Rintrah Pov:
"I didn't know what to say under the circumstances, whether it was about if I can prevent Apocalypsegeddon from consuming not just Hell but of the rest of the world. Or how I can protect the people I've grown to care for and the family I've built since my time here in the city, it's much for me to think about. Most importantly about how this demon is unlike anything I've encountered, especially how he was responsible in taking out the first sorcerer supreme. Meaning I can't have anyone come with me, the girls, Leonard, Grimes or even Nikki. Even if they've already shown me that they can handle themselves in a fight and not be afraid of anything, this is the one time they have to stay out of it. To make sure I'm not distracted by them in danger, along to not see them upset if I fall in the fight. If I do fall the only thing, I can do is offer my magic to Jennifer and Nikki to help with their jobs and the renaming for Nikki in the hopes that she could carry the mantle of sorcerer supreme. For the sake of the city and all its lives, I won't be beaten!"
Old Hell
Underneath New Hell and preparing to face what might possibly be the oldest demon lord in recorded history. Coming off one of the bus's that he used from Twayne's company credit cards he went off on his own so that the others didn't get caught in the fight. Rintrah along several others came along even against his own wishes due to the fear of losing them in this hellish encounter. He was being pulled by the ear by Callie who was upset about benching her and Jennifer from the fight as it was the two of them, Nikki as well Grimes and Leonard since they felt like the R'Vaalian would screw up.
"The next time you want to try and tell us to stay out of whatever end of the world bullshit again. I will not hesitate in castrating you in front of our adoptive daughter, because I damn well know Jen can give me a kid."
Callie threatening Rintrah about not being brought along since her father would be involved in this breach through her home and getting killed by Chthon. While the sorcerer tried to plead with her about not bringing her and the others in this fight, Grimes phone was vibrating as he checked it out which was Wrecker who wanted to be on screen.
"We already got your message! Half of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and even Jersey is acting like it's all out war. Whoever you're trying to find, kick his ass and end it before happy hour!"
His partner shouting to him as the others saw on the phone was him along the Wrecking Crew who were handling several demons that went mad and decided to attack several civilians. Quickly hanging up due to noticing Bulldozer smashing through a demon and killing it in an instant, they had to find the building where Aldermach had start his new business.
"It still doesn't make any sense for Aldermach to start any soul exchange business in Old Hell. There's not many modernized demons around to know about work happening here and it's the one place that only original demons come to."
Jennifer expressing a concern about Aldermach but only to Callie since while he's the embodiment of evil and could not be trusted for any reasons, was still her father. It's been rough for the past several weeks for Aldermach in starting back up and trying to muster any money he might have lost during previous endeavors including the wedding and Jennifer's soul that could helped out with his work.
"Well it's humiliating for a powerful demon who was on top of the soul exchange business to lose everything. So what do you do when you're in a jam? Start back at the beginning. How do you think Merlin kept up with being the best? Went back to smoking the pipe and reading books."
Leonard responding to the hulk woman's statement about what old school demons would do whenever they lose in whatever plot they brew. Though right now it would backfire on him since this would be where Chthon would return and start Apocalypsegeddon with his arrival. Continuing to walk down the street they felt the warmth of the neighborhood slowly decreasing by the second with each step they took.
"While I'm glad we're open for conversation, I'd like to remind you all that it was a mistake for everyone to come with me here. Especially after the others need your help."
Rintrah informing the group that each of them could have gone to either departments or joining up with anyone that could protect everyone. Continuing to feel the cold get to them and slow down, Nikki was able to generate an orb of light from her hand that kept them warm along brighten up the street.
"Not going happen. Even if he tried to attack us, he's my adoptive grandfather. And I'm not going lose any family members."
The girl stating to Rintrah as she was serious about protecting her new family and not caring about who she'll fight in the process of protecting them. Seeing how each of them were unfazed about the danger they'd face together, Rintrah decided to stop everyone from continuing the walk as he began to mutter several words that seemed impossible to understand even to Callie and Leonard.
"We don't have time for a prayer bull. The city above is going shit and my daughter just texted me about vampires going crazy, if you're going act like a priest then I'll kill whatever's making this endanger my kid."
Grimes responding to the sudden stop as well how he couldn't move his feet from the ground. Much like the others as they saw the ground glowing bright as well connecting to each of them. The five looked to Rintrah who made several Tao Mandalas discs as he throws the discs at each of them which connected right onto their chests. Noticing the symbol's as it generated armor around them when they face Chthon.
"Protection spell. Studied it before coming here, it'll help ward off any projectile spells he'll use on us. But won't help against physical attacks."
Explaining about what he gave them since it was hopeless in talking them out of this fight and decided to give them any type of defense they'd in for the fight. Before any of thanks for the spell, an explosion went off several blocks away from them as they rushed over to see if Aldermach was hurt or if Chthon had finally made his way out of his dimension. Continuing to make there way to whatever was blown up, they arrived seeing Callie's father on the ground injured as well coughing up blood from whatever was hurting him and his new building blown up.
"Daddy!"
Callie crying out at the sight of Aldermach looking half dead since it was hard to hurt someone like himself. Taking a moment to pull him from the side and giving the demon space to recuperate from the injuries he was given, Aldermach saw his daughter looking scared as well half of her employees and adoptive grandchild.
"I knew my girl would come to see her old man start back up again. Didn't think you bring an attorney and your sorcerer of a boyfriend here."
Responding to the surprise visit as coughed badly with what attacked him. Rintrah and Leonard looked over at the building which was covered in fire as well ice at the same time. Seeing a shadowy figure with crimson eyes staring at them in a menacing manner, Rintrah moved to the head of the group and prepared to face Chthon. Not realizing what was coming out of the building, Aldermach noticed the R'Vaalian acting protective to what was coming from his destroyed business.
"Tell him to run, everyone needs to leave. Chthon has a body that can destroying everything, and the irony of it. He chose a human to do it."
Explaining about how Chthon had a suitable body that could allow him to walk amongst their dimension which caught them off guard as Rintrah was able to see Chthon in the flesh. More importantly that he was using Stephen Strange's body, which had been altered in a demonic nature in order for Chthon to fully embrace his new host. Staring at the humanoid bull as well the gathering that was looking over the fallen demon, Chthon smiled at the welcoming part for his return and looked directly at the R'Vaalian.
"I can smell the magic off you boy. It was much like the human you see before you, desiring to help others who are afraid of their own shadows. Not knowing a shadow can stare back at you."
Chthon telling him which left Rintrah and the others to feel a powerful presence of fear from him. Almost feeling like they were in a living nightmare which they couldn't wake up from or even get away. All they could do was stare back whatever was making them afraid, except for Rintrah who mustered any type of resistance against the demon entity.
"What's the matter? You see the predecessor of the title in front of you. And yet you don't wish to proclaim your name or anything to try and make you strong? Peculiar."
Questioning why the sorcerer wasn't saying a word as he noticed from the side his friends and loved ones not saying anything as well. The emotions they showed on their faces was that of anger and disgust for how Chthon was using the same man that sacrificed himself to save New York as well the residents living in the city. Even Rintrah was upset at the one person that Chthon would use was the previous sorcerer supreme that he's been trying to find all this time.
"Not peculiar, upset. That even after the years have progressed on this world as well it's people, you're the only one that desires the old ways to return. What you're seeing right now isn't fear, but anger of someone they once believed now used as a puppet. You have one warning, leave."
Rintrah responding to Chthon's notion of them being afraid of him as Rintrah quickly summoned Tao Mandalas in a battle stance while the others did the same in their own ways. Jennifer went full She Hulk with her getting big while Grimes pulled out a projectile weapon for the moment and Nikki having her hair go on fire. Callie by her father's side pulled out her human soul which change her form into being a true demon.
"Keep my dad out of this Leonard."
Telling as the old man could see on the succubus's face on her father being protected as she walked with the others preparing for the fight. Chthon only smirked at the resistance seeing how nothing had changed when it came to being denied by lower beings. Opening his arms up to them he smiled sinisterly as he welcomed them to do whatever they wanted in stopping him.
"If acting like a standing target means he wants to get started. Then that's fine by me!"
Grimes starting first as he began firing several shots at him in the chest and face to finish it as fast as possible. The shots went threw him instantly along that each shot Grimes took was fatal and would kill any individual. Yet Chthon wasn't anyone, more or less that the wounds he received quickly healed along made him smile at the human being bold to make the first move.
"Human weaponry. It appears that you're able to pierce through my skin, but this body is just a vessel like many others I've inhabited. But what's inside? Is hell itself!"
Expressing himself to the group as a walking inferno as his body quickly engulfed in purple fire as he sent a wave of the flame towards them. While the protection spell allowed them to withstand the hellish flame it wasn't enough to keep them grounded as they almost felt like being blown away by the immense force he was displaying. Keeping their ground and pushing forward, She Hulk did a thunderclap that forced the fire to be sent towards Chthon. Smirking at them not being burned by his flame, Chthon floated in the air as he decided to test their resolve in stopping him.
"Levitating? Seriously that cliche is so annoying it ain't even threatening!"
Callie announcing as she rushed towards Chthon and shooting infernal heat vision from her eyes as she aimed it directly at Chthon's eyes. Groaning at the fire and it wounding him, he quickly summoned from his cape three dragon like heads which looked directly at the succubus.
"The fuck?"
Questioning the moment as they breathed fire at her which sent Callie flying midair and hitting an old building to the side. Chthon looked at the others and sent his dragon heads at them, only for Rintrah to summon several enchanted blades to cut off their heads from his cape.
"You're using Strange's powers against us after expressing you're a dark god and whipping us out without even trying. Hypocritical isn't?"
She Hulk questioned him as she threw an abandon bus at him which sent him hurling downwards onto the street. Taking the chance, Nikki generated her own energy to melt the bus right over Chthon in the hopes of drowning him in metal. Though it didn't work as they saw several tendrils coming out of the ruins and Chthon rising from it as he flew directly at them. Standing in the middle the four did their best to attack him as each of them used different attacks to catch him off guard, Chthon only blocked the attacks with his tendrils along trying to go straight for the kill. Meanwhile, Callie got up from the surprise attack and looking ready to rip off his head.
"Callie!"
Shouting her name from the side was Leonard who was looking over Aldermach and treating his wounds as he needed her attention. Annoyed at being called on she flew over to see what the wizard wanted as it seemed it was her father that needed her.
"There's a way to stop this bastard. But the wizard and your boyfriend are going have to do it fast."
Informing Callie about there being a way to stop Chthon and send him back to his own dimension. Listening to her father the battled continued on as Grimes continued to shoot at Chthon while avoiding the tendrils, but not before getting his legs stabbed simultaneously and dragged towards him. Doing his best to ignore the pain while seeing the others continuing to fight Chthon's tendrils, the demon smiled seeing how he wanted to kill him in front of his friends.
"Don't even think about sucking my soul you wannabe vampire!"
Shouting at him before Grimes pulled out a taser from his pocket and hitting him in the face sending several volts of electricity directly to his brain. Tossing the human to the side and trying to regain his sight, he was blind again by Nikki's light as he forced the demon to move back as he used his own shadow to fight. Watching the shade coming towards Nikki and turning its hands into claws, Rintrah encased it into a bubble and lifted it in midair before crushing it.
"Thanks dad."
Complimenting him and calling dad which left Rintrah surprised as she fired an energy blast at Chthon to only be blocked another shadow he was able to create. Summoning more shadows to help him guard while getting his sight back, She Hulk was mowing them down and trying to get right at him personally as she was able to pick him up in the air to try and rip him apart. Only for Chthon to sprout spikes from his back piercing through her hands.
"None may lay their hands upon me."
Responding to the gamma woman's touch as he spun out of her hands and kicked her to the side which left Rintrah upset at him harming his girlfriend. Looking over to Nikki in a serious look gesturing her to check up on Jen and Grimes, he gave his full attention to Chthon as his eyes glowed brightly at this assault to his loved ones.
"That, wasn't uncalled for."
Rintrah stating to Chthon as he had both hands glowed at him leaving the demon elder to do the same as both magic users showed their auras. Everyone was able to see them with each of them representing their alignment, Chthon's represented darkness and terror while Rintrah represented peace and virtue. Mimicking their hand movements along doing a pose, everyone kept their distance at the two about to use the same spell.
"Bolts of Balthakk!"
Saying in unison as they fired several bolts of energy at each other as the two were evenly matched. Rintrah focused on using his emotions to give his magic the push while Chthon was finding it troublesome on breaking the R'Vaalian's focus. Continuing the mystical standoff, Rintrah saw through the attack was Leonard who was behind Chthon as well preparing to use a spell as he tried for the first time to be serious with him using his wand.
"Spiritus, Finalious, Sacrificus, Exodious!"
Casting a spell from the back of Chthon as it surprised him on how he didn't notice him from behind. While also losing control of his bolts and getting attacked by Rintrah, being affected by both magic users as he could feel it consuming him. Yelling at the attack and withstanding it to the best of his ability, Chthon pushed back the two as well everyone else letting out a war cry which shattered most of the buildings windows around them and making the ground crack at the momentum. Agitated at the surprise attack as well staring at the old man who attack him from behind.
"I do not know what you said human, but I can sense the magic you used took much of your life force. Allow me to take the rest."
Proclaiming on how the magic Leonard used on him took much of his lifespan and would oblige in taking what was left of it. Rintrah and the others were going to stop but noticed that Chthon couldn't move his hand, especially how he noticed it turning against him as he began to strangle himself.
"What's happening?"
Questioning the moment as it seemed that his body was turning against him at the moment of finishing off Leonard. Watching the display of resistance everyone saw how Chthon continued to attack himself as well ripping off his own horns. As well noticing a ring of fire being made by Callie who changed back into her human form as she was keeping him from escaping.
"An old demon exorcist spell. It's forbidden spell for when a demon takes over a human body, it causes them to tear each other apart. It also has a counter effect, whoever performs it takes several years off their lifespan."
Explaining to Rintrah about what was the consequences of the spell as Rintrah was scared for his former mentor about what he had done. Meanwhile in the fire circle that kept Chthon trapped, his face was slowly reverting back to Stephen Strange as he fought back against the demon's influence. Seeing the R'Vaalian as well sensing his magic that was similar to his saw Rintrah as the new sorcerer supreme, meaning he could send them back to his dimension.
"I can't hold him for long. Repeat these words and send us back!"
Stephen shouting as he tried to hold off the demon until he could open a portal that could send him back to Chthon's dimension. Rintrah was scared at seeing him containing Chthon and trying to help out even to the point of losing control, however the R'Vaalian nodded and obliged the previous sorcerer as Strange was able to use one spell to help synchronize what he says to help with the portal opening.
"Midnight comes at bitter end, only daylight comes to make amends. From the title passed down from man to beast, send us back to rest in peace!"
Speaking in unison as the two sorcerers were able to open a portal back to Chthon's home dimension as it appeared right underneath his feet. The portal began to drag Chthon straight in as he looked at Rintrah as he sent a tendril to grab him by the hoof. Forcing him to drop to the floor he began pulling him into the portal.
"If I must suffer the endless darkness, then so will your sorcerer supreme!"
Chthon shouting as he tried to drag Rintrah with him back to his dimension only for Strange to struggle in letting Rintrah go as they fell into the portal. Seeing the bull following as well, Callie and Jennifer rushed over to hold his hands as they saw how Rintrah was dangling in the other dimension with Chthon still holding his hoof by a tendril. Nikki as well the wounded officer Grimes went over to help him out as they continued to not let Rintrah go as well seeing the struggle between Stephen and Chthon. Seeing them risk their lives for him and continuing to fend of Chthon's influence, he used a bit of his magic on his cloak to remove any demonic essence upon it.
"Take care of him for me."
Telling the cloak as it flew right off him and grabbed Rintrah forcing Chthon to lose his grip and fall back into the dark dimension as well the portal sealing up behind them. Huffing at the sight of sending Chthon back to his own dimension, Rintrah noticed the cloak that Stephen sent to him was now on him. Though he looked over to the side seeing Leonard who wasn't standing up as Grimes was checking up on him. Standing up and rushing over to see the wizard, only to see how the magic he used affected him physically as he grew more wrinkles and his beard grew even longer.
"Shit. I look like my brother, still. It was worth using my magic to send him back to his crap hole of a home, no offense."
Chuckling softly at what he did and apologizing to Rintrah since it was still upsetting seeing his predecessor as a demon's vessel. Though now with him and Rintrah restoring Strange's conscious it might be possible to keep him from returning back to New York. Taking a moment to catch their breath from the fight, Jennifer calmed herself and reverted back to her normal green self as she noticed Moon Knight calling her.
"Jen. Things have started to settle down, everyone right now has several injuries and might need help with some heavy lifting. What happened down there?"
Briefing her on how when Chthon was sealed back up into the portal the effect of his influence had diminished. Looking around at her new family as well them checking out there injured ones, Jen could tell the cleanup would take several days in order for things to get back to normal.
"Things were handled. Going need treatment for a demon and two human males, all in all. Not to bad."
Responding to Moon Knight before hanging up as she looked at how her pierced hands were slowly healing but showed she'd need a break after this. Meanwhile for Rintrah was looking at the cloak that came in at the last second to send him out of the portal. Recognizing it as the cloak of levitation, seeing how it was gift from Strange before being taken into Chthon's realm and would be better used for the new sorcerer supreme.
"What do we do now?"
Nikki asking concern about after facing one of hell's mythical figures and saved New York again from another supernatural feat. Rintrah couldn't give her a proper answer since he was still in disbelief on fighting Stephen. He saw everyone looking at him seeing if he had anything to say in the matter, the only thing Rintrah could do was look at the destroyed building that Aldermach planned on starting his soul trading business again.
"We try what Callie's did, rebuild what we lost. And see what comes next."
Expressing the same positive attitude that he shows everyone leaving most of his friends to sigh at his personality. While for Nikki to chuckle at even when the situation going, he still has a way to make things look good. Though for right now the best thing to do is start helping out with the injured, along with seeing if the DOI would need to help with any victims in losing their jobs in the panic of Apocalypsegeddon.
Several Years Later-Department of Justice and Intergration
Time had passed after Apocalypsegeddon had plagued the city and things had changed drastically. Both of the government departments that helped look over the city decided to combine both workplaces in the hopes of looking after the city more efficiently. An office was made to house the two groups which involved many offices and training sessions for both officers and employees if there was an incident going on. Coming into the front doors was a red male creature with a worm tail that slithered into the department as he was holding several papers of being hired at the office.
"Pardon me but does anyone know where I can find master Rintrah?"
He spoke to the passing employee's and officers coming past his way as everyone seemed to busy to answer his questions. The creature tried to ask more questions to see if anyone would respond to him, only to bump into an individual who he didn't see coming. Getting a better look it was Randall who was working as a janitor and noticed the worm like male bumping into him.
"Let me guess. New guy? Sheesh when Rintrah told me about finding an apprentice didn't forget to mention about not wearing pants. Low balling aren't ya?"
Joking with possibly the apprentice that his friend had brought in due to his time as being sorcerer supreme of New York. Deciding to lead him down the hallway, the apprentice saw across the walls numerous photos of Rintrah as well his friends bringing the departments together and handling numerous cases over the past years.
"My people are the Lem, while it's peculiar for you to not understand our worm like torso's allow us to avoid getting captured by my world's predators. Most of them can eat an entire village in one bite."
Explaining his species background and why he didn't have legs like everyone else as the zombie merely nudged his head about what the new guy said as they continued to walk down the hallways.
"Well like it or not we got things in New York that'll do the same but if you talk about the last winnings at the power ball. Nope, in this city we got all kinds of crap happening. Fortunately, none of it has gotten me killed yet, that was until Rintrah hooked me up with this job since it has the best protection from everything."
Randall bringing up about the dangers of the city as well that he was fortunate to get a job here after several attempts to either get fast cash or get himself popular in the streets. Though that went away soon after Rintrah and Jennifer busted him out of a plant business that rejuvenated the elderly and anything else that wanted to younger. Continuing the tour, they happen to see another member of the faculty which was Grimes who apparently was still working as the departments law enforcement officer while sporting white hair and two scars under his eyes.
"Don't tell me, another wannabe sorcerer? I told that boy scout if you're going hire someone then get one of my old crew members, they know how to make people shit their pants with just a look!"
Announcing to the two as well getting both frightened at how angry he's gotten over the years. By his side was a young adult vampire with black hair as well having his daughter's eyes and Morbius's skin complexion, he walked over to attend the old man seeing how he needed to breath from the anger he was expressing.
"Apologies. My grandfather still thinks violence and taser are how things are handled, my mom told me to keep him out of trouble. As well help when I can, nice meeting you new guy. Randall."
The vampire boy telling him as he walked Grimes to the side while being followed by the Wrecking crew who were now wearing standard issued uniforms. Heading to Rintrah's office, the new sorcerer was nervous at meeting the R'Vaalian that helped look after New York and battled countless individuals that sought out terrorizing the innocent while also working as an integration employee helping out people adjust to the area.
"Don't get scared. He hates that when meeting to new people, he deals with raising a teenage daughter that can bright up Times Square and has two wives that could make all of Brooklyn say uncle. So don't go in there being afraid."
Randall warning him on meeting his mentor which made the worm male frightened that what he was saying was true. Rintrah's family was both unpredictable along were nothing to joke around about, mostly that each of them was important figures. Jennifer Walters now considered the strongest woman in the city and also in charge of bringing in new attorneys along sending them to cases which needed their assistance. Callie was involved in demon affairs and in charge of integration issues which involved aggressive civilians that wanted to start a life in the city. Their daughter Nikki Gold also got a reputation of helping the community with black outs as well welcoming alien visitors due to her being the first one to arrive in the city. Taking a moment to adjust himself and watch Randall open the door slowly to introduce him as the zombie showed him the office room where Rintrah was at his own desk waiting to greet him along noticing Randall who was smirking at scaring his new apprentice.
"You were trying to scare him weren't you."
Questioning the zombie's intentions as Randall chuckled at his friend understanding what he was doing to the newcomer as he left the office leaving Rintrah to handle him. Greeting him into the office room, the R'Vaalian could tell from the anxiety that Randall might have built up about him make it impossible for him to handle the interview.
"Don't mind Randall. He's been messing around with the employees and new citizens to the city. Mr. Krugarr, correct?"
Asking about his name and referring to the zombie's antics which Krugarr nodded about his name and the information on his background. Studying several defense techniques and instant teleportation to help his people avoid being eaten, Krugarr relied on defensive spells than confrontational.
"Yes sir. It's an honor to meet you after the stories being said about you and the others at the DOJI. While some sound rather absurd, the rest was incredible and inspiring. Especially learning from your former mentor Leonard Powers."
Bringing up how most of the exploits about him handling cases at the department as well learning from the wizard who has lived for thousands of years. While it was kind to hear his voice, the last part about the old man made Rintrah look sadden as he looked at his wizard hat near his table and a photo of him drinking in the bar.
"Indeed, he was special when he taught me magic. Yet after helping out banish Chthon away and getting recognition from the city, he asked of them for a home in the Tampa's and brought Jeanette along. It would have been nice if he stayed around, but he can't help but love the sand."
Acknowledging him about helping out with his training and deciding to retire somewhere with his girlfriend to enjoy their peace away from the city. Krugarr could tell that the training he went through with him was special if meant giving his hat before leaving. Rintrah got focused about the interview and decided to ask him the same thing like Leonard did when he came to the city.
"But it's now your turn to learn. Which makes want to ask, why do you want to be my apprentice?"
Asking the same question his mentor asked him long ago as Krugarr had trouble coming up with a response. With how considerate he seemed and patient for the answer, the Lem male was able to come up with the answer that would best fit his position as his apprentice.
"I wish to see what lies before me in the city as well the department. While it's special to learn magic and using it to look after others, it's important to meet people so that my magic can get stronger. Especially helping them as both a sorcerer, and an employee of the department."
Giving his statement about coming here to his apprentice as well help out with the department like Rintrah did when he arrived in New York. Hearing him say those words and the honesty coming from him made the R'Vaalian smile at how it reminded him of his younger self when he was excited to come here. Just as he was about to state the responsibilities of the apprenticeship and his job here, the two heard the door open which was Nikki who had matured to a young adult and walking a pair of twins by the side.
"Sorry on coming in dad. The twins were driving our mom's crazy, well except for Callie since she entertained the idea."
Explaining the situation as the twins were male and female with two horns that came from Rintrah and Callie. Their hair style was green from Jennifer and had a mixture of green and light red skin. Rintrah smiled at Zane and Desiree since it was a surprise for Callie to be pregnant with them, along fulfilling Jen's wish in becoming a parent.
"Not to worry, it's a lesson for our new friend. That in this job anything can happen, even relationships blooming on the first day."
Rintrah suggested about what Krugarr would expect once he started as the Lem couldn't help but find it enjoyable seeing the Sorcerer Supreme with a family and working an everyday job. Going to continue the interview with the twins by his side, Zane looked outside heard a ruckus happening as he rushed to the window and saw something happening on the street.
"Daddy! Moms are outside with a giant octopus, and it is holding Man birds!"
The young R'Vaalian hybrid shouting as Rintrah decided to take a look into the matter as he looked out seeing Callie who had her demon wings along appeared to look the same as she did several years ago. While Jennifer had gotten bigger and wearing glasses while wearing her usual attorney attire but now dark purple and grey.
"Shuma Gorath demands compensations for these infernal creatures defiling my garden and my eye!"
Shouting in rage as the two women weren't fazed by his shouting along his tentacle on the block making several cars flip in the air and hitting the ground. Continuing to throw a tantrum as well ready to slam his tentacle on the ground again to let out his rage, Jennifer stopped him with one arm as she became stronger in the last few years with the two departments coming together.
"First. Smashing public property isn't going get you anywhere since these manbirds are still protected by law, even if they are annoying."
Expressing her annoyance in the naked creatures as they quickly got out of his tentacles and were about to stop defecating again. Callie lifted her finger which caused the birds to stop flying as they hit several trees suspending them from flying but not hurting them.
"Plus that getting shit on is a everyday thing, plus your on diplomatic visit from the chaos dimension due to the meetings of interdimensional rulers attending Maddison Square Garden. But if you wish for a solution, I can find one. But if not, then I'll rip that eyeball out and make it into my babies new ball toy."
Suggesting on two ideas for him to follow on which caused Shuma Gorath to get angry as he was about to lash out at them. Though that only made Shuma Gorath upset at the succubus's threat as he raised all his tentacles in midair preparing to show his powers from the chaos dimension. Rintrah picked up Zane and placed him by his sister before looking serious at outside mentally preparing to meet the Chaos demon head on.
"Keep the twins and Krugarr here Nikki."
Informing his daughter before walking out to the window and jumping out of it. Krugarr looked horrified at his possible mentor going outside as he rushed over to see if he was alright, only to see Rintrah remove his tie which changed into the cloak of levitation. Stopping in midair his suit changed into his sorcerer attire as he got the attention of Shuma Gorath as well Callie and Jennifer who saw him descending upon them. He performs a quick spell to repair the damage around the street as well the property that was destroyed during the tantrum as he lands right by the women's side.
"Greetings. I am Rintrah from the department of justice and integration, as well sorcerer supreme. How can I help you."
Asking the creature of what he could do in the hopes of settling this issue and see if they could reach a common ground for what was happening. Looking at the large eye creature merely made Shuma Gorath let go of the Man birds as they quickly flew away from him due to the magic he could sense from Rintrah.
"Yes. Compensation, Shuma Gorath desires new flowers for garden being ruined. As well the magic you used that humiliate Chthon!"
Announcing both of his requests before lashing out at the three which left Rintrah to create a barrier around the three to protect themselves from his attack. Sighing at the response he was given, Rintrah along Callie and Jennifer would have to deal with this matter both in a civil and aggressive at the same time. Meanwhile in the office was Krugarr who was watching the display of Rintrah working and protecting the city at the same time, he was confused at the moment while Nikki and her siblings weren't fazed by the excitement happening outside.
"You think they'll be long? I thought we're going see grandma after work."
Desiree asking Nikki about if their parents would take long with this case which seemed possible, before Nikki could respond she saw a Man bird flying right at them in an attempt to make them scared. She only glows bright blinding the bird and Krugarr while the twins weren't fazed by the light since they grew up around her abilities.
"We're going to. But right now I think our parents are scaring the new guy right now."
Responding to her sister as the three were looking at Krugarr who watched the trio battle Shuma Gorath to help relief the anger that he was expressing and offer him suitable flowers that were ruined by the birds. It was just like what the stories were told about him, once a simple magic user in the hopes of becoming the sorcerer supreme to now combining his workplace with the women he loves and have a family at the same time. Something he could soon earn once he learns from Rintrah teachings, as well anyone else that comes to New York. Man, woman, monster or even the most absurd of beings that come here can had a chance to make something of themselves. All it takes is someone to lead the way, as well knowing how to treat others and to not let anything stand in way. Much like the R'Vaalian who continues to help others and protect them, no matter how aggressive and complicated things get in the city and with the people around him.
