Chapter 22: I Want My Youth Back Part II
Danny was exhausted, dreading the next moment a woman fawned over him.
"Unbelievable..."He muttered, as he wiped the sweat off his forehead.
Sweat that was not from heat, but from the exhaustion he's suffering. Suffering that came from his unwanted "popularity" that he has been experience since his unexpected adulthood began.
It's reached to the point where lovesick strangers actually proposed to him of all things!
It was madness!
After he escaped those ladies who wanted to marry him, he hid behind a corner that had some large decorative plants and was trying to compose himself.
"I so miss being a teenager. I miss being late for school, I miss getting ignored... I even miss getting detention! What'd I'd give to be in detention right now, that would be preferable to... THIS!..."He thought, still hating this.
Funny how once upon a time he wished to get the attention of any girl his age, however he was now having second thoughts. If his new looks had the same effect on his female classmates as they do on these older women, then his classmates will be just as crazy for him.
"I can't believe that this is what I got to look forward to. I guess now I know the meaning of the phrase "Be careful with what you wish for." And for once, Desiree isn't the one to blame for all of this..."He thought, shaking his head.
He then noticed another admirer approaching him with a smitten expression on her face.
"Hey Cutie, wanna ditch this place and get a latte?..." She asked, sending him a flirtatious look.
Before Danny could politely decline the offer, a blue mist escaped his mouth.
"Uh...sorry...looks like I got something planned..."Danny said as he hoped that it was Helena.
However, he was soon proven wrong as the the doors were kicked opened. He could hear some loud arguments between two familiar voices. Voices that DIDN'T belong to Helena to say the least.
"No. Just, please no…" Danny muttered as he turned to the door.
Sure enough, Ember and Kitty were there and they were dressed up too.
Kitty was wearing a green skirt, red high heels, and a red top over her red jacket. Ember, on the other hand, was wearing a short, black skirt held by spiked belt, black boots, a black jacket over a black top, and her flaming hair flowing down.
"Made it..."Ember said, grinning.
"I was here first!..."Kitty said, glaring at her.
"No, I was!..."Ember said, glaring at her.
"What are THEY doing here?!..."Danny exclaimed in shock, as the two ghouls entered the adult's only restaurant.
"Don't stare at anyone else, I'm right here..."A woman flirted with him.
Danny was distracted by the commotion the ghouls were stirring as they started looking for him.
"Hey, you two need to show I.D's!..."The bouncer said.
"Back off, Bub!..."Ember said as she raised a glowing fist.
The guy was sent flying back as the two ghouls scoffed at him. However, they spotted Danny and the two ghouls grinned widely.
"THERE YOU ARE!..."The two went.
"GHOSTS!..."The admirer went before she ran for it.
Ember and Kitty both went towards Danny, who was cursing his luck right now.
"I can't believe I'm asking this but... please tell me you're here to kill me..." Danny begged.
"Far from it. Don't wanna risk hurting those rugged good looks..." Kitty said flirtatiously, showing that she was still attracted to him.
"And they'd compliment mine!..." Ember said, pushing her back.
"Back off!..."Kitty went, glaring at her.
"Oh no..."Danny whispered, as two of his female enemies fought over him.
"Leave me alone, Kitty. I was here first and I kissed him first!..."Ember yelled, glaring at her.
And I saw him first, so move!..."Kitty warned.
"Uh...any chance you both can leave peacefully before this become a thing?..."Danny asked.
"NO!..."Both ghouls yelled at him, before they went back to glaring at each other.
"You should go back and put on some actual clothes, Ember. If you weren't a ghost, you'd die from cold air..." Kitty said, hands on her hips.
"You're one to talk, showing off those thunder thighs! You probably slowed Greasy's bike by a 100 miles!..." Ember growled back.
Sure, they were friends but when both ghouls got a little competitive and they both ran into each other at the portal since they were here for the same reason.
To see Danny's new look again and to maybe try to have a chance with him.
"Back off, Ember! I saw the new look on him first, so I call dibs!..." Kitty exclaimed, eyes glowing
"Like I care about that. Go back to that greasy biker boy, Kitty!..." Ember shouted as her hair began flaming up, showing that she meant business.
"I don't believe this..."Danny sighed.
He actually lost count on how many times he sighed today.
He wanted ghosts attack, but he preferred Box Ghost over these two ghost girls. It turned horrible when the ghost girls turned to him, their anger turned to googly love eyes before they tried to get closer to the older looking Danny.
"So, handsome..."Kitty said in a flirty tone.
"Did you miss me?..." Ember said, holding onto his left arm.
"Not in the slightest..."Danny said, as he tried to flee.
However, they both blocked him and refused to let him go.
"Come on, dance with me.…" Kitty said, as she traced his right bicep.
"No, dance with me..."Ember said, sending him a seductive look.
"No thanks..."Danny said, gulping.
However, Miss Romano spotted Danny with them and got jealous. She marched over to them and glared at the two females that were with "Dante".
"Excuse me, but we were discussing business…"Miss Romano said in annoyance, not bothered that she was facing ghosts.
"And what business is that?..." Kitty said, as she and Ember glared at Miss Romano.
"The modeling business…" Romano said as she showed the drawings, getting their attention.
"Modeling?..."Ember asked as she looked at Dante's body.
"Oh my!..." Kitty said, eyes widening as they eyed them while Ember was practically drooling right now.
"Now that's a speedo…"She said with a smirk, as she imagined the ghostly man wearing these clothes.
Danny sighed deeply, covering his face with his hands as the two ghosts started looking at the drawings hungrily.
"Wow. If that's what the concept art could look like, I can only imagine what the real deal will be like..." Kitty thought dreamily, briefly fantasizing about it.
"I'm so stealing that when no one's looking. Baby pop may look good now, if he looks this good right now, that just made him a thousand times hotter!..." Ember thought.
Danny meanwhile hated the idea of wearing a speedo and subtly while no one was looking, used an ectoplasmic energy ray to destroy the drawing.
He didn't know it then but he just saved his own behind because the moment the ectoplasm collided with the paper, it began to burn, this of course frightened Miss Romano who was shocked by this sudden development.
"FIRE!..."The older woman yelled, trying to put it out and save the concept art of the clothes that she wants "Dante" to wear.
Danny took the opportunity to make a run for it, he didn't notice that Kitty and Ember weren't far behind.
"Danny!..."Kitty whined.
Unlike her, Ember smirked.
"Playing hard to get, huh? Well, I'm gamed, Babypop.."She said as the ghost man took a moment to relax.
Of course, that was only a brief reprieve.
Miss Romano grabbed a nearby pitcher of water to put the fire out. Also, not one to give up, she checked to see and was happy that her other drawings were still in tact.
"Thank goodness. Even so, I'm glad that I have the copies saved in my office..."She thought.
She was also quite observant because while she didn't see where Dante had gone to, she saw that his two latest admirers were running in a direction, she soon followed.
"Still playing hard to get huh? Fine, I love that in a man..." She smirked coyly as she went after him too.
Danny, seeing that the three girls were after him, just started running faster, dodging waiters that were on his way.
"I waited all puberty for girls to chase me, and now it's a complete bummer..."He thought in misery.
Ten seconds later
"Darn it..."Danny said as he was out of breath.
If someone asked Danny what he was afraid of, he was confident to say that women scared him.
How could people who were arguing with each other somehow collaborate to corner him in a pincer attack, cornering him at the wall.
"Seriously?! Can't you take a hint?!..." Danny said annoyed.
"I do not take a no for an answer, Dante. So let's get back to business, shall we?..."Miss Romano said firmly, making it clear that she won't take "no" for an answer.
"Please, something else happen…" Danny said as Romano started showing off the contract again.
However, something happened.
"Okay, let's discuss you in a speedo elsewhere..." Ember said, pulling his arm.
"Yes, away from you..." Kitty said, pulling his other arm.
"Excuse me! But he and I have business!..."Miss Romano stated.
The two ghouls glared at her, finding her really annoying now.
"Pfft...please! You have any idea who you're talking to?!..." Ember asked, as she and Kitty elevated off the ground.
To their shock, Romano remained firm and unfazed.
"Is that supposed to scare me?!..." She challenged.
"Uh... yeah. We're ghosts..." Kitty pointed out, but the business woman merely scoffed.
"You think you can crush powerful spirits? Otherwise, I'd advise you to run and leave him to us, or me preferably..." Ember warned.
"Nah. As the president of a major corporation, I have to do that every day..."Miss Romano said with a confident smile, surprising Danny and even the two ghosts.
"Huh... I oddly respect what you just said..." Ember admitted.
"Thank you... now get lost!..."Miss Romano shouted as she slammed her foot into the ground.
"Eh... no..." Ember said as she gestured to Danny.
"This handsome-..."She stopped once she noticed that Danny was gone.
Again!
"Where'd he go?..." Kitty asked, as the three tried to spot him.
However, he was out of sight, taking advantage of the situation to escape.
"Not again, you scared him off..."Ember said, arms crossed.
The three women glared at each other, but then they nodded at each other, a silent agreement to find their prey.
They then split up, to cover more ground. All the while, the ghost man was trying hard NOT to be found by them too.
Elsewhere
Danny hid behind the fountain, panting for air and sweating right now.
"Ember...Kitty...that crazy business lady and so many more. Geez, this is so the death of harem anime for me..."He muttered, wiping the sweat from his brow.
He groaned and cursed his adult body.
"Why couldn't I have grown into a guy with a bald head, unshaved face, hairy back and a body like a bowling ball? At least then I wouldn't be mobbed every 2 minutes..."Danny muttered bitterly.
Right now, he actually envied men who let themselves go, since they didn't have to deal with so much harassment right now.
"Can't believe I almost wish I looked like Lancer..."He grumbled.
He was about to go, only for five more women to stand in his way, having spotted him and were instantly smitten. As well as more women from earlier who still admired him.
"Dante!~..."All of them went.
Danny groaned as he found himself, once again, surrounded by women. He almost would have preferred to be surrounded by ghosts that wanted to beat him up than this.
At least then he could punch his enemies when they got too close.
"Why hello there handsome..." One woman said with lust in her eyes. "No ring around your finger I see... Good, care to come with me? I can show you a good time..."She said, before another one pushed her aside.
"NO! Come with me! I can show you the world!..." Another woman said desperately, while some other kept trying to flirt with him or offer him presents.
"Take this jacket! It's a LeManuel original! And it's made from real alligator!..." One offered, holding it out to him.
"Forget that! It's hot! I know a private place off the coast of Mexico! Wonderful beach spot!..." Another one said, sending him bedroom eyes.
However, Ember and Kitty spotted them and grew jealous. The two ghosts then got between Danny and his unwanted harem.
"BACK OFF!..."Ember shouted.
"If anyone's fighting over him, it's the two of us!..." Kitty shouted.
The fact that they're ghosts did not bother any of the women as all of them entered a big cloud of violence, fighting over Danny.
"He's mine!..."
"I saw him first!..."
"I'll have him first!..."Was heard as they all fought over him, but the ghouls didn't even bother fighting with them as they watched in mild amusement despite a tear here and there on their clothes.
Danny took that as a sign to run away.
"Definitely not the boy crazy ghost that I was waiting for..."He said as he tried to run and hide.
A few seconds later, Ember and Kitty were standing on top of the unconscious women.
"Too easy..."Ember said.
"I'll say..."Kitty said before noticing that Danny was gone again.
"Are you kidding me?..."She complained while Ember smirked.
"Well, it will make taking him for myself all the more fun in the end..."Ember said as they continued to search for the ghostly hunk.
Minutes Later
Outside the building
Danny phased out of the restaurant and was now in the alley.
He just needed to get away from all that madness of his admirers, both human and ghostly too. Thinking that he was alone, he let out a sigh.
"Finally... some peace and quiet..." Danny said in relief.
"I know. It's so nice..." Kitty was heard saying before she wrapped her arms around his waist.
"Kitty?!..."Danny exclaimed, seeing her back in her usual attire.
"Those mean girls ripped my clothes so I had to put on my usual outfit." Kitty said with a frown before smiling. "But never mind them! Now, it's just you and me..."She said, fluttering her eyes at him.
"Uh...what about Johnny?..."Danny said as he tried to break away as Kitty put her hands on his face.
She sent him a flirty look and giggled.
"One...Johnny and I are on break now, so I'm not doing anything wrong. Now, I know you don't want to do anything mean or hurtful..." She said sweetly before glaring.
"Unless you want to go to the bad place I sent Johnny to!..."She warned, eyes glowing now.
Danny flinched.
"Right... you can do that... somehow. Wait... why didn't you ever do it before?..." Danny asked since she never seem to try to do that once prior to him getting his chest symbol.
"I didn't have it before, don't ask. Anyway... be a good boy and let's have some fun?..." Kitty asked, switching to a sweeter tone again.
Danny gulped.
"Well... I don't want to go anywhere right now..."He said, avoiding eye contact right now.
Kitty smiled happily.
"I'll take that as a yes..."She said cheerfully as she then made her move.
To Danny's displeasure, Kitty placed her lips on his. The kiss was short as a blast of musical energy pushed her away.
"Back off! He's mine!..." Ember shouted, appearing in her usual outfit as well.
Kitty glared at her while Danny wiped his lips.
"I seriously hope it's been 24 hours at least since you last kissed Johnny!..."Danny complained, as Kitty glared at her friend/rival.
"You got to kiss him, so I should get the chance too..."Kitty argued.
"I ain't giving you any other chance at that!..."Ember shot at her.
"Don't I get a say in this? As in, rejecting you both outright?..."Danny said, but they both glared at him.
"NO!..."They shouted, seeing him as a prize instead of a partner.
Both of them fought, grasping hands and trying to push the other back as Danny watched with some interest.
"Part of me really wants them to keep this up, seeing as I actually kind of thought they were hot. The other part? Needs to stop this..."He thought as their cat fight ended and the two ghouls turned to him.
"Uh...why are you two looking at me like that?..."Danny asked nervously, while his unexpected admirers approached him.
"Be mine and the world is ours!..." Ember said.
"Be mine and I'll never leave your side!..." Kitty said.
"Look... I admit that part of me is super flattered and doesn't deny you're both pretty... but no..." Danny said flatly.
Oh... don't know you... I don't take no for an answer. Plus... you think I came unprepared?!..." Ember said as she readied her guitar.
"Wait... are you saying-?..."Danny said nervously, as the ghostly diva looked smug right now.
"I stored up like 10 times the amount of power when I first put that spell on you to make you fall for your friend that you're too good for now for weeks. I was saving it for a comeback tour... but I think making you my new groupie for a month would work better!..."The ghostly rockstar said, as she readied her musical instrument.
"Uh oh!..." Danny said as he morphed in time.
"Ember, no!..." Kitty shouted.
It was too late, Ember struck her guitar and aimed it at the ghostly man.
"Time for our love song!..." She declared with a laugh.
Danny was too late as he felt the beam hit him.
"NO!..."Danny shouted as his body absorbed the effects of the love spell.
Kitty gasped before becoming upset.
"Cheater!..." She shouted in fury.
Ember scoffed as she approached Danny, believing she had won the battle and his future. Danny just stood there, saying nothing while the ghostly diva kept sending him a seductive smile.
"So, Dipstick? As my new duet partner... let's seal this deal with a kiss while we cause a little trouble downtown and get some ice cream?..." She asked as she closed her eyes and puckered her lips.
She was expecting a kiss right now. However, to her surprise, Danny raised a finger and pressed it into her lips.
"Uh... no thanks. I'm not against ice cream, but trouble downtown is a deal breaker..." He said flatly, not looking like he was under any love spell at all.
Ember straightened up, shocked by these actions.
"What?..." She asked in a flat tone, having not expected this at all.
Kitty rubbed her eyes to make sure what she was was real.
"You're... not under a spell?..." She asked, sounding hopeful right now.
"No... shockingly..." Danny said, realizing he's not as crazy for Ember as he was for Sam.
Ember's jaw dropped before looking to her guitar, she got mad right now.
"What gives?! I put all the energy I stored up into this thing!..." She shouted, but Kitty pushed her aside.
"I knew it! Your love for me was so powerful that her spell didn't work on you!..." She gushed, as the ghost man sent her a frown.
"Kitty... you used to me make Johnny jealous then helped Ember and Spectra take over the town. I don't love you either..." Danny said flatly.
Kitty frowned at him, angry at the rejection. And Kitty was NEVER good with handling rejection.
"Let me show you what I do to Johnny to make him behave!..." She said, before pressing her hand on her lips.
"Uh oh..." Danny said, realizing that he might still be in trouble again.
Kitty blew her kiss at Danny, hitting him before he could go.
Ember watched in horror as Kitty grinned at seeing Danny glow green. However, the glow disappeared, leaving Danny as he was.
"HUH?!..." Both ghost girls went, shocked that he was unaffected.
"Uh... did you teleport me like 2 inches or something? Because I don't feel any different..." Danny commented, confused by how he didn't seem to have moved at all.
Kitty and Ember shared a look before the former blew another kiss. This one fizzled out even faster. Angered, Kitty blew one more, with Danny flicking it away.
She got even more upset now.
"WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!..."She shouted.
However, with no target, the kiss flew away before Johnny reappeared.
"Oh... finally!..." He said before noticing Kitty and getting on his knees. "Kitty! Please take me back!..."He begged, clasping his hands as she glared at him.
"Not now! I'm busy!..." She shouted before blowing another kiss at him.
"Aw, not again!..." He said before disappearing.
"What's going on here? You weren't affected at all! You are a guy, aren't you?..." Kitty questioned.
"I've always peed standing up if that's what you're asking..." Danny responded.
Kitty pondered before Ember snapped her fingers.
"Wait... I think I heard Skulker mention this once. He said that some ghosts are too powerful for stuff like that to work..."The ghostly diva said.
"Huh?..." Danny and Kitty went in unison, both looking confused right now.
"It's the same reason my music only worked on you that one time when those people were chanting my name. He said that for certain powers like teleporting or mind controlling, the effectiveness of those kind of tricks is dependent on the difference in power between the castor and their target. It's the same reason that buckethead Fright Knight never used his sword on King Pariah, he's too powerful..."Ember explained.
"Wait... so... you're saying...?..." Danny asked, looking stunned.
"Basically, the greater power can overrule or be unaffected by almost anything the weaker one does..." She explained.
"So... you're saying... my kiss and your love song can't affect him because he's that powerful in this form?!..." Kitty asked, sounding disappointed.
"Fraid so..." Ember said with a nod.
After a moment, both ghost girls cried in disappointment and hugged each other. The ghostly man ignored this, as he processed the information that he just received.
"So... you two can't use your powers to poof me away or make me fall in love? Because adult me is way stronger now? Wow... that's a relief..." Danny said, looking pleased right now.
The two girls weren't happy, but they also knew that there was little that they could do about this either.
"This was a bust!..." Kitty said as she blew a kiss to make Johnny reappear.
"Johnny... take me home! NOW!..."She ordered, not wanting to be here right now.
Johnny didn't question it. He was afraid to disobey her as he summoned his motorcycle.
"Let's go..." He said, as they both got onto it.
"Bye Danny... maybe you'll change your mind when you get here the old fashioned way..." She said sadly, as she waved to him while Johnny took off.
Once the two were gone, that left Danny and Ember, the latter groaned loudly.
"It figures... I come all this way and the one time I want my love spell to make you fall me... and you're immune to it now..." She said, looking frustrated right now.
"So... what now?..." Danny asked as the rocker sighed bitterly.
"I'm leaving, obviously!..." She said before groaning loudly.
"Really?..."Danny asked.
"No duh, my powers don't affect you and even I know that you are too strong for me to beat in a fight. Even if you're still not used to being of legal drinking age, I can't risk that..."Ember said, arms extended out to emphasize her words.
"DARN IT! Why do I have such lousy luck in the love department?! Skulker wasn't my best relationship but still on the top five, with the Dipstick, nothing got started... Typical..."She thought as she prepared to leave.
The ghost rock star was just about ready to go back to the ghost zone. However, she turned to face her enemy/crush once more.
"Y'know, I actually would have made you happy. I bet Kitty would've wanted that too..."She said, sounding surprisingly earnest right now.
"Thanks but... you know I can't stay like this. I have to change back...and we are still enemies and on the opposites sides, right?..."He said, gesturing to his new form.
"I know..." Ember said with a sigh. "Well... best of luck there, Danny. Still, call me when you reach this age naturally..." She said before flying way.
Danny was momentarily sympathetic to the two ghosts who came all this way for his love. Despite that they were willing to use their powers on him, they genuinely wanted him to love them.
"Ya know...if she wasn't evil and crazy, and I was my real age, I might have considered giving her a chance..."He said, only for his ghost sense to go off.
"Please be Helena... please be Helena... please be..."He muttered, but he was soon hit by the giant paw of a mole-like creature.
"Not her..." He muttered before phasing through the ground.
The giant mole noticed its prey disappeared, causing to look shocked before an uppercut to the face occurred.
Danny, now in his ghost form, reappeared and flew after the giant mole, happy to have a distraction to the terrible night he was having.
"It might not be Helena, but at least I can vent some stress..."He said, as the ghostly mole roared at him.
However, the ghost man just smirked now.
"Hello, Misplace Aggression..."He said, as he charged at the ghost that he will fight now.
A few moments later
It was a typical night in Amity Park, so it was no surprise that it was ruined when a giant ghost mole fell from the sky and into the streets.
The sight of a giant mole caught people's attention, so naturally, the started panicking and screaming.
"AHHH! A ghost!..."Someone shouted.
Team Phantom went outside and saw the ghost attack and panicked crowds. They figured Danny was fighting a ghost.
"Is it Helena?..."Sam asked, only to see a giant mole ghost appear.
"No...but honestly, I think some guys prefer this than dealing with her..."Tucker joked.
He was met with weird looks but they decided not to question his words.
"Alright, best get back..."Danny said as he appeared in his ghost form and shot at it.
Seeing the giant rodent on its back and weakened, Danny knew now was the time to capture it.
Adios, ant-breath!..." Danny said.
"Actually, we eat termites, earthworms, snails, beetles, and crickets..." The mole said, speaking in a surprisingly nasally type voice.
Danny lowered his arm and stared blankly.
"You can talk?..." Danny asked, surprised.
"Well... duh..."The mole said, like it was obvious.
"And... you said nothing before because...?..."Danny pointed out.
"Well, I'm cranky and wanted to vent my anger so I wanted to take it out on something. Not familiar with this realm in the Ghost Zone..."He said.
"Uh...you do realize that you are in Amity Park? In the human world, right?..."Danny asked, as the ghost mole lifted his head slightly.
"I am?..."He asked before lifting what was revealed to be his glasses for a better look.
"Oh...sorry about that. My eyesight isn't very good and I thought I was by Carnivorous Canyon. I took a wrong turn..."He said with an apologetic shrug.
"One heck of a wrong turn..."Danny said.
"Well, sorry about that. Like I said. I was upset, seeing as I was going through the whole "I'm not satisfied with my adult life" phase of my afterlife and wanted to vent my anger..."The mole said.
"I know the feeling. Still, you know I can't let you run amok, right?..."Danny asked.
"I know, but I'm a giant mole, and you're a man, so…RAAAH!..."The mole said before roaring and quickly jumped back to its feet, headbutting Danny away.
Groaning from the surprise hit, Danny quickly flew back up and started spinning around it, hoping to disorient it. The mole roared and tried to swat at him, but he was too fast.
As Danny was fighting the mole, he saw an opening to kick it into the air, then knee it to the ground.
"It's over..."Danny said, pinning it down and aiming his hand in case of more trouble.
"That's fair... I'm all vented out anyway..."The mole said in a surprisingly accepting tone.
Danny pulled out his thermos and sucked the mole ghost inside.
"Well, at least the extra power means shorter fights..."Danny said, smiling in some relief.
It was short lived as he noticed what was going on. That it was when more annoying people appeared.
"It's that totally dreamy ghost man who may or may not be related to Danny Phantom?!..."Someone shouted.
"Oh my, he's even more gorgeous in person!..."
"Hey handsome, you can haunt my house any day..."
"Not again..."Danny said as he flew away.
"Come back!..." He heard them all collectively shout.
"This can't get any worse..."Danny said.
However, that is when two groups of ghost hunters appeared to the area.
"Freeze, ghost dude!..."Was heard.
Danny turned around and saw some familiar faces.
The Groovy Gang quickly jumped out their van to ogle at Danny. The Extreme Ghost Breakers stopped next to their van. Well, Sullivan stopped, Brenner slammed face first on the van, too busy looking at Danny.
"Uh…you okay?..." Sullivan asked, only to be ignored as Brenner quickly stood up and joined the Groovy Gang into watching.
Sullivan had a deadpanned look on his face as he stared at the three people going gaga over the ghost. He then turned to the tiger.
"Can you believe this, dude?..."He muttered.
The tiger just growled in agreement as they watched the women and Andy drool over him.
Danny, all the while, was surprised to see them.
"The Extreme Ghost Breakers and the Groovy Gang?!..."He exclaimed.
"You know us?!..." Andy asked, looking excited now.
"Uh... yeah..."Danny said, while they smiled.
"Dude, we're famous!..." Sullivan cheered, but the ghostly man shook his head.
"More like... mildly known. I guess... like... kinda sorta like how most people know about chocolate ice cream but not a lot know about pumpkin flavor. Which, by the way, is a thing and not really that great..." Danny said.
"Oh..." Sullivan went in disappointment.
"Yeah, sorry..."Danny said, not actually sorry.
He figured that they were here for a fight, but he was soon proven wrong when the female members approached him with lust in their eyes.
"I promise not to blast you if you go out with me!..." Brenner went with a smile.
"Huh?..." Danny went.
"He's going out with me!..." Fran shouted.
Both women glared at each other as Danny facepalmed.
"Them too?..." He asked, almost used to this reaction now.
"I don't care if you're a ghost! You're hot!..." Brenner went.
"Uh... thanks?..." Danny responded.
"Go out with me and we can bike ride through canyons and make mountain climbing way easier!..." Brenner said with a smile.
"Forget that! He needs someone smarter and more mature!..." Fran snapped.
"You mean frumpy?..."Brenner mocked.
"I'M NOT FRUMPY! Take that back!..."Fran yelled at her.
"Make me!..."Brenner shouted at her.
As the two glared and gritted teeth at each other, one of the men walked up to him.
"So... umm..." Andy went, walking up to him. "Do you... which way do you swing?..."He asked, looking shy right now.
Danny raised a brow and despite his clueless nature, he managed to realize what he meant.
"Him too?..."He thought, before he decided to just be frank with him.
"I'm straight..." Danny said flatly.
"Oh..." Andy went in disappointment.
"No offense, I'm not homophobic or anything, but I'm only attracted to women..." Danny said, being honest.
"You don't seem remotely shocked..." Andy pointed out, while the white haired ghost shrugged.
"Dude, I don't care if you're bi or gay or whatever... That's none of my business. I just prefer to date women, that's all..." Danny responded.
"See?! Even ghosts have some level of respect!..." Andy went, glaring at Sullivan.
"I never said I was a homophobe!..." Sullivan shouted.
"Well, you never gave me reason to think you weren't!..." Andy went, still ticked from earlier.
"Hey, where'd the handsome haunter go?!..." Brenner went, seeing Danny gone.
They realized their target has disappeared.
"UGH! Andy! You let my future husband go!..." Fran shouted.
"Husband?! He's a ghost!..." Sullivan asked in an incredulous tone.
"Yeah! I don't care if he's a ghost! Plus... it'd be an interesting experiment to see if humans are biologically compatible..."Fran explained.
"Well, you'll have to settle for my notes! Because I'm gonna get my hands on him!..." Brenner shouted.
"Over my dead body!..."Fran snapped.
"That can be arranged!..."Brenner shouted, cracking her knuckles.
Both girls began to fight in a cloud of violence as Andy tried to get them to stop. Sullivan, meanwhile, groaned and shook his head in disapproval before looking to where Danny went.
"Ghost or not, I don't blame him..." He muttered.
He spotted the ghost flying away and turned to tell them, but when he saw the group arguing like rabid cats. He looked at them before at the ghost before he just went to a vending machine to get a sports energy drink, the one that was being recall due to how extreme it was.
"Good luck, Dude..."He said, toasting to the poor ghost dude.
Clearly, somethings were too extreme, even for ghosts.
However, he had no way of knowing that this sort of "extremeness" wasn't over for the ghostly man.
Not by a long shot.
