In the laboratory, Shawn gets into a machine for Bobbie and Tamara to do tests, it first transforms his hands into sand and then his whole body, even with that his vital signs are normal. Then, they analyze North, they see that his internal organs have grown enormously, but in terms of health, he is fine. Bobbie discovers that Tamara, by controlling her emotions, can control the air with her wings... as well as make her crown of feathers and plumage disappear from her body at will, as long as she is concentrating.
Bobbie Bagley: "Interesting."
After doing tests with North and Shawn, Tamara makes her use her wings, she is unintentional...she throws a wave with her wings that knocks Bobbie off her seat, but Bobbie lands on her feet.
Tamara Tanner: "Sorry, don't think that she was some kind of... a grudge."
Bobbie Bagley: "And why would I think that?"
They both try not to continue, but Bobbie speaks abruptly.
Bobbie Bagley: "Okay, you finished me!...right?".
Tamara Tanner: "Are you kidding?"
Bobbie Bagley: "No, I remember you ran away from me one day...so...".
Tamara Tanner: "I wanted to take the next step, but you didn't, that's why I ran away."
Bobbie Bagley: "I think it's more complicated than that."
Tamara Tanner: "Is sharing an apartment with you a complicated thing, really?"
Bobbie Bagley: "There were variables to consider."
Tamara Tanner: "There weren't any, just you and me, there were no variables or methods...it was the simplest thing in the world!...but like all the time, your mind won over you".
Bobbie Bagley: "It wasn't that."
Tamara Tanner: "Then what was it?".
Bobbie doesn't respond to that.
Tamara Tanner: "Did you feel anything when I left you?...do you even feel anything now?"
Before answering, Shawn appears, all the clothes he puts on turning to sand.
Shawn Tanner: "We may have a problem."
Bobbie goes to see what he can do. For his part, Pitch visits his doctor to find out what he has.
Pitch Black: "What's the diagnosis?...I feel something inside of me."
Dr. Monty: "Your tissues, your organs, your biophysical structure is altered, somehow the systems still work."
Pitch Black: "Based on your professional experience, what kind of alteration?"
Dr. Monty: "I don't know that yet, whatever it is...it's like a parasite, it turns your body into...solid ash, that could explain why your skin slowly changes color."
Pitch Black: "How much time do I have left?"
Dr. Monty: "I estimate that the infection will be complete in two to three weeks."
Pitch Black: "What do you mean complete?"
Dr. Monty: "Look, I don't want to pretend I know what I was up against, so I have to notify CDE, Disease Control, this is like a nightmare."
Pitch Black: "Hey, hey, hey, cool, I know what it is."
Dr. Monty: "If this is contagious, then we have a serious problem on our hands, a potential epidemic."
Pitch Black: "Wait a minute, I still have a life, I am the head of a prestigious company, I demand that this be treated as confidentially as possible."
Dr. Monty: "Pitch, this disorder is progressive and degenerative, my duty is to warn...".
Pitch grabs him by the neck and... his eyes shine golden!
Pitch Black: "What a shame your life."
Pitch throws him against a glass shelf, killing him instantly, after calming down his eyes return to their normal color.
Pitch Black: "Now I'm going for a second opinion."
Pitch watches over Bobbie at all times, making sure that she is working, Bobbie after some analysis, reviews an old book that he had when he was a child... it is about legends and European folklore, the more he reads it, he finds some similarities between certain characters with the manifestation of powers that has happened to them.
Shawn Tanner: "So your hypothesis is that we have become characters in children's fables and legends?"
Bobbie Bagley: "I know it sounds crazy, but think of it like this, I'm a rabbit, 'The Easter Bunny'...she's practically a fairy, 'The Tooth Fairy'...you, all sand and make what you imagine come true, 'The Sandman' and him, stocky, big, that beard and that look...it's 'Santa Claus'."
Nicholas North: "Heh heh, if that's true I'll get the geekiest character of all."
Tamara Tanner: "What do you say?...but Santa Claus is adorable."
Nicholas North: "That explains why I now have an appetite for cookies and milk."
Tamara Tanner: "What does that have to do with the storm?"
Bobbie Bagley: "At first I thought nothing, but doing an analysis of the suits we had on the mission, I discovered that the moon had contact with us."
Shawn Tanner: "The moon, do you mean like a man from the moon?".
Shawn turns to the sky and says.
Shawn Tanner: "Well, thanks."
Tamara Tanner: "It could be that we should have died in the storm, but the lunar radiation saved us by giving us powers that were coincidental with these literary characters."
Shawn Tanner: "Tell it like it is please, blessings, I bestow blessings on us."
Bobbie Bagley: "We shouldn't use powers in public, Shawn."
Shawn Tanner: "They're worse than Area 51."
North opens a beer and drinks.
Santa Claus: "On the bright side, I won't give that svoloch any presents."
