Two clones of Naruto and Sasuke were apparently found in the DC Universe and the only proof they needed was that they were in one of the most crime-ridden, miserable cities in the country, and they knew thanks to their shared memories between their creators and the clones, that this city was that thanks to them seeing a billboard about Gotham and like in every other time the Clones arrived in Another Universe Naruto added chakra to the universe.

The thing about the city that is rumored to be one of the worst cities in the country, thank goodness they still have their skills so any unlucky mugger who tried to do anything bad to either of them would wish this person had never been born.

At least that would be what they usually think if they didn't find themselves having changed quite a lot differently than what they once knew, by the time they managed to make it to a local hospital and got a doctor to see what the hell is wrong with them, he and his wife were shocked to see two people in their late teens suddenly had their bodies change as they became younger at a rapid pace, till they were both eight years old.

Naruto quickly understood what had happened their bodies were getting younger. They must have miscalculated and ended up years earlier than they were supposed to arrive becoming kids again so their bodies changed to cope and adapt to it. Martha was so shocked at seeing this that she was speechless until she heard one of the two friends speak, it was Naruto who spoke, seeing her react like this.

"We initially thought that we came to this hospital to get medical treatment or help, but in reality, it seems our reason for being here was one much different, it was to find you both, don't worry about this, once our bodies get used to the energy of this world, we will eventually return to normal, but that is going to be a bit of a problem for me and Sasuke, oh, that is right, we never got a chance to introduce ourselves to you and the doctor, let's remedy that, I am Naruto Uzumaki, and my friend is Sasuke Uchiha, we have come with the mission to help this reality become a better place, we are clones sent throughout the multiverse, to achieve this by our creators, the original Naruto and Sasuke. How can we be so calm after this happened to us? Simple, we are what some would call Shinobi, others would call us Ninjas."

The doctor kept looking at Sasuke as he was counting something, must be checking his pulse, until he heard what Naruto said, "You are right, that is quite problematic, two as you are would be considered kids not even in your teens, it would raise all sorts of questions, and all sorts of problems for you, and those that know you, as for who I am, I am Doctor Thomas Wayne, and the lady next to the one name Naruto is not a nurse, but rather my wife, Martha, someone else who heard you would think you are kids pulling a prank or two crazy kids having a hallucination, but I know better than that."

He looked at Sasuke and then walked over to where Naruto was listening to what Thomas just said, "As such since you said you are not from this world, you would have no birth certificates, or any papers showing who your parents are or where you were born. You also wouldn't have any school or medical records which again would cause a lot of red flags, some crazy person could technically even try to consider you aliens and want to use you as lab experiments, I hate to say this but the government could and would do that, if what is supposed to have happened on that Arizona base is true."

Martha asked her husband if there is nothing they could do to help them? Almost shocking Sasuke as she just offered to help two complete strangers, they don't even know if they don't have ill intentions or if they are trying to use them for some nefarious purpose, she honestly just wants to help him and his friend, it is rare to see someone as kind-hearted as this, "Actually Martha that is very easy, on paper, we could adopt them as orphan members of the Wayne Family we just happen to find, it shouldn't be too hard for me and you, using our connections to create all relative documents such as birth certificates and vaccination records, as for school records, we can simply tell anyone who asks us that both of them have been homeschooled most of their lives. Most know how eccentric the Wayne Family is, they wouldn't doubt it for a second."

Naruto decided to say something before Thomas continued, "That is true, and from the memories that we have from other clones visiting other worlds like this, we know that the Wayne Family is that well-known and connected, but there is one thing I must emphasis, neither I nor Sasuke would ever accept to abandon our family names, it is something we would never or could ever do, we are two of the last surviving members of our clans, as such if pushed we would have to reject your offered help if it means being able to retain our family names. We can't rebuild our clans if we choose to accept your family name instead of the one we were born with."

Thomas asked how could something like this happened to them, to have everyone related to them die, and leave only two of them left? Sasuke decided to answer since it was a rather simple question, "How? Take your pick, murder, betrayal, disease, tragedies one and all, but nothing I can tell you can negate the fact that our families were reduced to only one person left, it doesn't change the fact that it falls to us to rebuild the family or the clan that has been weakened to this extent, it is our duty to do so, and is also the reason we can't take your family name as ours, it is something that is made impossible by our duty and honor, and if we didn't have that honor, I don't think you would want such corrupt people to be part of the Wayne Family."

Naruto told them it would only be a matter of time before their bodies returned to normal, even as small as they are, they still retain all of their knowledge and skill, but since they appear to be not even ten years old, they would have to go through some rather frustration and insulting situations, no apartment building or business would even consider renting to a nine-year-old, they would think either of them is brats delivering a message by a parent, and would ask to speak to that parent instead, but in this world, they don't have those, and even back from their world, their parents died a long time before they came to this world.

"Some people get to enjoy their childhoods, they tend to spend time playing and having fun with friends, but neither Sasuke nor I had that opportunity, we were orphans, and nobody would have adopted us, since they probably have families of their own to take care of, and those that would want to is people that want to use and abuse us. So we had to grow up pretty damn fast if only to survive."

Sasuke decided to say that is not true at all, they weren't alone, kind of ironic that he was the one to say that, as he explained they have plenty of cousins, some are more pleasant to be with than others, Martha asked him for an example of one of these cousins whom Sasuke didn't want to spend time with, "Well how would you like to spend time with a gloomy, selfish, who only thinks of herself, who spends all the time drinking or gambling, while not caring at all how much debt she is racking up?"

Naruto punched him and told Sasuke not to speak about Tsunade like that, she was not like that at all, she was simply overcoming the grief of losing her brother and lover, she is also one of their world's finest doctors. She will work even if she has to go without sleeping or eating a meal to make sure her patient recovers, and she will do it whether or not the patient has enough money to even pay her, she will even buy that patient their medicines if they can't how can you say that about her when she does things like that?"

Sasuke told him she is a bloody Senju which is why, it wouldn't feel or sound genuine if he suddenly started singing praises to the one clan that had a feud with his own for several centuries. "I am merely being honest, without having to attach all that emotional baggage. Let's not forget this is a lady who is fifty years old, and she uses a technique to make herself look like she is only nearly thirty. Last time we saw her she was seventy, and she was still trying to pull that on everyone."

Naruto jumped up from his seat screaming that is it, both Thomas and Martha were worried that they would start fighting, but instead, Naruto began to laugh, "You brilliant emo bastard, that is it, how could I forget about that, if she can use that transformation technique to look younger, we can use it to look older, that is how we can at least look our age instead of looking like little kids."

Sasuke glared at Naruto, "Which is why I was mentioning that example in the first place, I had to be blunt to get my idea into that thick skull of yours Dobe, we can look like we are our proper age, eighteen, which should be considered adults, but Thomas is right, without a birth certificate, or some way to explain our background, we could end up being at best deported from one nation to the next for the rest of our lives, or worse they might even try to kill us, as potential security risks."

As much as Naruto would like to argue against what Sasuke said, believing in the goodness inside every person, and that such negative outcomes were nothing more than his friend's pessimistic views, he could not argue there was a grain of truth in what he said, even if he didn't like it.

"Alright, I get it, but again I ain't taking the Wayne name, period, as long as I can still rebuild my clan I guess I will accept this adoption, it is not like we are going to be the only children Thomas and Martha have. They can take the Wayne name and make sure the family name continues."

Thomas laughed as he heard Naruto, "Actually as it stands you four would be our youngest children, we have four children, two are twenty-three, and the other two are twenty years old, your elder brother and sister, as to what you can call us, I rather you just call us mom and dad, since we are going to be your parents."

Naruto didn't like it but he accepted to hell with semantics, if they had to call them that to survive, they will accept it and endure, as he looked at Thomas he nodded his head, "Very well Dad, when do we get to meet these elder siblings of ours? I think one is named Bruce if I am guessing correctly, but I have no idea what our elder sisters are called."

Martha was surprised that Naruto was able to guess the name of their youngest son, but she smile at him and told him her name is Bryce as to where their elder siblings were, that is simple, Bruce was at the local college getting ready to be able to run the Wayne company, and Bryce was in medical school trying to follow her father's footsteps as a doctor.

Sasuke told him if anything Naruto will more than likely end up writing a series of rather tawdry and quite frankly smutty books, Thomas asked him what books would those be? Sasuke told his new father that they would be called Icha Icha, and they focus primarily on romantic adventures, in various not-so-moral situations, this will cause the books as far as he knows to be loved by many people, but some might only purchase them so they can use them to start their barbecue grills, in other words, to burn them.

Naruto glared at his now brother as he finished saying this, "Cram it Sasuke, I don't want to hear that from a guy who not only plans to open a bar but actually distill new forms of liquors that this world had never seen, my books may help couples reignite the passion in their marriage, but you are going to help people ruin their health and for no good reason, other than making a profit."

Sasuke told him that drunken people tend to speak of things they normally wouldn't, as such thanks to his bar he can gather vast information about the activities of the criminal underworld, they are now related to the person they both knew as Batman, they might want to do something to help their brother in his long crusade against crime.

This surprised Thomas, and they asked him how do they even know about Batman, so Naruto decided to help him calm down by telling them how do they know who Batman is, "We are clones as we said, but we are also connected mentally with the other clones, so any information they obtain, we obtain, and in some of these other universes, they learned of Batman, and they even know that as far as they know Bruce Wayne was the person who wears that cowl."

Martha laughed upon hearing Naruto say this, "Actually son, that is technically not true at all, the title of Batman has been passed down the Wayne family for generations, Thomas here used to be the previous Batman, and the other thing you might not know is, that our family has a tradition that a Batman will eventually marry a Catwoman, in case you haven't figured it out, I was Catwoman when Thomas was Batman, I looked for my successor and trained her, luck would have it she fell in love with Bruce, so the tradition of the Bat and the Cat apparently will continue, that is why I trained her to my level of skill."

So eventually a man who spends most of the nights fighting crime will marries a burglar, to call this ironic would not fit, Naruto called it the law of opposite attract, Sasuke called it a disaster waiting to happen, till Martha put a stop to them since this also applies to both of their parents and unlike what they said, they both been and will be happily married in the past and many years to come.

"All I know is Naruto here was once called the undisputed prank master of our village, he used to sneak into places nobody should be in, lay traps, and do all kinds of horrible pranks on people, all this while wearing the single most hideous orange jumpsuit I have ever seen, I told him, to me that damn thing color was please dear god kill me orange. countless people became victims of his pranks, and some would be scarred mentally for life. If I had to say what I focused most of my skills, I have to say combat, I learned and trained my skills to kill as quickly and efficiently as possible, even when outnumbered. One of these skills allows me to hold lightning in my very hand and use it to shock my enemies till there is nothing but ashes."

Naruto glared at Sasuke for telling them, "Yeah, you complain all you want Teme, but deep down we are still ninjas, and as such stealth was always a key part of our training. At least I am happy to see you didn't become as cold-blooded as you summons, Sasuke here can summon an entire clan of snakes who are extremely deadly and skilled." Sasuke glared at Naruto and told him he has no right to be talking as he called him Toad Boy.

Thomas asked him what does he mean by that, to which Sasuke told him, Naruto also can summon a clan of exceptionally skilled animals, which in his case just happens to be a clan of toads, "I don't know much about their fighting abilities, and I couldn't very well ask the Snake clan about it, without pissing them off, apparently the Toads and Snakes known about each other for generations and held a deep dislike of each other for just as long. One example of what toads can do is they can spit out this oily substance that spreads where they want it, and then someone can like that sludge on fire."

Naruto told him he was one to talk calling him Snake Boy, "Well I do know that the snakes Sasuke can summon as experts in stealth, poisons, and creating antidotes. If there is a trace of poison or someone was poisoned, his snakes can identify that poison faster than any doctor and even know how to make an antidote for it. What Sasuke didn't tell you is that there is a set of skills called Sage Arts, and both Sasuke and I are Sages for our summons clan. Sasuke became a Sage by being bitten by the oldest and wisest of the snake clan, and he actually survived."

Sasuke looked at Naruto's smug look on his face, and he was not going to let this go, "You are one to talk the only way a person can become a Toad Sage is to learn to take the very energy of nature into your body, and if you fail, you would have ended turning into a large toad statue, never mind that the way that toads collect said energy is to sit down and meditate, quite literally sitting in place, like a toad on a log. How did they prevent him from becoming a lawn jockey? Simple, they smacked him with a wooden club to draw Nature energy from him before he turns into a statue, I don't know how many times he had to endure it, but knowing Naruto it had to be plenty. In contrast, I only was bitten one time."

Naruto was quick to mention that bite came from a snake the size of a small mountain, whose venom was potent enough that a single drop in a river could kill every single person in an entire nation if not the world. "The Elder is strong, as he has managed to live for that long without hurting a single innocent person, he is practically the snake's equivalent of a saint, so instead of casting shame you should be singing his praises, like much of the snake clan actually do, how did I survive living in that cave, without any human contact, who provided me with a safe place to live and all the things I needed to survive while I studied the Sage Arts? The Elder that is who, I lived with this person his wife, and his family for a long time, and they always treated me as family, do you honestly think my tailed beast would have joined me if I was not a friend of the snake clan?"

Martha quickly mentioned what does he mean by that, Naruto told her that by joining he means marriage, and his tailed beast in her beast form is a giant snake with ten wings, each making them look like they are rainbows. "Look what I want to know is when are you going to tell us about the two actual elder siblings you have not spoken of, and don't tell me it is because you want to keep what is said secret from anyone who might listen, even I can tell the security in this place is high enough, that any spy would have a hard enough time hearing a fly fart, then hear what we are talking about, because if that wasn't the case, you wouldn't be discussing your previous identities as Batman and Catwoman, and you would have told us to shut up about Bruce and Bryce."

Thomas decided to mention something that made his look sad to have to say, the subject must be hard for him, "You are right we have not mentioned your eldest brother and sister, but there is good reason for that, my eldest son is a detective, with the GCPD. You two will not meet him for several years if ever, he is deep undercover, but if you ever meet a man called Matches Malone, know that he will not harm you, your eldest sister however is someone whose name we can't disclose, but this for national security reasons, she works as an agent of the CIA. If their true identities are revealed it would mean they would be killed, and quite possibly the entire Wayne Family, hence why we tend to avoid mentioning them to you."

Naruto understood that they pretty much must keep their identity secret, considering they have been doing and will continue to be under false identities for the foreseeable future. "So when you said you trained your successor, does that mean our brother doesn't even get to choose who he will marry?" Thomas laughed almost like he heard Naruto tell a really funny joke, but Martha was dead serious when she looked at Naruto.

"I gave Bruce a list of potential marriage candidates, and I told him whom I felt would be the best for him, in this case, was a woman by the name of Selena Kyle, considering that she had already attempted to be someone that would be called a Catwoman wannabe, I decided to train her and educate her on how to properly do the work and taught her many things, I am confident that in a matter of a month or even a year, she will have Bruce tied around her little finger, with little to no protest."

Sasuke called it an arranged marriage, as he coined it, you can polish it, you can paint it, and you can perfume it, but at the end of the day, a turd is still a turd. Earning him a hit on the head by Martha for making a bulgar comment. Thomas looked at him and told him the Wayne family marriage practices are more akin to old traditions, it was never the place for the children to be allowed to decide who they can or can not marry, marriage was strategic, economic, and in some cases political, the marriage often meant the joining of two businesses, this should be no different, in the past the very notion that heirs of two families desired to marry simply because they love each other, they would call them insane.

Sasuke looked at him and told Thomas, or his father, that this could end up in disaster, trust can either strengthen a marriage or utterly destroy it if it is lost, or was never there in the first place, marriage is hard enough when the couple cares about each other, without that it is hell. What could have been a dream, turned into a nightmare, and the only desire left in it is to escape it as quickly as possible, by any means.

Thomas asked his son what he means by that, Naruto decided to answer that question, "Look, Dad, if someone told me I had to marry someone I never even met before, I don't know that person, I don't trust that person, and will constantly think they are trying to use me or get something out of me, this sort of thinking is not conducive to anything I would call a happy marriage, it would be no better than a woman knocking me out with some sort of gas, taking my seed, and making a baby inside herself without my consent, and later showing up to demand that I marry her, because I according to her knocked her up, and must take responsibility for that and the baby she is carrying."
