It was a dark and stormy night. It is roughly a few years from where we left off. Andy and molly were growing up. Now molly was old enough to speak and have her own toys for her age as Andy grows up as well. Over these years, Andy was playing with the imps more and more, while woody starts to get played with less and less. And everyone knew the change and woody didn't want to admit it. But tonight would change things for everyone. Lightning then flashes as the scene transitions to Andy's room where Jessie and Bullseye jump in fright due to the lightning

Jessie: woah! It's raining cats and dogs out there!

Blitzo: man. I hope their okay out there

Hamm: Heads up! Andy's coming!

Everyone gets back to their places and toy freeze as Andy enters the room. He dumps Woody, Rex, Buzz Lightyear, the Aliens, Slinky Dog, the potato heads, moxxie and Millie on the bed

Alice: [from downstairs] Andy! Time for dinner!

Andy Davis: Yes! I'm starving!

Alice: [from downstairs] Don't forget to wash your hands!

Andy: [Off-Screen] Okay, Mom!

He exits the room. Once he's gone, Woody and the other toys spring to life and look worried. Woody runs to the window as Rex panics. Lightning flashes. Woody climbs onto the windowsill beside Jessie and Bullseye and looks outside

Blitzo: hey! Where's the fire?

Millie: it's RC! He's still out there!

Slinky Dog: Well, he's done for.

Rex: He'll be lost forever!

Woody: moxxie! Millie! Buzz! Slink! Molly's room. The rest of you, stay put!

Woody peeks out of Andy's room and makes his way silently across the landing to Molly's Room. He peeks in and sees tiny spots of light on the floor, which are projected by a lamp with Bo Peep and her sheep, Billy, Goat, and Gruff, on Molly's bedside table.

Woody is about to approach but he ducks out of sight as Molly exits her room. He then signals to the other Slinky and runs into Molly's room. He then climbs up onto the table

Woody: Bo!

Bo Peep: Situation?

She uses her cane to pull Woody up onto the table

Moxxie: RC. Side yard!

Bo Peep: Billy. Goat. Gruff. Raise the blinds.

Billy, Goat, and Gruff obey and raise the blinds

Moxxie: They have names? You never told us that.

climbs up onto the windowsill

Bo Peep: You never asked

The others join them on the windowsill

They look outside. Lightning flashes, revealing RC being swept away in a storm drain in the side yard

Woody: There!

Millie: that's way too steep! How the fuck are we gonna get him up?

Woody and Bo have an idea and turn to each other in determination

Woody and Bo Peep: Operation: Pull Toy!

Woody: Slink!

Slinky Dog: You got it, Woody!

Bo Peep: Barbies!

Three Barbie dolls athletically jump up onto a chest of drawers. A soft boy toy catches a plastic carrot while several fragile doll toys pass a book to Bo. She puts it on top of the carrot which Millie puts it on top of the carrot which Jessie jumps onto

Bo Peep: Go!

The three Barbies jump on the book, sending Millie flying up to the window lock above. She unlocks the window and Buzz, Woody, moxxie and Bo lift the window

Bo: flashlight!

Millie turns on a flashlight and shines it on RC who is starting to lose his grip on the storm drain. Woody and Bo stare down at him for a moment before Bo straightens Woody's hat and nods to him determinedly. Woody then gets on Slinky and he stretches down to the driveway and towards RC

Moxxie: grab my tail!

Woody does so as moxxie is able to reach out and grab RC by the tires

Moxxie: I got him! Pull us up!

Bo, Millie and buzz do so as they use monkeys in a barrel to help pull, Just then the light turns on and Bo retreats inside. Woody is about to climb up when Alice closes the window. Woody and moxxie pull themselves up to see Bo getting packed into a box

Car Owner: Beautiful.

Alice: I'm so glad to see this old lamp go to a good home. We've had it since Molly was a baby.

Woody watches sadly

Car Owner: Molly, are you sure that it's alright?

Molly: Yeah. I don't want it anymore.

Woody and moxxie watches them leave the room. Once they're gone, Buzz and Millie spring back to life and open the window. They yank Slinky inside but there's no sign of Woody or moxxie

Buzz: woody!

Millie: moxxie!

The man takes Bo's box to his car. He feels for his keys and realizes he left them in the house. He goes back to the door and knocks. The box moves under the car and opens. Bo and her sheep look up to see Woody with a worried look on his face with moxxie keeping lookout

Bo Peep: Woody

Moxxie: if we hurry, we can hide in the bushes and make it into the house before they get back

Bo: mox...woody, It's okay.

Woody: What? No, no, no, no, no. You can't go. What's best for Andy is that...

Bo Peep: Woody...I'm not Andy's toy

Moxxie: what...?

Bo Peep: It's time for the next kid.

The two stare at her then they hear the man talking to Alice

Man: Thank you again. I really appreciate it.

Alice: Oh, my pleasure. I'm glad it all worked out.

Bo looks at Woody

Bo Peep: You know, kids lose their toys every day. Sometimes they get left in the yard or put in the wrong box.

Woody stares at her for a moment then looks at Billy, Goat, and Gruff who back up

Woody: And that box gets taken away.

Bo nods. Woody stares at her and then smiles slightly. Still not wanting Bo to be alone, he inhaled deeply as he joins her in the box with moxxie walking up to them

Moxxie: you too?! But you've been there for Andy for years! Your practically like the father he never had! And your...Your...

Woody inhales as he looks to his badge thinking about his words

Woody: I know...but...Andy's growing up...and I can't stop him from it...And when he reaches his teenage years, I doubt I'll ever be around to join him to college...or on his honeymoon

He removes the badge and takes off his hat

Moxxie: but...who'll look after everyone while your gone? They'll all miss you...

Woody: I know...that's why they need a substitute

He gives the badge and the hat to moxxie

Moxxie...m-me?

Woody nods confidently

Woody: your as good at this kind of thing as me, maybe even better. Besides...Andy will be fine. He's got you, Millie, loona, blitz, buzz...and all the others...what's important is that you let him grow up

Moxxie looks at him with tears in his eyes...then looks to the sheriff badge in his hands

Moxie inhales and places it on his vest and the hat on his head

Moxxie: I won't let you down

Woody smiles confidently

Woody; I know you won't

Moxxie gives them both one last hug goodbye before closing up the box when hearing Andy's voice as he comes out of the house

Andy: (v.o) mom! Where's Moxxie?

Moxxie pushes the box back where it was before once the man returns

Man: Well good night.

Alice: Bye. Drive safe.

The man picks up Bo's box and gets in his car. The car drives with Moxxie watching sadly as it disappears into the distance with tears in his eyes

Moxxie: goodbye...

Moxxie stares after it for a bit before Andy comes over. He picks moxxie up

Andy Davis: Ah, there you are.

runs back into the house

Andy: Mom! I found him! I found him!

Mrs. Davis: Oh, good. Come on and get inside.

She shuts the door. When moxxie broke the news to everyone else later, they were all heartbroken that their two friends were gone, including Millie

Moxxie tried his hardest to substitute. But deep down, everyone knew that he would never replace woody...but the toys had to try their best to carry on without bo peep and woody...

but their Ferrell was just the beginning...
