A/N So did you like the first chapter? Don't be shy leave a review;)

Anyways posting chapter 2 earlier than intended because I got my very first likes and saves. Thank you guys you are awesome! And also I was publishing this chapter at least half an hour because I couldn't figure if out how to post it.

Why am I even complaining? And to total strangers? Just never mind me and onto the story.

She was my guardian angel even though I couldn't see her wings. But I knew that they were there, protecting me.

Prim woke up a painful shaking of a firm hand. This wasn't Harry's hand she was used to wake up. She carefully opened her eyes to see aunt Petunia.

"Come down. Now. And don't wake up your brother."

"Yes, aunt Petunia," obeyed Prim. She quickly changed in her clothes and confusedly followed her aunt down the stairs to the kitchen. Uncle Vernon was already here.

Prim glanced at the clock. It was 4am. One hour earlier she and Harry were usually woken up.

"So…" uncle Vernon started, looking very unsure which wasn't like him at all. "Listen to me very carefully, girl. We have to tell you some things. First, the death of your parents."

Prim shifted uncomfortably. This was probably one of the times when uncle Vernon started telling the story how they died in a car crash and then shamed them.

"They didn't die like we told you. They were killed by some bad man who wanted to get your filthy brother. And m-m-m…" it looked like uncle Vernon didn't want to say the word. "And m-magic does exist. You, you are a witch."

Primrose stared at her uncle. What was wrong with him now? Was he playing one of his games again?

"I am a WHAT?" was the first thing she said without even thinking.

Uncle Vernon angrily sighed. "You are a witch, girl. Something you shouldn't be proud of."

"But you were always telling me that magic doesn't exist," she protested.

"Yes and? We were lying, because we wanted to protect you. Now stop with these nonsense questions and take it as it is."

"But how could you?" she asked, immediately knowing that she had gone too far.

"Didn't you listen to me, girl?" uncle Vernon growled and jumped to her. Prim backed a little, but he grabbed her tiny throat and raised her up. She gasped for some air and tried to answer.

"I did… I did uncle!" hearing those words he let her down. Then he leaned over her and asked in a dangerous tone:

"Is there something you still don't understand?"

"No uncle," she answered, anxiously shaking her head.

"Then repeat what have I told you earlier."

"Mum and dad were killed by some bad guy, magic does exist, and I am a witch."

Uncle slowly nodded. "Now do remember this. Say one thing about what's really happening here, in our house and I will take it on your worthless brother…"

Prim winced at that but didn't dare to protest. She knew that this wouldn't lead to anything better.

"…you wouldn't want to hurt your brother, would you?"

"No uncle," she whispered.

"Then tell no one about this, understood?"

"Yes uncle."

Uncle Vernon maliciously smiled. "I don't think that you really mean that. Maybe I should go and punish him like the last time."

In horror, Prim hung on uncle's hand. She still didn't forget Harry's screams for mercy and crying in his sleep. She couldn't forget how she waited in horror for the punishment to end. Last time was really bad. "No uncle, please! I promise I won't tell anyone!"

Uncle shook her off his hand and simply shrugged. "Do you really promise that?"

She tried her luck. That was the least she could do for Harry. "Only if you promise not to hurt Harry."

Uncle's crazed smile scared her. "You dare to ask me that? It's your lucky day, I promise."

Prim sighed in relief. "And I promise that I won't tell anyone." As she said those words, she didn't feel a lot better but if this could protect Harry...

Uncle Vernon's mood quickly changed to almost being happy and without worry Prim saw earlier. "Good. Now, go wake up your brother, you two still need to prepare breakfast for us. And today, you can eat with us."

Primrose obeyed and happily went up the stairs. I won't tell, she promised to herself. I won't tell anyone. I will protect him. I'll finally be better sister.

"Harry, wake up!" he was immediately awake. He put his broken glasses on and saw Prim. She was looking a little shaken even though she tried to hide it.

"Come on, we have to make breakfast!" she said with a grin on her face.

"Why are you smiling?" he asked confusedly.

"We get to eat with them!"

"Really?" Harry was very much sceptical of that. Uncle told them a long time ago that freaks don't deserve to eat with normal people.

"Really!" smiled Prim.

But… maybe he finally changed his mind about them. Maybe he realized that they aren't freaks.

And together they hurried to make the best breakfast ever.

It was 10:58am and everyone in the house of Privet Drive four was getting more and more anxious. Prim was biting her nails, dwhich she did every time she was nervous. The only one who wasn't nervous was Dudley, who was watching his favourite TV-show.

At exactly 11am the doorbell rang. Prim and Harry ran to open the door. There was standing a tall woman with a neat bun and small glasses. She looked very stern and took a long look over the Potters. Then her face softened and she smiled a little.

"Good morning to, I presume, Primrose and Harry Potter," kindly said the woman.

Prim took a deep breath. "Good morning to you too, Mrs…"

"You can call me Professor McGonagall. Now, could I get inside?"

"Of course, Professor McGonagall. Come in!"

They led her in the kitchen where were standing uncle Vernon and aunt Petunia to properly welcome her. Prim noticed aunt's forced smile when she offered the professor a cup of coffee.

When the formal greetings were done, professor McGonagall straightened in her seat. "Thank you for such pleasant welcome, but now I have to ask to remove these two boys from the conversation we are going to have."

"No problem, professor. Boys get up in your rooms," ordered uncle Vernon.

"Why?" asked Prim.

"You don't have to know everything girl. Be quiet," he ordered.

"Harry is my brother! He has to know!"

"Quiet! Now!" shouted uncle Vernon and raised his hand.

Professor McGonagall quickly put her hand up. "Please mister Vernon. There's nothing wrong with her asking." She turned to Prim. "I will explain everything, dear, but you have to understand that they need to go."

Prim nodded sadly. "Yes, Ma'am I understand." Harry and Dudley unhappily obeyed.

"So, to start with basic things. As you probably know, there is magic in this world. And the people who can use it are called wizards. And witches, of course. You, Miss Potter, are too one of us and to gain control over your magic, this September starts term in magical school called Hogwarts."

"Hogwarts? That's terrible name." snickered Prim.

Professor looked at her fondly. "Of course it is, dear. I have been saying this for over 30 years. Anyways, for this school you need some special items, which you won't find in normal store. So tomorrow I will come again and take you to a wizard store. Understood?"

With shining eyes, Prim nodded.

"Good. Now I have another letter for you which includes list of school supplies you need." She handed the letter to Prim, and she excitedly started reading.

"No, Professor McGonagall."

"Great! That's all I was meant to say. Goodbye!" She stood up and went to the exit.

"Em…Professor? I do have a question." called Prim.

"Yes, my dear?"

"Can Harry go tomorrow with us?"

Professor smiled sadly. "I am sorry, but if we don't know for sure that he's a wizard, he can't. I know these rules are stupid but look on the bright side. He will be accompanying you in two years."

"Okay," she quietly said. "Have a nice day, Professor!"

"You too," and after that she disappeared with a laud crack. Prim took a moment for herself and then returned to the kitchen.

"So, girl? Happy?" asked Petunia.

"Yes aunt," she said avoiding eye contact. "May I take my leave?"

"You may, but don't forget that you two need to prepare lunch." Prim nodded and hurried up the stairs in her new room. She saw Harry playing with two broken soldiers. They were Dudley's, but he forgot about them long time ago so she took them for Harry when she was cleaning his room.

"Harry?"

He flinched hard and quickly turned, making Prim sad at his reaction. Uncle Vernon crushed his trust before the age of five. "Professor McGonagall is gone. And… she didn't directly say that I can't tell you what she told me. So… do you want to know?"

His eyes shined. "Yes!"

Prim smiled and sat beside him. In a few minutes, she explained to him everything, and they even dreamed what does life in Hogwarts look like. She was excited about having an animal the most Harry on the other hand couldn't get past flying broom.

"When you'll be in third class and I in first, you'll let me use your broom, right? Right Prim?"

"Of course Harry. But we don't know for sure if you're a wizard."

"I hope I am wizard too, Prim. Then we will be at Hogwarts together," said Harry. Prim happily nodded. "I strongly believe that you are Harry. Not just believe, I know that."

"Are you two going to prepare lunch or not?" suddenly screamed uncle.

"We are coming!" Prim quickly replied and they went down to the kitchen. It was Saturday and because uncle Vernon was on a diet for two weeks they decided to make pancakes. Not even five minutes later, there was a beautiful smell of freshly baked food. Because Prim was better baker, Harry had to go in the living room to let the Dursley know that they prepared lunch.

"Uncle Vernon, we are finished," said Harry in a timid voice. Uncle barely looked at him and said, eyes keeping on television.

"Bring them here. Oh… and each of you can have… one and a half."

"W-what?" Harry stammered. Even if they were lucky, he and Prim were allowed one pancake for both.

"You heard me."

"Okay uncle. Thank you, uncle," Harry said still not fully believing. But he did go quickly before could uncle Vernon change his mind.

"Prim, Prim he said that we can have three pancakes!"

Prim smiled at his happiness. "See, I told you. Uncle has changed."

"But how did you do it?" asked Harry. "Last time he said to me that he would rather kill me than to allow me being a freak."

Prim stiffened in a second. "When did he say that, Harry?"

Harry noticed her seriousness and looked down. "During the last punishment. He was really angry at me. And he said a lot of those words to me."

"You didn't tell me that. Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't want to burden you. You had been punished too. And… I don't know, I believed him. I believed him that I would never be anything more than a worthless freak."

Prim hugged him, tears forming in her eyes. "No Harry, you are not a freak. You are the best brother and friend anyone could wish for. Don't believe uncle Vernon. He is very wrong about you. And you can't use my punishment as a card against me. We both know that mine wasn't as severe as yours."

"Okay," said Harry, still not fully believing her.

Prim sighed; she knew that she won't be able to teach Harry about his worth. It would take her at least a year but uncle Vernon could crush it in five minutes. "Forget it. Have a pancake."

He happily obeyed her and took a big bite. "Mmm it's really yummy."

"Of course, it is," she smiled. "I made it."

They ate in silence, both being grateful for Uncle's quick change. If this continued like this, they won't ever have to think about when the next meal will be. As soon as they finished, they started washing the dishes and it went quicker than ever.

"Are you finished?" asked uncle Vernon and startled them both.

"Yes, uncle Vernon," they answered at the same time.

"Good. Now go to your cup- I mean room and stay in. No chores today for you two. Stay in your room and be quiet. At nine you have to be asleep or there will be consequences, understood?"

"Yes, uncle Vernon," they said again and hurried into their new room.
