This is going to be a bit shorter than my normal chapters... Still please enjoy.

Disclaimer I don't own Harry Potter or its characters.

Sitting up with a throbbing pain in her head, seeing that she was in a field. Hearing Blaise and Draco talking about their surroundings or lack thereof. Looking around trying to find Harry and Ginny, "Harry, Ginny are you okay?"

Turning to hearing her name called, "Yeah, but your head."

"I'm fine, it's nothing." Turning to look behind her other side, finding Harry behind her. Noticing that Harry was holding a hand over a wound. Standing with a little wobble, Hermione made her way to him. After observing the wound, choosing which healing spell would be best and healed the wound.

"You need to heal yourself too 'Moine," Harry spoke, watching his friend turn to go heal Ginny next

"I will, it's just a little cut." Hermione answered. Khe knew they knew the basics due to their training as Aurors. It gave her a reason to feel useful, especially for the mess that they were in.

"We should figure out where we are, then play it by year," Harry spoke taking the lead looking around

"Year?" Draco looked at Harry confused

"It's just a muggle saying," Harry answered seeing the opposing boy roll his eyes. His gaze landed on Hermione, her gaze looking in all directions. "What's the matter, Hermione?"

"Well, we were in the Ministry building. Now we are in a field, you don't tend to travel to different locations. You stay in that location. Did anyone see anything?" Hermione asked, confusion written on her features

Her lack of knowledge allowed everyone to take a moment to think of their last moments before ending up in this place. Everyone remained together while Draco decided to turn away from the group. Old habits might be hard to break, Hermione thought. After a while, Blaise finally spoke up.

"I'm not sure what the spell was, but thinking back to when I could feel the air shift, they got a spell in."

Hermione sighed, "Not good." Muttering under her breath

"What is it?" Harry asked, hearing that tone. The one she used when she didn't like the outcome of her thoughts

"Not knowing the spell makes it harder to determine how this has affected the time travel. Secondly, if it is possible to get back."

Watching Draco turn back to the group, a look of horror and disbelief on his features, "What?"

Sighing, "You heard me. When you travel you have to keep as many of the variables as consistent as possible to keep the traveling smooth. However, if one of the variables changes or even new ones enter as everything is beginning to accelerate or decelerate the chances increase of something going wrong." Hermione explained

"'Moine, could you say that in simpler terms?" Harry asked, glad to see two others were just as confused as he was

"When that spell hit us, it changed the outcome drastically."

"That's bloody wonderful! From the start of this, we should have just returned when nothing seemed right. But no. We had to get that damn object put away, then instead of fighting we fled. Now, we are wherever we are with you people as my company." Draco ground out, pissed at the outcome of the day

"This wasn't our plan, Malfoy. We all had better things to do with our day, rather than spend it with you. It's clear that we're not your type of company, you like to pay for yours." Hermione hissed

"I don't have to pay for my company, unlike you," Draco smirked

"You bastard."

Harry moved to stand next to Hermione who clutching her hands, "Please, can you stop? We need to figure out what we're doing."

"Shut up!" They both yelled at the boy. Throwing his hands in the air he walked back to stand with Blaise, who was just waiting for the next scene to start

Watching them throw words back and forth, Ginny was becoming fed up. Not listening to either boy who protested her moving in between the two. "Hermione now is not the time to be doing this. There are problems that need to be fixed, this is solving nothing. We're all hungry and we need to figure out what the spell was."

Standing between two of the strongest witches and wizards she knew. Hermione had always come off as a bookworm, but she was more than that. She proved that every time someone needed something done, having the knowledge and then using it. The boy flaunted himself at every chance, however, he had the knowledge. Whether he chose to show that, that was a different story.

"You're right." Hermione turned to her friend, while Draco grunted turning from the group again

"Now that that's settled, let's head this way," Harry spoke, walking in the direction he dictated with Blaise beside him

It was a long two hours. Between Draco's complaining and the lack of finding anything, there had to be a different route. Hermione called to Harry to stop, who did and looked confused.

"Harry, doing it this way isn't working. We should probably find a new plan."

Draco scuffed, "Great observation Granger. What are you going to tell us next? The sky is blue?"

"Draco, do you have a better plan? We're all ears if you have something to contribute! If you don't keep your mouth shut." Blaise responded before anyone had the chance

"We have no idea where or when we are, how do you come up with a plan?" Draco rebutted

During this moment, Hermione had begun going through her bag. Harry watched on, curious of what she might pull out of it. After a while of digging and the two boys stopped disputing with each other, Hermione found what she wanted. Pulling it out, "Harry, take this. We can put a charm on you to make you invisible for a time."

Harry looked at her and the unknown object in her hand. "What do you have?" Watching her enlarge the object

"It's a broom of course!"

Puzzled, "Why do you have a broom? You hate to fly?"

"It's in there for emergencies. Clearly now is an emergency."

Harry's smile was huge, enjoying flying. "I'll come with you. Another set of eyes will be better than one." Ginny spoke

Harry nodded, allowing Hermione to put the charm on them. "Blaise?"

Nodding to him, "Yeah, Harry?"

"Try to keep them from killing each other before we get back!" Getting an okay, they took off.

Hope you like it, I wrote this back in 2012 and I've tried to rework it. So if it sounds a bit childish I'm sorry. I wanted to keep as much of the original as I could, compromising some of the elegance. If you spot any problems, I tried my best to get them. Typing from paper to the computer is not something done a lot. Anyway, until next time stay safe and love yourself! ~DQ
