A link in the past

Chapter-1

Link and Zelda were going to the Hyrule Castle's underground when they found that thing. He had no idea how that.. whatever it was, he knew their names. Link shivered when the demon spoke.

"Ah Link. It's been centuries. You're just like how I remember. And you must Zelda. I can feel their power running through you. You must die!"

The demon unleashed the gloom energy towards Zelda. Link quickly blocked the attack, however, the Master Sword was shattered and his arm infected by the gloom, making him fall to his knees, crying in pain. What happened next was pure chaos. The demon unleashed more energy and the ground started to feel apart.

Zelda tried to reach out her unconscious knight, however the jewel that she picked up early growled an intense light, blinding her. When the lights faded away, Link was nowhere to be found.

"LINK!" Zelda cried out in horror before everything became dark.

Somewhere else, Link falls in a green field, with the gem in his left hand. His right arm, he felt so much pain.

"Are you alright?" asked a voice, in concern.

Link looked at the direction of the voice. His vision was blurry but he could see there was a woman and something else there.

"Zel…da?" he mouthed,before losing his consciousness.

Rauru was a zonai who was also the first king of Hyrule. He looked at the door where his sister and his wife, Sonia, took the mysterious youth in. Sonia and his sister, Mineru, knew they had to work quickly on the boy in the healing chamber. Whatever it infected his arm, Rauru could feel a terrible dread and evil energy on it. Then, the door opened and saw his wife and sister coming out from the chamber.

"How's the boy?" asked Rauru.

"He's alive, for now." said Sonia, looking back to the chamber where the boy was, lying on the bed, panting. "We weren't able to save his arm."

Mineru folded her arms, she looked at his brother with a concerned expression on her face. She never ever seen anything like the boy's infection before.

"Whatever that had infected the boy, it's pure evil," said Mineru. "Even after we amputated his arm, his body is still suffering from the infection. Sonia used her healing magic on the boy but it hadn't any effect. If we don't do something quickly, the boy will die."

Rauru frowns at this information; how is that possible? Sonia has the strongest healing magic in the realm, which rivals the healing power of the fairies. Even if they take him to a fairy fountain, it would be too late for the boy; the nearest fontaine is five days away. Then, an idea came to his mind.

"Give my blood to him." Rauru said, surprising the women. "As you know, my light power repels and destroys evil darkness but it is not a healing power. However, if we give my blood to him, it may help the boy to fight against the infection."

Sonia and Mineru looked at each other before looking at Rauru. Sonia commented that a blood transfusion was risky and they had no idea how a zonai blood would affect a hylian. Mineru sighed in frustration; she didn't like the idea either. They had no idea how a zonai blood would affect the boy, but they had no time to think about the consequences of the blood transfusion.

"Unfortunately time is not on our side." Said Mineru. "We will do the transfusion. I will watch the boy and make sure he will make it."

I admit, I have been reading roleswap stories lately and I finally decided to write one.
This story will focus on Link and his jorney in the past. Don't wory, Zelda will appear in some scenes.
