Once the snow had melted, everyone began to prepare for Hashira Training. Tanjiro had finally woken up sometime after Winter, so Gyutaro brought their Siblings to see him, and cheer him on in his Recovery Training. Since Shinobu wasn't taking part in the training, she had time to help Tanjiro with his recovery. Well, a bit. She was also working on a special project assigned by Kagaya. One night, the man called Gyutaro, Tanjiro to see him. The younger Kamado looked up at his Older Brother as they walked through the Headquarters towards the Master's house, "do you have any idea what the Master wants to speak with us about big Brother?" he asked curiously.
"Not really. I have a feeling that it will be shocking though" Gyutaro replied. Unfortunately his Premonitions weren't giving him any more than that though. Suddenly, Akaza walked out of the darkness with hiss human appearance. "Akaza" Gyutaro said, narrowing his eyes at the Demon. "It's Hakuji, actually. I'd appreciate it if you didn't call me by the fake name that bastard called me while I was under his control" Hakuji replied firmly. "Now now, we don't need to fight" Tanjiro tried to placate them, even though he was nervous around the Demon who had tried to kill him and who would have killed Mr Rengouku if Miss Kanroji hadn't helped with the fight. He could smell how badly Hakuji wanted to make up for his past mistakes.
"What are you doing here?" Gyutaro asked. "Kagaya called me here, or at least that's what the Crow told me. It's a nice night, so I thought I'd walk there instead of running. Enjoy the night" Hakuji replied. "Hmph" Gyutaro crossed his arms, but Tanjiro could smell the anger radiating from his Older Brother, "what about my little Sister? You enjoy being a Pedophile too? She's only 12" Gyutaro growled. Hakuji nearly tripped, "you, know about that?" he asked nervously. "Shinobu told me. You'd better stay away from Hanako, understand?! No way am I allowing you to be anywhere near here!" the green-haired 27-year-old snarled. Hakuji seemed to wilt at the words, energy leaking out of him like a strainer.
"I don't think it's that bad" Tanjiro spoke up. "What?! Tanjiro, this Bastard tried to kill you!" Gyutaro snapped, staring at his little Brother as though he'd grown a second head. "I know he did, but he also didn't hurt Hanako when she tried to protect me, and he agreed to her demand of not killing any of us. I don't think he's as bad as some other Demons. His scent was more sad and hurt than anything. Even if he didn't realise it himself, he was grieving. And now, it's still the same, but it seems less pained than it did before. I think working at the Butterfly Mansion and spending time with Hanako is helping him. Is that right Mr Hakuji?" Tanjiro asked. Hakuji didn't answer, but his scent became helplessly warm and fond.
He looked up at his Older Brother. Upon seeing the look in Tanjiro's eyes Gyutaro sighed deeply in defeat, "I don't think I have to say this, but if you ever harm our little Sister, physically or emotionally, I will destroy you" he said firmly. Hakuji nodded quickly, "I would never harm her! I don't harm women period! So please don't worry. I promise to protect Hanako forever" he swore determinedly. Gyutaro and Tanjiro glanced at each other, wondering if they should tell him about the cure that Miss Tamayo was making. But just then they reached the Master's house and had to cut their conversation off. Kiriya and Kanata stood together at the entrance to the building. "We're here to see the Master" Gyutaro said.
The Brother and Sister bowed to them in unison, "please come in" Kanata said, before both turned to lead them into the house. As they walked, Gyutaro wondered what the meeting would be about. His Premonitions still weren't giving him any clear details, but that was normal. And since the one Vision about the Ubuyashiki's attempt to kill Muzan by sacrificing themselves, he hadn't had anymore. Even so, he knew that this would be something big. Finally, the group reached another room deeper in the Mansion. Gyutaro had grimaced when they passed the meeting room he'd previously met the man in. obviously, his Curse had gotten worse.
When they stopped outside an ornate sliding door, Gyutaro had to choke down the cry that wanted to escape his mouth. Kagaya was even worse. There wasn't a single part of his body that wasn't covered in bandages, and he was sure that under those bandages was the cancerous skin he'd seen before, having spread even further. The three of them knelt down in front of the futon, silent until spoken to. "Gyutaro, Tanjiro, Hakuji, are you here?" Kagaya rasped, his voice rough but still somehow calming all three down. "We are Sir. You wanted to see us for an important Mission?" Gyutaro asked softly, resisting the urge to reach out and take the man's hand, like he had for their Father when his illness became worse.
"Yes. Hakuji has told me of something several months ago now. Amane and I looked into it, and it has taken several months of careful searching from Kakushi. But I believe I have found what you were looking for Hakuji." Kagaya replied. The Demon leaned forwards in excitement, "are you kidding? You seriously found it! I spent half my life as a Demon searching for that damn thing, and you found it so quickly? Damn, you are something else Kagaya!" he cried with a grin. "It was, not easy. But with the lack of Missions to Corps Members, while we- g-get every-one ready *pant* for this new t-training, it was easier, t-to have Crows s-search for it" the man replied.
"Um, if I may Master, what are you two talking about?" Tanjiro asked nervously. "It's fine my child. *gasp* Hakuji, has b-been, searching for, *pant* a flower. One that, Muzan, believes will allow h-him to, *cough* conqu-er the sun" Kagaya replied. Both Gyutaro and Tanjiro gasped, "like Nezuko?" they asked. "Wait, what?! What are you two talking about?" Hakuji asked urgently. "Ah, yes. With everything going, on, you were, n-never told of, N-Nezuko Kamado's- m-miracle. At the S-swordsmith V-Village. *gasp* she, conq-quered the sun" Kagaya explained. Hakuji blanched, "what. Are you serious?! A Demon actually concurred the sun?! You have to keep that girl away from Muzan at all costs! If he absorbs her, no one will ever be able to stop him!" he cried.
"He will not lay a hand on anymore of my family! There is no way I'm letting his anywhere near my little Sister!" Tanjiro cried furiously. "There's no question about that" Gyutaro said, barely keeping his anger under control. Tanjiro took several deep breathes to try and calm himself down. "Now, a-about this flower. It is c-called the Blue Spider L-lilly. If we can find it, we, may be able to *cough* create a poison for M-Muzan. Or e-even a Cure, f-for Demons *cough, cough*" Kagaya gasped, coughing harshly at the end. "Master, please, you cannot push yourself too hard!" Amane said worriedly, wiping the man's face with a wet cloth. "So you really found it? So fast. I spent centuries searching for that damn flower, and you found it in weeks! You're amazing Ka- Master Kagaya" Hakuji said with a grin.
"Heh. It's n-not like, it was easy. The spe-cifics of i-its growth and b-blooming rate *pant* m-make it im-mpossi-ble for, a D-Demon to find it." Kagaya explained. Both Gyutaro and Tanjiro's eyes widened, "did you say the Blue Spider Lilly Sir?" Tanjiro asked in shock. "Yes my child" Kagaya said. "We know where that is" Gyutaro said.
There was a moment of shocked silence in the room, even Amane seemed shocked. "What?" Hakuji asked. "Yeah, it grows on our home mountain, Mount Kumotori, near our house. Our Mom showed it to us when we were younger. And it only blooms for a few days a year, in direct sunlight. No wonder you couldn't find it Hakuji" Gyutaro replied. Hakuji froze completely for a moment, before standing up and moving over to a wall. Then he began slamming his head against it, "ALL THAT TIME I SPENT SEARCHING FOR THAT F- DAMN FLOWER AND I NEVER WOULD HAVE EVEN BEEN ABLE TO FIND IT IN THE FIRST PLACE! I WENT THROUGH ALL THAT HELL FOR CENTURIES, BEING TOURTURED BY MUZAN FOR MY MULTIPLE FAILURES, AND THERE WAS NEVER A CHANCE IN HELL I COULD HAVE FOUND THE DAMN THING AT ALL!" Hakuji screamed wordlessly for a moment.
He stood there panting, before turning back to the others, "I, apologise for that. I just-" he let out a breath and sagged, "alright. So the Blue Spider Lilly. Do you guys know if it's going to bloom soon?" Hakuji asked. "Actually, I think it should be close to blooming time, don't you think so big Brother?" Tanjiro asked, looking up at Gyutaro. "Yeah. We could visit our parents while we're there if we went" the green-haired 27-year-old said with a sad smile. Tanjiro nodded in agreement. "V-very well. G-Gyutaro, Tan-jiro. *cough* Y-you're Mission is, t-to find and b-bring back the *pant* Blue Spider Lilly." Kagaya stuttered. "Yes Sir!" Gyutaro and Tanjiro cried. "By the time you get back, the Hashira Training will be organised" Amane said.
"Don't worry. We'll bring back the Blue Spider Lilly Master" Gyutaro swore.

"So you're going home?" Takeo asked them. "Yeah. We're going to get the Blue Spider Lilly. It will help a lot with a lot of things" Tanjiro replied as he and Gyutaro packed their things. "Can't we come? I think everyone probably wants to see our parents again" Takeo asked. "It's too dangerous" Gyutaro said firmly. "Come on! I'm a Demon Slayer too! I can fight!" Takeo protested. "Your main job is staying home and protecting our Siblings. That was why you became a Demon Slayer. Not going out on Missions isn't a bad thing. You just have a different type of Mission" Tanjiro said. Takeo sighed, looking away, "fine. Just be careful. You'd better not get hurt badly again" he replied.
"Don't worry. We have our Swords with us. If any Demons turn up, we'll be fine. Okay?" Gyutaro asked, rubbing his little Brother's head. As they left the house, the younger children left the house to see them off. As well as Nezuko, "be careful" she repeated. "We'll be fine guys. You take care of each other while we're gone" Tanjiro said with a smile. "Bye Tanjiro, Gyutaro, Ume! Come back soon, okay?" Shigeru said with a grin. "Be safe, and see you when you get back" Hanako said worriedly. "See you later you guys!" Rokuta waved. As Gyutaro, Tanjiro and Ume (in Gyutaro's box) left home, they wondered how their old house was doing. They still wanted to go home someday, so hopefully their house was still standing.
Then, the three Kamados left their new house for their old one.
