Naruto: College Day's

Unfortunately the next day Hinata realized she may have made a mistake sitting next to Naruto. He brought them bothe a coffee, even got Hinata her cinnamon latte she liked -she assumed he asked Sakura what she liked to drink- however Hinata soon learn Naruto did not know personal space, she figured the night they met he acted that way because of the alcohol but even now in class he sat so close she could feel his body heat which made her shiver. His leg was bouncing under the table knocking into hers, she reached her left hand down and placed it on his knee. Her body was sure to be covered in a blush as he looked over at her with a sheepish smile but didn't move her hand. Whenever she noticed his attention, she would squeeze his knee lightly and bring him back to earth. Though she did notice his notes -though sloppy- were pretty well taken, she just hoped he could read his own hand writing because she certainly could hardly understand the chicken scratch. She noticed that he seemed to bite his lip as if to keep himself quiet, the filling it gave her in the pit of her stomach made her fidget.
Damn, she'd love to bite that lip.
The thought shocked her and she suddenly sat up straight, her hand clenching his knee causing him to look over at her his eyes concerned. She smiled and shook her head before going back to the notes.
"So since it is friday, I heard they are having a bonfire down by the lake tonight, would you like to go?" Naruto asked as they began walking out of class "I mean I think I heard Saksuke say Sakura and the girls were going to ask you too so it will be all of us going." he babbled as they walked out into the quad making Hinata giggle.
"Yes that sounds like fun, should we meet you all there?"
"No! No I mean I'll meet you at your dorm? Walk with you there, say around seven?"
Hinata nodded "That sounds good then, see you at seven."
Naruto smelled giving her a peck on the cheek before turning and running to his next class, thankfully Hinata only had the one today. Quickly she texts the girls about the bonfire tonight.
Ino: OHHHH Did he ask you out!?
Sakura: Sounds like a date to me ! ;)
TenTen: Don't tease her you two lol we will meet you at the dorm and help you get ready!
Hinata didn't think her face could get anymore red as she hurried back to the dorm, luckily the weather was still warm so she blamed her flushed cheeks on the warm weather and not the thought of her possibly going on a date with Naruto. She also thought about the fact that she was thankful her sister had read about the lake being near campus and made her bring a bathing suit. Thankfully she beat the others to the dorm taking a quick shower, being sure to shave, and reapplying deodorant before she put on her robe and looked through her drawers trying to find her suit. Soon the others trickled in, first TenTen then Sakura and Ino.
"Say Hinata question."
"Hmm?" Hinata hummed as TenTen braided the girls' darker hair into two braids.
"You don't mind if I were to go on a date with Neji right? I know some people are weird about friends dating family and all so I won't if you do not want me to."
"Of course not, I saw how he looked at you." Hinata smiled as TenTen blushed her eyes, focusing on the braid.
"Told you." Ino laughed as she walked in through the bathroom, she wore ripped jean shorts and a dark purple bikini top that left little to the imagination, Sakura came in behind her, a red bikini on as she pulled on a pink netted cover up.
TenTen had on a dark green one piece bathing suit with black shorts on, and they had convinced Hinata to just wear her lavender bathing suit with jean shorts over top and just the swim top. Sakura almost cried when she talked about how jealous she was about Hinata's breasts. The top showed off the cleavage and yet was still covered enough that Hinata agreed to leave the dorm without a shirt. The other girls finished getting ready. TenTen lent Hinata a pair of sandals before they left, not wanting to intrude when Naruto got there. Hinata locked up their dorm before she headed down to the front of the building, the sun was just beginning to go down, though the air was still muggy as she stepped out of the air conditioned building.
When she looked up from her phone after texting Naruto she would be outside, she almost dropped her phone when she saw him walking towards her, he wore a black and orange bathing suit with a black button up shirt which he left unbuttoned, showing of his well sculpted body as well as what looked like a tattoo in the shape of a spiral around his belly button. She couldn't take her eyes off of it and how low his swim suit seemed to hang on his hips.
"You have a tattoo." she stated as he walked closer to her making him chuckle
"Oh Yeah, got it for my eighteenth birthday." he shrugged
"What does it mean?"
"Jiraya said its a eight trigram seal from back when ninjas were around, used to have a weird obsession with the folklore and all." he laughed and shrugged "Something about this stood out to me, saw it on something my mother and father wrote once and then became obsessed"
"My father used to talk about ninjas. Apparently our family was a powerful clan, The Hyuga's, we even have a clan symbol."
"Really! Sasuke's family had a symbol he actually got tattooed on his arm, Jiraya probably knows your family, or their history he knows all kinds of weird facts." Naruto threw his arm over her shoulders as they began walking. "You look gorgeous by the way, I like the braids." he smiled down at her his fingers finding the end of her braid and twirling it as they walked.
The lake wasnt to far, though by the time they got there Hinata almost sprinted to the water with how hot she was, but she wasn't sure if she was hot from the weather or from Naruto's body pressed into hers.
"Hey Naruto!" a man's voice sounded as they began to walk to their friends, they turned to see a man with brown spiky hair walking to them, his smile was almost canine like, Hinata was also surprised to see a large dog with white fur following closely to him.
"Kiba! Hey man, what's up?"
"Well I have been put in charge of shot duty, tradition everyone takes a shot before entering the party."
Kiba held up a bucket with Ice and Hinata saw there were single bottle shots in the bucket. She frowned, not a huge shot person, as Naruto reached in the bucket pulling out two of the little Malibu rums.
"Who's your pretty friend?"
"Oh, that's right, Hinata this is Kiba, Kina this is Hinata." Naruto smiled holding the one shot out to her "These are the best ones in the bucket trust me, but I'll take yours for you if you don't want it."
"N-no, it's okay I'll try it." Hinata smiled as Naruto opened the shots and handed her one. They cheered and quickly downs them Naruto shouting after he took his, causing people to stare, Hinata frowned and shivered at the taste but decided it really wasn't too bad.
"I'll catch you guys later, more people." Kiba shouted at the others trying to walk past him and Naruto shook his head at him as they turned back to walk towards where they could see Sakura's pink hair through the crowd. Naruto's arm was over her shoulders again as they walked through the crowd, when they got to them Sakura winked at her from where she was perched on the picnic table, Sasuke sitting on the bench next to her his arm resting on her knee, Ino was flirting with a pale guy with dark hair she had never seen before, and TenTen she assumed was with Neji somewhere.
"Want something to eat and a beer?" Naruto almost whispered in her ear making her blush and turn to him his face was close to hers as she nodded. "Okay wait here I'll be right back." Taking his arm off her he removed his shirt tossing it on the table next to Sasuke before he turned headed to where she could see smoke from what she assumed was a grill.
"He likes you."
Hinata turned to Sasuke who was smirking at her "I dont know he's probably just being friendly."
"Trust me, I've known the idiot most of my life. This is the most energy he's put into being with someone since Sakura."
Sakura nodded her head in agreement. "He's even ignoring all the half naked women right now." She looked behind Hinata, making her turn to see that Naruto was in fact ignoring the group of girls who were trying to talk to him. He would smile politely and move away slightly as he finally found a cooler filled with beer bottles and then turned to the frill where he grabbed a plate putting two hotdogs on it and then with the beer tucked under his arms he walked back over to them, the ground of girls frowning as he walked past them again not reacting.
"You could talk to them if you wanted." Hinata said as he handed her a plate as they sat at the table.
"Huh? Who?" Naruto turned to where Hinata was looking frowning and shook his head "Nah. I have my eye on someone and they aren't really my type."
She nodded as they began to eat and talk with Sakura and Sasuke, soon there was music blasting from some speakers someone had brought and the party seemed to be in full swing. Hinata wasn't sure what had gotten into her but the more beer she drank, which currently was only two and a half the more bold she seemed to get.
"Want to dance?" she asked as she drank the last of the now warm beer, Naruto smiled widely before nodding, chugging the last of his beer as well then taking her hand pulling her through the crowd. Naruto twirled her under his arm and then out pulling her back so that her back was against his chest, he moved her arms so that they were up around his neck his fingers sliding down her sides and then holding her hips as they started swaying to the music. If Hinata was sober she knew she would have fainted with how he was holding her at the moment his breath brushing her ear as he moved their hips moving together with the music. She wasn't sure how long they danced, but soon she was sweating, and she could feel that Naruto was too as she turned to face him.
"You want to go for a swim?" he whispered his hands still holding her hips as she nodded and he started walking them through the crowd, they passed Kiba again and grabbed two more shots laughing as Kiba grumbled about how he shouldn't have to do the shot bucket.
"Hmm cant swim in these." Naruto pulled at the band of her shorts sliding his fingers beneath them before unbuttoning them and then pulling the zipper down. Hinata's breath hitched as his eyes never left hers as he peeled the jean shorts from the skin letting them drop. Her body was on fire as he stepped closer to her walking her backwards into the water, her shorts getting left on the shore as he walked them as far as they could go until Hinata was holding his shoulder and her legs around his waist since she could no longer reach. Her hands were in the hair at his neck.
"Ready?" Naruto smirked as he held onto her upper thighs making her frown in confusion.
"For what?"
His smirk widened and she couldn't help but compare him to a fox with how his whiskers looked and the mischievous look in his eyes. She barely had time to take a breath before she felt him move and they were under water for a quick second then came back up, she coughed and sputtered and Naruto laughed as he squeezed her thighs.
"You okay?" he whispered when she finally stopped coughing
"Yes, it just shocked me." their eyes locked and Naruto leaned closer to her before he groaned and moved his head so that it was pressed into her neck and shoulder. She frowned as he took and deep breath shaking his head and pulling away from her
"We should get you home." he mumbled as he tucked a loose strand of hair that fell from one of her braids behind her ear.
"O-okay, yeah." Hinata swallowed as Naruto walked them back to where they could reach, taking her hand and walking out of the water. Looking around Hinata frowned when she didn't see her shorts anywhere.
"Fuck." Naruto mumbled as he noticed they were missing. "Lets head back to the table, hopefully my shirt and our shoes are still there." Hinata nodded, praying that he was right.
When they reached the table they were happy to see that Naruto's black shirt was still there and their shoes were still tucked under the table where they left them to go dance.
"About damn time!" Naruto yelled at Sakura and Sasuke who were now making out at the table with Sakura in his lap. Sasuke gave Naruto the finger, he just laughed grabbing his shirt draping it over Hinata's shoulders. SLiding her arms though the sleeves she inhaled the smell of the shirt which was fresh also smelled of some kind of cologne which made her knees weak. Sliding her shoes on Naruto threw his arm over her shoulder after they got their phones from Sakura's bag which Hinata was not wishing she had put her shorts in there instead of leaving them on the shore of the lake.
"Thank you for lending me your shirt." she whispered as they started walking back.
"Of course, I'd never let you walk back in just your suit. Besides it is mostly my fault you lost your shorts, sorry about that. I've been told before I need to work on my boundaries on occasion." as he said that he began to move his arm off of her shoulder. She reached up, grabbing his hand and pulling it back.
"I don't mind."
Naruto smiled at her, the rest of the walk was silent and Hinata was wondering what had happened to suddenly shift Naruto's mood. As they approached the door to her room, Hinata turned to him as before she unlocked the door.
"Did I do something wrong?" she whispered looking down at her lavender painted toes.
"What? No! What made you think that?" he lifted her chin to look in her eyes as she shrugged.
"You just got very quiet on the lake, I thought I did something."
"No, no trust me Hinata, you were perfect. I just didn't want to over step, like I said I have an issue with boundaries." he smiled "Keep the shirt, looks good on you." he whispered as he pressed a kiss to her forehead before helping her open the door and stepping away with a small wave.
That night as she went to bed, the other girls seemed to not be coming home. That night she could help but feel as though she had in fact done something wrong despite Naruto saying she hadn't.
