Chapter Two.

Harry's Second Year at Hogwarts:

After leaving Hogwarts, Harry returned to the Dursleys where for the first few weeks, things were a bit better for him at the Dursleys. At first, they were shocked to see how he was the same small thin boy that they knew about a year ago, he had grown a few inches and gained a few pounds along with gaining a few muscles. Although Holly was happy for him, seeing how he was finally becoming the person she knew he should be - he was becoming cuter because of it. She just hoped that her parents and brother wouldn't try and take it away again. But she was fearful and angry when she heard what he went through that year, but she was glad that he was safe. But she made sure to help him learn a few defence wandless skills, so that he could defend himself should something like this happen again.

Now everything seemed to be fine for Harry up 'til his birthday, as he didn't let his family know that he wasn't allowed to use magic over the holidays. Although he did use wandless magic outside the house, he wanted that under wraps from his for now. One he wasn't sure if whoever tracked magic could track his kind of magic or not, and if not he was worried that even though they hated anything magic, he feared that they would inform them just so that he could be punished. Maybe if possible, seal his magic and kick him out the magical world. Then they could do whatever they wanted to him and he couldn't do much about it.

Shit hit the fans on his birthday. His uncle and aunt were hosting a dinner party for an important person and his wife, they were someone big at his uncle's company. But seeing how his family didn't want them to know about him, he had to hide in his room for the night.

Upon entering his room though, he came face to face with a strange-looking small looking elf-like creature. He would learn that this creature was in fact a house-elf known as Dobby. Harry learned that this creature was stealing his mail, which explained why he didn't get any mail so far this summer. During a crying fit, Harry heard the creature say that it would have to punish itself for being here and letting his family down. Not that Harry cared about it, seeing how he wanted to punish the creature for stealing his mail.

It would seem that the strange house-elf, Dobby didn't want Harry back at Hogwarts that year for some reason. Dobby had hoped that if Harry thought he had no friends, he wouldn't return to Hogwarts. Like that was going to happen, as although he had Holly, Harry wanted time away from the Dursleys and Hogwarts was that place. When Harry tried to get info out of the house-elf, he wasn't able to get anything from the creature, as it punished itself if it tried to tell Harry. So Harry politely disregards the warning, telling the house-elf that he could look after himself.

That was a bad idea, as Dobby gave Harry one last chance to stay away from Hogwarts, but Harry told the elf that he would be going back no matter what so that he could get stronger. Later on, Harry would reflect on this moment and realized that if he wasn't so angry at someone stealing his mail, he would do things differently, as what happened next made things difficult for Harry.

You see, after Harry debugged the warning once again, Dobby went downstairs and wreaked havoc in the kitchen, infuriating the Dursleys. This ruined his uncle's dinner party, it was an important one that could have changed a lot for him. But because of Dobby's actions and an owl arriving when it did, the plan went up in flames and the people that his uncle was hosting for, wanted nothing to do with Vernon.

This angered his uncle, and thanks to learning that Harry can't do magic to get himself out of his room, his family imprisoned the young boy in his room for the rest of the summer. His owl was locked up, and bars added to his windows. It was only thanks to Holly that he got any decent food, as he couldn't risk using his magic to teleport out of there as they somehow were suddenly able to detect those using magic here.

As he stayed in his room, three questions, first how did they know it was him that did the magic and not his cousin Holly, or in this case this damn. This led to the question of why were they only just tracking his magic now, why not sooner. Seeing how they want to keep the Wizarding World a secret, they would keep track of any magic and track anyone doing unauthorised magic. He and Holly had been doing magic a lot, so he would have thought they would have crick down on them sooner. Especially seeing how they were doing a lot of magic since he got back to Hogwarts, as Harry was learning some wandless magic to help him fight.

The last question was how were they able to send a notice so quickly? With ten minutes of the magic being done, he got a notice warning him not to do magic again or be expelled. Sure Harry wasn't sure how the notice was done, all for he knew, the notes were already done and the names and addresses were magically added. But that left giving it to an owl and the owl flying to the person who did the magic, which Harry thought would take more than ten or so minutes. So unless the Ministry of Magic was close by, how did he get the warning so fast?

Did the owls have some sort of magic to make them faster? Or was this some sort of set up, to make him get the warning and keep him away from the Wizarding World? Harry had no way to know for sure or who could do such a thing or why. All he had was lots of unanswered questions.

Thankfully, Harry wasn't stuck in his room for long, as about a week later his friend Ron and his brother rescued him, seeing how they were worried about him, seeing how he didn't reply to Ron's and Hermione's letters. They rescued him by using a flying car that he later found out they stole from their father who loved experimenting with things on Muggle Items.

Harry was happy that he spent the rest of his summer at the Weasleys. The only had to deal with two things, the first thing he had to deal with was Ron's younger sister, who seemed to be shy of having the Boy-Who-Lived, it would seem that she was a big fan of his and was excited and shy of having him at her home. It was better than dealing with what he had to do back at his home.

The other problem was when he went shopping for school supplies with the Weasleys when Harry had two unfortunate encounters. His first encounter was with Lockhart, a famous author, who wanted a photo with the 'Boy-Who-Lived.' This was something Harry didn't like, sure he might be brave and do things that no else might not do. But that's only because no one else would do what was needed to, otherwise, he would prefer to stay in the shadows when possible. Now that wouldn't be so bad, but he learned that Lockhart was going to be the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher. Harry could already tell that he was going to be more useless than Quirrell was.

Then the second problem he faced that day, he encountered Draco Malfoy and his Lucius Malfoy. He first met the two in Borgin and Burkes, when he accidentally arrived there with a mishap of calling the name Diagon Alley when trying to use the Floo Network for the first time. Borgin and Burkes were a Dark Arts Shop found in Knockturn Alley. Thankfully the Malfoys didn't see him there, which he was thankful for. He was also thankful that Hagrid found him and took him to Flourish and Blotts.

He then met the two again in Flourish and Blotts, after meeting the fool, Lockhart. Draco made fun of him about the photo, teasing how he must have loved that. But before a fight could start between him, Draco and Ron, Ron's father appeared and stopped them.

Here Lucius appeared and whilst he sounded polite enough in public, the way he worded things made you know how he felt about the Weasley's and Muggleborns. Harry now knew where Draco got his personality from, but unlike Draco, Lucius knew to be polite and be careful how he worded his words. Harry suspected that the only reason that Draco was more careful of his words than normal was that his father was there.

The way Lucius talked though made Ron's father angry and started a fight, it was thankful that Hagrid was able to stop the fight before it got out of hand. Hagrid and Mrs. Weasley moved them along, away from the Malfoys and finished their shopping and had something to eat with Hermione's parents, where Mr. Weasley who was crazy about everything Muggle asked them many questions before they parted ways.

For the rest of the summer, things were nice, Harry had a relaxing time with the Weasley's, it was his best summer ever. The only thing that was missing was Holly, but he knew that her parents wouldn't allow her to come here. Shame really, seeing how she would have loved it here, she might have been able to play with Ginny.

But the first strange thing that happened was when they were about to board the train to Hogwarts. A magically invisible barrier stopped them from entering Platform 9¾, which made him late for the train. Not thinking clearly, fearing what would happen if they didn't get to Hogwarts in time, they borrowed Mr. Weasley's car to get to Hogwarts. You see the car could fly and become invisible, so they decided to take and follow the train to Hogwarts.

Halfway to Hogwarts though, the invisibility broke and they had to hide in the clouds until they got to Hogwarts, where the car played up once again and they hit a tree. But no normal tree though, a tree that has a habit of hitting back called the Whomping Willow. This along with being seen flying got them a detention. Unfortunately, Lockhart believed that Harry flew the car to get attention, so he lectured the boy.

Sadly they weren't allowed to go to the Great Hall for dinner, as it would make too much noise, so they had their meal in the room they were in.

Now things were fine, other than a poor Defence Class where Lockhart pushed his books on them, and retold stories from the books. Not once did they learn any magic or anything useful. Hermione was one of the few who defended the teacher, not only because he was a teacher, but she had a small crush on him like a few of the teen girls had.

Harry had to wonder what the hell was going on with the Headmaster, why would he hire someone so useless. During this time he learned something about the class, it was rumoured that the subject was cursed, no teacher lasting a year teaching it for one reason or another, because of this no one wanted the job if they could help it.

Over the next year Harry thought about the subject. If the class was really cursed, why hasn't someone tried to remove the curse? Why didn't they send a Curse Breaker in, like Ron's oldest brother Bill who was a Curse Breaker, Harry thought if anyone could break the curse it would be them. Near the end of the year, Harry began to wonder if they couldn't remove the curse, why couldn't they rename the class or use a different classroom, if the curse was connected to one of these two things. It was like the Headmaster wanted to keep the curse on the subject for some reason. But for some reason, Harry did talk to the Headmaster about it.

Back to the school year, during their first Quidditch practice, this was when they learned that Draco Malfoy had become the new Seeker for Slytherin. It would seem that his father brought him the place by giving the group new better brooms. Harry and the rest of Gryffindor Quidditch didn't like that they had Snape's permission to do this, even if it was Gryffindor's time.

Things got heated and Draco called Hermione a Mudblood, an insult on her heritage. Gryffindor was outraged at this and Ron tried to hex the asshole, but because of his wand being broken when they hit the Whomping Willow, so instead of hexing Draco, he hexed himself. He was throwing up slugs for the rest of the day. Ron and Hermione spent their day at Hagrid's hut.

Now apart from a few mishaps and a useless teacher teaching them Defence, the year seemed to go pretty well, that was until on Halloween. When Harry and his friends found a message that seemed to be printed in either blood or red print:

THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS HAS BEEN OPENED.

ENEMIES OF THE HEIR, BEWARE

The day started off as normal, but once they finished class, Harry and his friends went to Gryffindor's Ghost, Nearly- Headless Nick, Death Party. It was a day where ghosts, who didn't cross over, celebrated the day that they died. Harry didn't want to go, seeing he thought it was boring, which it was and much worse seeing how they had no food for humans, but Nick helped Harry out when he had a run-in with the student hating caretaker, Filch, and so he was forced to agree to go in return for his help.

But as they were going to the Great Hall to get some food, Harry heard a strange eerie voice, saying it wanted to kill, to feed and that it smelled blood. This wasn't the first time that he heard the voice, he heard it before, during his detention with Lockhart, but he didn't hear it either. It was the same with his friends, they didn't hear it either. But that didn't stop Harry, as he was worried, not only that, but he wanted to know what this voice was.

But instead of finding the thing behind the voice, they found the caretaker's cat, Mrs Norris, that was petrified, hanging in front of the message. But before they could make a getaway so as not to be blamed for this, students came along, and the worst student of all Draco was there who called out, "Enemies of the Heir, beware! You'll be next, Mudbloods!"

But before anything was said or done, the teachers came and pulled Harry and his friends away for questioning seeing how they were found there. Once they were done, the students were allowed back to their dorm and got some food. Seeing the taunt to Hermione, both Harry and Ron suspected that he was behind the attack.

By doing some research, Harry, Ron, and Hermione learn that fifty years ago a chamber at Hogwarts was opened and a student was killed. Here Harry suspected that Draco's father must have known about the attacks or was behind them, and so told his son how to do it again, to get rid of the school of Muggles.

During their first Quidditch match against Slytherin, there was an enchanted Bludger that was trying to hit Harry and had to outrun it. Now even though he had to deal with a rogue Bludger and a team with better brooms, Harry was able to catch the Snitch and allowed his team to win the match. But in winning the match though, the Bludger hit his arm and broke it. Harry wanted to go to the school healer as he knew she could heal the bones within a few minutes, but Lockhart thought he knew better and tried to heal Harry's bones himself.

But instead of healing the bones, he removed them, which meant that he had to stay in the Hospital Wing as his bones were painfully healed.

Playing for Gryffindor, Harry wins the Quidditch match against Slytherin. During the game, an enchanted ball hits Harry and causes him to lose the bones in his arm. Dobby, a house-elf, has enchanted the ball in an effort to have Harry injured and sent home. Before Harry could do or say anything towards the damn house-elf, the Headmaster, his Head of Huse and the School Healer brought in a first-year Gryffindor called Colin, brought in as he was petrified, he was the second victim.

Colin was a fanboy, from the moment that they met, he learned Harry's timetable and tried to meet the Boy-Who-Lived whenever he could. The first year wanted a photo of Harry and talked to him about the night he got his scar, something Draco and Lockhart bothered about when they found out, but this wasn't what Harry wanted and tried to keep away from him. So whilst he didn't like the boy, he didn't want something like this to happen to him.

As he listened, he found out that Dumbledore knew something about it, not who it was but he knew something about the attacks. Harry just hoped that the Headmaster would be able to capture whoever was behind these attacks so that no else would get hurt.

Anyway, not long after this Lockhart started up a duelling club. It wasn't something that Harry wanted to go to, seeing who was teaching it, but talking to his friends about it, decided it could be useful. If it wasn't any good, he didn't have to go again.

During the first meeting, Harry and his friends found out that Snape was helping the fool to teach it, something Harry was glad about. Whilst he might dislike the man, it was rumoured that the Potion Master knew more about the Dark Art and how to defend against them than anyone else in the school apart from Dumbledore. In fact, he wanted to teach the job, but for whatever reason Dumbledore wouldn't allow it. So he had hoped that with Snape there, whilst he might be an ass about it, they might learn something from him.

Thankfully, Harry was right, after a rough start, Snape was able to get Lockhart to teach them the Disarming Spell. Near the end of it, they did practice duels. But the thing was that Snape partnered Harry with Draco, in the hope to humiliate him. But that wasn't the case, as Harry was able to disarm Draco, in turn, humiliate him instead. Draco didn't like this and summoned a snake to attack him.

But that led to problems for the next few months. You see, the fool, Lockhart, decided to banish the snake before Snape could, but instead of banishing it, he made the snake fly in the air and landed it next to a Second Year Hufflepuff, Justin Finch-Fletchley. Harry didn't know what got over him, but he sensed he was able to stop the snake by doing anything and so-called out to tell the snake not to attack.

This was a big mistake, seeing how instead of sounding English to everyone else, he was hissing, or as the Wizarding World knows it, Parseltongue. It was said to be a Dark Art ability and two well known Dark Wizards who had it were Slytherin and Voldemort. Because of this and how he had problems with the cat and the first year, people started to think that he was the Heir of Slytherin and the one behind the attacks.

Because of this people were wary of him, not wanting to be near him or do anything with him. In fact, his own friend, Ron was awkward around him, giving him awkward looks and spent less time around him. The only one who didn't have any problems with him having the ability was Hermione, in fact, she wants to know more about it and why he was able to speak it.

Things got worse for him when he stumbled upon the petrified bodies of Justin Finch-Fletchley and Nearly-Headless Nick.

Determined to catch the culprit and clear his name, Harry, Hermione and Ron, who wanted to know the truth about his friend, brewed a potion that Hermione thought to be useful called Polyjuice. The potion would allow them to assume the bodies of Slytherins and question Malfoy on the Chamber of Secrets. To see if he was behind the attacks or not, and if not, if he wasn't the one behind the attacks, he might know who it was. Unfortunately, though, they found out that Malfoy wasn't behind the attacks at all, but they did find out that the last time it happened a Muggleborn was killed.

There was one other problem other than unable to find out who was behind the attacks, that was with Hermione. You see, she wasn't able to go with Harry and Ron as when she got a hair for the potion, it was the wrong sort of hair, it was from a cat. Because of this, instead of becoming the student that she was intending to become, she became a cat girl instead, with fur, tail and cat ears.

Whilst Ron was a bit shocked and horrified by this, Harry thought that she was cute and wished she could stay this way. But knowing how the school would react to this, he helped his friend to the Hospital Wing so that Madam Pomfrey could help to return Hermione back to normal.

What neither Harry nor anyone would realize is that Harry's Blood Protection would once again take part in his life and alter things to make him happy, in this case, making it so that Hermione stayed as a catgirl. But Harry wouldn't learn about this for a while, as thanks to Pomfrey, they were able to cover this up and Hermione didn't say a word about it. But Harry did find that Hermione seemed to enjoy having more milk and cream after this, but he put it down to the side-effect of becoming a catgirl for a short while and so didn't think more about this.

Now for whatever the reason, there were no more attacks occurring for a while. Then just before Valentine's Day, Harry found a diary in the broken toilet, in a girl's bathroom which was haunted by a ghost known as Moaning Myrtle. The diary belonged to someone called Tom Riddle who used to go to Hogwarts fifty years ago. It took a while as they had no reason to write in it, but one day after an incident where ink went on the diary and disappeared, Harry began to wonder if the diary was magical and so began to write in the diary, which responded by writing back. Through this dialogue, Harry meets Tom Riddle, a boy who many years before had accused Hagrid of opening the Chamber of Secrets.

Harry knew Hagrid well enough, that although he loved the dangerous animals, he wouldn't kill a student. So he didn't believe this 'Tom' and put the diary somewhere safe and not think about it again. That was until Harry's next Quidditch Match against Hufflepuff. Halfway through the game, Professor McGonagall ran onto the patch and abruptly cancelled the game, where she pulled Ron and Harry aside and took them to the Hospital Wing where they found that Hermione and Ravenclaw student, Penelope Clearwater, were the latest victims to be petrified.

Because of this, Harry and Ron venture out of the castle to question Hagrid. Before they reach Hagrid, the Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, and Lucius Malfoy remove Dumbledore and Hagrid from Hogwarts. As Hagrid is led away, he instructs the boys that by following the spiders, they can find out about the Chamber monster.

Several nights later, Harry and Ron sneak into the Forbidden Forest to follow the spiders. At the end of the search, they arrived at a colony of giant spiders and discovered that the monster who killed the girl fifty years before wasn't a spider, in fact, because of Hagrid, that spider didn't harm anyone in the castle. They found out that the girl that was killed, her body was found in a bathroom on the second floor of Hogwarts. This alone proved that Hagrid was innocent of the crime, and Tom famed an innocent person. The only thing he was guilty of was believing that all animals were kind and not monsters which some of them were.

The problem came about when leaving the colony, the spiders didn't eat Hagrid because the leader and elder were raised by him. But for them? They were nothing more than strangers who walked into their colony willingly, and without the protection of Hagrid, they were nothing but food to them. So with no other options, they had to run and escape the forest. But once they escaped the forest, Harry realized who the girl was who got killed all those years ago, Moaning Myrtle.

At first, they didn't know what to do, they didn't know what the monster was, they only knew what happened all those years ago and that wasn't much to go on with. They just hoped that Hermione would be cured soon, so they could learn what was behind the attacks and so able to tell the Headmaster what they knew.

Everything changed a few days after escaping the colony spiders when Ron and Harry visited Hermione, where they discovered a piece of paper with a description of a basilisk on it in Hermione's frozen hand. They deduced that the Chamber monster was a basilisk.

Before the boys can act on their knowledge, the teachers announce that Ginny Weasley has been taken into the chamber. Both boys were in shock, they didn't know what to do, but after a few hours, Ron and Harry decided to go to Lockhart with what they knew and where they believed the entrance to the Chamber of Secret was. But they found Lockhart packing up to run away. So Harry was able to knock Lockhart's wand from his hand and force the man to go with them.

They found the entrance in Myrtle's bathroom as suspected, where there was a slide going down the secret passage. So pushing the fake down the slide, the two boys followed where they found themselves in some underground tunnels. During their walk through the underground tunnels, Lockhart played a track on them to get a wand to erase their memories of what they found about him, but it didn't go as planned. As Lockhart picked up Ron's broken wand and so accidentally cursed himself and created a cave that blocked the way for him and Ron.

With no way back, Harry curried on until he entered the Chamber of Secrets where he encountered Ginny's still body and the ghostly figure of Tom Riddle, or as Harry soon found a memory. Harry soon found out that Tom was a younger version of Voldemort, who has been enchanting Ginny through his journal. For a bit, Tom said how much he and Harry were the same, being orphans and powerful, before asking about how Harry survived Voldemort, before telling him who he was. Here Tom called out the basilisk to kill the Boy-Who-Lived.

During the fight, using the little wandless magic he thought would help him, Harry begged for help, anyone or thing, to help him to defeat the basilisk. Instead of Dumbledore or a person which would have been much better, Harry received Dumbledore's phoenix, Fawkes, and the damn Sorting Hat. Harry had no idea what use they could be, but it was all he got to work with. Thankfully, Fawkes punctures the snake's eyes out, so Harry didn't have to worry about being killed by the snake by looking at it.

The only thing left was to kill the damn thing, somehow, the Sorting Hat produces a sword, no normal sword either, the Gryffindor's Sword, which Harry uses to kill the giant snake, but got bitten by the damn thing and a fang was left in his arm. After this, Tom was angry but before he could say or do something, Harry pulled the poisonous fang from his arm and stuck the fang through the diary, destroying Tom.

This was where Ginny woke up and started to cry and explained what happened to her point of view, how Tom slowly used her and such. She was worried that Harry was hurt, but Harry told it was alright and told her to leave and find Ron, he didn't want her to see him die. But before anything could be done or said, Fawkes appeared and cried on the hole that the fang left behind. In doing so, thanks to phoenix's tears, his hole was healed and the poison was gone. Or that was what Harry thought at least.

Once again, Harry's Blood Protection was at work again to use what happened to its host to make things better for the boy. This time, the Blood Protection made it so that the few traces of the fang that reminded in the arm, to be fused with Harry's own bone, so that over the next few months its host's own bones would hollow but at the same time become stronger and lighter, just like basilisk had.

As for the basilisk's venom that was in Harry's blood, the Blood Protection used it to make its host resistant against all venom, so that no poison would ever hurt Harry again, not even the strongest of poisons like the basilisk's venom. Not only that, but the Protection used venom's magic to make its host's skin tougher similar to a basilisk and over the next few years become highly magic resistant and his blood would slowly become venomous, but this would take long to do.

As for the phoenix's tears, this was the most useful, as the Blood Protection used them to make it so that its host would heal much faster and better than before, and it wouldn't have to help its host again as the tears would do all the work Over the year, the Blood Protection would have to use its magic to heal its host and preventing him from dying, but thanks to the tears it would no longer have to worry about this as the tears would do all the work now. Which means that it could save its magic to break the seals around itself and help its host so much better.

And thanks to the blood, fang and tears being so powerful, the Protection used some of the magic from them to grow stronger. It wasn't much from the years of magic it had to use to keep its host safe and sound, but it was a start to rebuild what was used. With luck, as long as nothing big happens towards its host again, it should be able to break the seals within a few years, hopefully by its host's sixteenth birthday.

As for the girl, the Blood Protection let her be, unlike the brown-haired girl, this red-haired girl had no use for its host. She wasn't smart, nor had any skills that would help its host in the future, so it left her be for now. If she ever becomes useful in the future, then it would do something to her, but nothing until then.

With Harry though, as his Blood Protection was doing all this, he and Ginny caught up with Ron and Lockhart, at which point Ron had cleared up the cave in so that they could come and go. Harry learned that the fool, Lockhart, had lost all of his memories. Then Fawkes led them to the Headmaster's Office, where Ginny's and Ron's parents and McGonagall were there with Dumbledore trying to figure out what was going on.

Once Ginny, Harry and Ron explained some of what happened, McGonagall tried to push the group to make sure that they were all okay and see if there was anything to be done about Lockhart's lost memory. But Dumbledore had Harry stay a bit longer to learn more, as he felt it better to know what happened whilst the events were clear in Harry's mind. McGonagall wasn't happy about this, but she understood and so led the Weasleys and Lockhart to the Hospital Wing.

So Harry explained the rest, from what happened on Halloween and all the moments that lead to saving Ginny and coming here. He wanted to ask why the Headmaster hired the fool Lockhart and about the Defence Against the Dark Arts Class, but something in him told him that it didn't matter right now, that it could wait.

During the talks, Lucius Malfoy storms into the office with his house-elf, Dobby, angry that Dumbledore was back in school after being kicked out for not being able to do anything about the attacks. But it would seem that someone had blackmailed/threatened the Board of Governors to kick him out, but when they heard that a Pureblood was taken, they were more than happy to have him back. Lucius was angry at this and left.

But during the talk with Malfoy and Dumbledore, the damn house-elf was in his own way to show that Malfoy was behind all this miss. Harry knew enough to know that a house-elf's word against its master wasn't enough to get jailed, so at least to punish the older Malfoy, Harry tricked Lucius into giving Dobby a sock and in doing so freeing him seeing how house-elf aren't allowed to have any as they would become free.

Now thanks to what happened that year, all apart from the OWLs and NEWTs exams were cancelled, something Hermione didn't like when she was cured and learned about this. But there was nothing she could do about it.

Now before Harry and the rest of the second years ended their year, they had to pick the elective classes for next year. It was mandatory to do at least two of these classes, as they could help you to find a job in the future. These classes were Arithmancy, Care of Magical Creatures, Divination, Muggle Studies and Study of Ancient Runes. Seeing how he wasn't sure what he wanted to do when he finished Hogwarts, Harry decided to do the easiest of the classes: Care of Magical Creatures and Divination.

This was something that the Blood Protection didn't like, it needed for its host to become stronger, so it used the brown-haired girl to change its host's mind. Sure keep Magical Creatures, as it might come in handy to know about the beasts he might face in the future. The Protection would have liked its host to take Arithmancy, but that was a hard class from the little the Protection knew about it, so it had the girl make its host take Study of Ancient Runes instead of Divination. As it made the girl tell its host, Divination was only useful if the person had the gift in the first place. But with Ancient Runes, they could create magic and rituals that could help him against the Dark Lord. It also had the girl tell its host that he should look into Arithmancy in his own time, as it might help him in the future.

Thanks to its host's trust in the young girl, he changed Divination to Runes, whilst his male friend decided to take Magical Creatures and Divination, as he didn't want to do a lot of work. As for the girl, she decided she would try and take all the elective classes. The Protection thought it was foolish, but its job wasn't to help her, no it was to help its host, so the girl could do whatever she wanted as long as it didn't harm its host in any way.

Before long, it was the day that its host and his friends left the school and returned home. The Blood Protection wasn't as worried as it had been before about its host returning to that place he called home, as thanks to the changes that it did to its host, he was more protected than normal. So its host family shouldn't be able to hurt him in any way. The Protection just hoped that next year wasn't as bad as this year so that it wouldn't have to use its power to protect its host and be able to store up magic to break the seals around it.

To be Continued!

Author's Note: Here ends another chapter for Aggressive Love - V1.2, I hope you enjoyed the story and how Harry's second year went. Yes, I used grammar/spell checked, but seeing how I'm dyslexic, knowing if it is right or not isn't easy. So, I just hope for the best.
