I Got Reincarnated by Kaichou: Chapter 4, The ORC
"W..what happened?" the blonde asked as she woke up a few hours after the end of her human life, sore but all patched up after some healing from Tsubaki.
"You died, that priest's weapon makes it hard for devils to heal wounds… I'm sorry but we had to turn you into a devil to save your life." Sona spoke while looking down at the girl.
"What's your name?" Sona asked, already knowing her name, but wanting to hear it directly from her
"Asia, Asia Argento." she replied in a soft voice. Trying to get up but crying out at the pain. Laying down again on the soft sofa that they moved her to.
"We closed the wound. But it'd be best if you took it easy. They hurt like hell" Tomoe spoke as her arm was in a sling with her bandaged chest.
"I see. But why would they do such things?" she asked. Not knowing of the evil deeds of freed and the fallen angels.
"Asia, I don't know how to sugar coat this. But Freed Sellzen was killing people, anyone he suspected of being tangentially involved with devils… We had to stop him before it came too big for normal people to notice"
"I see, so what happens now that I'm a devil? Will I still be able to pray?" with her question she attempted to do so. Whining out and grabbing her head in pain.
"Sorry. But no, anything like that would cause pain to us devils." she replied simply. Everyone else except her, Issei and the nun leaving the room.
"I see, but thank you for saving me though. I'm grateful even if it did turn out like this… Erm.. I didn't catch your name, mister."
"Iseei, Issei Hyoudou…" He spoke, answering his question. Sitting on the floor by the couch so they were eye level.
"Thank you Issei, my Saviour" with her words she smiled warmly at the boy. Small tears rolling down her face.
~~The next day, Student Council Office
"Since you're now part of my group Asia, I think it'd be appropriate for you to attend this school with us. Hyoudou would probably be thrilled to show you around." She spoke with the nun and the brunette sitting on the opposite side of her desk as they conversed.
"That sounds good, but I've never been to school. I was educated in a church." she replied not sure if she would be smart enough to stay in the school.
"Don't worry about that, Myself and Tsubaki will tutor you in whatever you need. As well as Issei there. He doesn't look like it but he's the highest scorer in modern literature." Sona spoke with a smile. Reassuring the nervous nun that she would be just fine.
"Mhm. But no need to flatter me Kaichou. Both you and Shinra senpai are much smarter than me." he brushed the back of his head nervously. Rarely hearing such praise for his academics.
"Well that seems to be sorted. Asia, could you go with Tsubaki to get yourself a uniform, while I talk with Hyoudou here." Sona spoke gesturing towards her queen who was waiting by the door.
"Yes Sona, Thank you so much for everything." She spoke politely before standing. Walking over to the taller girl, leaving Sona and Issei all alone in the room.
"Before you can say anything. I'm sorry for barging in when you told me to stay with Ruruko. My body acted on its own" he spoke preemptively trying to spare himself from another lengthy lecture on his conduct.
"Not at all. I'm not angry, You did well Issei. You gave us the time we needed to retreat, as well as saved Asia. But i do need to have a serious talk about that gauntlet on your arm that showed up"
"What about it? It just showed up as I punched that douche canoe in the face" he replied, looking at his bare left hand. Where the gauntlet manifested itself.
"About that. That's a sacred gear. Similar to Asia's Healing abilities, But you possess the Boosted Gear. One of the most powerful sacred gears to be precise"
"So you're saying I have a super strong ability? What is it?" he asked curiously. Still inspecting his hand
"You can double your power every 10 seconds… its past wielders were known to be quite troublesome. So it seems to suit you." she said with a soft smile. Teasing the boy.
"Focus on your hand and try to think of the most powerful thing you can." She continued explaining how he could summon the gauntlet again.
Following her instructions only one thing came to mind. The Kamehameha, Copying the movements he did it without hesitation. The gauntlet showing itself after a few tries.
"Good work. Now try boosting. It should feel like a surge of energy and power in your body. From what i've heard" She spoke smiling at Issei. Seeing that he nabbed the boy before anyone else could get to him.
"Boost" "BOOST" the boy spoke. With the Gauntlet echoing his words. A rush of power entering his body.
"It seems everything is in order. It should make your training easier if you can boost… but first we have some other things to deal with. I have a meeting with the occult research club"
~~20 minutes later. The Old School Building.
Walking into the room behind Sona, followed side by side with Asia in a fresh uniform. He was caught off guard by the crimson beauty that sat on the sofa with a black ponytailed woman to her left and some blonde jackass to her right that he didn't recognise.
"Hello Rias, Akeno. Phenex" Sona greeted the Trio, the last name being rather cold.
"Sona." Rias replied with a soft smile. Seeing her best friend come to her rescue.
"Sorry Riser, we have to postpone our meeting. I have something to discuss with Sona over here.
"You're lucky it's the Sitri girl interrupting our conversation. But all for her to show off her new pawn and bishop. He doesn't look like he'd last 5 minutes in a rating game, neither does the girl for that matter. "
"Phenex. Are we going to have a problem? Remember my family can make your family's life very difficult" She spoke with a soft smile. Standing up for her new pawn.
"Boost" "BOOST" He spoke quietly out as he summoned the gauntlet at the thought of being called weak.
"Oooooh. So that's your new pawn. Still does not change the fact that he's a scrawny little shit compared to myself." He spoke cockily with a grin, the uncomfortable redhead that sat beside him surprised by the fact her friend snatched up the Red Dragon Emperor.
"Boost" "BOOST" he whispered out again. Giving himself another boost.
"Phenex. Drop it, or do you forget which family holds the rank of Prince." she warned him again. Not pleased with his arrogant tone"
"Or what. You're gonna go tell your mom that I made fun of your shitty little pawn. Remember you're the one here interrupting my meeting with my Fiance" he continued with a laugh. Not even realising the brunette was getting madder by the second.
Glancing behind her she saw his mood. Giving him a little grin of approval. Before allowing his promotion. The power flowing through his body.
"Asia. Do you still have a bottle of holy water? If praying did that to you. I Wonder?" he whispered to his teammate. As she slipped a small glass bottle out of her uniform, placing it into his gloved hand.
"Please use it properly Issei," she said softly with a smile. Guessing his intention
"Boost. Promotion Queen!" "BOOST" He yelled out in rage as his wings protruded from his back. Kicking off with a fair bit of speed. Blink and youd miss him as his fist connected with the shocked man's jaw.
The blonde douchebag going over the couch and crashing through several walls. Leaving holes that would make even the kool aid man proud.
Following closely behind issei fought through the pain of broken glass and holy water on his hand as he beat Riser's face as he writhed and screamed. Most of the water on his face and eyes.
"IT BURNS IT FUCKING BURNS!" He yelled out between punches while he tried to fight back..
"Ara ara. He doesn't mess about, does he?" Akeno spoke as she stood up. Approaching the fighting boys. Giving them both a good shock with her lightning magic.
"Master Phenex. It seems you need medical attention. I'll inform your bishop to come get you" she spoke as both of them were laid on the floor stunned from her magical shock
Not even 5 minutes later. A blonde girl with twintails showed up via a large orangey yellow magic circle. Looking a lot like Riser.
"I apologise profusely for my brother's words Lady Sitri, but was using Holy water to beat his face to a pulp really necessary?" She apologised with a deep boy to the higher ranking girl. Before asking the question
"I can answer that. He insulted both Asia here and Kaichou. I couldn't let that slide…. Asia got some damage when she tried to pray earlier. So I assumed Holy water would be akin to poison for us… I apologise if I was out of line doing what I did" He spoke. Bowing softly with his apology.
"Oh you're fine Issei. You did well sticking up for your team mates, and my best friend for that matter." Sona spoke with a soft undetectable smile as she praised her pawn.
"I like this one Lady Sitri, not the fact that he beat up my brother. But he is an honourable boy it seems. One day I may see if you'll trade him to me." Ravel spoke with a soft smile as well.
"Thank you…" Issei smiled a little nervously. Glad he wasn't in big trouble for his aggression.
"RESET" The gauntlet yelled out as it removed itself from his arm. The boy passed out without much warning seconds later.
~~a while later
"Mmmm w…what happened." the boy spoke out as he was laid on a sofa. Feeling like his arm had been crushed with the pain. Making him groan out
"Stay still Issei, we're still healing you. You took a real toll on your body." Sona spoke as she, Akeno and Asia surrounded him using healing magics on each of his injuries.
"Fine… but are you sure you aren't mad at me? I punched someone important right?" he asked
"He's the third son of the house of Phenex. He's not that important in the grand scheme of things, as well as not being well liked by quite a few of the higher ranked ladies. Although His sister is a nice girl. Even if she's stuck as his bishop."
"I see… also he said Fiance? Rias Gremory has a Fiance?" he continued with the questions trying to learn what was going on and what he got himself into.
"Indeed. But Rias doesn't like it at all. It was arranged by Lord Gremory" Akeno said this time.
"Well this is great…. Sona i will really need your help for this. Riser just challenged me to a rating game over this… he says if i really want out of this engagement so badly I'll need to fight him for it" Rias spoke with a long sigh as she stood behind her best friend. Laying a hand on her shoulder.
"Well that's great. I'm assuming it's in a week's time as tradition states" Sona asked, receiving a nod from the red head.
"I may have an idea, Issei will help you out with it."
A/N: people on discord have been saying i shouldn't skip the rating game. So the next chapter or two will be Issei getting beat, then kicking ass and chewing gum.
