Sam stared blankly at the dusty old clock on the wall, as he tried his best to block out the kitchen conversation. "Hunting…chicken ceasar salad….baby names, maybe we can each name one…yikes, Bobby squeezed his butt… the cabin…vegetables…"

Dean on the other hand caught every word an let out an occasional chuckle, finding Sam's discomfort as funny as the conversation. "Ah Sammy all red faced…I've never seen Bobby so handsy…he does have a nice ass though…I wonder if it has freckles…ginger pubes I bet…I have to fart again, thanks for the gas, kids…"

Alfie had on headphones, listening to a Mozart's requiem. The powerful music blocked out all other sound.

Bobby had his eyes glued on the perky ass covered in teal satin as Cayden bent over to checked the biscuits in the oven. After last night, the hunter felt twenty years younger and frisky as a spring lamb.

He patted the omega's firm little butt and rumbled, "Don't know if I can eat breakfast since I'm full up on peaches and cream."

Dean broke out laughing which snapped Bobby out of his post romp stupor. He nudged his brother, "Hey Sam, do you think they washed their hands before making breakfast?"

Sam gagged, "Stop being gross, my stomach feels bad already."

Dean patted his massive baby belly, "Here that, kids? Dads got a bad tummy. Are you gonna be ok today?"

"I'll be fine. I hope the vet can help with the birth but don't worry Dean, I got some tutoring on the whole thing at the compound…I'm pretty sure I could deliver the babies. Alfie is riding shotgun today so everything should go…good?"

The way Sam chewed his bottom lip after he said that made Dean pause but he had faith in his brother despite his young age. That got the omega thinking of how Sam should be getting ready for college in the fall with his big fat scholarship. Dean couldn't afford to give himself another guilt trip though, he had two little people who needed him focused.

….

Alfie sat in the grass petting the dozen or so cats swarming him. He loved cats and how they all had different personalities, the feel of soft fur and the way their purring relaxed him. He had to leave his kitten behind when they left the compound but he knew it was in good hands being loved and cared for by his friends. He wondered if Sheamus liked cats but decided it didn't matter because he loved cats. The omega picked one out, a rare orange female he decided to call Ginger. It was not the most original name but it suited her color and playful personality.

He waved to Sam who was deep in conversation with Dr. Marcy, "Sam, I'm taking this cat." Sam glanced over, gave him a thumbs up and turned back to the vet.

Dr. Marcy, excited to get one of her animals adopted, hustled right over to the baby face omega, "Awesome! I can give you a litterbox, a bag of food and some litter. She is spayed and has all her shots. Could I interest you in another cat or maybe a dog? Since this whole infected people thing has been going on, there are abandoned animals all over the place, I try to find homes for them but…well its not going so well."

"Oh, no thank you." He brightened up, "but I'll ask around." Alfie had exactly zero people to ask but he was an optimist.

…..

They arrived home to find Bobby, Dean and Cayden sitting on the porch with Sheamus who was clutching a bouquet of ditch lilies aka tiger lilies. Alfie launched himself out the truck door with the cat clutched to his chest running full tilt to his boyfriend. He stopped short of clashing into the alpha and held up Ginger, "Bobby, I brought home a cat. She needed a family."

The hunter raised his bushy brows and was about to say something but he couldn't argue with the kid's logic, everyone one needed family. "That's a fine looking cat. She can keep the mice down."

Ginger jumped from his arms and settled on Cayden's lap, he had "cat lover" written all over him. Cayden scratched the kitty under the chin and cooed, "We gingers need to stick together."

Sheamus hugged the slight omega to his broad chest, "I missed you, baby. I brought flowers as often as I could but when you didn't come home, I thought some other guy stole you away." He flashed his big, white teeth, "I guess you still want to give me a chance."

Alfie placed his hands on the man's face and spoke with earnest, "I told all my new friends about my big, handsome soldier principal. I hoped you would wait for me and when I saw all the bouquets, I knew you did."

Dean, on a chaise lounge with a plate of jam covered left over breakfast biscuits balanced on his belly, talked around the food stuffed in his mouth, "It's like a damn romance novel around here today." He waved to Sam as his brother approached. The eighteen-year-old, clad in a t shirt a few sizes too small and the wind blowing his long locks off his handsome face, looked every inch the stud on the cover of a romance novel.

"Here comes my very own cover boy right now."

…..

Their dinner conversations were always interesting and adding Cayden to the mix made it even more so. He told everyone he was very good archery and bow hunting, was an accomplished dancer, had never been married, had no kids and had been on a lot of adventures of his own. Just listening to Cayden, Sam could hear his intelligence and get a sense of his fiery nature with a dash of dark humor thrown in. The young alpha thought he was a good match for Bobby.

Dean wondered how Bobby would do with someone there all the time. Jamie had been very independent and went off hunting for weeks at a time. Not that Cayden wasn't independent but he seemed like more of a homebody.

"Maybe he's just what Bobby needs…someone at his side…a nurturer….a wife…"

Bobby sighed when Rowan fed Ginger from the table but he didn't say anything. He was pussy whipped in a good way and all in on this relationship just as he'd been with Karen and Jamie. The alpha wanted this to work and figured the universe owned him some kind of happiness after all his years of hardship and hunting.

Alfie looked serious and had been quiet up until he blurted out, "I don't think I'm going to have intercourse with Shea right away. My friends told me how nice dating is and that it leads up to intercourse once you know a person well. What do you guys think?"

Cayden nodded approvingly, "I think that is a good idea."

Dean said, "Don't go near that guy when you go into heat. I don't think you could handle an apocalypse baby and good luck waiting because that is one giant mountain of man meat." Sam grunted and rolled his eyes. "Come on Sammy, you know you're the fairest of them all so save the bitch face."

Ginger used the distraction to steal a piece of venison off the table.

Dean let out a fart so loud and so noxious that it could have peeled paint off the walls. "It's the babies. I need to take a dump and all that comes out is gas." Sam got the bag of prunes and plunked it on the table in front of his brother and Dean made a face, "Are they chocolate covered prunes?"

"You know they aren't."

Bobby watched, listened and unfortunately smelled everything but instead of getting up and leaving or chiming in with some hard advice he sat back and just enjoyed the weird chaos going on. This was his family and it was just another normal Sunday supper in the Singer home.

Sam glanced over at his brother who was pouting even after thirty minutes into the drive. "Dean, its not a big deal, it was just a boost, it's a tall truck."

"I'll have to work out like crazy to get my hot body back."

"I'll love you just like I do now, besides, your twenty two and omega, its not going be hard at all. I know you've been weepy and uncomfortable but they're coming. I didn't want to you come anyway because it's so close."

"I've got over a week. I wanna see the cabin. So, we're doing to name thing where we each pick one?"

Sam nodded, "I think that's fair since we can't narrow it down to two, we agree on. Please no stripper names or anything goofy."

"Yeah, well nothing lame and nerdy. It's got to sound good shortened, don't forget that." Dean reached over and took Sam's big hand giving it a squeeze.

It was all surface talk between them since both were silently worried about the babies and how they would turn out with Sam's demon blood mingled with the infection. For Sam it only seemed to make him more intuitive and stronger but with children, it was venturing into the unknown.

…..

The place was overgrown because they'd been away so long. Sam cleared the solar panels and cut back the wild pasture roses and black berry brambles that threatened to swallow the cabin whole. The roses were beautiful in their gentle shades of pink with a butter yellow center. The flowers reminded him of Dean, open, tender, delicate and pretty but still wild with thorns to keep intruders at bay.

Sam glanced up at the porch where Dean had just been sitting but the rocker was empty now. "Dean, where are you?"

"I'm-I'm down here, Sammy. My water broke."
