We then cut to morning at Sunnyside as the toys remain sad and glum in their cages. In his cage, Hamm plays a harmonica until Blade, playing along as instructed by Buzz, bangs on the bars stopping him
Buzz Lightyear: Quiet, musical hog! Knock it off!
Hamm: (sighs)
We see blitzo holding Moxxie's hat in his hands with loona next to him
Loona: you uh...you okay blitz?
Blitzo just looks away as he continues to cry. Loona shared his pain. She then looks to Andy's name on her leg thinking about why they ever came here in the first place. Blitzo then launched himself into her and loona just sat there, trying to help comfort her adopted father
Just then the door bursts open and Lotso and his gang race in on the truck
Lotso's Gang: (whooping and laughing)
Lotso: Rise and shine, campers!
Buzz Lightyear: Commander Lotso, sir!
rolls down in front of him and the others join him
Buzz Lightyear: All quiet. Nothing to report.
Lotso: Excellent, Lightyear. Come on. We need ya back at Star Command.
Mrs Potato Head: Wait! What've you done with my husband?
Lotso: Big Baby?
Big Baby arrives and throws a sand covered Mr Potato Head on the floor
Mrs Potato Head: (gasps) Sweetheart!
Mr Potato Head: (groans and takes out one of his ears letting out sand) It was cold and dark. Nothing but sand and a couple of Lincoln logs.
Hamm: Uh, I don't think those were Lincoln logs.
Lotso: You all get ready. You got a play date with destiny
Meanwhile, the bell went off and all the children race into the Butterfly room. Bonnie hangs her backpack on a hanger and ran off. The zip on the backpack moves up to reveal moxxie and Millie, had snuck into it and climbs out up to the shelf. But they first had to wait because Millie was writing a note
Millie: "dear Bonnie, we appreciate the time we spent with you yesterday, but we can't stay around. Our friends are in trouble and they need us. I hope you understand. I hope that soon we can see each other again, sincerely: Millie"
She rolls it up and puts it in her backpacks little pocket and they leave. They hide when a girl run past then climb up to the rafters. They crawl along the rafters til they came to the Caterpillar Room. They climb into the play castle and look down at their friends getting bashed, kicked, drooled on, chewed and thrown around by the toddlers, much to their horror
Just then, they hear dinging and see the same toy telephone that had bumped into them the day before. The telephone drops his phone on the floor, much to their puzzlement. They go over and Millie picks up the phone. The telephone gestures for her to speak
Millie: uh...hello?
Chatter Telephone: You shouldn't have come back, fellas. They've cracked down hard since you left. More guards, more patrols. You and your friends ain't ever gettin' out of here now
Moxxie: well we got out once
Chatter Telephone: You got lucky once. Want my advice? Keep your heads down. You'II all survive.
Moxxie: Yeah, for how long?
Chatter Telephone: I've been here years. They'II never break me. There's only one way toys leave this place.
They watch a toy train being thrown into a trash chute
Chatter Telephone: Poor fella. Trash truck comes at dawn and it's off to the dump
Millie: well we appreciate your words of wisdom, but we and our friends have a kid waiting for us. Now we need to get outta here. If you help us, one toy to another, we'd much appreciate it
Chatter Telephone: (sighs) Well, if you're gonna get out, first thing you gotta get through's the doors. Locked every night. Inside and out. Keys are left on a hook in the office.
Millie: Got it. What else?
Chatter Telephone: Lotso has trucks patrolling all night long. Hallway, lobby, playground.
Moxxie: Yeah. But what about the wall?
Chatter Telephone: Eight feet high. Cinder block. No way through it. You either go over or under.
Millie: Huh. Doesn't seem too bad.
Chatter Telephone: It's not. Your real problem's the Monkey.
We see the same Monkey Bonnie had been playing with the day before
Chatter Telephone: The Monkey's the eye in the sky. He sees everything. Classrooms.
A bunny teddy escapes from a cubby and runs. A camera sees it and the Monkey screeches an alert into a microphone. His screeches echos on the speakers. The bunny stops in fears as Lotso and Big Baby appear to recapture it
Chatter Telephone: Hallways.
A toy penguin peeks out from a plant then waddles over to the door. The Monkey saw this through a camera and screeches another alert. Toy trucks surround the penguin, making him put up his flippers in surrender and look up in fear at Big Baby who recaptures it
Chatter Telephone: Even the playground.
Three toys, a rag doll, a dinosaur toy and a toy robot uses a toy gun with a suction cup on the end to climb the wall but the Monkey sees them and alerts Twitch to their location and shone his torch on them. Big Baby's shadow creeps up the wall as he recaptures them. We cut back to Chatter, moxxie and Millie
Chatter Telephone: You can unlock doors, sneak past guards, climb the wall but if you don't take out that monkey, you ain't goin' nowhere. You wanna get outta here? [serious] GET RID OF THAT MONKEY!
The bell goes off and the toddlers exit the Caterpillar Room to begin recess
Teacher: Recess. Come on, kids.
Once they're gone, the toys pick themselves up groaning
Moxxie: guys!
pokes his head out from the play castle
Moxxie: over here!
Blitzo: moxxie? Millie?!
Rex: moxxie! Millie!
Slinky: moxxie!
Jessie: Millie!
They race into the play castle and hug their friends with relief and happiness
Hamm: Hey, hey, hey, buddy!
Mrs Potato Head: Thank goodness!
Slinky: You're all alive!
Moxxie: of course were alive!
Loona presses his hat on his head
Moxxie: hey my hat! W- where's buzz?
Rex: Lotso did something to him!
Slinky: He thinks he's a real space ranger again
Millie: "again?" As in this happened before?
Hamm: Oh, yes. Return of the Astronut.
Blitzo comes up and bear hugs moxxie
Blitzo: I owe you a huge apology mox! It was my idea to come here! I was so dead wrong to leave Andy!
Mr Potato Head: blitzo's right, fellas. he was wrong. And we were wrong to blame you.
Moxxie: no, it's our fault for leaving you guys. From now on, we stick together.
Slinky: But Andy's leaving for college.
Jessie: College! Hogtie the mailman! We gotta get you home before Andy leaves tomorrow!
Hamm: Tomorrow? But that means...
Millie: It means we're busting out of here! Tonight!
Mrs Potato Head: What? Impossible!
Rex: There's no way out of here!
Moxxie: no, there IS a way out!
They look out of the window at the trash chute
Moxxie: alright, here's what we're gonna do...
They huddle up to listen.
The scene changes to the playground at night with trucks and Twitch with the search light as Chatter said beforehand. Ken, Buzz, are doing roll call
Ken: Springy dog.
Slinky: Present.
Ken: Green guys.
The Squeaky Alien Trio squeak in reply
Ken: Cowgirl.
Jessie: Here.
Ken: Horse.
Bullseye: (whinnies)
Ken: imp
Blitzo: present
Ken: hellhound
Loona: right here...
Ken: Piggy bank.
Hamm: Yo.
Ken: Tyrannosaurus.
Rex: Here
Moxxie and Millie watch from the rafters above
Ken: Barbie.
Barbie: Here.
Ken: Potato Head.
no answer
Ken: Potato Head.
again no answer
Buzz looks at what seems to be Mr. Potato Head fast asleep in his cubby
Buzz Lightyear: Hey, hey! Tuberoys root-man! Wake up!
The object rolls forward revealing to be an actual potato
Buzz Lightyear: (gasp) Impossible!
He looks to see Mr Potato Head fiddling with the lock on the window
Buzz Lightyear: Hey!
Mr Potato Head: (gasps)
Mr Potato Head runs with Buzz, Ken, Big Baby, in hot pursuit. Woody, uses a plastic straw to lift the clothes line with paintings on it up. Mr Potato Head pounds on the door but it's no good. In the office, the Monkey watches with confusion at the scene
Ken: A little late for a stroll, eh, Potato Head?
Mr Potato Head: That's Mr Potato Head to you, smoothie.
The Monkey is so busy watching the confrontation that he doesn't notice Slinky, sneak out of their cubbies. They creep over and moxxie uses a bag of marbles to make himself heavier and low him and Millie down to the ground, holding onto the line. They grab Slinky, and lift them up to the rafters unnoticed
Ken: Well, well, well. You're turning out to be quite the troublemaker, aren't you? What did you think you were gonna do? Waltz right out of here?
Mr Potato Head: Yeah, and I would've got away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling toys! You ascot-wearing pink-noser! You're not a toy! You're an accessory! You're a purse with legs. [kicks Ken]
Ken: Ow! Take him back to the box!
Mr Potato Head: [as Big Baby grabs him and carries him off] No! No, not the box! I'm sorry. I didn't mean it! I like ascots. Really. No, no, no!
Moxxie: okay, phase 2!
Ken: Good work, Lightyear. All right, resume your, uh, space-guy-thingy.
Buzz Lightyear: (salutes) Yes, sir, well groomed man.
Barbie: Ken! Ken? (sobs)
Ken walks over to Barbie's cubby where he finds her sobbing
Ken: What do you want?
Barbie: I can't take it here, Ken. I wanna go to the Butterfly Room. With you!
Ken: Yeah, well, you should've thought of that yesterday.
Barbie: I was wrong. I wanna be with you, Ken, I do. In your Dream House. (sobbing) Please take me away from this! Take me away!
Ken: Darn it, Barbie! Okay, things are complicated around here. You gotta do what I say.
Barbie: I will, Ken. I promise.
Ken frees Barbie from her cubby. Outside in the playground
Mr Potato Head: Wait. I'll do anything! I'll change your diapers!
Big Baby throws Mr Potato Head in the sand pit before shutting the lid and walking off. Unbeknownst to him, Mr Potato Head pushes a small bit of wood loose, uses his eye to check if the coast is clear then throws all his parts onto the ground
The Monkey is still watching the cameras but fails to notice moxxie, and Slinky dangling behind him from the rafters with moxxie holding a bag to use to capture the Monkey. Slinky swings them back and forth to get closer but the Monkey suddenly turns around and screeches, startling them
Monkey: (screeches)
Moxxie: AAAHHH!!!
Slinky's back end slips and they crash into the Monkey, knocking the microphone onto the floor in the process. The Monkey hisses at moxxie, then starts running toward the microphone. Moxxie uses the wire of the microphone to lasso the Monkey's foot, causing him to fall over. Moxxie, battle the Monkey until he pins them down with his feet while bashing moxxie's face with his cymbals several times, but this was let of the plan as Millie ambushes from behind stabbing the monkeys back multiple times with a sharp cafeteria knife, her eyes flaming with primal rage
Millie: slink! The tape!
Slinky grab some nearby tape and run toward the Monkey who turns and sees them glaring at him while running and screeches again
Meanwhile, Ken and Barbie arrive in the Dream House via lift]
Ken: And this is where the magic happens.
He turns on the light revealing dozens of outfits
Barbie: (gasps) Look at all your clothes! I can't believe you never brought me up here! Tennis whites? Mission to Mars!
Ken: I know, I know, I know. Check this out! Kung fu fighting. Campus hero with matching sports pennant, huh?
Barbie: (gasps) Flower power! Oh, Ken!
Ken: (sigh) No one appreciates clothes here, Barbie. No one.
Barbie: Ken, would you model a few outfits for me? Just a few.
Ken seems to be brighten up at Barbie asking him this. Seconds later, he is dressed up in a red sparkle outfit which is then followed by white clothing
Barbie: (giggles) Rarr.
Ken in then in a yellow shirt with black overalls, then a cowboy outfit. He changes into a cool due outfit with glasses, another cowboy outfit, an astronaut space suit, a white and black coat with fur linings, a blue suit with a white spot with colourful stars on it, some swimming trunks and a snorkel and the flower power outfit as he strike a pose
In the office, moxxie Millie, and Slinky have wrapped the Monkey in tape. Millie pushes the Monkey into a drawer and Ramone pushes it shut
Slinky: Go get the key,
Moxxie helps Millie to the key that's as hanging in its usual hook
Slinky moves the stick to control the camera in the Caterpillar in order to signal to the others. Loona sees and howls at Hamm and Rex
Hamm: [pretending to be angry at Rex] Hey! What do you think you're doing?! I told you! Keep your hands off of my stuff!
Rex: [also pretending to be angry] Make a move, Porky!
Hamm rams into Rex and they start fighting. Buzz sees this and runs over
Buzz Lightyear: Hey, hey! No fighting! Break it up!
Buzz yanks the cubby out and it falls over sending Hamm and Rex flying
Buzz Lightyear: Hey! Hey!
Hamm: Take that, walnut-brain. No wonder you're extinct!
Jessie uses her feet to kick her cubby open. Rex and Hamm continue to fight as Buzz tried to break them up
Buzz Lightyear: Hey, you can't hit each other! That's my job!
Jessie: Yoo-hoo!
Buzz looks up and sees Jessie, Bullseye and the others with a large see-through container on top of a cupboard
Buzz Lightyear: Whoa!
They jump and use the container to trap Buzz
Buzz Lightyear: Help! Prison riot!
He aims his laser at the wall and tries to use it to cut a hole, not realizing it's just a light bulb. He runs at the wall but smacks right into it and falls over
Jessie: Get the tortilla.
Bullseye runs over to some nearby shelves and takes a lunchbox off one of them. Jessie opens it and takes out a tortilla. She skimmed it under the door, knocks on it and ran off
Outside, Mr. Potato Head's arm retrieve the tortilla and pulled into a structure before all his parts stuck themselves to it one by one until Mr. Potato Head has become Mr. Tortilla Head.
He crawls along before standing up. He look around til he sees the Butterfly room and walks over to it
Meanwhile, the Dream House, Ken is getting ready to show Barbie another outfit
Ken: Ready?
Barbie: Ready.
Ken: [jumps out in a karate outfit and does some karate moves while yelling. He stops and sees that Barbie is gone] Uh, Barbie?
Barbie pounces on him from behind, pins him down then turns his head to face her
Barbie: No more games, Ken! What did Lotso do to Buzz and how did we switch him back?
Ken: You can't make me talk! You can't!
Barbie glares at him, even gritting her teeth
Ken: But I'd like to see ya try!
A toy truck rolls through the hallway. Moxxie peeks out through the gap underneath the door of the office to watch it gone then shuts it. Slinky uses rubber bands as a slingshot to send the key into the Caterpillar room and when Millie gives the signal, he lets go of the slingshot and the key slips through the hallway into the Caterpillar room where Jessie picks it up
Outside, Mr. Tortilla Head wobbly walks over to the window and climbs up a tricycle to get to it. He looks inside and saw Lotso fast asleep in an armchair]
Lotso: (snoring)
Mr. Tortilla Head crept over to the tricycle and uses it's mirror to reflect the moonlight so he can signal to Mrs Potato Head who uses the key to unlock the door to the playground and crept outside with Jessie, Bullseye, blitzo, loona and the Aliens. As they walk through the darkness, they quickly duck behind a cone as Twitch aimed his search light in their direction
Barbie: Let's see. Hawaiian Surf Trunks.
She tears them in half and throws them to the ground next to Ken who is tied to a paddle with string which has a ball on the end and have only his underwear on
Ken: Oh! Barbie, those were vintage! It's okay. All right, go ahead, rip 'em, I don't care. They're a dime a dozen.
Barbie: Ooh, glitter tux. (tears them in half and throws them in front of Ken)
Ken: (trying to keep calm) Who cares? Who cares? Sequins are tacky. Who cares?
Barbie: Ah, a Nehru jacket.
Ken: (gasps) Barbie, not the Nehru.
Barbie: This is from what?? 1967?
Ken: The groovy formal collection, yes!
Barbie: What a shame. (begins to tear it)
Ken: Oh, no, no, no! No! There's an instruction manual! (yelling) Lotso switched Buzz to Demo mode! (sobbing)
Barbie: Where's that manual?
Later, Barbie is disguised in Ken's Astronaut Outfit and in the library as the Bookworm approaches with the manual
Bookworm: (sighs) I don't know why this couldn't wait until morning, Ken, but...
He gives Barbie the manual
Bookworm: Here ya go.
Barbie takes it and salutes before heading off. The Bookworm turns to go then stops and looks at Barbie's shoes
Bookworm: Yeesh.
Slinky: What's taking so doggone long?
A knock is heard and imps lifts a piece of ceiling to let Barbie in. She takes off her helmet
Millie: so how do we fix buzz?
Barbie shows them the manual. Down below outside, Mr. Tortilla Head watches the imps pull Barbie into the rafters. He signals to moxxie and gestures to Lotso, indicating the coast is clear. Millie gives a thumbs up then closes the piece of ceiling. Mr. Tortilla Head shuffles along the window when the shadow of a pigeon passes over him, causing him to gasp. He stops and sees a pigeon beside him looking at him
Mr. Tortilla Head: What are you looking at, feathers?
The pigeon approaches him then pecks at him twice before he hits it and scares it off
Mr. Tortilla Head: Hey! Ow!
He grunts then yells making the pigeon fly off
Mr. Tortilla Head: Yeah, fly away you coward.
He starts to come apart
Mr. Tortilla Head: Uh-oh.
He falls to the ground in pieces
Mr. Tortilla Head: Well, that's just great.
One tortilla piece with an eye, arm and leg attached sits up. Seeing something, it taps the other which sits up to. They look at some nearby cucumbers and get an idea
Back in the Caterpillar Room, Buzz is still trying to get out of the container he's trapped in
Buzz Lightyear: (muffled) Help! Prison riot! Mayday! Mayday!
Hamm: Ugh, give it up! No one can hear ya.
Buzz Lightyear: (stops banging and looks confused as he cannot hear her because of the container) What?
Hamm: She said no one can hear you.
Buzz Lightyear: (still unable to hear) What?!
Rex: (loudly) She said no one can...!
Hamm: Shush! Will you be quiet?!
Moxxie, Millie, and Slinky show up climbing down from the rafters
Rex: moxxie! Millie! Buzz sees that they are distracted and uses this to his advantage. He kicks the container from over him, knocking Hamm, and Rex off it onto the floor. He then makes a run for it which Woody notices]
Moxxie: [gasps] Stop him! Don't let him get out!
Buzz Lightyear: (talking into his wrist communicator while running) Star Command, I've been taken hostage by my own prisoners!
Hamm, and Rex pounce on him and pin him to the ground as the others hurry over
Moxxie: Quickly! Open the hole in his back! There's a switch!
Buzz Lightyear: Unhand me, Zurg scum! The Galactic Courts will show you no mercy!
Moxxie opens Buzz's battery compartment in his back. He pushes it to the Play side several times but nothing happens
Moxxie: It's not working. Why is it not working? Where's the manual?
Hamm: Here we go! There should be a little hole under the switch.
Millie: Little hole, got it!
Hamm: "To reset your Buzz Lightyear, insert paperclip..."
Millie: Rex, use your finger!
Rex: What?
He sticks his finger in the hole
Buzz Lightyear: (grunting)
Millie: Okay, now what?
Hamm: All right, let's see. "Caution. Do not hold button for more than five seconds."
But Rex doesn't take his finger out and does more than five seconds. Buzz beeps, spins his head, smiles then passes out, leaving everyone confused. Rex removes his finger and looks sheepish
Rex: It's not my fault.
Just then, Buzz springs up, pushing everyone away with his wings and striking a Spanish dance pose. He then retracts his wings, flamenco dances forward then opens his wrist communicator then talks into it
Buzz: Bitácora espacial... Me he despertado del hiper-sueño en un planeta extraño
Everyone stares in shock
Hamm:Now what did you do?
Rex: I just did what you told me!
Buzz: Estoy rodeado por criaturas extrañas y desconozco sus intenciones.
He jumps and aims his laser at moxxie's forehead
Buzz: ¿Quién andá ahí? ¿Amigo? O enemigo?
Moxxie: uh...amigos! We're all amigos!
Buzz: Me debo de haber extraviado y se me ha borrado la memoria.
He kisses moxxie on each cheek and taps him
Buzz: ¿Han visto mi nave espacial?
Millie: okay we gotta change him back
Slinky: but how do we do that?
Hamm: I dunno! That parts in Spanish!
But then, they hear the siren of a toy truck passing through the hallway outside the room
Moxxie: ugh! We don't have time for this. Come on, El Buzzo.
He grabs Spanish Buzz's wrist
Buzz: ¿Mi nave? ¿La encontraste? ¡Excelente!
As the toys run away, Chatter Telephone watches with an impressed look on his face
Chatter telephone: good luck fellas
Outside in the playground, Twitch continues to use his searchlight. Unbeknownst to him, Jessie, Mrs. Potato Head, the Aliens, and Bullseye are hiding and waiting for the others when Mrs. Potato Head sees them coming
Mrs Potato Head: Oh, here they come.
As the others run on, Buzz continuously points his laser in various directions before Millie grabs him and drags him behind him
Millie: Come on, Buzz.
She pulls him over to the climbing frame
Blitzo: the fuck took you so long?
Moxxie: Things got complicated. Where's Potato Head?
Jessie: We haven't seen him.
Buzz Lightyear: (gasps)
Jessie: Buzz.
Buzz, clearly love struck upon seeing Jessie, falls to his knees and grabs her hand
Buzz: ¡Mi florecilla del desierto! ¡Yo nunca había visto la verdadera belleza hasta esta noche!
Jessie: Did you fix Buzz?
Hamm: Uh, sort of?
Loona: (barks) hide! Someone's coming!
Buzz pushes Jessie back against a wall as a tall shadowy figure approaches. The figure is revealed to be Mr. Potato Head who has turned into Mr. Cucumber
Mr. Cucumber Head: You will not believe what I have been through tonight!
Mrs Potato Head: Oh, darling. Are you okay?
Mr Cucumber Head: I feel fresh, healthy. It's terrible!
Mrs Potato Head: You've lost weight and so tall.
Bullseye rolls Mr. Potato Head's real body over to him
Mr Cucumber Head: Ah, you're a sight for detachable eyes.
He sticks his eyes on his real body. Slinky slides down the slide and looks around. He wags his tail to tell them the coast is clear
Moxxie: okay! All clear!
The toys slide down the slide and sneak their way across the playground to one of the string rides
Millie: we're almost there!
Jessie: We're almost there.
But as Jessie and some of the toys make it to the bushes, moxxie, Millie, the Aliens and Bullseye stop when they hear a toy truck coming their way
Moxxie: [gasps] Back up! Back up!
They hurry back to the spring rides and hide as the truck pulls up and stops
Jessie: (gasps)
Millie mouth and gestures to her to keep going. Jessie thumbs up and nodded before disappearing into the bushes
Moxxie: Come on.
Jessie peeks out of the bushes. Soon, the imps, Bullseye and the Aliens are sneaking by the swings when moxxie notices Big Baby staring up at the night sky on one of the swings. The imps, Bullseye and the Aliens sneak by unnoticed and jump off the land, though one of the aliens falls off Bullseye's back and squeaks upon hitting the ground as he jumps. This catches Big Baby's attention and he turns his head around. Moxxie, Millie, Bullseye and the Aliens are hiding beneath the beams around the ground the swings are on. Jessie gasps as Big Baby proceeds to climb down from the swing and approach the edge but as he peaks over, he sees there's nothing there and toddles off
Big Baby: [babbling]
Once he's gone, moxxie, Millie, Bullseye and the Aliens peek out from a bucket they'd been hiding under, very relieved they weren't spotted
Jessie: (sighs with relief)
Just then, Buzz grabs her and yanks next to him before performing a series of complex Spanish dance moves much to the confusion of the toys. He swings Jessie from side to side then holds her in a proposal like way
Buzz: ¡Venga conmigo, Señorita! ¡Le enseñaré las maravillas de la galaxia, y juntos con nuestro amor venceremos al mal!
Jessie looks very flattered. The imps, Bullseye and the Aliens arrive much to Jessie's relief
Jessie: guys! Your okay!
Moxxie: come on we're almost there!
Buzz: ¡El vaquero!
All the toys run up to the trash chute. Millie tried to reach it by jumping but thinks it's no good
Millie: mox, gimme a boost
Moxxie heads over to her but buzz pushes both of them aside. He then presses a button on his chest
Voice box: ¡Buzz Lightyear al rescate!
Buzz uses a broom to reach the hatch, sticks his feet in the handle and it opens
Buzz: Abierto.
Moxxie: nice job buzz!
They climb up to the chute
Jessie: is it safe?
Moxxie: I'll check
Moxxie then slides down the shoot but stop just in time before he goes over the edge
Millie: mox! Are you okay?
Moxxie: I'm okay honey. You all can climb down, but not all at once!
Rex: what he say?
Millie: he said not all at once!
One at a time the group slide down to moxxie and just before he fell over the edge Millie helps him out
Moxxie: thanks honey
Buzz: ¿Dónde está mi nave?
Blitzo: we're almost home free! Slink? Care to take it from here?
Slinky: Well, I might be old, but I still got a spring in my step.
Slinky stretches across the open gap in the dumpster
Rex: He did it!
Hamm: All right, Slinkykins.
Slinky: Okay, climb across
Just then, Lotso shows up, much to their shock
Lotso: You lost little doggie?
Slinky: (gasps)
Lotso pushes Slinky back to the others
Lotso: Well, well. Look who's back.
Stretch appears behind the toys. Lotso gestures to Twitch and Sparks who bring Chatter forward, beaten and dirty
Chatter Telephone: I'm sorry, cowboy
Moxxie: (gasps)
Chatter Telephone: They broke me.
Lotso: What are y'all doing? Running back to your kid? He don't want you no more
Moxxie: that's a load of bullshit!
Lotso: is it? Well answer me this, if your kid does love you so much then...why is he leaving? You think your a special imp? You're a piece of plastic. You were made to be thrown away.
They hear a truck horn in the distance
Lotso: Speak of the devil.
He walked to the edge of the dumpster and looked to see a garbage truck nearby
Moxxie: oh...crumbs...
Lotso: Now, we need toys in our Caterpillar Room and you need to avoid that truck. Why don't you come on back, join our family again?
Jessie: This isn't a family! It's a prison! You're a liar and a bully! And I'd rather rot in this dumpster than join any family of yours!
Millie: Jessie's right! Authority should derive from the consent of the governed, not from the threat of force.
Blitzo and loona look at each other and shrug
Lotso: If that's what you want.
[He bang his cane and Stretch starts to push the toys toward the edge. Just then, Ken runs up and she stops
Ken: Barbie! Wait! Don't do this, Lotso!
Lotso: She's a Barbie doll, Ken. There's a hundred million just like her.
Ken: Not to me, there's not.
Barbie: Oh!
Lotso: Fine! Then why do you join her?!
He pushes Ken over to the toys and Barbie pulls him up before he falls into the dumpster
Barbie: (hugging him) Oh, Ken!
Ken: Everyone, listen! Sunnyside could be cool and groovy if we treated each other fair. It's Lotso. He's made us into a pyramid, and he put himself on top!
Lotso: Anyone concur with Ken?
silence. Sparks and Twitch look at each other, unsure
Lotso: I didn't throw you away. Your kid did. Ain't one kid ever loved a toy, really. Chew on that when you're at the dump
Moxxie: wait! What about daisy?
Lotso: I don't know what you're talking about
Moxxie: your original owner. You used to do everything with her
Lotso: Yeah? Then she threw us out.
Moxxie: No. She lost you.
Lotso: She REPLACED us!
Moxxie: She replaced you! And if you couldn't have her then no one could. You lied to Big Baby and you've been lying ever since.
shows Big Baby's pendant with Daisy's name on it
Big Baby: [whimpers]
Lotso: [sees the nametag and is stunned with anger] Where'd you get that?
Moxxie: She loved you, Lotso.
Lotso: She never loved me.
Moxxie: As much as any kid ever loved a toy.
Moxxie throws the pendant to the other side and Big Baby picks it up, looking as if he is about to cry
Big Baby: Mama.
Lotso: What?! You want your mommy back? She never loved you! Don't be such a baby!
Lotso uses his cane to smash the pendant much to Big Baby's sadness
Big Baby: [crying]
Lotso: Push em in! All of em!
Stretch starts to do so reluctantly
Lotso: This is what happens when you dummies try to think! We're all just trash, waitin' to be thrown away! That's all a toy is.
Just then, Big Baby picks him up and carries him to the open part of the dumpster
Lotso: Hey! Stop it! Put me down you idiot! Aaah!
Big Baby throws Lotso into the dumpster and starts to close the lid
Lotso: No! No! Wait a minute! Big Baby, wait!
Big Baby closes the lid fully as everyone looks on in shock
Rex: He's gone.
Mr Potato Head: Holy cow.
Blitzo: Didn't see that one comin'.
Big Baby: (blows a raspberry)
The garbage truck gets closer
Moxxie: Come on! Hurry!
The toys start to run across the dumpster but Moxxie stops when he hears a squeaking noise. He turns and sees one of the Aliens has got it's foot stuck in one of the lids
Moxxie: oh for the love of shit!
Buzz: ¡Vamos, vaquero!
Moxxie runs back to the alien that got it's foot caught and lift the lid so it can get up and run to safety with the other two. But as moxxie started to follow, Lotso's paw grabbed his tail and began to start pulling him in
Millie: moxxie!
Lotso drags moxxie into the bin
Buzz Lightyear: (gasps)
Just then, the garbage truck arrives
Hamm: Oh, boy! Incoming!
The garbage truck uses it's forks to lift the dumpster to it's trailer
Millie: Come on!
The toys jump onto the dumpster
Ken: Barbie, no!
Millie tries to open the lid but it's too heavy. Just then, the lids open and all the rubbish pours into the trailer, including moxxie
Millie: moxxie!
Suddenly, the forks stop, jotting the toys into the trailer too
Barbie: No!
The truck puts the bin down and drives off as Barbie and Ken look on in horror
