundering in the sea of time that's past them by after their death.

He knew of only one person in the world who would ever have had the power to do so but even he never thought Ben's power reached to such a godly awe inspiring might. Seeing the efforts the boy was putting in to help others was truly just an inspiring sight.

It was a great thing to have done and Ben's interference in order to help them adjust to this new change was greatly appreciated, but there were still complications with the resurrected. Not that anyone was surprised nor could anyone blame them. After all, they had what made them who they were forcibly taken away and then killed. Now they were back with so much happening since their deaths, of course it was much for them to handle.

Though their rebirth caused a rather…. unique problem. Not only were their Quirks given back to them, it's also caused a rather interesting side effect. There were now 7 users of One For All, each one as strong as it's currently newest user, it apparently having a quantum entanglement with itself. The reality warping nature of their resurrection seemingly accounted for this and has adjusted every user's body to match and perfectly use their powers without causing undo harm, their body memories and skills as using their particular original Quirk, if available, passing to each user in turn making them equally skilled as the original user.

To say that All Might and Izuku was shocked at this newest revelation was an understatement. 7 users of One For All and with essentially none of the issues that Izuku had to deal with when he first received the quirk. Of course the problem didn't stop there. Now that all 7 were quantum entangled that meant that the eventual Quirk Singularity that would have happened eventually with the Quirk was significantly sped up, each given user could if they wished grant their Quirk to another who would than transfer their Quirk and skill in it to the other remaining members, while the former acted as normal with the passage of the Quirk, their powers slowly dwindle until they vanish entirely, leaving only their enhanced body in it's wake.

It was definitely an interesting new development with all of these individuals with One For All, especially considering any one of them could pass it just like All Might did to Izuku. Most just decided to keep the quirk but one did decide to pass it on to someone else. The one who gave the Quirk up was none other than All For One's brother, while he was thankful for a new chance at life, the thought of influencing any of the current generation left a bad taste in his mouth, which led him to finding the new bearer of his Quirk, one Akatani Mikumo.

The boy very well could have been Izuku's twin brother in another reality, black hair instead of green and brown honey eyes that were only enhanced by his Quirk.

A passive one the boy couldn't turn off if he tried to basically filtered people's perception of him to the best possible light, making him effortlessly charming and charismatic. Prior to being the new holder of One For All, he has a near zero chance of making it through the Hero course of UA even if it was his dream to be the Number 1 Hero.

Izuku could sympathize with the boy given the eerily similar situations with wanting to be the Number 1 Hero and life just not working out originally in their favor. Plus, Mikumo was just a nice guy, though whether that was because of his quirk or Izuku just genuinely found him pleasant was up for debate. Regardless, Izuku just simply gave the fellow student a nod of approval and wished him the best with his goal, but not without some friendly acknowledgement of how he wasn't the only one striving for the top.

The boy smiled at the nod before scratching the back of his neck.

"Hey I don't suppose I could be your friend too? I… don't really know anyone here and seeing as we have you-know-what in common I figured we can be friends? My power makes it very hard to find actual friends you see."

He blinks at Izuku clearly waiting for a response, he perhaps, being the only one to notice that the same passive power was already making Izuku far more popular with everyone as it was no doubt doing the same to the other holders. By the end of the day any of them could kill someone in broad daylight and no one would be able to realize it happened. Still, just because they'd enjoy the same benefits as him doesn't mean they'd be finding out any time soon.

Izuku simply smiled and nodded. After all, even with his quirk of perception altering, there was no real reason for Izuku to say no. As far as he knew, he was just a student that is in a similar boat as him, even more so now. Plus, he wasn't interested in making enemies, not as a hero or as just a sane individual.

"Of course you can be my friend! You seem like a pretty well rounded guy and you can never have too many friends, am I right?"

The boy nods and smiles brightly.

"Thanks so much Izuku! It's already hard enough actually dealing with the reality of being able to go here haha. I don't suppose you could show me around? I'm still not really used to it all. Oh, and I was wondering if you could tell me about that green energy you use? I don't seem to have access to it myself for whatever reason."

Wanting to help the fellow and newest user of One For All out, Izuku went on to tell him all about mana and how to use it. He was no expert, but from what Ben had told him, even he wasn't in comparison to his cousin Gwen. However, the green haired student was sure that Mikumo was understanding the basics.

A contemplative look went on his face for a moment before inky black Mana rose up from his hand as he smiled widely at his newfound power.

"That explanation was really good, thanks Izuku! I can't wait to test this out haha it's open up so many avenues for me! You also said there's actual spells right? Do you know any?"

"At the moment? No. I never actually got around to learning any. Although Ben said that he was going to teach me the sensory spell. So if you want to join in on that lesson, you're more than welcome to!"

He smiles and nods.

"I look forward to it! Oh, since we'll be best friends in no time flat, why don't we exchange numbers so we can keep in contact? Mind if I go visit your house after classes are over today?"

Izuku nodded as he exchanged the information over to his peer with a wide smile on his face.

"I don't mind! The more company the better! I'm sure Shoto and Ben will love you!"

The boy nods before looking around and seeing that the coast was clear he brought Izuku into a french kiss knowing full well his power would cover for him, leaving only the memory of a regular goodbye while further imprinting on the boy that it was impossible for him to do anything wrong and that they really WOULD be the best of friends soon enough.

Izuku smiled as the boy walked off, not remembering what had just transpired between the two.

'Man, he's a good guy. I can't wait to see him later today.'

That was the final thought Izuku gave about the interaction before he decided to make his way back to his apartment.

Mikumo texts his new friend once out of school to get his address as he thinks of how best to get to Ben or if he should try at all given his power and technology. He contemplates it momentarily before shaking his head. No it'd be best to turn Izuku and Shoto into his unwitting moles before trying anything.

Izuku sent the location to Mikumo with a smile before placing his phone on his bed. He looked down from his bed to the bottom bunk where Shoto was typing on a laptop.

"So are you excited to meet Mikumo?"

Shoto shrugs.

"I guess, from what you told me he's really friendly. I just hope he's not annoying with it, you know?"

"Trust me, he's great. Just a real friendly and charismatic guy. Though I guess I could just be saying that because of our similarities."

Izuku said with a chuckle as he laid back down on his bed, waiting for Ben to join them, who was currently using the bathroom.

Ben comes out as he finishes his shower, his clothes forming around him fully before he was out the door.

"Well that's certainly a possibility, or at least it would be if everyone who's ever met him didn't have the same eerie sentiment about him. No one is that likable naturally. I'd be wary about him even if it seems paranoid. Not one person I've looked into has even a single negative thought about him."

Ben frowns in thought as he sits down. It was honestly the strangest thing. Even if you were good incarnate, it would be impossible for everyone to have a good opinion of you. Yet this kid just seemingly has everyone on his side. Even if you were going to give the benefit of the doubt of casual friendliness for those who don't know him that well, those who did would eventually have something negative.

Izuku opened his mouth to retort before closing it again and nodding. He didn't really agree which probably should be weird for him as they essentially just met, yet it just didn't for some reason.

Ben looks up at Izuku with a frown.

"You mind if I look into your memories for a bit? Just to see if he did anything?"

Izuku hesitated at that which probably should concern him more than it did, but nodded. I mean, even if he didn't feel the same paranoia Ben was feeling, you could never be too sure, right?

Ben used his Lenopan's telepathy to sift through Izuku's memories of the boy only to come up empty.

"Well I didn't see anything odd. Still he just might have potent memory manipulation as a side effect of his Quirk. Thankfully if he is up to no good it'd be impossible for him to do anything here given my AI self, I should also be immune to it too given the fact my sensory field is far more complicated than anyone here thanks to all the alien powers I have active all the time. If worse comes to worse the watch will defend me too."

Shoto listened in on this and thought to himself. Truthfully, Izuku always had been very trusting, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but even this seemed a little too caring for him. This guy, charming or as nice as he is, is practically still a stranger. Though with Ben's explanation and the fact that he would be here, he figured they wouldn't have much to worry about when he came over.

The doorbell to the apartment range as Mikumo waited patiently for the door to open, already having a course of action should Ben somehow not be available, a friendly smile on his face in case he was being viewed by an unseen camera.

Ben walked up to the door and opened the door with a smile on his face. Even if he was a bit paranoid of the student, he wasn't going to let that be known until there was something that really stood out to him.

Mikumo smiled as he held out a hand to shake.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Ben! I've heard so much about you!"
