A Miraculous Date
"Woo-hoo! New chapter! And I think I already know who it's going to be!" Deadpool said.
"Yup. So le-"
"What are you two doing?" A familiar voice said.
Both of them jumped out of their seats, seeing a familiar face behind them with her arms crossed.
"Boss?" NeoMark went.
"Hey folks! It's Flower Princess11! Making a surprise appearance!" Deadpool said as a crowd cheered.
FP11 graciously bowed before noticing that there was no one around despite the sounds.
"How is he doing that?" FP11 asks.
"I have no idea..." NeoMark said.
"Well, in any case... what's going on?" She asks.
"Oh, NeoMark is doing that little project we talked about to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of the only crossover project from 2018 worth talking about that isn't Super Smash Bros Ultimate." Deadpool said.
"And by talking about you mean to wear me down by stealing our donuts?" FP11 asks.
"Still upset about that, huh?" Deadpool asks as FP11 holds up an empty box.
"I still kept this from the week before this started as a reminder of your promise to stop. Do you know how hard it is to get chocolate donuts so early and so soon in this location?" FP11 asks.
"Somewhat..." Deadpool said.
"So… who has he featured so far?" FP11 asks.
"He brought back Kim Possible and Gwen Tennyson, but he replaced Alex with her Sam." Deadpool said.
"Aww, I was kinda hoping to see Alex again." FP11 said in disappointment.
"He also added Abby Archer from Grossology to take the place of Emma from Stoked. Then he used Leni Loud in place of Diana." Deadpool said.
"I see. Interesting choices. So… who's next?" FP11 asks.
"Come see for yourself." NeoMark said.
"Must we add another?" Deadpool asks.
"Is this just because it took so long to update Danny and Kara? And that I didn't let you call Wolverine by the actor's name?" FP11.
"First off, I was gonna call him the Jack Man! Second, yes on both counts." Deadpool went, sounding huffy.
"Neo was right, maybe PD is more fitting." FP11 said.
"Whatevs… fine… I'm sorry for the attitude I had in that chapter… so… would you like to join us?" Deadpool went, trying to sound humble.
"Sure… I need a break after finally updating that." FP11 said.
"Sweet!" Deadpool said, taking a whole large pizza and started eating it.
"Where did he get all that food?" FP11 asks.
"I think it's best for both of us not to question…" NeoMark whispered.
Danny straightened his back as he returned home, getting back on his bed.
With a breath, he got his laptop ready to give Leni his rating.
"Well, she was a nice girl… but I don't know how well it'd work before she finds out my identity. She might be smarter than she looks but I'm worried she's not good at keeping secrets. Plus, her sisters thought I'd ditch her. So… I'll give her a 7." He said before doing just that. That's when his phone went off. "Hello…"
"Sup dude." Tucker was heard on the other side.
"Hey, Tucker. How'd it go?" Danny asks.
"Eh… okay, I guess." Tucker went.
"You don't sound so happy. Granted, you don't sound miserable, so that's something of a plus." Danny said.
"I went out with a girl named Britney Taylor. She's hot and a cheerleader from Lawndale. And she is nice, don't get me wrong, but...well, I think she was just trying to make her ex jealous and she wouldn't shut up about him. Even so, she wasn't trying to be mean and at least remembered my name, but I dont think it's gonna happen." Tucker explained.
"Oh… well… at least it wasn't some girl who stole your wallet or something." Danny said.
"Yeah… that's a plus…" Tucker said before a loud sigh was heard.
Later
Once Danny was done with his phone call, he saw his next date.

Meanwhile, with Sam
''So beautiful. I always love coming to lovely Paris..." Panela gushed.
"Yes, everything is much classier than back in Amity Park. Best part? No Fentons..." Jeremy said.
Sam rolled her eyes at that, choosing to ignore her parents in favor of some iconic scenery.
"Well… at least it's a place with some beautiful architecture. Just because I didn't want to come, doesn't mean I can't enjoy some of the stops." Sam said to herself as she took a photo of the Eiffel Tower.
Morning.
As soon as Danny woke up and left the house, the first thing he did was go to the flower shop. Once he got what he needed, he saw the time.
"I'll be late if I don't hurry…" He said.
Looking around, he ran behind the store and morphed, flying as fast as he could.
Once he was gone, a girl who did not see him ran behind the same building.
"I'll be late… Tikki! Spots on!"
Danny flew as fast as he could, the location he was to meet her was at Cafe De Fleur, where he had his date with Kim.
"I got this. I got this." Danny said to himself before hearing a scream. "After this!" He said in a panic as he made a U-turn.
As he got closer, he then heard a loud, shrill scream in a nearby alley.
"A GHOST!" The familiar voice of Paulina was heard.
Once he got close, he saw she was being menaced by a ghost bat.
It wasn't a big one, but she was still screaming.
"Thankfully… I can handle this." Danny said to himself.
"AHH! GET AWAY!" Paulina screamed.
"Don't worry, I got it..." Danny said as he pulled out the Fenton Thermos and captured it while its guard was down.
Paulina saw him and smiled in excitement.
"Ghost boy! You saved me!" Paulina went.
"Yes, I did." Danny said.
Paulina then spotted the flowers in his hand and smiled.
"For me? I knew you loved me!" She said as she attempted to hug him.
Danny pulled away and into the air.
"Sorry… but I have a date with someone else. This is for her." He said quickly before flying away.
Paulina was left, feeling her world suddenly shatter.
"A date? Someone else?!" She asks in shock.
"I'm late! I'm so late!" She heard someone say.
Looking up, she saw a figure in red with black spots going in the same direction as Danny Phantom.
This made Paulina's eyes narrow in anger.
Meanwhile, a limousine passing Paulina took notice of what she did.
"Ladybug? Here?" A man's voice asked.
Cafe de Fleur
Danny took a deep breath as he made it on time, having changed back before in time as he put on the sticker to wait for his date.
"Okay… let's see if this girl shows up." He said to himself.
He did not see a certain girl in red hide behind a car in the parking lot before a flash occurred. Out came what looked like a different girl as she put on the heart sticker. She spotted Danny.
"That must be him…" She said as she took steps forward and raised her hand. "Excuse me! Are you D Fenton?!"
Danny turned his head and was momentarily in awe of who called out to him.
He saw a girl about his age with black hair of a bluish tint in pigtails and blue eyes. She was also wearing a very dark gray blazer with rolled-up sleeves, a white t-shirt with black stitching and a flower design, pink rolled-up jeans and light pink ballet flats. As her description stated, she appeared to be of Eurasian descent.
With a breath, Danny smiled at her.
"Hi, I am. Just call me Danny. And you must be Marinette." Danny said.
"Y-Yes. How'd you know my name?" Marinette asks, startled that he said that.
"Because your username is Lucky Marinette. You don't look like a Lucky." Danny said.
"Oh… heheh… I see." Marinette said with a blush as she scratched the side of her head.
"Anyway… these are for you." Danny said, handing the flowers to her.
"Oh my… thank you." Marinette said as she took the flowers.
"Come on… let's get a bite." Danny said, gesturing to her to follow.
Marinette nodded as she took her first step, only to lose her footing and lean into Danny, who caught her.
Their faces so close, Marinette's face turned as pink as her pants.
"Uh…" She pulled away and had her hands behind her back. "Sorry! I'm not that forward! Honest! Total mistake!"
To her surprise, Danny smiled.
"No worries." He said.
Marinette sighed in relief as the two walked together.
So clumsy… She thought.
That reaction was… oddly cute. Danny thought.
"Ah… Marinette Dupian Cheng, Ladybug. I am not surprised, seeing as she's been the most requested character in the reviews." Deadpool said.
"She was?" Flower Princess11 asks.
"Yup. Can't go one chapter without at least one person asking about her. I absolutely had to use her for the same reason I had to use someone from The Loud House. The original story was in the late 2010's, and those shows aired and were at the height of their popularity in that decade. They were, and I apologize for using this term since they're both shows about minors, the new hotness at the time. Plus, she makes a good counter to Sabrina. Girl who is partnered with a magical creature while also being into a nice guy she knows back home… difference obviously being Marinette's a superhero."
"Yeah…" Deadpool said before recalling something. "Plus… wasn't Sabrina used from Secret Life?"
"She was… and that's the other reason I had to replace her with someone else." NeoMark said.
"It is?" Flower Princess11 asks.
"See… Secret Life was… not a popular series. Animated Series? Yes. But Secret Life was disliked for cast change, characters dropped, new characters, and Sabrina's characterization. I did consider using her 13 year old self… but then I remembered "Oh yeah… Marinette exists." And, as said, Marinette was kind of the new girl at the time and using her show's popularity would have been a good touch. Plus, given her name being tossed around and her appearing in other stories, I'm seeing Marinette as a character people wanted in the original Many Dates story." NeoMark said.
"So… why wasn't she in the original?" Deadpool asks.
"Don't get me wrong, I love Miraculous and I like Ladybug as a character. However, I am a Marinette x Adrien shipper and I didn't see it as in character for Marinette to try the service due to her feelings for Adrien." FP11 said.
"Huh? Really? No issues with the show? Then again, that was after the original story. Still, that's it?" Deadpool said.
"Yes, it is. I don't oppose her appearance here though." FP11 said.
"Glad to hear. In fact, allow me to address something I know people are going to say. I know someone's going to say we shouldn't use Marinette… due to how divisive a character she's become. However, keep in mind that we're not talking about who would be here if this story was made now, we're talking about who could've been there back then. This was before Miraculous and Zagtoon started to get a bit of heat on them. This was prime Ladybug time, so I think she still fits. And before someone points out her show is still running, it had two seasons finished by the time Smash Ultimate was released, so we're good there too. Now… let's see how this date turns out." NeoMark said.
"Okay, let's see what happens." Flower Princess11 said in anticipation.
"10 bucks says they kiss on the lips!" Deadpool shouted.
Inside the restaurant.
Danny and Marinette were inside and soon were lead to the table.
"Thank you, Danny." Marinette said as Danny helped her into her chair.
"Not a problem." He said as he took his own seat.
Soon, they sat at the table and were handed the menus. The waiter arrived.
"Welcome to Café De Fleur. What will you have?" He asked them.
"For now, I'll take some water." Marinette said.
"Iced tea for me." Danny responded..
Once he left, that left the two teenagers alone as their date has officially started.
"So..." Marinette said, looking awkward right now.
"So, tell me about yourself..." Danny said, unsure what else to say.
"Well, there isn't much. Like I said on my profile, I am from Paris and my mother is Chinese but my father is of French and Italian descent. I also have an interest in fashion and I also like to design clothes. I also dream of becoming a fashion designer one day." Marinette said.
"Neat..." Danny said before giving his own info. "I'm looking to become an astronaut."
"Wow... that's so cool." Marinette said as she swung her arm out in eagerness to hear more, only to accidentally hit their waiter on the side, almost hitting his groin. "Oops!" She went, getting ready to look like she'd try to help him. "I'm so sorry!"
"It's fine... I can't afford kids anyway..." He said weakly as he handed them their drinks and free breadsticks. "I'll be back... after I get some ice..."
Marinette returned to her seat, turning red with embarrassment as Danny watched.
"So... uh..." Danny went but couldn't finish.
"Yeah... I'm... kind of a klutz." She admitted.
After a long moment, the two found themselves unsure of what to say now.
"So, what kind of outfits have you drawn?" Danny asks to get her mind off that..
"Oh, well… mostly casual stuff and accessories. I once designed a hat that won a local contest..." Marinette responded.
"Huh, neat." Danny said as he lifted his drink to his mouth. "So how-" Due to condensation, the glass slipped out of his hand, landing on the table and spilling. "Aw crud…"
"Oh… lemme help with-" Marinette started as she lifted her napkin, only to spill the silverware on the floor. "Uh oh…" She tried to reach for it, only to hit her head on the table. "Ow!"
"Do you need help?" One waiter came to aid them.
"Oh no. I got this." Marinette said, only to accidentally knock the breadsticks over.
"Wait, I got it." Danny said, only to knock some of his own silverware over and end up on the floor. ''Sorry..." Danny apologized, feeling embarrassed as he tried to pick them up.
"Not a great first impression…" A petite girl's voice was heard coming from Marinette, despite that not being her voice.
"Huh?" Danny went, only to hit his head on the table.
The waiter felt some pity for them despite stifling his laughter.
"I see you and your boyfriend have the same level of awkward clumsiness." The waiter mused.
Marinette froze up as she got on her feet.
"Uh… it's a first date. So, calling me her boyfriend is super premature." Danny responded as he rubbed his head to soothe it.
"Right… not that we'll be a couple." Marinette said, quickly realizing how rude that must've sounded. "I mean… we might be? After all, no one knows how things will turn out. It could go really good or really bad. Who knows?… and… I'm realizing I should stop talking now." Marinette admitted.
It was then she noticed all eyes were on her. Her face now flushed with embarrassment, Marinette froze in place.
"Ah… well… no worries. It happens…" The waiter said, trying to sound polite as he gave her new silverware and handed Danny the napkin to clean the iced tea off before taking the glass to get more.
Marinette then sat down, too afraid to move.
After a long, very awkward pause, Danny broke the silence.
"So… picked something to eat?" Danny asks.
It took Marinette a moment to register what he said.
"So… that didn't convince you to call it off?" She asks.
"Nope." Danny said, raising the menu.
Feeling a bit of relief, Marinette looked at the menu.
Wow... he's almost as clumsy as me... and he's really nice too... Marinette thought in relief.
Wow... where has she been all my life? Danny thought in amusement.
That's when the doors burst open.
"GHOST BOY?! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Paulina shouted.
Both of them turned their heads as they, and the rest of the diners, watched Paulina storm in.
"Paulina?" Danny asks.
"Friend of yours?" Marinette asks.
"No, but I know her." Danny said.
That's when Paulina marched into the restaurant, passing by Danny and Marinette.
"I know I saw him go this way! There was this girl on the rooftops following him. She wore skin tight red and had black spots!" Paulina shouted.
Though Danny didn't see it, Marinette flinched.
"Uh oh..." She muttered.
"She looked like... like a... Dalmatian!" Paulina shouted.
Marinette's concern left her.
"Dalmatian? Wouldn't that be a ladybug?" She asks out loud.
"No one asked you, Pigtails. Now get lost!" Paulina snapped.
"Miss... I'm going to have to ask that you leave before we call the police." The manager said.
"You can't do this to me! My Papa will buy this place and fire you!" Paulina snapped.
"No, I won't." The familiar voice of her father went.
To Paulina's surprise, her parents appeared and they too looked angry.
"Papa? Mama? What are you doing here?" She asks.
"We were having a business lunch when all of this nonsense happened. And we're not going to stand up for you. Apologies, I'll escort my daughter out of here..." Mr. Sanchez said.
''We both will..." Mama Sanchez said as she and her husband dragged their angry daughter away.
"NO! YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME! I KNOW MY GHOST BOY LOVES ME! I KNOW THAT GIRL IS AROUND HERE! STEALING HIM FROM ME!" Paulina shouted.
Her parents ignored this, dragging her to their car before driving off.
Danny shook his head at the unimpressive scene that they had just witnessed.
"I can't believe my password used to be Paulina Fenton..." Danny muttered.
His date, however, was still reeling all of this in.
"That was... extreme." Marinette said.
"Yeah... but let's forget about that and order some food." Danny said.
Marinette lightened up.
As the waiter arrived, someone who had been seated moments before Paulina's outburst overheard the commotion.
"So... Ladybug is here? Wonderful..." Gabriel Agreste said as he sipped his tea.
After lunch
Danny and Marinette finished eating, and soon went on a walk together, trying to figure out their next move.
"What'd you think?" Danny asks.
"That was pretty yummy." Marinette said.
She smiled as Danny decided to resume small talk.
"So… tell me about your friends?" Danny asks.
"So… My friends include my Alya, Juleshka, Rose, Nino, Kim, and Alyx. In fact, Alya is the one who suggested we try this as a way to get to know people in America. Of course, if Adrien had come then I-"
Marinette then paused before her eyes darted to Danny.
"Who's that?" Danny asks.
Marinette laughed nervously.
"He's not my boyfriend! Yet… I mean… probably not but who's to say I'd say no to… uh…" She went awkwardly.
After a long pause, Danny raised an eyebrow.
"So… who's Adrien?" He asks.
After a long pause of trying to look innocent, Marinette sighed bitterly before giving.
"He's… the boy I have a huge crush on. At first, I thought he was another mean rich kid like Chloe since he was friends with her...but then I realized how kind and sweet he is and that I was wrong about him. He is actually a really warm person and has an amazing smile, despite how cold and rigid his father is. Not only that but his hair is so...and his eyes are so...wow. To be totally honest with you… I went on this trip as an excuse to spend time with him… only for him to get sick and stay home at the last minute. His father's on a business trip though, not sure where though…" Marinette admitted.
"So… you're into another boy… and on a blind date with someone else?" Danny asks.
"I'll be honest… I only did this because everyone else was and I didn't want to feel… out of place. I also haven't exactly met what you'd call studs. One of them was this older boy named Jonesy who hoped I was taller yet still thought I'd be charmed by him. Another was named Flash Thompson, a bit of an egomaniac athlete. To be honest, you're the nicest boy I've had so far… and I just admitted I'm interested in someone else back home…" Marinette went apologetically.
She remained silent, thinking that she blew it with him.
However, to her surprise, she saw a small smile on Danny's face.
"I get it. It's hard to get over someone. Y'know that girl at the café? Paulina?"
"Yeah?"
"I used to have a crush on her. Don't get me wrong, if judging by looks then she's a 10 out of 10… but when you apply personality, she's about a 5."
"Oh? So how-"
"Below 0." Danny finished.
"Oh…" Marinette went before realizing what he meant. "So… how'd you get over her?"
"It took time… But, from what you told me, this Adrien guy sounds the polar opposite. I bet he'll realize how… cool you are. You're fun, nice, great to talk with, and, to be blunt here, very pretty." Danny admitted.
Marinette blushed at that.
"Thank you."
"And if he can't see that… well… there's plenty of fish in the sea." Danny said.
"Like you?" Marinette asks.
"That depends… care to continue this date?" Danny asks.
Even after what I just admitted, he still wants to continue this date? Marinette thought in surprise before smiling.
"Sure." She said.
It was then they heard a loud cry. They followed the sound and, to their displeasure, saw it was Paulina making the sound.
"My ghost boy! He's been seduced by some red Dalmatian girl! I made this doll of him just to show my devotion to him too!" Paulina cried, holding out her doll.
Danny and Marinette made faces at that.
And people think my devotion to Adrien is unhealthy… She thought.
"Let's go…" Danny said as Marinette followed him out of the park.
As Paulina was left crying her eyes out, she had no idea she became a target for someone else.
Inside a hotel
A man opened his window to let light in.
"A broken heart… unrequited love… all the makings of a perfect recipe." Someone said.
A tall man in a mask appeared with the butterfly miraculous.
It was the infamous Hawkmoth, the most dangerous supervillain in all of Paris.
He was surrounded by butterflies as one of them landed on his hand.
"Ah... so Ladybug is here. Wonderful. No sign of Cat Noir, but one of their Miraculouses is better than neither." Suddenly, the butterfly that landed on his hand turned dark before leaving. "Fly, my little akuma…" He said in a sinister tone.
At the park
Paulina's tears had finished as she held her doll of Danny Phantom with much sadness.
"You're supposed to be mine. It's just not fair..." She whined.
That's when a dark butterfly landed on the doll, merging with it as Paulina felt a presence.
"Celosa Rosa. Greetings... I am Hawkmoth..." That same sinister voice said.
"Who... who said that?" Paulina asks, looking around.
"No worries. I am a friend. I know who stole the one you love. She is known as Ladybug." Hawkmoth said.
"You know that girl?" Paulina asks, feeling anger at hearing her name.
"I do... she has stolen something from me too. Her earrings are rightfully mine. So, we have a common enemy." Hawkmoth said.
"Earrings? What are you getting at? Why are you telling me this?" Paulina asks.
"I can help you. I will grant you a power that will bring this city to its knees and find that girl. Bring me her earrings and you may keep this power. Destroy her afterwards if you'd like, she will be of no concern to me then, but do as I say and the city and its hero will be yours forever..." Hawkmoth said in words that sounded like sweet honey to her.
Paulina smiled evilly as she stood up.
"I don't particularly enjoy being told what to do... but if you can make my Ghost Boy mine forever... I'll make an exception." She said as she began to change.
With Danny and Marinette
"Really? You live in a bakery?" Danny asks.
"Technically, I live in the apartment above the bakery my parents run. Still, I know a thing or two about baking, not that I want to pursue that as a career." Marinette said.
"No but if you end up living alone in an apartment while off to college, you'll need to know how to cook for yourself. Me? I can't make much more interesting stuff than a cup of instant ramen or microwavable mac n cheese." Danny admitted, earning a laugh from Marinette.
"Well… you wouldn't be able to live off astronaut food forever, right?" Marinette asks.
"Probably not." Danny admitted.
"Still… from what you told me…" Marinette said as she turned around while still walking. "You sure sound like you got a good shot at it."
"I sure do." Danny said.
And I also don't monetize my hunting ghosts, no matter how much Tucker thinks I should. Danny thought.
"Well… Danny Fenton, space captain. Has a nice ring to it." Marinette said.
"I'm joining NASA, not Starfleet… not that I wouldn't want to be a captain of a starship." Danny pointed out with a smile.
"I know… but I bet you'd be great at that." Marinette said.
"Only if you can be our suit designer, and join your dad in the galley because I'd hire him from how good you say his food is." Danny said.
"Thanks for the offer but I think he's happy where he is." Marinette said as she kept walking backwards, not seeing a discarded can behind her.
Once she stepped on it, she tripped. Reacting fast, Danny bridged the distance and caught her by wrapping his arm around her.
Holding her as if he was dipping her in a dance, Danny stared into Marinette's eyes as she stared into his. Both of them felt their faces go warm.
Wow...she is even prettier up close. Danny thought.
"Umm… can you… lift me up now?" Marinette managed to say.
"Huh?" Danny went before recalling the compromising position they're in. "Oh… right!"
He lifted her up, letting go once she was on her feet.
With that, the two resumed staring at each other.
For Danny, he still couldn't help but admire the sweet and pretty girl from Paris. For Marinette, she also couldn't help but admire her new American friend, despite the fact that her heart was set on someone else.
Before the two could speak, someone approached them.
"Excuse… Me. Have you… seen… Ghost Boy? Or… Ladybug?" An African-American bald man asked in a robotic tone.
"Uh… no?" Danny went.
"Ladybug?" Marinette asks.
"Must… continue… search…" The man said again before leaving.
Both teenagers noticed the odd way he walked. His legs did not bend, yet he lifted them off as if he were a doll being "walked" by the owner.
"Why is he walking like Frankenstein's monster?" Danny asks.
"How'd he know about Ladybug?" Marinette asks.
"Ladybug?" Danny asks.
"She's a superhero in my town, like Danny Phantom of your town allegedly is. Still, unlike members of the Justice League or the Avengers, she's not exactly well known around the world…" Marinette said.
Before Danny could ask her, he noticed other people walking past them. Men and women with the same blank expressions and walking in the same robot-like manner.
"Must find… Ghost Boy. Must find… Ladybug." They said in unison.
"Is this… normal in your town?" Marinette asks.
"Uh… not this specifically, but we've had weird stuff." Danny responded as he mentally questioned what was transpiring.
Weird… my ghost sense didn't go off… Still, none of my enemies would know of a Ladybug. He thought.
"Where is he?!" A familiar voice shrieked in anger.
Turning their heads, the two saw someone hovering above a crowd of people.
It looked like a teenage girl, but she looked more like some doll. She was wearing a dress that was designed like a red rose but also had lots of thorn-like spikes sticking out of it, such as a spiked belt, dark green boots, matching gloves and a mask. She also had long black hair with what looked to be rose petals in it. She also had a heart symbol on her chest, one with a DP logo within it.
"Who is that?" Danny asks.
"Find him! Find my beloved Ghost Boy!" She shrieked as she raised a familiar Danny Phantom doll that shot beams out of its eyes, causing those to look into said eyes to stiffen and how. "Go!"
"Yes, Celosa Rosa!" All of them said in the same tone as the people before.
"Wait… that doll… is that… Paulina?!" Danny asks. He then turned his attention to Marinette. "Marinette… I-"
He saw her looking into her bag before she looked over shoulder to see him looking at her. Causing her to stiffen up and face him with an awkward smile.
"Uh… yes?" She asks.
"Why were… never mind. This is gonna get dangerous, so I suggest we-"
"Hide? Good idea! Let's go… there!" She said, pointing to a public restroom used at the park.
Danny was momentarily at a loss before realizing that was a perfect hiding spot and place for a cover.
She can hide… I can go ghost and find out what's going on. He thought.
"Good call." Danny said as the two ran for it.
Once close enough, they parted and entered their respective places to enter.
Once Danny made sure he was alone, he nodded.
"I'm goin' ghost!"
Meanwhile, Marinette opened her bag and out came a tiny little creature.
"Are you sure, Tikki?" Marinette asks.
"Positive. If this isn't Hawkmoth's handiwork, it's someone just as dangerous." Tikki responded.
With a nod, Marinette looked out of the door. She didn't want to leave Danny, but she had a duty to protect innocent people, no matter where on Earth she was.
"Tikki! Spots on!"
Celosa Rosa watched from above with arms crossed and her finger tapping impatiently.
"Hurry up! Every second I'm not with my Ghost Boy is a second that bug girl is seducing him!" She shouted angrily.
"I haven't met a bug girl!" A familiar voice called out before Celosa Rosa turned her head. "But she sounds neat..."
Before her was her intended romantic partner, Danny Phantom. With a happy gasp, Celosa Rosa clasped both hands.
"Ghost Boy! You're here!" She went.
"Paulina?" Danny asks, making sure he wasn't mistaken.
"It's me! You can call me Celosa Rosa! Or Celosa! Or Rosa! Or your love, since that's what I am now!" She said as she got closer and hugged him, wrapping her arms around his.
Though her touch was tight, Danny tried his best to ignore that.
"Uh... what happened to you? How'd you... become this? And did you turn these people into slaves?" Danny asks, sounding more confounded by the second.
"Never mind all of that. The important thing is that I have powers too now. We can be together!" She said as she closed her eyes and attempted to kiss him.
In response, Danny phased his arm out to put a finger on her lips, alerting her of his rejection.
"Listen... Paulina."
"It's Celosa Rosa now, mi amor." She said sweetly.
"Paulina." He said flatly to make it clear he's not calling her that. He then phased out of her arms and hovered back 2 feet away. "I'm flattered you're still interested in me... but I am not dating someone who would use her new powers to turn people into slaves."
As Danny crossed his arms with a serious tone in his voice, Celosa Rosa's left eye twitched.
"You're... rejecting me?!" She asks, sounding like she'd snap.
"No duh." Danny responded.
Angered, Celosa Rosa lifted the doll.
"I was hoping not to use this on you, but one way or another, you'll love me forever!" She shouted.
The doll fired beams, causing Danny to fly out of the way.
"Hey! I'm flattered by the likeness but I'm not letting you use that on me!" He shouted.
As Danny dodged her laser, the lasers kept hitting random things and people. Paulina noticed and spotted a girl cowering on the slides, giving her an idea.
"Slaves, picked up that slide, now." Celosa Rosa ordered.
Mindlessly, the slaves walked to the slide and grabbed the legs, and with some struggle, pried it off the ground, making the girl scream.
"Hey!" Danny exclaimed as he stopped flying and ran towards the slide, only to stop as a laser almost hit him.
"Tsk, tsk, Ghost Boy, you should know your soulmate by now." Celosa Rosa said, wagging her finger at Danny. "If you move around too much, my slaves might get tired and drop the slide."
Danny gritted his teeth as he looked at the girl, crying as she held on the slide. Celosa Rosa smirked as she aimed her doll at Danny, charging a laser.
That's when the doll was knocked out of her hands by what looked like a yo-yo. Surprised, Danny quickly shook it off and flew towards the girl as the slide toppled from the slaves' grip. He caught the slide and lifted it up away from the slaves before putting it in a safe place.
"Here, it's okay now, little girl." he said gently as he picked the girl off the slide and put her down. "Go somewhere safe."
The girl hugged Danny in gratitude before running to somewhere safe.
"Hey!" Celosa Rosa shouted as she quickly picked up her precious doll.
"Hey yourself! No one should play with dolls this extreme!" Someone called out.
Danny turned his head, seeing who was it that knocked it out of her hands. His jaw dropped.
He was looking at a girl about his age, wearing a red suit with black dots, and a red mask with black dots. Despite the mask, Danny could tell she was beautiful, especially with her sparkling, blue eyes.
"Whoa..." He said, face turning as red as her suit. He then decided to land near her. "Hi! You must Ladybug."
"Hello there, Danny Phantom." Ladybug said with a wink and a thumb's up.
"Yeah... not sure what you're doing all the way out here, but thanks." Danny said as he let his eyes wander.
Despite being the same age, Danny could see that Ladybug was equal to Paulina in terms of how hot she is, and the red, skin tight suit helped show it off.
That is super form fitting for a girl her age... He thought.
"Eyes up here, hero." Ladybug said with a smile as she pointed upward.
"Heheh... sorry." Danny went.
"It's okay. I get that from my partner too." Ladybug said, secretly eying him.
Noting that if she looked closely, she could see that he was lean and muscular, unlike Noir's lanky form.
Seeing the two getting along, Celosa Rosa felt her blood boil.
"NO! NO ONE WILL HAVE MY GHOST BOY BUT ME! CHANGE OF PLANS! ATTACK!" She ordered her hypnotized dolls.
The slaves all moved towards the two teen heroes, who stood side by side. The slaves attacked, but they were just civilians, so they had no skills to hurt the super powered teens.
"Any ideas?" Danny asked, turning intangible to avoid a garbage can. "I really don't want to hurt these guys."
"We need to destroy the doll, like now." Ladybug said as she jumped over a charging civilian. "If we destroy that, she'll lose her powers."
"Really? It's that easy?" Danny asked, confused.
"Not as easy as you think, Phantom." Ladybug said.
Danny focused on Celosa Rosa, more specifically, at the doll. He aimed a finger at the doll and fired. Celosa Rosa, seeing that, quickly moved her doll away, the beam grazing her precious doll.
"How do I beat that bug?!" Celosa Rosa exclaimed as she held her doll protectively.
"Ladybug has a power she can only use once. Create a situation where she has to save someone and she'll use it. It'll power her down, then you can claim her Miraculous!" Hawkmoth ordered.
"Perfect." Celosa Rosa said with a smile before seeing a few people she's hypnotized. "You there! Walk into the street!"
The slave nodded and walked into the street as a truck came driving by.
"You, jump off that building!" Celosa Rosa exclaimed to another slave. "You, use that crowbar and beat him up."
"What is she doing!?" Ladybug exclaimed as she saw the slaves following Celosa Rosa's dangerous orders.
"We have to stop them from getting hurt!" Danny exclaimed as they rushed towards the slaves.
Danny flew towards the one who climbed up the building and jumped off, catching her just before she hit the ground. Ladybug rushed towards the one who was holding a crowbar to beat up another man, using her yo-yo to knock the crowbar off his hand before he could swing the crowbar. Danny then flew towards the one who walked into the street and pushed him off before the truck could hit him.
Celosa Rosa aimed her doll and fired at the truck driver, making him into her slave.
"Run these people down!" she ordered as the truck driver did a U-turn that hit the other cars before he drove full speed to the crowd of slaves.
"No!" Danny exclaimed as he saw the truck basically flying towards the group as he quickly went after it. Ladybug, seeing that Danny can't make it, quickly threw her yo-yo to the air.
"Lucky charm!" Ladybug went.
"Huh?" Danny asks as he watches what she did.
Her yo-yo glowed brightly as it released a cloud of hearts before a red and black dotted lasso appeared. She grabbed the rope before she looked around the place, everything becoming black and white to her. She saw the driver blinking red and black spotted before she saw Danny also blinking red and black spotted.
"Danny Phantom, I need you to get in the driver's seat!" She exclaimed as she ran forward.
Confused, Danny watched as Ladybug used her yo-yo to swing herself towards the street lamps, and once she was perched on it, aimed the lasso as she waited for the truck. When it was closed enough, she threw it and managed to snag the driver off the seat, just as Danny flew in and grabbed the wheel. Using his powers, he turned the truck intangible, just in time as the truck harmlessly drove through the crowd before Danny stepped on the brakes, stopping it.
Ladybug, who jumped off the street lamps with the driver hanging on it, sighed in relief, happy to avoid a big disaster.
Her relief was short-lived upon hearing a beep.
"Oh no!" She cried as she could feel herself powering down.
She tried to run, but found herself surrounded.
"Now, let's see how ugly you are, Mariquita." Celosa Rosa said with a smirk.
Ladybug looked for a way to get out, but saw that there was no escape and could feel herself almost powering down. Suddenly, she was lifted by an invisible force and she found herself in the air. She grabbed on to something solid before Danny appeared, her arms wrapped around his neck.
"Hold on tight!" He exclaimed as he quickly flew away.
Ladybug, who has never flown before, just held tighter. Danny ignored how it felt, evident by the fact his cheeks turned as red as her suit, as he sped up.
Celosa Rosa, who saw this, fumed with anger.
"That stealing bug!" She shouted.
"She's powering down! She must be around here somewhere! Find her!" Hawkmoth ordered.
Celosa Rosa held her doll up.
"Find my Ghost Boy and that girl who's put him under some spell! Get her earrings! Rip them off if you have to!" She ordered.
Danny returned to the bathroom, where he set Ladybug down.
"I know it's the guy's room, but it'll do." He said as he went to the door to keep an eye out for trouble.
Ladybug sighed before she looked around. She was about to react to being in the men's room but she realized something.
"Where's Danny?" She asked under her breath before the earrings began beeping again. "Eep!"
"What happened?" Danny asks.
"Uh... Someone needs to call the police. I should go!" Ladybug said as she tried to escape.
"Whoa there!" Danny went, blocking her path. "You can't go out there all on your own. Celery Rose or whatever she calls herself has a whole army of hypnotized people under her control. Even if I get close, she'll try to make people risk their lives. We need a plan."
"Uh... right..." Ladybug said, the beeping from her earrings coming quicker.
"Why are your earrings beeping?" Danny asks.
"Uh... they're... special timers made in France!" She said with a nervous smile.
"You're in a hurry to get out because you got a dentist appointment or something?" Danny asks.
"Uh... maybe?" Ladybug said as the beeping quickened until she realized how close it was to her transformation ending.
"Look..." Danny said, shutting the door. "You'll have to reschedule. We got bigger problems."
"No! I-" Ladybug said as she realized that time is running out.
"Look, I don't know what exactly is going on here, but you clearly know the bad guy who did this to her better than I do. Seeing as you knew her doll had something to do with it, you must know who or what is responsible for it." Danny said, not seeing what was happening. "Now... I'm gonna need your help t-" He then saw for himself what happened.
Marinette stood before him, with Tikki at her side. With a nervous smile, she waved at him.
"Uh... hi." She went.
It took a moment before the half-ghost hero blinked again, causing Danny to realize that he wasn't just seeing things.
His blind date has just turned out to be his unexpected crime fighting ally.
"Marinette? You're Ladybug?" Danny asks.
"Y-Yeah. I mean... I guess y-" Marinette then noticed what he called her. "Wait... how do you know my name?"
Realizing that he just slipped up, Danny shrugged and rolled his eyes.
"Well, I know your secret, may as well show mine..." He said before morphing.
He was now in his human form as Marinette's jaw dropped.
"Danny?!" She asks, rubbing her eyes to make sure she wasn't seeing things.
Danny awkwardly held his arms out with a small smile.
"Ta da?" He went weakly.
"I knew it." Tikki said, flying between the two. "I knew something about this boy's presence was... off. At first, I thought he might have been under an akumatized victim's influence, but I was wrong."
"Yes, yes you are." Danny said with a smile. "Follow up... who or what are you?"
"Oh... umm... that should wait. For now... Marinette?" Tikki asks.
"Right." Marinette said, pulling out some cookies from her bag.
"Uh... you want to have a snack?" Danny asks as Marinette hands Tikki her cookies.
"It's so she can let me change back into Ladybug. Long story. Also, how are you Danny Phantom?" She asks.
"Uh... long story. Okay... clearly there's some stuff we left out... but that has to wait. We need to undo whatever happened to Paulina." Danny said.
"I think she's been akumatized." Marinette said.
"Aku... wha?"
"Again, long story. Short version, that doll is the source of her power. We need to get it out of her hand and destroy it. Once that happens, I'll de-evilize the akuma and return everyone to normal." She explained.
"I'm going to pretend I understood half of that. All I really got was to tear her doll of me open. That I can do." Danny said.
"Great..." Marinette said as Tikki finished her cookies. "All done?"
"Right. Let's go after that akumatized villain." Tikki said.
"Okay, Marinette and... uh..." Danny gestured to the kwami.
"Tikki." She said.
"Okay... Marinette? Tikki? Any ideas on getting that doll?" Danny asked.
Both of them nodded.
Celosa Rosa hovered over her hypnotized victims, looking for Danny Phantom and Ladybug.
"Every second wasted is a second Ladybug will get her power restored. If you want your power and your spectral lover, bring me her Miraculous!" Hawkmoth ordered.
"You're lucky we both need each other right now." Celosa Rosa went in a haughty manner.
"Paulina?" Danny was heard asking.
Turning around, Celosa Rosa smiled.
"Ghost Boy! You're here! For me!" She gushed.
"Yes… yes I am." He said with a stiff tone.
"Never mind him! Bring me the Miraculous if you want to keep your power so no one else takes him!" Hawkmoth shouted.
"I would love for us to finally begin our future together… but I promised the guy who gave me powers I'd take the nasty bug girl's earrings away." Celosa Rosa said.
"I have them… right here." Danny said, holding his fist out and opening them, revealing the earrings.
"For me? You do love me!" Celosa Rosa said.
She slowly reached for his fist, only for someone to interrupt them.
"You two are so mismatched!" Ladybug was heard shouting.
"Eh?" Celosa Rosa went, turning her head to see Ladybug standing away, wearing her miraculous earrings and waving to them. "What the heck?"
"She's still transformed! That means he doesn't have the Miraculous!" Hawkmoth shouted.
"Ghost Boy? You lied to me?" Celosa Rosa asks.
Danny closed his hand.
"You really thought I'd date you after what you did and what you're trying to do?!" Danny asks in an incredulous tone.
"... yes?" Celosa Rosa went with a shrug.
"Not a chance!" Danny said.
Feeling anger, Celosa Rosa snapped.
"You'll be cute enough as one of my puppets!" She shouted, firing her doll's beams at Danny, only to see him disappear, much to her shock and horror. "WHAT?!"
That's when a gloved hand knocked the doll out of her hands.
"I can duplicate." He answered quickly before looking at his partner. "Ladybug!"
"On it!" She said, using her yo-yo lasso to get the doll.
"No! My doll!" Celosa Rosa cried out before Danny poked her with a finger and froze her from the neck down, causing her to fall.
"And now she's dropped to a 7 below zero." Danny said to himself.
Celosa Rosa tried to break free, only to find she couldn't do so as super strength was not a power she was granted.
"Get me out of here!" She ordered.
"NO! YOU IDIOT! GET THE MIRACULOUS!" Hawkmoth ordered.
"And someone tear those stupid earrings off her!" Celosa Rosa ordered.
Her zombies all charged as one grouping managed to pick up speed.
In response, Ladybug did a somersault, avoiding all 20 of the people trying to attack and land gracefully.
Danny watched, impressed with acrobatics while giving a smitten smile in her direction.
Ladybug then tore the doll open, letting the cursed butterfly free.
"No more evil doing for you, little akuma." She said before she prepared for her signature move. "Time to de-evilize!"She exclaimed, as she pulled out her yoyo, spun it around, captured the akuma and proceeded to rid it of its evil effects. "Ha!"
"Cool…" Danny said, finding himself very drawn to her.
"Bye-bye, little butterfly." She waved to the now purified insect before looking at Danny. "The earrings my lucky charm created?" Danny flew in and handed them to her. "Thanks…" She then tossed them into the air. "Miraculous Ladybug!"
Soon, a swarm of ladybugs appeared all through the area. Within moments, the hypnotized people were restored to normal with no memory of what transpired, the ice disappeared, the doll was restored and Celosa Rosa was once again Paulina Sanchez.
"Huh? What?" She asks, unaware of what transpired.
Danny and Ladybug stood triumphant before the latter held her fist out.
"Pound it." She went, expecting him to get it.
Danny was momentarily confused before he cracked a smile and returned the gesture.
"Ghost… boy?" Paulina asks, seeing him standing before. This caused her to stand up straight. "You're here!" She said before seeing Ladybug with him. "And… you're on a date…" She went dejectedly, slouching.
"Well…" Danny said, looking at Ladybug. The smile on her face let him know just what to say. "Yes… we are."
"Oh! It's not fair!" She whined before running away.
Danny rolled his eyes as Ladybug smiled in amusement.
"It's like a Latina version of Chloe…" She said under her breath.
In his Hotel Suite
Hawkmoth gritted his teeth as he slammed his cane into the floor.
"HMPH! Americans… their teenagers are just as useless as the Parisian kind!" He growled before his phone went off. Clearing his throat upon seeing who it was, he answered. "Adrien?"
"Father? I *cough*...I wanna know when you come home… seeing as my friends aren't even here to visit me..." Adrien said over the phone.
"I should finish by tomorrow night and be home after. In the meantime, listen to Natalie, eat the chicken soup she made for you and get plenty of rest." He instructed.
"Okay, Father…" Adrien said before sneezing and hanging up.
Taking a deep breath, Hawkmoth walked away from the window, returning to being Gabriel Agreste.
"Be thankful I have other priorities, Ladybug. Next time, your little Phantom friend won't be there to save you when I learn your identity, destroy you and claim your Miraculous!" He said in anger.
One hour later
Danny had taken Marinette to a local ice cream shop. Once they got their orders, and Tikki had her own treat, the two sat atop a building and enjoyed their treats as they learned of each other's lives.
"So.. what's it like? Suddenly going from your normal clothes to… something that hugged your body a little too much?" Danny asks, turning slightly red from recalling how she looked.
"Sort of… done instantly that I don't even think about it anymore." Marinette explained before smiling at him. "You and Cat Noir sure seemed to like it though. Then again, most boys look up to me… granted, not for the reason I'd hope for." She admitted.
"Heh… didn't mean to stare." He said with a nervous smile before recalling something. "Y'know… when you were Ladybug… you seemed… different."
"How so?" She asks.
"Well, don't get the wrong idea. I like how you are, you're nice, funny, you clearly have a good head on your shoulders… not to mention fun to talk to. As Ladybug, you were… brave, snarky… and… uh…"
"Hot?" Marinette asks with a cheeky smile and one eyebrow raised.
"Cool! I was gonna say cool!" Danny said.
"Sure you were…" Marinette said sarcastically before her eyes darted upward. "I guess… when I'm Ladybug… I feel… more like me than me. If that makes any sense."
"I get it. It's kinda like me as Danny Phantom. Still… I can understand not recognizing me, since my eyes and hair change colors and my skin gets tanned. But, how did I not recognize you? Seeing as the domino mask and, sorry to keep bringing this up like a more hormonal teenager than usual, the skin tight suit didn't hide your eyes or hair. You didn't even change your voice."
"Huh… I guess… because… people see dorky, clumsy Marinette… they don't picture the brave and reliable Ladybug being anything like her." She answered as best as she could.
"That's dumb… because I think Marinette is just as great as Ladybug." Danny said. "With or without the suit…"
Marinette blushed at that.
"Thanks…" She said before recalling the time. "Well… I need to get to my train soon."
"Train?" Danny asks.
"Technically, my class and I are staying in a town about an hour away and we're meeting up at the train station. I should get going." She said.
"Let me fly you there." Danny said.
"Don't worry. I'll be fine." She said.
"Heh. No offense, but you swing on that yo-yo like you were Spider-Man… I fly fast enough to keep up with a space shuttle." Danny said.
"Oh… is that so?" Marinette asks with a playful tone.
"Quite so." Danny said, having a competitive side to him.
Tikki, finishing her treat, noticed what the two were implying and decided to step in.
"Then… why not prove which of you can make it to the train station the fastest?" She asks.
Realizing the challenge, the two gave competitive smiles.
"How about this? Whoever wins… gets a kiss on the cheek from the loser?" Danny asks jokingly.
"You're on!" Marinette said, only to realize he was joking. "Uh… wait…"
"Too late." Danny said with a smile. "Of course, the winner can say no to it."
Marinette blushed slightly before nodding.
"Let's do it!"
Both of them got up.
"I'm goin' ghost!/Tikki, spots on!"
Both readied themselves.
"On your mark..." Danny Phantom went.
"Get set..." Ladybug went.
"GO!"
Danny started flying as Ladybug used her yo-yo to swing beside him, the two smirking at each other playfully.
"You know, if you try to get in front of me, you're giving me a great view, Ladybug." Danny teased her.
"If you wanted to look, you could have asked, I might let you peek, might." She teased back, hiding her blush with bravado, though she didn't see Danny's blush.
Danny decided to show off a little by flying between the buildings, his body flowing unnaturally, like a streaming river. Ladybug couldn't help but see how amazing it was, like a painting coming to life.
"Impressed?!" Danny asks.
"Not bad, but check this out!" Ladybug said before she slingshot herself with her yo-yo.
She then jumped from building to building before she let herself fall down before she grabbed onto the street lights and started swinging on them, even using her legs, and finished with a twirl before catching herself on another street light, winking at Danny before using her yo-yo once again to swing.
Seeing how she swung, one leg sticking out as she smiled at him, Danny let himself get lost in admiration.
Look at her... she's so... cool... and gorgeous. When she's like this... it's like she's letting herself be free. I hope she and this Adrien do work things out... but I can't help but wish that it was me she wanted t-
He then found himself hitting the side of a wall.
"Don't get too distracted!" Ladybug said playfully.
Danny pushed himself off the wall, letting himself take a moment to admire her athleticism.
"Hard not to, no wonder people love you in France, Spots." he said, rubbing his face.
"You're not too bad yourself, Spooky." Ladybug said. "If America doesn't work out, how about you move to France? But first…"
She suddenly threw her yo-yo and pulled herself back in the air, giggling as she swung through the building, not seeing the smirk on Danny's face.
"This has to be the most fun date I've had so far..." He admitted to himself.
Ladybug then landed on a building not far from the train station.
"There it is. Now... to get there and-"
'And where have you been?" Danny asks as he appears out of nowhere in front of her, acting like a scolding parent while holding a can of soda.
"Huh?" Ladybug went.
"My town, ghost powers... do the math there, Spots. I even stopped so I could pay for this." Danny said confidently before finishing his drink and dropping the can, allowing him to stand with arms crossed.
"Well... that doesn't mean you actually made it to the train station yet!" Ladybug went before somersaulting over him.
Danny quickly phased through the rooftop and appeared in front of Ladybug, wagging her finger at her. She just smirked before she tried to outmaneuver him, but he was fast, especially when he was floating in the air.
Giving him a smirk, she suddenly threw a kick towards him, which he dodged by moving backward. Not stopping, she started throwing kicks at him, not really putting any strength in it, though they were fast. Danny just smirked as he dodged and blocked her kicks. He then grabbed a kick and spun her around, before she flipped over, causing him to let go. She then used her yo-yo and started swinging it at him, which he dodged by moving side to side. She did manage to nick his cheek when she used her right foot to kick the yo-yo at him, surprising him.
"I know you probably heard this often, but you got nice legs, Spots." Danny said as he whistled in admiration. "Very nice."
"Flattery won't get you far, Spooky... especially to the train station." Ladybug said with a smile.
"I already did." Danny said as he pointed behind her.
Ladybug turned around, seeing another Danny hovering behind her.
"Huh?!" She went, now standing up as she stopped swinging her yo-yo.
"So glad we got this power down..." The other Danny said as he showed Ladybug his phone.
It showed a photo of him doing a selfie with people in the background.
"Looks like I win." The original Danny said as the copy handed him his phone before disappearing.
"Wait... that's cheating!" She went.
"No, it isn't. The idea was who got there first. My copy... he got there first. And he was made from me. So... technically, I got there first." Danny said plainly with a smile.
"You really want that kiss, don't you?" Ladybug asks playfully.
"Maybe...?" Danny responded with a shrug and a smile.
Ladybug tried to act serious, only to give in and laugh it off.
"Fine. I'll do it... the least I can do after the nice things you said to me." She said.
"I was just stating the truth." Danny said.
"Guess you win." Ladybug said as she walked towards him.
Danny smiled, not seeing the discarded soda on the floor that his foot was about to land on.
"I sure did... I gu-"
Once that foot slipped, Danny's face ended up touching Ladybug's on the lips.
The two were caught off guard, eyes wide open as they realized they were kissing.
Time seemed to freeze as Danny's arms were wide out, unsure what to do at first before taking Ladybug by the shoulders. Ladybug, in turn, placed her hands on his chest as if to push him off.
However, after a second, they closed their eyes and slowly embraced what was happening before lightly pulling away from each other.
The two slowly smiled at each before, realizing what happened, Danny pulled away and cleared his throat loudly.
"That... uh... was an accident. I swear! I didn't want to kiss you like that! N-Not that I hated it! I mean... I liked it! I like you! Uh... maybe not like that... unless you want me to!" Danny said with a panicked look on his face.
Ladybug giggled lightly, finding his reaction oddly adorable.
"I guess you're clumsier than me." She said.
That's when, to his surprise, she hugged him. Danny was still red from the kiss for a moment longer before giving in and hugging her.
"I'm… gonna miss this, Spots." Danny said.
"Me too, surprisingly. Also, Spots?" Ladybug asks in a faux-insulted tone.
"Uh… well… I meant in a playful sense, not like you're a dog." He said.
"Heh… it's cool, I called you Spooky, after all." She said.
They continued the hug, unaware that someone spotted them, namely a small insect made of metal.
Deadpool looked thrilled now.
"HA! I told you that it would be a kiss on the lips!" He laughed as he turned to FP11.
"It was an accidental kiss..." FP11 pointed out.
"No one specified anything. It's still lip to lip contact, so there..." DP said.
FP11 sighed.
"Yeah, I guess you won the bet..." She said.
"I'll take my winnings in the form of chimichangas, if at all possible..." DP said, grinning widely.
"Of course you will..." FP11 said with a slight smile.
Danny walked Marinette towards the train station.
"This is as far as I can go without a ticket." Danny said.
"Yeah. Well… thanks for the day." Marinette said.
"Anytime. And thank you for what happened with Celosa Rosa." Danny said before realizing what he said. "Well, at least I finally got her name right."
"You sure did." Marinette said.
"If you ever find yourself back here, even if we don't pick each other, you know where to find me… wherever someone is screaming and running for their lives from a ghost." Danny said.
"And if, for some reason, you're in Paris, you know about my parents' bakery." Marinette said.
"Yeah…" Danny said.
Marinette smiled at him. She still had feelings for Adrien, but she can't deny that she liked Danny more than she thought she would. She felt herself drawn to him, not as intensely as she was to Adrien but she noticed.
That's when, to Danny's surprise, she kissed his cheek. He was speechless from it.
"Well… you did win our race." She said.
"But… the kiss from before…?" He asks.
"That was from Ladybug… not from Marinette." She said.
Danny smiled at her, face turning red again.
Then, she hugged him, surprising him again before he gave in and hugged her back.
"Take care… and good luck with Adrien." Danny said.
"I know… despite it all, he still has a place in my heart…" Marinette said.
"I see…" Danny said, a little jealous but understanding.
That's when Marinette looked up and smiled at him.
"But you're finding a spot in there too." She said with much sincerity in her voice.
Though surprised to hear that, Danny smiled warmly.
It was seconds before someone reminded them of their surroundings.
"Hey! The train!" Tikki said from the bag.
"Oh… right." Marinette said, pulling away.
"Right. Bon voyage, Marinette and Tikki, don't stop being… miraculous." Danny said with a wink.
"It's pronounced voy-odge in French… but thank you for that. And thank you for the cookies you bought." Tikki said with a smile before hiding back in the bag.
"Okay…" Marinette said as she started walking away. "Bye Danny!" Marinette said to him.
"Bye." Danny said, waving to her.
"By-" Marinette tripped over one person's luggage before getting back on her feet and laughed sheepishly before awkwardly waving to Danny again. "Bye!" She said, resuming her walk.
Danny laughed a little.
"Awesome and brave mixed with cute and clumsy… if that Adrien guy can't see she's the full package of a great girl, then it's his loss..." Danny said to himself.
Marinette soon found her friends were waiting for the train as she waved to them.
"Alya!" She called out.
Alya saw her and smiled.
"Marinette… good of you to make it." She said.
Before Marinette could speak up, a very loud groan caught her attention.
They saw Chloe pacing back and forth, frustrated with her experience.
"What happened?" Marinette asks.
"Chloe apparently had an awful day. So awful that I so wish I saw it for myself. So, how was your day?" Alya asks.
Marinette looked back to where she last saw Danny and smiled.
"I had… a miraculous date." She said.
As she and Alya walked towards where the train would meet them, she looked to her phone. A picture of her and Danny they had right after lunch, smiling together.
He's really something... Marinette thought.
It brought a smile to her face, knowing that she had a nice time and that she at least had one friend or potential boyfriend on the other side of the Atlantic.

And so, one VERY popular request has been fulfilled. I wanted to use Marinette but wasn't 100% sure when... but seeing how many people ask for her convinced me to use her soon. Plus, as said, she made a good character to use in place of Sabrina.
So, next chapter is when I do something the original story did not do. You'll have to come and find out.
Side note: I am thinking about doing bits of the future like in the original. Do you guys want me to feature just the 20 new girls or all 30?
