S2 Ep9: Tough Luck
(DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN POKÉMON OR BEN 10! POKÉMON BELONGS TO GAMEFREAK/NINTENDO! BEN 10 BELONGS TO MAN OF ACTION STUDIOS/CARTOON NETWORK STUDIOS/WARNER BROS. DISCOVERY).
(Late One Night, at a Prison Facility. A Prison Guard goes flying into a Prison door and collapses. Then Multiple Explosions go off, leaving the area full of Crimson Red Smoke. Out of the Smoke appears a Middle-Aged Woman with Orange hair that is curly, with a long strand curling into a spiral shape. She also has 2 Strands of orange head sticking upward in the front of her hair. Additionally, she has a Yellow Flower beret in her hair above her right ear. Her eyes are a bright yellow gold, with red lipstick. She wears a Black Reticella around her neck that ends in a twin ribbon that hangs over her chest. She also wears a Black Dress that ends in a Spiky Black Hem line, that doubles as a cape, complete with a Red Belt and a yellow belt Buckle. The Dress comes with long Black Sleeves and her wearing yellow rings on her Pointer finger for both hands. She also has a Crimson Red Pants with Orange patterns matching her Flower Beret. Finally, she wears Black boots that Fur Cuffs and a heel. She has a Smirking look on her face. As she approaches the prison cell door, she makes her hand glow with Psychic Powers as she walks to the door. As Multiple prison Guards try to stop her, she fires a bunch of Psybeam's at them, knocking them away. When a Guard tries to close a door, he backs away seeing multiple impact craters in the door before the door explodes, sending the Guard flying away. The Woman keeps walking forward completely undeterred as she arrives a Prison door and looks through the Door panel with the iron bars. When she gets there, she sees her target, backs away, and swipes her hand in front of the door, leaving behind a trail of pink energy and says).
Woman: Fallum Quarca Daminigan. (This causes the door to go flying off its hinges and falling to the floor of the Prison cell. The Woman walks in as a man slumped against the woman greets her).
Man: Merilyn, I have been waiting.
Merilyn: Hmm. Major jail breaks are not exactly easy to pull off, you know.
Man: You will show me respect, my dear niece, (His eyes glow yellow) or you will suffer the consequences.
Merilyn: Yes, uncle. (Merilyn said obediently. This man was Merilyn's Uncle... Butler! The Same one that Ash, Iris, Mohn, and their Pokémon stopped when he tried to steal the Plates from Iris, as well as the Book called, "Simon Necronomicon" during their last encounter).
Butler: My staff! (Merilyn then reaches into a Bag she was carrying, which has face like appearance with Buttons for eyes and a zipper resembling a mouth. Then she pulls Butler's Long Staff, from out of her bag).
Merilyn: Uh... The magic must have drained out of it or something, it does not work. But I swear it is not my fault. (The Staff flies out of Merilyn's Hands and into Butler's).
Butler: Its powers can come to life only in the hands of a Master Magician. uh! now, to find the Legend Plate. The moment of alignment is close to being upon us. (Butler fires a Blast of energy from his Staff at the wall, leaving a hole in it). Once I have completed the ritual and gained its powers, (Butler and Marilyn walk onto the Fallen Prison Door), I shall take my revenge on the one responsible (They begin using the Prison door as a Hoverboard-like object to fly through the hole and away from the prison) for Imprisoning me in this festering sewer. (On Butler's Prison door was a Poster of the Girl and her Pokémon who the cause for his Imprisonment, "Dragon Girl" and "Mega Dragon").
🎵 It started when an alien device did what it did 🎵
🎵 And stuck itself upon his wrist with secrets that it hid 🎵
🎵 Now he has superpowers, he is no ordinary kid 🎵
🎵 He's Ash 150! (Ash 150!). 🎵
🎵 So if you see him, you might be in for a shocking surprise 🎵
🎵 He'll turn into a Pokémon before your very eyes 🎵
🎵 He's slimy, freaky, fast, and strong, he is every shape and size 🎵
🎵 He's Ash 150! (Ash 150!). 🎵
🎵 Armed with Abilities, he is on the case 🎵
🎵 Fighting off evil from Earth or Ultra Space 🎵
🎵 He'll never stop 'till he Beats them in Battle🎵
🎵 'Cause he is the baddest kid to ever save the day 🎵
🎵 Ash 150! 🎵
(Later that Same night, a Bus is tipping over the edge of a cliff, having broken through the Metal Fence. The Buses Seniors Passengers are in danger of Falling over the edge. At least they were until, Machamp arrived and saved them, setting the Van down on the Road safely).
Machamp: It is ok, everybody. Everything is all right now. (Machamp prepares to walk away, when one old Man, named Wylie called out to him).
Wylie: So, you are not gonna help us off, mister strong man guy? Who raised you, anyway?
Old Lady: Oh, be a dear and carry me, would you? Because My bunions are killing me. (Then another Senior Lady Crankily shouted at her).
Brutella: Your bunions my butt! My new hip's out of order, I am first. (Machamp sighed as he goes to help them).
(In the Northern Star parked nearby, Iris and Axew were staring sadly at their "Dragon Girl" and "Mega Dragon" Outfits. With Iris staring at her Mask, and Axew staring at his Mask. Both missed being a hero and wanted to be heroes again. And Pikachu felt bad for them both).
Iris: Dragon Girl... Why I wish you were more than just another Halloween costume.
Axew: Mega Dragon... Will I ever get to be you again?
Pikachu: Iris, Axew, for what it is worth you both were great heroes when the time came. (This made both Iris and Axew smile a little. Then the RV door opens and Ash walks in looking bored and tired of the routine they have been recently).
Ash: uh. Sometimes this Hero stuff gets way, too old. (Then Pikachu climbs onto Ash's Shoulder). Hey Pikachu.
Mohn: You should be proud of yourself, Ash. Those folks would have been in a real pickle without you.
Zoroark: But one that would leave a truly bitter taste in people's mouths had you not saved them. (Mohn chuckles a bit at Zoroark's Joke just now).
Ash: I know. But I would just like regular summer day Where I could just spend time all day long and do nothing. You know, like Iris and Axew. (Iris and Axew take offense with this).
Iris: You should appreciate what you have. Me and Axew only got to be Dragon Girl and Mega Dragon for a couple of hours.
Axew: Your lucky to be a hero almost 24/7.
Pikachu: They are right about that Ash. Iris and Axew have every right to feel what they do here. (Ash Acknowledges what Pikachu but decides to ignore as he keeps bragging about it).
Ash: Really? Was that it? 'Cause with all the bragging you did, it felt like weeks. (In Response, Iris throws a Pillow at his Face). The worst part of all was when all those grannies wanted me to go with them to a dumb old magic convention in Neon Town. (Ash laughs at this part). As if!
Iris: Magic convention?
Axew: Really?
(Meanwhile in the middle of the Desert, with Butler and Merilyn. They have a roaring fire, but not for warmth or food. As Butler begins reciting a spell).
Butler: "Darkara Dorotien Aghosto" The Legend Plate of Arceus. (The Flames intensify as an image of a Plate like object appears from the smoke of the fire). Reveal your location to me! (Then a Magical Map like image appears in place of the Plate).
Merilyn: Ok, well, nice seeing you again, uncle, I am outta here. (Merilyn turns to leave when a Blast of energy hits the ground in front of her, making her stop). Huh? (She turns to see Butler's eyes glowing yellow again as his staff is sparkling with energy).
Butler: You may leave my service only when I say you can!
Merilyn: Yes, uncle.
(The Ketchum's, Pikachu, Axew, and Zoroark have arrived at the Magic Convention in Neon Town. They see an assortment of Magic trick types, such as Magic Cards, Rings, Fortune telling Cards. They see a Banner that says, "Magician of the Year Expo". Suffice it to say, Iris and Axew are less than impressed having hoped for something more).
Iris: Magician of the year expo? Uh! It is all cheap junk and gross out tricks. I thought it was going to be magic-magic, not cheesy magic.
Axew: Me too.
Ash: Ho, ho! Check it out! (They look over to see Ash and Pikachu checking out a box with a sign that says, "Magic Bin". He pulls out a myriad of items to show them). Fake bugs in ice cubes, fake vomit, (Ash and Pikachu are wearing a Prop headband resembling an Arrow going through their heads), fake dog poo!
Mohn: Yes, we get it, Ash. Well, so long as we are here, we might as well look around.
Zoroark: You never know what you may find. (Iris and Axew nod agreeing with him).
(A Little later, Iris and Axew and walking around when they pass by a stand with an assortment of Magical artifacts. While the Woman running the stand is reading a book, keeping to herself. Nothing particularly catches their eye).
Iris: I do not suppose you have any true magical artifacts.
Merchant: What you see is what you get, honey. (They look over the items on view again, this time they see a Dark Blue Bracelet with a White Square Plate in the Middle. The Plate has a Diamond live shape in it, while the corners of the plate had a triangular pattern. Each triangular pattern also had an arrow connecting the Triangular to the Diamond Shape in the middle of the Plate. While in the exact Middle of the Plate is a 4 Shaped Star icon. Iris and Axew find it hard to take their eyes off the bracelet, then Iris takes it and puts it on her wrist. She likes before asking Axew).
Iris: What do you think Axew? (Axew smiles saying).
Axew: I like it. (Iris turns to the Merchant).
Iris: I will take it. (The Plate Sparkles in Iris and Axew's Eyes).
Axew: Wow. (Then Mohn, Zoroark, Ash, and Pikachu walk over to Iris and Axew).
Mohn: Find something you both like?
Iris: Yes! It kinda reminds me of... (Before Iris can finish, they hear a screaming voice).
Voice: Help! (They run out of the building and join a crowd who see a man in a straitjacket tied to a rope from a helicopter with a tailfin that is on fire. The rope holding him is getting close to snapping). Help Somebody help me!
Mohn: I do not think That is part of the act. (Mohn, Zoroark, Iris, Axew, and Pikachu turn to look at Ash, and he knows what to do).
Ash: I know, I know, Hero time. (Pikachu jumps off Ash's Shoulder and on Mohn's Shoulder. The man screams in panic as the airplane goes flying into a group of Power lines. But the man manages to avoid a sparking power lines wire from hitting him. Buzzwole arrives and places himself under the helicopter to try and get it under control...).
Buzzwole: Everything is under control... (But the tailfin goes flying off the Airplane). Or not! (The Tailfin is heading straight for Mohn and Zoroark. Iris and Axew see it coming and Shouts).
Iris: Grandpa!
Axew: Zoroark!
Iris: Look out! (Mohn and Zoroark see the tailfin coming for them. But before they can dodge it, Iris and Axew begin running and doing surprising number of tricks and flips before Iris and Axew push Mohn and Zoroark out of the way and to safety. Causing the tailfin to go and destroy a car).
Mohn: Iris... How did you do that?
Zoroark: Axew? (Iris and Axew look at Iris' new bracelet as the plate sparkles).
Iris: Just Lucky, I guess.
Axew: Yes, lucky. (With that Iris and Axew get an idea and run off together. Meanwhile, Buzzwole is still trying to save the man. He uses his Toxic attack to create a Spider Web like setting to hold the Airplane in place. Then he goes to save the Poor man).
Buzzwole: Just hold on A Couple of seconds longer! (The Man does not have too much time, as a part of the rope is on fire, before the rope finally snaps, and he begins falling to the ground, Buzzwole flies down to save him. But then Iris and Axew come running in their disguises of "Dragon Girl", and "Mega Dragon". They jump and flip onto a car and then onto a Van. They keep running down the Van, never slowing down. When they make it to the end of the Van, Iris does a massive jump into the air and manages to catch the man in her arms as they land on the ground. Buzzwole cannot believe as he asks). Dragon Girl? Mega Dragon? (A Crowd begins cheering for "Dragon Girl", and "Mega Dragon". But they already can tell what Ash is thinking and says bluntly to him).
Iris: Do not even start with me about cramping your Superhero style.
Axew: It would not hurt to let us have a turn in being heroes. (But to their surprise, Ash says).
Buzzwole: Hey, I am simply happy to finally get a little backup. But how would you get your Dragon Girl powers back?
(A little later, in the RV, Iris and Axew are no longer in their Costumes and Iris' Computer is out with a Picture of the Plate in her Bracelet on the screen).
Iris: it looks like it is one of the Plates of Arceus.
Ash: But you destroyed all those in that cemetery fighting that Butler creep.
Pikachu: So, did I.
Iris: I thought I did. But this is the legendary lost Legend Plate. It is rumored to increase ten times the powers and skills of the one who owns it.
Axew: Wow.
Mohn: Well, the legend looks to be fact, not fiction.
Zoroark: You got quite the bargain in that Plate Iris.
Ash: You are so Lucky!
Pikachu: Congrats Iris and Axew.
Iris: It is not Luck. It is magic.
(Back at the Magic Convention, a crowd gathers around a stage as Man with a Microphone comes on the stage).
Man: And remember, we will Crown the magician of the year in just a couple of hours during the solar eclipse. Now, please welcome our next contestant, the Marvelous Melvin! (Melvin comes on stage with a Box on a table. He then turns to the Audience and says to them. Among those in the crowd, include Mohn, Zoroark, Ash, Pikachu, Iris, and Axew).
Melvin: For my first trick, I will need a volunteer. (Iris looks over to See Ash is gone, and Pikachu is on the Ground before he goes and climbs onto Iris' Shoulder. Then Ash suddenly appears on the Stage).
Ash: Ash is at your service!
Mohn: What is he up to?
Zoroark: I hope he knows what he is doing. (Melvin helps Ash Climb into the Box as he says to the Audience).
Melvin: And boy goes in, but what comes out will amaze and surprise you!
Ash: Yes, they will not be the only ones. (Ash disappears into the Box. Melvin closes the box and puts a padlock to seal the box shut).
Melvin: Abra... Cadabra! (The box begins shaking rapidly before a burst of blue flashes from the inside of the box. Melvin gets extremely nervous before the box explodes revealing Stoutland. The Crowd applauds the act. But then suddenly the Glass ceiling tiles burn a hole, and a red fog comes through and makes its way to the stage. Once there it explodes, blowing both Stoutland, and Melvin away. Once the smoke dissipates, standing on a Stage is Butler and Merilyn! Iris and Axew shout in shock of seeing him).
Iris: Butler!
Axew: No way!
Melvin: Hey! Wait your turn, friend. You are ruining my act.
Butler: I have no time for amateurs. (Butler makes his eyes glow yellow and makes him go flying into Stoutland, knocking them both the stage). Give me the Legend Plate of Arceus!
(Butler is still commandeering the Stage demanding the Legend Plate).
Butler: If it is magic you want, it is magic you shall have! (Butler uses his Staff to cause multiple explosions throughout the room. From the Audience, Iris says).
Iris: Butler is up to his old tricks. Looks like a job for Dragon Girl.
Axew: And Mega Dragon.
Butler: Hand over the Legend Plate, or I shall destroy you all! (Then he hears a Voice say).
Voice #1: You forgot to say, "Pretty Please". (Then he hears a second voice saying).
Voice #2: And "Kick my Butt Please!" (Butler looks to see Both "Dragon Girl" and "Mega Dragon" arriving on the stage. He is pleased to see them come to him so easily after he notices the Legend Plate in Iris' Bracelet).
Butler: The Legend Plate, Dragon Girl, and Mega Dragon. How convenient. (Suddenly, Stoutland tackles Butler to the Ground. He only has his Staff between him and Stoutland). Merilyn, d... do something!
Merilyn: Yes, uncle. (Merilyn used a Swift attack on Stoutland, getting his attention, and distracting him enough for Butler to make his eyes glow yellow and force Stoutland off him and send him flying into a Stand, destroying it. Iris and Axew go to attack Merilyn but then a Swift attack from her hits them, sending them flying away from her. But then a bowling pin hits her in the back. She looks to see it was from Mohn, Zoroark, and Pikachu. She sends a powerful Bonemerang at them, and they run away. But it keeps getting closer and closer and then they jump off to the side, behind a booth. Then when Merilyn turns to look, it is too late, as Iris is already jumping into the air and deliver a powerful kick to her face, knocking her to the floor with Axew on her shoulder).
Dragon Girl (Iris): Since you are palling around with Butler, you are no friend of mine. (Suddenly someone grabs Iris by her Bracelet arm. She looks to see it is Butler).
Butler: There are kinds of Luck, child. Let me show you the bad kind.
Dragon Girl (Iris): Guess what? (Iris and Axew Smirk at Butler). Because I am not just Lucky anymore, I totally kick butt! (With her own strength, she flips Butler over her head onto his Back. He gets back up quickly, telling her).
Butler: Oh! Even with your new powers, you are no match for a Master Magician! (Oblivious to Butler, someone is pushing a Large Sound Speaker device to fall of its stand and onto him). Now give me the Legend Plate! (But Butler avoids in time to having it fall on him. It turns out that Stoutland was the culprit. Before he roars loudly).
Dragon Girl (Iris): Finders' keepers, you second rate act. (Then Merilyn comes behind Iris and Axew).
Merilyn: And loser's weepers. (She tosses two small rocks at Iris' feet. Iris and Axew think little of it, thinking it was a dud spell or something).
Dragon Girl (Iris): Is that the best you got? (The 2 Small Rocks start glowing purple and grow to become a Pair of Giant Hisuian Growlithe. Causing Iris and Axew to become a bit scared of them). Then again, that is quite good. (One of them tackles Iris and Axew, but Iris' punches it away. Before Stoutland arrives to help them out, tackling Merilyn to the ground. Even Drooling over here).
Merilyn: Get off me, dog breath! (Merilyn manages to kick Stoutland off her, sending him away from her. Then she sends a bunch of Seed Bombs at him). See you around, fido. (The attack causes an explosion around Stoutland, leaving a hole in the floor that he falls through. Meanwhile, Iris and Axew continue fighting off the Growlithe together. Iris is faring of against one, where she is trying to push against Growlithe's paws with her hands, but to mixed results, when she realizes that the other one is about to attack her from behind. She, in a surge of strength she takes the one she is fighting with and flips it over head and into the pouncing Growlithe knocking them both out. Axew is impressed, and so is Merilyn, but only briefly when Mohn, with Zoroark, and Pikachu pushes a Sound box into her, knocking her down. Mohn, Zoroark, Pikachu, Iris, and Axew reunite when Butler having had enough of these interferences in his Plan, makes his eyes glow yellow and shouts).
Butler: Enough! (With his Staff, he generates waves of energy that Blow Mohn, Iris, and their Pokémon past the curtains behind them, out the double doors and into a Large Hedge Maze. They crash through a Shrub wall, and land on their backs. They Recover and Mohn at once asks).
Mohn: Where's Ash?
Pikachu: I hope he is okay. (Then they hear a noise and see 3 Small rocks rolling up to Iris' feet. And they at once panic knowing what is about to happen. Moments later they are running for their lives through the maze, looking for a place to hide. They turn around a corner and Mohn grabs Iris, and they hide. One of the Growlithe follow them down the path, but they do not find their hiding place and run off to keep looking. While the other two keep going down the path ignoring the way that Mohn, Iris, and the Pokémon came).
(A Swirling red mist flies before crashing into the ground, revealing both Butler and Merilyn. They walk through the maze as Butler tells his niece).
Butler: Circle around, then drive them toward me like lambs to the slaughter.
Merilyn: Yes, uncle. (They separate from each other to catch their targets).
(Mohn, Zoroark, Pikachu, Iris, and Axew are still running through the maze looking for either a place to hide, or a way out. They arrive at crossroad point).
Mohn: This way! (They run off in opposite directions of each other. Iris and Axew run in one direction leading to another pathway before a dead end, they run down the pathway. While Mohn, Zoroark, and Pikachu are not as fortunate. As they end up at a dead end with no way to escape. The 2 Growlithe are about to attack them when suddenly Ash as Stoutland arrives and hits them both with Superpower, knocking them both out. Just then the Pokétrix logo begins beeping, and Stoutland turns back into Ash). Ash? You, ok?
Ash: Yes. Where's Dragon Girl and Mega Dragon?
Pikachu: I do not know.
Zoroark: I just hope she will be okay.
(Iris and Axew run around the corner, following the Pathway they took. Before leaning up against the Hedge Maze wall. When they stop suddenly at hearing a rustling sound from the other side of the wall).
Dragon Girl (Iris): All right, Butler, time for a surprise party. Hold on tight Axew. (Axew nods. And Iris does a back flip over the wall, intending to kick Butler to the ground, but instead gets Merilyn, Knocking her down. Iris takes the opportunity and grabs her bag where a part of her attacks come from). Not so tough without your bag of tricks, are you. (Merilyn has a look of regret and disappointment on her face).
Merilyn: I... I did not mean to hurt anybody, my uncle made me do it, I swear. (Iris and Axew are a bit skeptical to believe this).
Dragon Girl (Iris): Why should we believe you?
Mega Dragon (Axew): You are not exactly a Friend to us.
Merilyn: My name's Merilyn, I am Butler's niece. You know what he is like. He does not take no for an answer, I can help you! He is after the Legend Plate in your bracelet. (She points at the Aforementioned Plate she mentioned).
Dragon Girl (Iris): Duh. He wants it to magnify his powers.
Mega Dragon (Axew): Obviously.
Merilyn: That is not all. If he performs the ritual of Arceus with the Legend Plate at the highest point during the eclipse, he can recreate all the other Plates you destroyed. (Then they hear Butler's Voice echoing from nearby).
Butler: Making new friends, Merilyn? (Butler appears from a Hedge Maze). Give me the Legend Plate or watch them suffer a painful demise! (Butler has Mohn, Zoroark, Ash, and Pikachu floating in their Air above them).
Merilyn: I will not let you do this, uncle! (Merilyn takes her bag back from Iris and sends a flurry of Frosmoth from her bag at Butler, lifting him into the air).
Butler: Merilyn! How dare you betray me! (Mohn, Ash, and their Pokémon fall to the ground, as the Frosmoth carry Butler to the nearby Pool at the center of the hedge maze and drop him into it).
Dragon Girl (Iris): I presume you are legit. Now, let us go finish the job before Butler can dry off.
Mega Dragon (Axew): Yes. (Merilyn has a look of remorse from her actions just now).
Merilyn: My uncle's gonna be really, very mad at me, isn't he? (Seeing how Merilyn is not going to be willing to help, Iris suggests to her).
Dragon Girl (Iris): Ok, then go with our grandpa and Zoroark. Ash, Pikachu, Axew and I will manage your uncle. (Merilyn becomes thrilled at this and hugs Iris, who is looking and feeling weirded out by this).
Merilyn: Oh, thank you! Thank you! And I will never forget this. (Iris, Axew, Ash, and Pikachu run down the pathway, both reflecting on what just happened with Merilyn).
Dragon Girl (Iris): Uh, is it me, or was that a bit weird?
Ash: You are a Superhero now. Trust me, people act weird around us. (They arrive at the Pool and see Butler floating in the air with the water rising beneath him like a geyser. Ash and Pikachu look to the Pokétrix and see it in the Red). Uh, my watch is still in the red. We Need to wait.
Dragon Girl (Iris): We cannot! Axew use Dragon Rage! (Axew uses Dragon Rage and is ready to fire it at Butler but slips a bit of Pool Water and misses firing the Dragon Rage into the Pool, luckily hurting only a man, a woman accompanied with a Meowth. Sending them all blasting off into the Sky, shouting something. No one hears what it is, but an onlooker hears them shouting something about "Blasting off again". Seeing Axew's failures, Iris goes to Jump towards Butler but fails on the ground to the shock of Ash and Pikachu). Uh! (Ash and Pikachu are not going to let Butler get away with this and goes to act when his eyes glow yellow and holds them up in the air. He then goes and grabs Iris by the wrist, gasps at something he sees).
Butler: Give me the key! ah! huh? (His look of shock turns to a Smile). Mm. (He releases his grip on Iris as she and Axew go and stand beside Ash and Pikachu). We will see each other soon and finish our business then. (He disappears in a burst of Red Smoke. Once the smoke dies down, the group is confused as to what has just happened).
Ash: Uh, what just happened?
Pikachu: I do not get it.
Axew: Iris? (Iris looks to her Bracelet and gasps in shock to make a discovery).
Dragon Girl (Iris): The Legend Plate! It... it is gone! Merilyn.
(Meanwhile on a nearby building, Merilyn and Butler have reunited. With Butler having understood what Merilyn did and why).
Butler: Playing innocent was genius, my dear... Though you should have informed me first!
Merilyn: Yes, Uncle, I was wrong not to, but I had to think fast when the Dragon Girl surprised me. (She gives him the Legend Plate she took from Iris).
Butler: No matter. Soon I shall have enough power to destroy all my enemies and rule the world!
(Back with the group, now in front of the Northern Star. Mohn and Zoroark sit, leaning against the RV. As they recall what happened to them just now).
Mohn: We turned away for just a second, and wham! When I came to, Merilyn was gone.
Zoroark: Sorry guys. (Iris and Axew feel especially regretful of their mistake that led to this).
Dragon Girl (Iris): All that "my uncle made me do it" stuff was just an act. She needed to get close enough to me to steal the Legend Plate. A Hero I turned out to be. (Iris and Axew takes their Masks off sadly. Axew looks down regretfully).
Mega Dragon (Axew): A Pretty Poor one. (Pikachu tries to cheer Iris and Axew up).
Pikachu: It is okay Iris and Axew.
Ash: Right now, all you should care about is how to stop Butler and Merilyn before they recreate those other Plates.
Mohn: She said the ritual would take place at the highest point during the eclipse. and the highest point around here is... (Gwen sees the location where they will likely to be and points to it).
Axew: There!
(Butler and Merilyn Jump onto the rooftop of the Highest Building just as the Solar Eclipse begins its first Phase called, "First Contact" this is the start if the Solar Eclipse. Just then a nearby elevator opens revealing a small group of people. One of the men in the elevator sees Butler and Merilyn there and panics, as he begins closing the "Close Doors" button rapidly. Just in time because when the doors close, Butler fires a beam of energy from his staff at the doors, sealing them shut).
Butler: I do not want anyone to disturb me. (Then he looks up to see the Eclipse very Quickly moving into the 2nd Phase called, "Second Contact". Then Butler takes the Legend Plate and begins reciting a Spell as part of the Ritual). Barban Hextida Zerzam. Barban Hextida Zerzam. (The Legend Plate begins glowing as it flies into the Air up to the top of the radio antennas as it glows dark red).
(Ash, Pikachu, Mohn, Zoroark, Iris, and Axew arrive at their location of the tower building in the Northern Star. Mohn parks the car, and they group gets out of the RV).
Mohn: We are running out of time. The eclipse is only A Couple of minutes away.
Zoroark: We gotta hurry.
Iris: Guess it is all up to you, Ash.
Axew: Good luck Ash. (Ash and Pikachu feel bad that Iris and Axew are feeling down on their luck, given what happened).
Ash: I will need a bit of help. Still feeling Lucky? (Iris and Axew do not feel overly confident in themselves).
Iris: What can I do without my powers?
Axew: You are the real hero here. (Ash puts a hand to Iris' Shoulder).
Ash: Hey, you never needed magic powers to help before.
Pikachu: You both are heroes in your own rights. (Iris and Axew Smile at this kind gesture of theirs. They look to see in the building lobby the elevator door opening with the Small Crowd from before arriving).
Iris: Elevator is out. How are we gonna get up there?
Ash: Easy for Buzzwole. (Ash looks to see the Pokétrix is in the red, and not ready for use yet). Oh, man, that Stinks! Stupid watch is not working yet. (Zoroark looks to see something and gets an idea).
Zoroark: Hey, what about that? (Mohn sees where Zoroark is referring to).
Mohn: But that window washer's Platform is. (Mohn and Zoroark run off in the direction of said Platform is. While Iris, Axew, Ash, and Pikachu hang back).
Ash: And I have an idea for My own ride. (Ash and Pikachu run off to get their "Ride". While Iris and Axew run to Follow after Mohn, and Zoroark).
(Meanwhile at the Top of the Building, multiple blasts of energy go flying in random directions from the Legend Plate. While Butler and Merilyn are there as he continues reciting the Necessary Spell as the Eclipse draws ever closer).
Butler: Barban Hextida Zerzam. Barban Hextida Zerzam. (Before he can continue, he hears a voice saying).
Voice: Did you really think you could ditch us that easily? (He looks to see it is from Iris and Axew in their "Dragon Girl" and "Mega Dragon" rising from the Window Washer Platform). Now give us back the Legend Plate, or deal with the formidable powers of Dragon Girl!
Mega Dragon (Axew): And that of Mega Dragon!
Merilyn: This is fully bogus. She cannot have any powers; it is some kind of stupid trick. (Butler's hand glow yellow, making Iris and Axew Rise into the air revealing that Mohn and Zoroark are with them, and Mohn is letting Iris stand on his Shoulder. He tosses them down onto the rooftop flow).
Butler: Your silly stunt has gained you nothing. (Iris and Axew stand up tells them smugly).
Dragon Girl (Iris): You should know better than anyone that sometimes magic is about misdirection. (Butler is confused by what Iris meant by that. Until he hears a noise that makes him look over, but it is too late as Ash rides his hoverboard (That he got from Mega Aggron) into his face with Pikachu on his shoulder. Ash and Pikachu are having the times of their lives of their lives as they fly around the tower on the hoverboard).
Ash: Wahoo! Yes, I forgot how great fun this thing is.
Pikachu: Me too! It is a total blast. (Ash and Pikachu see Mohn, and Zoroark waving their hands at them, trying to get their attention).
Ash: Hey, Grandpa!
Mohn: Ash, Butler is... (Mohn and Zoroark are too late as Butler climbs onto the hoverboard...).
Ash: Uh! Aah! (... And Leg Sweeps Ash into his losing his balance and almost falls off the Hoverboard but manages to hold on for dear life).
Butler: I shall not have anyone deny my destiny as ruler of the world!
Ash: That ain't gonna happen.
Pikachu: No Way! (Butler makes his staff glow with power and tries to hit Ash's hands to make him let go and fall, but he pulls his hand away in time to avoid getting hit, but in doing so the overboard does a full 360° clockwise spin, and then tips the hoverboard more in Butler's direction, making it uneven for Butler to stand on as he tumbles backwards a bit. Then Butler takes another swipe at Ash's Hand, but he pulls his hand back in time. As the Hoverboard keeps flying around. While Iris, Axew, Mohn and Zoroark go fight Merilyn. As She calls out to her).
Dragon Girl (Iris): Hey, Merilyn! Heard any good stories lately?
Mega Dragon: Because we might have one for you. (Merilyn throws a flurry of Seed Bombs at them, sending them all flying into a Nearby Roller Coaster Seat. Then Merilyn gets an idea and tosses another Set of Seed Bombs at the Control Panel, destroying it and starting the Roller Coaster ride with no way to stop it. While Ash, Pikachu, and Butler continue to fly around the tower with Ash's Hoverboard. Ash is still hanging on Deerling Life with Pikachu. Ash dodges another swipe from Butler when his Pokétrix finally powers on and shows the Icon for Machamp. Pikachu sees this and alerts Ash).
Pikachu: Ash! It is time!
Ash: Yes! It is time for arms of fun! (But Ash was not looking at his Pokétrix hand which was not on the hoverboard as Butler hits his other hand, making him and Pikachu fall off the hoverboard and to the ground. As they are falling, Ash activates the Pokétrix to go Machamp...).
Pokémon: Trevenant. (... But gets his recently added Grass Pokémon, Trevenant). Hold on tight Pikachu. It is going to get a little bumpy. (Pikachu nods and holds on tightly, as Trevenant stretches his arm and grabs a nearby signpost, just before hitting the ground, and swings back into the air wildly. Before reaching his hoverboard again, and spins it around, taking control of it, as they end up flying back to the Tower. Merilyn watches as they crash land on the rooftop deck and fall off the Hoverboard. Butler falls unconscious, Trevenant and Pikachu are okay. But Trevenant notices Pikachu looking a little dizzy). Take a breather Pikachu. (Trevenant grabs Pikachu and sets him down against a Wall to rest and recover. Then Trevenant and Merilyn see Butler's staff lying on the ground and see an opportunity to take it. Merilyn throws a flurry of Seed Bombs at Trevenant who dodges, which causes them to hit the railroad tracks, destroying them. Then he sees Mohn, Zoroark, Iris, and Axew still moving along the roller coaster tracks. Trevenant gasps as he sees that they will eventually follow off the tracks.
Dragon Girl (Iris): We are not going to make it! (Iris Screams).
Mega Dragon (Axew): Ash! Help Us! (Axew Screams. As the Roller Coaster goes off the tracks).
Trevenant: Iris! (Iris continues to scream as Trevenant stretches his body out and manages to grab the Cart in time. But as he pulls it back up, the cart slams into the building, causing Iris and Axew to fall out of the cart and begin falling to the ground. Luckily, Trevenant grabs them in time). Gotcha! (Trevenant sighs in relief. Just then the Eclipse reaches its 3rd Phase called, "Totality", the Moon now completely covers the Sun. The Solar Eclipse has reached its Critical Point, this is what Butler and Merilyn have been waiting for. Butler recovers and stands back up as he tells Merilyn).
Butler: I will take it from here, Merilyn.
Merilyn: That would be a big no, uncle. Change in plans, I get the power of the Legend Plate and the Plates, and you get squat. (Butler is in shock at his Nieces change in attitude, before seeing his Staff on the ground nearby. But before he can grab his Staff, Merilyn gets with a Shadow Ball that sends him flying into a Large Air Vent Pipe with grates that ends up dented upon him crashing into it. This Causes Butler to go unconscious once again). I just needed a Master Magician to perform the re-creation ritual, and now that That is complete... (Merilyn walks off). Now, where was I? (The Legend Plate shoots off Sparks of Energy as Dark Storm Clouds gather in the sky around the Legend Plate. From the Legend Plate a bright yellow circle of energy forms before breaking up and revealing the 5 Plates that Iris destroyed before). The power of Arceus will soon be mine! (But then she hears an all too familiar voice).
Voice #1: Show's over, Merilyn! (She turns to see Trevenant, Pikachu, Mohn, Zoroark, Iris, and Axew standing there. And Iris is holding Butler's Staff).
Mega Dragon (Axew): So just give up now! (She laughs at what Iris thinks she is going to do with the Staff).
Merilyn: That staff only works in the hands of an expert magician. (Suddenly the Staff fires a blast of magic energy that sends Marilyn flying into a wall, knocking her out. This Leaves everyone in shock as No one, not even Iris, saw this coming).
Pikachu: Woah!
Zoroark: No Way! Iris! How did you do that? (Iris shrugs her shoulders).
Dragon Girl (Iris): Ok... How come that worked?
Mega Dragon (Axew): No Clue. (They look up to see the Legend Plate firing blasts of energy everywhere and the Plates still present moving in a circular direction. Trevenant looks to see Butler a little groggy but is conscious again. Knowing that he must be the one to act, he stretches his arms out and grabs each Plate in a finger, and squeezes them till they burst one by one, destroyed again. This releases a shock wave of energy that creates a Cloud-like vortex that causes gaseous purple smoke to come from the Unconscious Merilyn's body. By now, Butler has fully recovered and is watching this happen, just as a gaseous purple smoke comes out of his staff).
Butler: Do you know what you have done?
Trevenant: Saved the day? (Butler is about to attack them when he too begins having the gaseous purple smoke drained from his body before falling to the ground. The Legend Plate begins absorbing All the purple smoke into itself. Before it bursts from its position to the ground in front of Iris and Axew. She picks it up and stares at it. They watch as the Moon moves from its "Totality" Phase to its 4th Phase, "Third Contact" and then at once into its final phase, "Fourth contact" thereby ending the solar eclipse for good. Just then the Pokétrix logo begins beeping before Trevenant turns back into Ash. Then Iris and Axew look at the Legend Plate in her hand sadly as Ash and Pikachu walk over and watch as she places it back in her Bracelet. She sighs sadly).
Dragon Girl (Iris): Ahh, looks like the magic's gone... And Dragon Girl along with it. (Axew also feels quite bummed about it, knowing this time it is surely for good this time).
Mega Dragon (Axew): Mega Dragon too. (Ash and Pikachu try to cheer them up).
Ash: Ah, do not be too bummed. There are other ways you can be a Hero.
Pikachu: Yes, tons of ways. (Zoroark walks over and puts a paw on Iris and Axew's shoulder to comfort them with a smile).
Zoroark: For sure. (Iris and Axew spot Ash's Hoverboard on the ground nearby).
Dragon Girl (Iris): Like... Riding on a hoverboard?
Ash: You know, (Iris and Axew begin running to the Hoverboard while Ash keeps rambling on while Pikachu sees this) to get good on one. Of these things takes a ton of practice.
Dragon Girl (Iris): Then I better start learning.
Mega Dragon (Axew): Me too. (Iris and Axew jump onto the Hoverboard).
Ash: Wait! Wait a minute! (They activate the hoverboard, flying into the sky together. Before Axew jumps off Iris' shoulder to stand in front of her. Wanting to feel the wind in his face himself).
Dragon Girl (Iris): Woo! (Iris and Axew begin laughing to themselves, already feeling better). Ha-ha-ha-ha! Ah, ha-ha-ha! (Unbeknownst to them, the Legend Plate in Iris' bracelet glows. Perchance the Powers of "Dragon Girl" and "Mega Dragon" were not really gone after all...).
