Mia looked at Hotch and said, "who is this Shane and how can he help us?", Dave said, "he's a hacker just like kitten, he is an ex boyfriend of hers that was with her underground for a few years, he's no Garcia but in a pinch he'll do". Mia said, "great, does anybody know where we can find him?", Reid looked up and said, "we all do, he's in prison", Mia said, "prison, if he's in prison how can he help us?", Dave stood up and said, "I'll go talk to the director and get his approval to go see Shane".
Hotch nodded his head and said, "if you get permission, let Spencer go with you", Dave said, "alright", he looked at Reid and said, "come on kid", Reid said, "coming" and put the marker down on the table and then ran out of the room to catch up with Dave. When it was just the three of them there Mia said, "do you think we will be able to count on this Shane?", Hotch and Emily nodded their heads yes in agreement and said, "absolutely" in unison"
Emily said, "when he finds out that Penelope is dead and we need his help to find the unsub he'll jump at the chance to help", Mia said, "will he think Derek killed her?", Emily said, "not a chance, he saw how connected they were and how much they mean to each other, he'll help us don't worry", Hotch said, "I agree with Em, he'll help us, now all we need to do is wait on JJ to get us an analyst and for Dave and Reid to get back with Shane".
Mia said, "this is highly unethical, how can we use a prisoner to help us find a killer?", Emily said, "prisoners with his mind set and abilities are few and far between, he's one of the best hackers I've ever seen, don't get me wrong he's not a good as Penelope but he's good, he's really really good".
Derek are good, they're damn good and we're going to have to be better because if we can't we've not only lost Penelope but we'll lose Derek, Hotch and Emily nodded their heads yes and Emily said, "we won't give up, we'll do whatever it takes to free Derek and get revenge for PG".
JJ ran into the room and said, :I've got an analyst", they looked to see Kevin Lynch walk into the room, he had been crying, Hotch said, "I take it you told him?", she said, "I did, he said that he'd help", Hotch said, "are you sure that you can do this Kevin?", he said, "for plum sauce I can do this, I can find her killer and help you bring him or her to justice".
Mia said, "who's this?", JJ said, "Kevin Lynch, he's one of Penelope's ex boyfriends", Mia said, "him too", JJ said, "what do you mean too?", Hotch said, "Dave and Spencer are gone to talk to the director about getting him to make a few calls and get Shane temporarily released into our custody to help us". JJ said, "do you really think he'll help us?", Emily said, "definitely, he still loves Garcia and he'll do whatever it takes to help us bring down her killer.
Meanwhile, in the director's office Dave said, "we need this Marvin, we need your help, we need for you to pull a few strings and help us to get Shane remanded into our custody temporarily so that we can prove Derek's innocence and find the real killer of the best analyst, friend and heart and soul of our team", Marvin thought for a minute and said, "alright Dave, I'll see what I can do", they then watched as he picked up the phone and made a couple of calls.
A little while later he smiled and said, "thank you Jackson, I knew that I could count on you", he then laughed and said, "sure, sure", he then said, "golf on Friday, sure count me as there" and after the call ended her hung up the phone and looked at Dave and Reid. He said, "alright I was able to get him temporarily released into our custody but let me make this clear, he is not, I repeat not to be alone, I want at least 2 agents with him all of the time, I don't care if he goes to the bathroom they are to be on his heels".
Dave and Reid stood up and said, "yes sir" in unison before turning around and walking out of the director's office, once they got into the hall Dave said, "alright Spence let's go explain things to Shane and get back because the sooner we're all working on this case the sooner we get Morgan out of jail and get revenge for kitten", Reid said, "the probability of Shane helping us is 96.666665945%", Dave grinned and said, "good to know Spencer, good to know".
