Hey everyone! I wasn't even sure if I would post this here, but I always had a good following on ffn. I know it's been a long time since I've touched this fic (and several others). There's a good reason for that. I started this fic in 2016 and a lot has happened since then. I graduated university, got more involved in the Phandom, changed my career plans. I'm now a mod in the Phandom gen server and I run Invisobang. I've kicked Lexx's ass at Phic Phight three years running.
But most important: my writing has improved a lot since then. You can check out my more recent fics to see for yourself. Taking that into consideration, I can't continue this fic as it is and still be satisfied with the result.
So, I'm working on a rewrite! The original fic will stay posted, because I think it'd be a shame to take it down. But I will be rewriting it and making it better than it ever was. I'm not sure when I'll start posting the rewrite. I want to build up a stock of chapters and have a decent amount pre-written to make sure the plot flows, first. But I made a promise once that I would never abandon a fic, and that's still true today! Never abandoned, just a veeeeeeery long hiatus.
