Jasmine sobs softly, "I don't want to lose another father...", and George smiled warmly, "Family takes care of each other, and you're practically my family as you're literally living with my daughter and the others. And I would think that your father and Aladdin would want to get rid of Jafar as much as we do...Agrabah has been in chaos and trouble long enough.".

There was a moment of silence before Jean took a deep breath, "If you could get your hands onto the lamp... that would leave Jafar alone in terms of just his powers... it might be your best chance."

"Jean... you... you're not serious about this...", Gwen looked at her with shock, obviously scared about her father's safety. This was leagues different from him simply being a captain on the force. With that, he mostly was behind his desk doing paperwork and at the times he was out on the streets, he usually could blend with a crowd if not in uniform or certainly had quite a bit of backup if in uniform.

Jean exhaled, looking at Gwen, "Gwen, your father won't be alone. He will have Onyx's copy by his side, and you heard Onyx. Her copy will grow to maturity soon and will be just as powerful as her original. It's only fire they're both naturally afraid of, and George would get the point across to the citizens in the rebellion, showing drawings of Jasmine, and with teaching, George would speak passable Arabic, saying that Jasmine sent him and Onyx to help.".

"Or just being around to properly translate for him.", Onyx added. "That works too.", Jean pointed out. "The point is, Gwen, he'll be alright... I think it works well for all of us this way.".

Gwen sighed deeply, "I am really going to miss you, Daddy.", and George smiled, getting over to hug Gwen, "I know...I am going to miss you, all of you, heck, I am going to miss our annual dinners as a family. If anyone asks, tell them that I got kidnapped or something on the way to visit you. They could believe it since my gun, like I said, was getting in its years, and I couldn't get away. I won't be declared as dead, I will try, but I can't promise...but I won't be alone, okay?", kissing her on the forehead.

"Okay...", Gwen took a deep breath. "Just please be careful...", looking at her father seriously. "I will, love... I promise.", George told her as he turned his attention back to Onyx, "It'll take you a bit of time before we can go, right? Give me a quick chance to get a few things to better prepare?".

Onyx nodded, "Of course, and you can get used to my copy hitching a ride. I can't risk shocking you to the sensation that fast, so you and my copy take the time to get used to being like partners essentially while you prepare something for your disappearance.".

George blinked, "That makes very much sense...How do I let your copy in?", and Onyx smiled, "For starters, carry her so she can get used to your body warmth and just let her melt in you.".

Mini-Onyx chirps and purrs as she blinks at George, walking across the table in her bear cub shape, and George smiled at the little one, "What do you say, Onyx Jr.?", surrendering his hands, palms open.

It didn't say much but gave another chirp that sounded like it was in approval. As Onyx said, it would need a bit of time to start growing and become more of a perfect copy of her.

The little copy climbs into George's hands, and purrs as it leans against his arms, happy for the warmth. The girls coo again, seeing it as a cute sight.

George chuckled, "Well, I better get going home, and you said that copies are all like your species, so raw meat, right?". Onyx smiled, "That's right. And as for me, I better get a start on the healing beyond the scar itself. Thank you, George.".

George nodded as he took a deep breath, starting to mentally prepare himself for what was to come. After a quick extra goodbye, George headed back home while the others stayed behind. Gwen obviously couldn't help but be stressed by the plan; this was her own father putting his life on the line and she thought that if anyone should go to help, it would be her since she obviously was 'built' better for the task at hand.

Onyx glanced at Gwen, and can recognize the look, and she spoke, "Gwen, back there in my conversation with George while we were eating and all, it was so obvious that he absolutely loves you beyond belief, unconditional love for his daughter, and he wants you to be happy, and since you're happy with Jasmine, it makes sense for him to be able to do something for you in a way, choosing this.".

Jasmine whispered softly, hugging Gwen, "She's right...He chose this...Family takes care of family...And you already had your turn with the others, saving me in my mindscape...And I trust Onyx via her copy to watch over George...do you?".

"I do.", Gwen said but her tone and face certainly weren't giving out an aura of confidence. "I just... I just can't help but be worried for his safety, Jafar... Magic is really unpredictable from what I've seen through Jasmine and with someone like Jafar and the power he wields; even without Genie in his possession...".

Onyx smiled, "Magic is energy, and even if his dark magic is nasty, I think I can figure out a way to get my copy throw that back at him, to make him distracted while the rebellion takes care of his loyal guards and such...".

Jasmine scoffed, "Oh, believe me, Rasoul and his men is definitely loyal to Jafar.", and Onyx grinned, "I will make sure I have memories for you to see. I can't promise that it would be good, but it will have to be done.".

Peter snorted, "With Jafar, don't worry about it. Behead him, strike him in the heart, whatever as long as his dark magic is gone and Agrabah is back to the wonderful place it used to be.".

Jean nodded, "Agreed. Just do your best, Onyx, and work together with your copy and George when it's time.", and Onyx nodded, "Of course. Now, if you excuse me, I better get back.", before changing shape and melting back into Jasmine, heading straight to the interior damage of the scar, to slowly and carefully fix.

"Do you even feel that sort of thing?", Jean asked as Jasmine shook her head, "Not really, if I'm honest... at least what she's trying to do right now... it's slow enough to where you don't notice, like a cut you have, it starts fading to the point where you almost forgot where you had it after a few days.".

Peter replied, "When you were in the shower with the others last week, Jasmine, Onyx told me that why she took time with the scars was because that she wanted to be through, making sure the muscle tissue and all are healthy, seamlessly working the scar tissue away into bare skin, the energy of the wound all eaten away, and hence, no harm to you.".

Gwen replied, "This scar is even more special to her as we all want to stop Jafar and his dark magic...", and Jasmine smiled sadly, "I'd be just happy to have the scar gone...to have no more dark magic in my body...", and the others hug her, kissing her gently, knowing what she meant...Even if she can't have ovaries again, to have children, having the scar and the dark magic gone would be the next best thing.

Plus... a small part of her mind that she usually kept repressed was having a slight toehold in a vain sense as she would have her skin perfected again, with no visible scars or blemishes. There was a slight tinge of guilt, but she knew it was alright so long as she didn't brag about it or anything. She knew that her lovers still loved her, flaws and all.

After all, her mental scars and emotional scars are still her flaws, and she's healing through them with the help of her lovers which is really huge for her.

As George got home, the copy of Onyx was very comfortable to melt into George's body with ease, and he can feel a curious chirp in the back of his head, he smiled, "Okay, let's do this.", as he drove in his garage, and parked his civilian car, and grabbed his jacket, his phone, leaving his car, and headed up by the elevator to his apartment.

George felt an intrigued chirp, and he chuckled, using his phone as a way to fool any passersby apartment citizens coming home for the evening, "Oh, that's one of the ways to get up without using the stairs. Faster, and very easier with the groceries too.".

George took another breath; he knew the stories, of course, thanks to Gwen... but to come face to face with Jafar sometime soon? It would certainly be a challenge... but it wouldn't be the first time he'd put his life on the line, that was for damn sure.

And yet he knew he won't be alone. This challenge would be easier with Onyx's copy by his side, literally. He smiled as he heard the little one purring as he exited the elevator...At least he would have some time to get used to it before he goes, and of course, there's figuring out the insurance part or something else for the 'kidnapped/disappearance' ploy...

As weeks pass, George saw the copy of Onyx grow up to maturity, becoming her inky black color, becoming more powerful just like her founder, able to talk, ask questions, and learn even more emotions than ever, accompanying George on his shifts, through it was awkward in the men's bathroom since she can't be found in his office if anyone comes in, and especially around bedtime.

They steeled through it though, making sure to have a fairly decent connection, one that they certainly were going to need when attacking Jafar on the throne... if Onyx could pull it off as it still was up to this point, only a theory. A strong one, but still a theory, nonetheless.

The copy of Onyx, having memories of her original, and now having new memories thanks to George, is starting to have a funny feeling, not a funny-weird feeling, but kinda funny-nice feeling when she looks at George, and she tries to compare it to other feelings she felt when observing people through George's view on his shifts, like happy-relieved when a lost child is reunited with its parents, amused-annoyed when a robber almost escapes, yet gets slammed by a door or something, or mad-weary when people tries to disrupt George like on a coffee pick-up or redirecting people away from a murder scene, and then there's the strangest feeling that scares her...the mad-jealous feeling when women try to flirt their way in to George.

She knew she wants to be good like her creator, and being mad-jealous sounds really bad for her...She knew she couldn't ask her creator as her creator didn't have those feelings, just echoes via the link, and her creator saw George as a friend...And asking the girls feels kinda weird, and Peter...he may relate to George, but she doubts that Peter doesn't have that sad void when George remembers his ex-wife...

Now that, that was where the mad-jealous feeling came in the most as she knew that George deserved better than that bitch who left him for his job...His job is saving people for star's sake, and that's an honorable, amazing job anyone could have, and George loves it even if it wears him down sometimes, it gives him a sense of satisfaction that he did a good deed, small or big every day.

And with the holiday of Christmas getting closer and closer, that feeling kept coming back as there was so many damn single or divorced ladies, in their annoying troubles, during the shifts every day, and one day, it just was too noticeable, and George was almost snappy at his officers all day, yet he reined it in.

George could tell that something was... off, about the copy of Onyx that was around him. That he was certain some of his emotions weren't actually his but rather felt more like hers coming to the surface.

He learned to feel her vocals from the back of his head when talking to people about solutions to plans or giving shifts to people as he is captain, charge of placing people for the day. Most of them were quiet and polite a lot of the time, and yet as she got older, George felt her vocals getting stronger, and today was troubling as he almost snapped at a lot of people on his shift on the streets, and then the emotions behind it, he was trying to make sense of it, but couldn't as he had to focus on the job.

As he came home to the apartment, he closed the door, checking the blinds on the windows, and exhaled in his captain voice, "Copy-Onyx, please come out so I can talk to you.", and Copy-Onyx came out, sitting on the couch, staying quite still, ashamed as she knew she did something wrong.

"What was that today, Copy-Onyx? You are very lucky that I reined in the temptation to reprimand you in the office when I had paperwork to do, otherwise, you would have gotten caught by one of those officers. On the streets, you were doing just fine this morning, and then as the shift kept going, you were acting off.", George replied, still in his captain voice yet there's confusion, concern, annoyance.

Copy-Onyx exhaled, "I...I think I am being bad...", and George narrowed his eyes, "Oh, yes, you are being bad because you almost made me look like a fool in front of my officers when I was on the streets all day. What the hell happened?".

"Not that, George! I think I was being bad in my feelings...", Copy-Onyx shook her head, and George frowned, "What do you mean?". Copy-Onyx sighed, "I'm confused and scared to say...", and George replied, "It's just me, Copy-Onyx.".

"That's just it! I...I don't want to be a freak!", Copy-Onyx replied, and George said, "You aren't a freak...Come on, you are starting to worry me here, spill it out!".

Copy-Onyx loudly replied, "I get funny-nice when I look at you in the mirror, and I get jealous-mad when I see those females trying to flirt with you, and it couldn't stop coming, they couldn't stop coming!", before closing her eyes and tucking her knees up to her chest.

George looked at her for a moment before giving a light chuckle for a second, "That's it? That's what that was all about? You were just jealous when those women were talking to me?". Copy-Onyx glanced away with shame as George shook his head. "Hey, listen... don't worry about feeling guilty about that sort of thing... I get it. I really do.".

Copy-Onyx glanced at him, "You do?", and George smiled as he sat down next to her, "Yeah...Did you know that my ex-wife came to my apartment with a boyfriend waiting for her outside, a while after I adopted Gwen?".

"What happened?", Copy-Onyx whispered softly, and George chuckled, "She called me irresponsible, desperate for attention, and that I wasn't fit to be a father since I wasn't fit to be her husband...", with a bittersweet smile.

Copy-Onyx gasped, "She didn't!", and George nodded, "She did...And I think she was jealous too when she saw Gwen in my arms when we accidentally woke her up, and she walked out, but before she closed the door, she literally kissed her boyfriend in front of my eyes, and there, I was jealous, so mad and sad at the same time, but when I saw Gwen looking at me with those blue eyes, I realized that I didn't need any woman, especially her to tell me that I am not fit to raise Gwen, because I knew that my own daughter needed me as much as I needed her.".

"That...that was so honorable of you...You are responsible, George...You raised a wonderful young woman...You are truly fit to be a father, and you are never desperate for attention.", Copy-Onyx replied as she touched his hand, covering it warmly.

George looked at her, smiling, "Thank you, Copy-Onyx...", and she whispered, "Could you give me another name? A human name...".

He looked at her in surprise before smiling, "Okay...Onyx will be your middle name...", before noticing her stormy blue eyes so close, and he smiled, "Skyler...it means many things, but it mainly means sky, and since you came from the sky...what do you think?".

"I love it! Thank you, George!", Skyler hugged him, kissing him on the lips as she assumed that was the gesture of thanks when she saw a couple, with a man surprising a woman like this in a way, while she was seeing through George's eyes a couple of days ago.

She pulled back, seeing George freeze with shock, and she was confused and hurt, "Did I do something wrong there? I thought I was thanking you for my name...Did I hug you too tight? I never did the lips thing before...Great, Skyler, you're messing up again...", before she felt George's hand touch her shoulder.
