Don't Boil Your Sweet Potatoes

After successfully navigating the tumultuous aftermath of their encounter with Boscha, Amity and Luz found themselves standing in line, eagerly awaiting their turn for one of the apex traditions of the Scarvest Festival – the Terror Wheel. Despite its somewhat foreboding name, the colossal contraption that towered before them was a testament to the ingenuity of Boiling Isles engineering.

The Terror Wheel stood proudly, dwarfing the surrounding attractions and landmarks. Its towering structure reached an impressive height, nearly double that of the Bonesborough Library where it found its temporary home for the duration of the festival. The skeletal framework of the wheel stood tall and sturdy, an intricate web of metal and enchantments that seemed to defy gravity itself.

As dusk settled over the festival, the Terror Wheel truly came to life, bathed in the warm glow of a thousand lights. The gondolas, each intricately crafted in the shape of menacing skulls, were adorned with a mesmerizing display of vibrant colors and shimmering patterns. Brilliant oranges, deep reds, and bright yellows intermingled with subtle hints of light green, creating a breathtaking visual spectacle against the darkening sky.

The flickering lights cast dancing shadows that played across the faces of those waiting in line, further enhancing the air of anticipation and excitement. The vibrant hues lent an otherworldly charm to the scene, as if the Terror Wheel itself had emerged from the depths of a fantastical dreamscape.

The bustling sounds of laughter, cheerful chatter, and the melodies of street musicians filled the air, creating a vibrant symphony of excitement and joy. Amity and Luz found themselves immersed in the heart of the festival, surrounded by a kaleidoscope of colors that painted the scene in shades of autumn's splendor. The festival grounds were adorned with vibrant banners and decorations in hues of orange, red, yellow, and soft greens, reflecting the season's embrace.

Despite the chaos and energy that enveloped the area, an odd sense of ease and calm pervaded the atmosphere. It was as if the festival itself had come alive, personifying tranquility amidst the frenzy. The gentle whispers of the wind carried the scent of seasonal fruits, further adding to the enchantment of the moment.

Amity and Luz stood in awe, their eyes fixed upon the magnificent structure before them. The soft hum of background music from nearby street bands provided a serene backdrop, complementing the festival's vibrant energy with a calming melody. The combination of lively melodies and the gentle rustling of leaves in the early autumn breeze painted an idyllic atmosphere, creating a serene oasis within the bustling festival grounds.

As they approached the front of the line, Amity couldn't help but marvel at the intricacies of the Terror Wheel. She traced her gaze along the towering framework, from the sturdy base to the dizzying heights where the gondolas hung suspended. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were evident in every curve and joint, a testament to the skill of the Boiling Isles' engineers.

Luz, ever the enthusiast, bounced on her toes with excitement. She admired the skull-shaped gondolas, their ethereal glow reflecting the joy and thrill that awaited those who dared to step aboard. The lights, like miniature stars, twinkled and shimmered, casting a magical aura over the surrounding festival grounds.

As they stood side by side, their hands occasionally brushing against each other, they found solace in the shared moment. Amity's shoulders relaxed, her earlier encounter with Boscha fading into the background as the festival's embrace wrapped around her. The weight of her relief began to lift, replaced by a renewed sense of joy and freedom.

Luz's eyes sparkled with excitement, mirroring the vibrant hues that adorned the festival. She reveled in the vibrant atmosphere, taking in the sights and sounds with an infectious enthusiasm. But even in her exuberance, there was a serene calmness in her presence, an inner peace that radiated from within.

As the line slowly inched forward, Amity's gaze drifted towards the colossal structure of the Terror Wheel. It loomed majestically against the darkening sky, its intricate skeletal frame a stark contrast to the warm glow of the setting sun. The compartments, each like a miniature world of its own, rotated gracefully, their whimsical designs offering glimpses of the exhilarating journey that awaited.

In this moment of respite, Amity felt a quiet introspection settle upon her. The festival's soothing ambiance provided a space for reflection, prompting her to contemplate the profound changes she had undergone in the past months. Since meeting Luz, everything about the Isles had somehow become less bleak, more full of life. One of the things she appreciated the most about the human teen was her uncanny ability to see and bring about the best in everyone around her. Thanks to her crush, she felt all of her constraints and anxieties seamlessly evaporate in her presence and even beyond.

Since Luz came to Bonesborough, Amity was able to overcome the senseless weight of her parents' expectations and the cruelty of her former 'friends'. Moreover, she finally allowed herself to express the kind of person SHE wanted to be. Not the cold, calculating, and admittedly stuck-up teen she used to be. And all of it. Every last infinitesimal part of it…was thanks to the girl she loved. Luz.

With anticipation bubbling within them, the pair made their way towards the ticket booth, their excitement palpable. The long wait in line had come to an end, and the prospect of finally boarding the Terror Wheel filled Amity's heart with exhilaration. A sense of relief washed over her, lifting the weight of her worries, and leaving her mind unburdened.

Much to both girls' amusement, the familiar face of the ticketmaster, Bertram, stood ahead of them. He smiled widely as the two girls approached, slightly bemused. "Ah, you two again! Back for another thrilling ride, I see!" he greeted them, his voice brimming with warmth and familiarity.

Amity couldn't help but cock an eyebrow at Bertram's playful demeanor, slightly confused by his presence. "Uh... yeah. But why are you over here? Aren't you supposed to be manning the Hall of Mirrors?" she asked, trying to make sense of the situation.

Bertram winked mischievously, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Well, my dear, these festivals do get fairly expensive, don't they? Wouldn't make sense to hire more than a few of us now, would it?" he replied, his voice tinged with a hint of mischief.

The girls exchanged a puzzled look, not entirely sure what the pudgy ticketmaster was getting at. Luz decided to inquire further, her curiosity getting the better of her. "Uh... what do you mean exactly? How is one guy supposed to manage all these games and rides?" she asked politely, seeking clarification.

The balding witch let out a boisterous chuckle, thoroughly enjoying their confusion. He casually raised his wiry finger and drew a small azure circle in the air. In a matter of seconds, four more copies of the pudgy ticketmaster emerged from seemingly nowhere, standing beside him.

"Ohhh..." Luz deadpanned, slightly annoyed at having forgotten about illusion magic. The realization dawned on her, and she couldn't help but feel a tad foolish.

The elder ticketmaster chuckled once more, a gleam of pride in his eyes as he politely dispelled the illusory versions of himself. "Just a few of us illusion witches are able to create this many copies and manage multiple tasks. So, when one of us becomes available, the town loves to enlist our services for the markets and festivals. It makes work much easier for them, trust me," he explained, his tone filled with a mixture of amusement and pride.

Amity couldn't contain her laughter, still bewildered by Bertram's antics. "Can we have two tickets, please?" she requested, reaching into her pocket to retrieve the required payment.

The old man beamed happily, his eyes crinkling with warmth. "Of course you can, my dear. That'll be five snails each, please," he said, extending his hand to receive the payment. Amity quickly handed him the requested money, exchanging it for the two tickets.

Bertram gave the girls one last mischievous look, twiddling the ticket punch in his hand. "Now, remember, you two. This ride has specific rules. Break them, and you might find yourselves up there a while longer than you'd like," he warned, his tone shifting slightly.

Luz offered a quizzical glance at the ticketmaster, sensing the change in his demeanor. "What do you mean?" she inquired, her curiosity piqued.

Setting down his ticket punch, Bertram tapped on the sign posted by his side, reading each rule aloud in detail. "First, riders of the Terror Wheel must promise to keep all arms, legs, and other appendages to themselves at all times. Second, the Terror Wheel is powered by the fears of its riders, to leave one must overcome these fears. Lastly, all riders must follow all the rules," he explained, emphasizing each point.

As they collected their tickets from Bertram, a heavy weight settled on Amity's chest, and her heart sank with a mix of anxiety and fear. The tangible sense of anticipation in the air no longer felt exhilarating to her—it felt suffocating. The crackling energy that once excited her now intensified her nerves, amplifying her worries.

With tickets in hand, Amity and Luz stepped away from the booth, their eyes shining with contrasting emotions. Luz's excitement remained unwavering, her spirit undeterred by the challenges that lay ahead. She embraced the thrill of the ride, accepting the challenge valiantly, while Amity's mind was clouded with doubt and apprehension.

The Terror Wheel loomed before them, its towering presence now appearing more menacing than inviting. The young witchling suddenly realized the weight of her situation. Now was her moment. She didn't have a choice. She would need to confront her fears or submit to them once more. Amity couldn't help but question if she was ready to face the challenges that awaited her.

As they made their way towards the entrance of the ride, Amity struggled to contain her rising anxiety. She turned to Luz, her voice trembling with a mix of anticipation and unease. "Can you believe it? We're about to ride the Terror Wheel...just the t-two of us…," she trailed off, her tone lacking the same enthusiasm as before. The weight of her worries lingered in her words.

Luz, oblivious to Amity's inner turmoil, matched her friend's previous excitement. Her eyes sparkled with a mix of excitement and wonder, completely absorbed in the magic of the moment. "Absolutely! This is going to be one of the highlights of the festival, I just know it!" she declared with unwavering confidence, her voice a stark contrast to Amity's wavering tone.

Amity offered a weak smile, trying to muster up the same enthusiasm but finding it difficult under the weight of her anxieties. She knew she had to push through her fear, to face the ride head-on, but her doubts continued to nag at her.

As Luz thanked Bertram for the tickets, Amity's mind was preoccupied with her own fears of rejection and failure. She knew deep down that she had to confront them, but the path ahead seemed daunting. She silently followed Luz, trying to find solace in her friend's enthusiasm, hoping that it would eventually ignite a spark of courage within her own heart.

As Luz's hand reached out and grabbed Amity's, it jolted her out of her anxious stupor. She felt a sudden warmth spread through her, and her face flushed with a deep crimson. Amity's body stiffened at the touch, taken aback by the unexpected gesture.

Luz, ever playful, giggled at Amity's reaction and teased, "Don't go all adorable on me now, Sweet Potato. We'll never make it on the ride if you're frozen in place like that." Her light-hearted joke caused Amity's blush to intensify, her embarrassment now visible to the world.

Unable to resist Luz's infectious laughter, Amity chuckled nervously, her tense demeanor softening slightly. She allowed herself to be half-dragged by Luz toward the gondola, their path guided by one of Bertram's illusionary copies. This particular Bertram seemed more robotic, lacking the warmth and charm of the ticketmaster. He acted as an extension of Bertram, mechanically instructing them to follow the rules and have a fun ride.

Amity's unease persisted, but Luz's joviality provided a small anchor of comfort in the midst of her swirling emotions. She took a deep breath, reminding herself that she was here to challenge her fears and embrace the unknown. With a determined yet trembling smile, she looked at Luz. "Okay, let's do this," she said, her voice laced with a mixture of nervousness and determination.

Luz beamed at Amity's willingness to step out of her comfort zone. She squeezed Amity's hand reassuringly and whispered, "This is gonna be so much fun, Amity." Her words carried a genuine warmth that resonated with Amity, melting away some of her anxiety.

As they approached the gondola, Amity cast a sidelong glance at the faux Bertram. There was something slightly off about his demeanor, as if he was merely an extension of the real ticketmaster. Amity found solace in the thought that even though Bertram's presence seemed more robotic, he was still there to ensure their safety and enjoyment.

Taking their seats in the gondola, Amity's heart raced with a mix of anticipation and trepidation. She held tightly onto Luz's hand, finding comfort in their connection. The gondola slowly ascended, carrying them higher and higher into the evening sky, the sun having long since set.

As the Terror Wheel continued its steady ascent, the night sky transformed into a breathtaking masterpiece, embracing the entire festival landscape in its ethereal embrace. Amity's heart pounded within her chest, each beat a symphony of anticipation coursing through her veins. This was the moment she had been waiting for, the perfect opportunity to unmask her true feelings to Luz. Yet, the weight of anxiety and the haunting fear of rejection cast a shadow over her courage, weaving tendrils of doubt into the depths of her soul.

Unaware of the whirlwind of emotions swirling within Amity, Luz's contagious enthusiasm broke through her contemplation. With an exuberant voice, she eagerly pointed towards the bustling stands and the mesmerizing lights adorning the theater below. "Amity, look! Isn't it beautiful up here?" Her words resonated with genuine awe, momentarily diverting Amity's attention from her inner turmoil.

To Amity's pleasant surprise, a succession of delicate lanterns began their graceful ascent into the night sky, painting the dark canvas with a kaleidoscope of vibrant hues. The illuminated lanterns seemed to dance harmoniously, mirroring the captivating elegance of Luz's own light glyphs. Luz's eyes widened in childlike wonder as she beheld the breathtaking spectacle, her genuine fascination radiating from her every expression.

However, unbeknownst to the awestruck human teen, Amity couldn't remove her gaze from Luz. "Yeah…it is."

Amidst the captivating display that adorned the heavens, Amity found herself unable to divert her gaze from Luz. While the celestial lights adorned the sky around them, it was the radiant presence of Luz that held her captive. The soft moonlight delicately caressed Luz's caramel complexion, casting a mesmerizing glow that highlighted her enchanting features. In that ephemeral moment, the world receded into a blur, and all that remained was the solace and serenity Amity discovered at the sight of her crush, immersed in the spectacle before them.

The nervousness that had once consumed the Blight teen seemed to momentarily dissipate, carried away on the currents of Luz's genuine awe and childlike wonder. The weight of anxiety lifted, replaced by a newfound calmness that washed over her like a soothing tide. Amidst the chaos of her emotions, she realized that there was profound beauty in simply witnessing the person who had effortlessly captured her heart, blissfully captivated by the spectacle of the world around them.

As the floating lanterns continued their celestial waltz, Amity summoned the strength to take a deep breath, allowing her thoughts to coalesce into a resolute clarity. The time had come to conquer her fears and express the depth of her affection to Luz. With her grip on Luz's hand tightening, Amity's gaze locked onto the breathtaking view from atop the gondola. It swayed gently, suspended at the peak, and a hushed silence descended upon them, stealing the breath from Amity's lungs.

The abrupt halt of the festive contraption jolted both girls back to reality, breaking the spell cast by the enchanting view. Sensing the need to redirect her mind from the depths of her swirling thoughts, Amity swiftly recalled the gift she had carefully prepared for her crush. With a determined glimmer in her eyes, she grabbed Luz's attention, eager to finally share her heartfelt offering.

"Hey, Luz," Amity called, her voice slightly shaky as she tried to get her friend's attention. Luz turned towards her, her eyes filled with warmth and a playful smile. "What's up, Amity? Heights aren't getting to you, are they?" she teased, knowing Amity's occasional aversion to tall rides.

Amity chuckled nervously, her anxiety still palpable. "Hehe. No, it's n-not the heights. I-I, uh... I wanted to tell you something."

Seeing her friend's nervousness, Luz immediately shifted to face Amity, her hand gently resting on top of hers. Leaning against the supporting brace of the gondola, she cocked her head and smiled warmly. "Sure. What's on your mind?"

Amity couldn't help but mentally curse Luz for being so cute. The genuine concern in her eyes and that warm smile only made it harder for her to find the right words. Fidgeting with the hem of her shirt, Amity's eyes briefly darted away before gathering the courage to meet Luz's gaze once again. "I just wanted to say uhm...t-thank you."

Luz's expression softened, and her thumb gently rubbed Amity's hand in a comforting gesture. "Thank me? For what?" she asked, her voice filled with genuine curiosity.

Amity took a deep breath, her nerves gradually settling as she spoke. "For everything, Luz."

Luz's brows furrowed in confusion, her expression reflecting her genuine humility. "Uhhh…for what exactly? For hanging out tonight or something?"

Amity shot her crush a half-annoyed look, pursing her lips slightly. "Not for THAT, Luz," she huffed, rolling her eyes at Luz's obliviousness. "I... I meant for everything else."

Clearly not catching the hint, the Luz tried to brush off Amity's gratitude once more. "Amity, I didn't do-"

Amity swiftly cut her off with an elbow nudge to the side, her annoyance at Luz's protests overly apparent. "Oh, stop it, Luz. I'm trying to say I appreciate everything you've done for me. Ever since you came to Bonesborough things have been…different."

Luz gave her a sheepish smile, still rubbing her side from the unexpected impact. "Different?" she asked, curious as to where she was going with this.

Amity turned to face her crush, a warm smile playing at her lips. "Yeah... different. You know? Just... better."

Luz gently eased her hand from her side and started awkwardly rubbing the back of her neck, still unsure about Amity's remarks. "Well... I'm not sure I'd say I've made the best impression, given recent events," she admitted, a tinge of guilt coloring her voice. She recounted the instances where she felt she had let Amity down—the abomination class project, the Coven tryouts, the Grudgby game incident, and even helping Ed and Em steal her diary. The last incident caused her to wince slighty as she recalled the look on her friend's face when she found her holding her half together journal.

Amity waved off Luz's concerns, her eyes filled with a mixture of admiration and affection. "Luz, you don't understand. Each time you uh…caused trouble…you always found a way to make things better. For everyone. Even me."

Luz eyes widened at this, slightly awestruck with her friend's revelation. She sat up from her cozy position on the bar and gave Amity her undivided attention.

"You… always saw the best in people and believed in their ability to change, even when they didn't deserve it," Amity explained, her voice softening with sincerity. "You never gave up on them, even me."

Luz's eyes shimmered with a mixture of surprise and joy. She squeezed Amity's hand gently, her voice filled with sincerity. "A-Amity, you don't have to thank me. Being your friend is a gift in itself. You've helped me more than you could know."

A gentle smile graced Amity's lips as she continued, her words imbued with a heartfelt honesty. "Luz, you've taught me so much about myself and I didn't even realize it." She paused, thinking of the rights words to say. The Blight teen squeeze her friend's hand, returning the gesture. "And I just wanted to say thank you for being there for me, for…supporting me. You've brought so much light into my life and helped me see things in a different way. I can't express how grateful I am to have you as a friend."

Luz's eyes widened with a mix of surprise and warmth, her heart swelling with the weight of Amity's words. "Amity, I... I didn't realize," she murmured, slightly at loss of what to say. "I-… never thought you…cared so much about me."

Amity reached out, gently taking Luz's other hand in her own. Her touch conveyed a reassurance that words alone could not express. "More than you ever know, Luz. You have a tendency to bring out the best in people. Even if its in your own weird way. And I'm…grateful to have you in my life."

Luz's smile grew slightly awkward as she realized they were still holding hands, causing a soft blush to rise to her cheeks. "Oh, uh... I guess it's just what anybody would do," she mumbled, trying to downplay her impact on Amity's life.

Amity, however, shook her head gently, her eyes filled with determination. "No, Luz, it's not just anybody. If it were anyone else, I would still be the same stuck-up girl hanging out with jerks like Boscha. You saw the best in me even when I didn't see it myself."

Luz chuckled, attempting to lighten the mood. "Does that mean I need to fish you out of a barrel of squids from now on?" she joked, referring to their earlier encounter with the mischievous triclops.

Amity joined in the laughter, the tension of the moment dissipating as they shared the lighthearted memory. "Well, I can't promise squids, but I'll definitely keep you on your toes," she replied playfully, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

Amity's heart raced as she reached into her bag, carefully pulling out a beautifully wrapped gift. Her hands trembled with a mix of nervousness and excitement. She took a deep breath, looking into Luz's eyes, and spoke with genuine appreciation, "Luz, I wanted to have this."

Luz's eyes widened with surprise and overwhelming gratitude. "Aww Amity, you didn't have to get me anything," she replied, her voice filled with sincerity. "I feel bad that I didn't get you anything in return."

Amity shook her head, a soft smile gracing her lips. "Luz, I'm more of a 'from the heart' kind of girl. Besides, I am a Blight remember? My family's not exactly strapped for cash."

"Yeah I know..." Luz's smile faltered slightly, her eyes reflecting a hint of unease. "And I... I appreciate that, Amity. It's just... I'm not good at accepting gifts. I don't want you to feel like you have to give me something in return."

Amity's annoyance flickered across her face, her brows furrowing. She thrust the gift toward Luz, a touch of frustration in her voice. "Oh, come on, Luz! Just open it already, doofus."

Caught off guard by Amity's response, Luz's uneasiness melted away, replaced by a bashful smile. She carefully took the gift from Amity's hands and began to unwrap it, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. Whatever doubts she had quickly dissipated as she revealed the heartfelt gesture Amity had prepared for her.

With anticipation and curiosity, Luz carefully unwrapped the gift to reveal a peculiar metallic object, her brows furrowing in confusion as she held it in her hands. It had a mechanical appearance, resembling a complex contraption not entirely unfamiliar to her. She glanced at Amity, gratitude in her eyes, but still unsure of its purpose. "Amity, thank you so much, but... what is it?"

Amity chuckled warmly, finding Luz's puzzled expression endearing. "It's a stamp kit, Luz," she explained with a hint of pride in her voice. "I know you…can't exactly do magic like us. So, I made this for you out of some old parts from my dad's lab. It'll make creating glyphs a thousand times easier."

Luz's eyes widened, a mix of surprise and delight washing over her face. "You made this yourself? That's amazing!" She examined the intricate details of the contraption, appreciating the craftsmanship that went into it. "But uh…how does it work?"

Amity leaned in, excitement twinkling in her eyes. "It uses abomination magic to create ink," she whispered, as if sharing a secret. "With this stamp kit, you can create any shape or glyph you desire. Just say whatever you want it to do, and the mechanism will adjust to form that shape. It's like having a magical stencil at your fingertips."

Luz's joy overflowed as she grasped the full potential of the gift. Without hesitation, she eagerly pressed the stamp onto her hand, the Terror Wheel ticket serving as her canvas. Instantly, a small ball of radiant light materialized, hovering above her palm. Her eyes widened in wonder, a gasp escaping her lips. "Amity, look!"

Amity's own excitement matched Luz's, watching the enchanting light dance before them. "It worked!" she exclaimed, her voice tinged with pride and satisfaction. "Now you don't have to carry around all that paper. Should make life a little easier."

Luz beamed, the possibilities flooding her mind. She began experimenting, stamping her hand repeatedly to create an array of glowing shapes, each one bringing a sense of awe and wonder. The stamp kit transformed her magic into tangible forms, allowing her to express her creativity in new and exciting ways.

As Luz playfully experimented with the stamp kit, creating intricate patterns and whimsical light glyphs, Amity's gaze remained fixated on her, captivated by the magic in her friend's eyes. Thoughts swirled in Amity's mind, the weight of her unspoken emotions growing heavier with each passing moment. The serene atmosphere, the comfortable silence, and the absence of potential distractions fueled her contemplation.

Lost in her own thoughts, Amity didn't notice that Luz had paused her creative endeavors, her attention drawn to Amity's distant expression. Sensing something amiss, Luz's eyes softened with concern. She scooted closer to Amity, closing the distance between them, and enveloped her in a warm and comforting hug.

Amity's body tensed momentarily at the unexpected touch, still unaccustomed to Luz's human gestures of affection. But as she processed the meaning behind the embrace, her heart filled with warmth. Before she could even question whether Luz loved the gift or not, Luz's voice, barely above a whisper, reached her ear.

"I love it," Luz murmured, her words filled with sincerity and tenderness.

A smile blossomed on Amity's face, radiant and genuine, as she reciprocated the hug, her arms wrapping around Luz. The weight of her unspoken feelings began to lift, replaced by a profound sense of joy and relief. In that precious moment, Amity felt a surprising trail of tears dampening the collar of her shirt.

Startled by Luz's sudden outpouring of emotions, Amity's concern deepened, and she gently pulled away to meet Luz's tear-filled eyes. The sight of Luz on the verge of breaking down tugged at Amity's heartstrings, and she instinctively moved closer, yearning to provide comfort. However, Luz raised a trembling hand, silently indicating that she needed a moment.

Amity watched Luz with worry etched across her features, waiting patiently for her friend to gather herself. The room was filled with a heavy silence, broken only by the soft sound of Luz's subdued sobs. Eventually, Luz's voice quivered as she blurted out her apology, struggling to find the right words amidst her tears.

"I'm sorry... for being such a mess. I just…," Luz managed to say, her voice choked with emotion. "I-I couldn't handle the thought of you...leaving."

Amity's heart ached as she listened, wanting nothing more than to alleviate Luz's pain. She moved closer, extending her arm in a gesture of comfort, offering a hand towel from her bag to gently wipe away Luz's tears. Luz gratefully accepted the gesture, her sobs subsiding slightly.

"L-Luz…what are you talking about?" Amity said softly, her voice filled with genuine concern. "I'm not going anywhere."

The weight of Luz's words hung in the air, the gravity of their meaning sinking in for both of them. Luz took a deep breath, her voice quivering as she mustered the courage to continue.

"Amity... you're the best friend I've ever had," Luz confessed, her voice laced with vulnerability. "All my life, I've longed for someone I could trust and lean on when I needed them. I... never had that in Gravesfield."

Amity's eyes widened, a mixture of surprise, understanding, and a surge of affection flooding her heart. The Blight teen understood her friend's reluctant attitude towards her home in the human realm, but she never really figured Luz of all people would struggle to connect with other. She tightened her arm around Luz, drawing her closer in a tender embrace.

"Things back home we're always just…different. Most of the other kids thought I was a weirdo. Everyone," Luz paused, wiping away a fresh trail of tears. "…made fun of me. Pushed me away for being the 'weird kid'. Always calling me Luzer."

Amity felt her blood begin to boil slightly, the thoughts of others picking on her Luz fueling her anger. Although the idea of meticulously thumping each and every one of those idiots for picking on her crush swarmed her mind, she focused on Luz, trying to comfort her. She did, however, silently swearing to the Titan to give them the 'Hooty Treatment' if she ever got the chance.

"I don't want to go back to that, Amity," Luz managed, her eyes slightly swollen from relentless sobs. "I don't want to lose my friend."

Amity could hardly believe the words coming from her crush. "I'm not going anywhere, Luz" Amity said, her voice filled with concern. She instinctively patted her friend's back, offering her a reassuring touch.

"Luz, you are the most incredible person I know," Amity continued, her voice sincere and full of admiration. "You're brave, kind, and you have this incredible way of bringing people together. You've shown me a side of myself I never knew existed, and I'm so grateful for that."

As Luz listened to Amity's words, her eyes glistened with emotion. "Amity..." she began, her voice wavering slightly, "I-...I'm scared. Scared that if I leave the Isles, I won't be able to come back. And I don't want to lose my friends, especially you."

Amity tightened her grip on Luz's hand, offering her comfort. "I know things aren't exactly…ideal right now. But…you have us. Me, Gus, Willow, and Eda. We're all here for you. No matter what happens. We'll figure out a way to get you home. And I promise you'll…always be able to come back." Amity finished, her last words sending sharp pangs in her heart, cutting through her desire to be closer to Luz.

Removing herself from Amity's now tear-soaked shoulder, Luz lifted her gaze to meet Amity's eyes, her expression filled with vulnerability. She needed to hear the sincerity in Amity's words. "You mean that?" she asked, her voice trembling with a mix of hope and uncertainty.

"Absolutely," Amity replied, her voice unwavering. "You've become such an important part of my life, Luz. I don't want to lose you either. And besides, the Isles will always be here. You can come back to visit whenever you want."

As Amity and Luz navigated their feelings, a shift in the atmosphere caught their attention. The momentarily dormant Terror Wheel creaked to life, casting long shadows on the bustling carnival grounds. Lights twinkled, stands brimmed with treats and trinkets, and a lively crowd reveled in the festive spirit. Laughter and music filled the air, creating an electric energy. Amidst it all, the eerie motion of the wheel symbolized a shift from angst to relief, offering a glimmer of hope in the enchanting world of the carnival.

Amity's words pierced Luz's heart, stirring up a mixture of emotions within her. She couldn't bear the thought of Amity doubting their bond or feeling guilty for potentially holding her back. Amity's eyes widened as she silently questioned what Luz was talking about, her mind racing to comprehend the weight of her friend's words.

Tears welled up in Luz's eyes once again as she continued, her voice trembling with a hint of sadness. "But…aren't we going to grow up someday, Amity? What then? You'll make new friends and even…fall in love. Start a family of my own." She hesitated before adding, "I mean, I-I-I know you already have someone else you care about...your Grom crush."

Amity's heart skipped a beat, the weight of Luz's revelation causing shockwaves to surge through her. Words eluded her, and her mind spun in a whirlwind of thoughts, grappling with the profound significance of Luz's words. Yet, insecurities started to creep into her consciousness, threatening to overshadow the moment of vulnerability. Fear gripped Amity's heart, worrying that Luz might reject her, find her feelings repulsive, or worse, distance herself from their friendship entirely. The weight of these anxieties bore heavily on her, causing her cheeks to flush with a telltale warmth. Her mind became wracked with the prospects of comforting the person she cared about the summation of her fears. In a moment where only, impossible choices could be made, Amity instinctively turned away, hoping to conceal her flushed face from Luz's gaze.

Gathering her courage, Amity stammered, her voice trembling with nervousness, "W-w-well, now I wouldn't exactly say that... I mean... uh, it's someone you know a-and I doubt they'd uhh…get in the way of us being friends..." Her attempt to conceal her emotions faltered, as her voice carried a mix of hope and anxiety. Realizing she had revealed more than intended, Amity abruptly clamped her mouth shut, her cheeks deepening to a few shades of crimson, betraying her embarrassment.

The sudden shift in their conversation broke Luz from her stupor, her curiosity piqued. Her eyes widened with excitement, and she couldn't help but let out an exclamation, "Really?! Umm… I mean really."

Amity, feeling trapped and cornered, desperately searched for an escape route, her mind racing to find an excuse to drop the subject. Her eyes darted wildly, seeking a way to evade Luz's prying gaze. However, her efforts proved fruitless as her body froze with fear, her composure barely hanging by a thread. The weight of the moment bore down on her, making it increasingly difficult to maintain her usual calm demeanor.

After watching her friend seize with embarrassment, Luz immediately realized she might have been prying too much, regretting her curiosity. "So uhh... who is it? Uh, I mean, sorry. I shouldn't have said that." Luz mentally scolded herself for overstepping, knowing that her friend might not be ready to share such personal feelings.

Amity felt a surge of panic as Luz pressed for more information. Her anxiety intensified, making it even harder for her to find the right words. She desperately wanted to protect their friendship and keep her own emotions hidden, but the fear of rejection held her back.

Attempting to deflect once more, she hesitated before responding, "Oh, it's not really important. L-Let's not dwell on it." She hoped her vague response would be enough to steer the conversation away from her own feelings.

However, as Amity saw the disappointment flicker across Luz's face, she realized she couldn't hide anymore. She knew she had to be honest, to open up and take the risk.

Summoning all her courage, Amity took a deep breath and admitted, her voice filled with vulnerability, "That's okay... they're... really special to me." She let the words hang in the air, her heart pounding in her chest, unsure of how Luz would react.

Caught up in her own thoughts, Luz's previous curiosity momentarily faded as a suggestion slipped out.

"Is it Gus?"

Her words were innocent, yet they caught Amity off guard. The unexpected suggestion left her momentarily stunned, her mind racing to process the implications. Was she really that oblivious to her true feelings? Amity's thoughts raced, unsure of how to respond, caught between the fear of rejection and the desire to be honest with her best friend.

"Uh... no. He's not really my type. The p-person I like is... special. Sh-she's uhh... We're really close," Amity stammered, her voice wavering as she struggled to reveal her true feelings.

Luz, completely missing Amity's last comment, beamed with happiness as she realized Amity liked girls. It gave her a sudden surge of confidence. "Aww, Amity. I didn't know you felt that way!"

"Uh... yeah. I h-have for a while, I guess," Amity responded, her voice filled with a mixture of nervousness and relief. Luz's acceptance of her feelings brought her some comfort, knowing that her friend didn't reject the idea of her liking girls.

Luz gently rested her hand on Amity's, her eyes filled with empathy. She asked, "That's gotta be hard. I... I'm guessing your parents aren't exactly thrilled about it? I mean, uh... I'm-"

Amity cut her off, understanding the unspoken words. "It's okay. I... know what you mean. And trust me, they wouldn't be."

Surprise flickered across Luz's face. Had Amity really not even told her parents yet? The weight of the situation settled in as she realized the depth of Amity's struggles. "Oh... I'm sorry. I'm..." A long, awkward pause ensued. "That must be hard."

Amity let out a sigh, releasing the pent-up emotions she had forced herself to conceal for so many months. "It's... not easy sometimes. But... Em's been really great about it lately. Surprisingly."

Luz offered a warm smile, her eyes filled with empathy. "Well... that is a miracle. It must be nice having someone to confide in about this stuff. Heavens know I didn't have that luxury." Her gaze shifted upwards, her eyes fixed on the twinkling stars as if searching for answers in the vast expanse.

Amity's heart raced at Luz's comment, a surge of hope rushing through her. Did... Luz just imply that she…? Her mind swirled with confusion, trying to make sense of the situation.

Gathering her thoughts, she mustered up the courage to ask, her voice tinged with shyness, "Uhm... really? I, uhh... didn't know you, uh..." Frustration began to build within her, and she finally blurted out, "What do you mean by... uhh... that?"

Luz, always the savant, playfully waved her hand in the air while continuing to gaze at the stars, tracing the constellations of glyphs. She couldn't help but tease, "Oh, how do I put this politely? I guess you could say I swing the ax both ways?"

Amity's eyes widened in surprise, her mind struggling to process Luz's revelation. The comment nearly caused her mind to short-circuit. If it was anyone else she would've socked them for being so…blunt. But among the many things she loved about the human, her directness was high on the list. There was a certain charm in Luz's ability to cut through the noise and get straight to the point.

"Ohh... r-really?" Amity stammered, still taken aback by her friend's nonchalant demeanor.

Luz shifted her attention from the stars and settled back, resting against the railing of the gondola. A mischievous smirk danced across her features as she playfully gestured towards herself with a thumb. "Guilty as charged," she confessed, embracing her own unique identity without hesitation.

Despite her annoyance with Luz's nonchalant attitude towards such a serious subject, Amity understood that her friend was trying to alleviate the anxiety she was currently experiencing. It was precisely this consideration that made Luz all the more endearing in Amity's eyes, almost to the point of melting into a puddle of adorableness. However, what truly consumed her thoughts was the revelation that her crush had just admitted to…being on the same wavelength, so to speak. This realization sent a thrilling surge of emotions through Amity, igniting a newfound determination to conquer her fears.

"Uhm... wow, Luz. You're so... confident," Amity finally found the words, albeit with a touch of awkwardness. As she pondered her response, she nervously rubbed the back of her neck, trying to gather her thoughts. "So sure of yourself."

Luz's smile widened, a cocky expression taking over her face. She playfully teased, "What's that supposed to mean, Sweet Potato? Am I that much of an open book?"

Amity felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment, desperately fidgeting with the railing, avoiding direct eye contact. "No, uhm... that's not what I meant," she managed to say before being interrupted by Luz's laughter. Luz patted her back, attempting to calm her flustered friend. "I was just joking, Amity." Amity responded with a shy laugh, still feeling uncertain about herself.

Luz took a moment to observe the unique structure of the gondola, appreciating its distinctiveness. She then turned to Amity, her voice carrying a sense of conviction as she explained, "I've... come to terms with this a long time ago. And I just... knew it was a part of me. It's who I am."

Amity's thoughts drifted to her own struggles with identity, considering how difficult it had been to hide her feelings from her family over the past few months. She couldn't help but empathize with Luz, imagining the challenges she must have faced in the human realm, based on the stories she had shared. Yet there Luz sat, proud and unapologetic about her true self.

"That's... incredible, Luz," Amity confessed, her voice tinged with a mix of admiration and longing. "I... I wish I could understand it."

Luz offered Amity a reassuring look, her warm smile radiating comfort. "I know it's confusing at first, Amity," she said, her voice filled with empathy. "But trust me, after a while, it... gets better. It doesn't seem so...hard. And eventually, you accept it as part of yourself."

Luz's words resonated deeply with Amity, causing a profound shift within her. The weight that had burdened her for so long seemed to lift from her shoulders. The realization that Luz was her crush only intensified her blushing, but it was the sheer presence of her friend, her efforts to comfort and support Amity in understanding this new aspect of herself, that made her feel whole. It brought a renewed sense of self-assurance that she hadn't experienced in a long time, and she couldn't help but feel an overwhelming happiness wash over her.

Luz, ever the curious one, couldn't resist her inquisitive nature. With a playful smile, she asked, "So, hermosa, when exactly did you start... you know... feeling this way?"

Amity looked into Luz's eyes and felt a surprising sense of relaxation, as if a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. It was an unknown yet welcomed feeling that made her instinctively trust Luz. The relief she experienced was almost exhilarating, and she couldn't help but be drawn to confide in her.

Taking a deep breath, Amity began to explain, her voice tinged with a mix of vulnerability and determination. "It started at the beginning of the summer, Luz. I... I found someone who I initially thought was just stupid, a complete buffoon. But something about her was different, and I…couldn't ignore it. As time went on, I found myself noticing her more and more, realizing just how much she meant to me."

Amity's voice wavered slightly as she continued, her gaze fixed on Luz. "I tried to deny it, to push those feelings away, because everything in my heart told me it was wrong. But no matter what I did, I couldn't shake the intensity of what I was feeling. It was like an intoxicating force, so real and so... right. And then, after Grom, I realized just how deeply I cared for this person, and it just took off from there. I…haven't really felt myself since."

Amity paused, her eyes searching Luz's face for any sign of understanding or judgment. She had bared her soul, sharing a piece of herself she had kept hidden for so long. The vulnerability of the moment hung in the air, and Amity could only hope that Luz would respond with the same compassion she had shown her.

Much to her surprise, Luz offered a reassuring smile in response. Her words were filled with a playful teasing tone that instantly eased Amity's worries. "Sounds about right," Luz said, a glimmer of mischief dancing in her eyes. "It must be some girl if she's got the great Amity Blight all tangled up. Tell me about her. Was it love at first sight?"

Amity couldn't help but let out a nervous chuckle, a mix of embarrassment and relief washing over her. Luz's light-hearted comment helped to dissolve the tension that had been building within her. It was a reminder that, despite the vulnerability she had just revealed, Luz was still the same supportive and understanding friend she had always been.

Amity's cheeks flushed with a soft hue as she mustered the courage to speak, her gaze shifting nervously. With each word, she carefully chose her phrasing, wanting to express her feelings without fully revealing the depth of her affection. "You know, this person in my life... someone who's just... different, in a really good way," she began, her voice filled with a mix of admiration and tenderness.

Luz leaned in, captivated by Amity's words, her eyes fixed on the mint-haired girl. She could sense the weight of Amity's emotions in the air, and her heart skipped a beat in anticipation. "Tell me more," Luz encouraged, her voice barely above a whisper.

Amity's voice grew soft, her tone filled with warmth as she painted a picture of the person who had stolen her heart. "She's kind, funny, and always has this way of standing up for her friends. No matter how many times things would go wrong or how messy it would get, she always found a way to make it right," Amity revealed, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

Luz couldn't help but feel a surge of pride at Amity's words, a sense of joy spreading within her. She had always strived to be there for her friends, to make them laugh and bring light into their lives. Hearing Amity's appreciation for this 'mystery girl' touched her deeply.

"But you know what I love the most about her?" Amity continued, her voice filled with genuine admiration. "She's just so... true to herself. The most authentic person I've ever met. Never afraid to be exactly who she is." Amity glanced up, meeting Luz's eyes for a brief moment before looking away, her cheeks growing warmer.

Luz's voice carried a mix of curiosity and affection as she responded, her eyes sparkling with intrigue. "Wow, Amity. It sounds like this girl really holds a special place in your heart."

Amity's eyes locked with Luz's, and in that moment, the world seemed to fade away around them. Lost in the intensity of the connection, Amity couldn't hold back her confession any longer. Her voice trembled as she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper, "Yeah... she does."

Luz's breath caught in her throat as she overheard her friend's words, her heart racing with a mix of elation and disbelief. Instantly realizing what Amity had just said nearly sent her into a blind panic. A rosy blush spread across her cheeks, mirroring Amity's own flushed expression. This unexpected revelation lifted a weight off Luz's chest, filling her with a sense of…joy and relief.

The air between them suddenly went rigid, the once calm, peaceful aura around them eviscerated by Amity's revelation. The Blight immediately looked away after realizing what she had said, trying to deflect the encroaching fears of rejection playing her heartstrings.

Summoning her composure, Luz took a deep breath and tried to play it cool. She could see the panic flickering in Amity's eyes, and a part of her found it endearing. Trying to ease the tension, Luz asked with a playful smile, "So, uh... does this crush of yours have a name?"

Amity's mind went into overdrive, her thoughts racing as she tried to gather her thoughts and find the right words. Her stammering intensified as she struggled to form a coherent sentence. "Uhhh... y-yeah, she has a n-name. I-it's, ummm... the girl I like, she's uhh..." Despite the embarrassment evident on her face, Luz couldn't help but find Amity's flustered state absolutely adorable. The way she fumbled over every other syllable and the coat of crimson plastered across her face was almost too much to handle.

Luz's eyes lit up with a sudden realization, drawing inspiration from her beloved Azura books. She gently interrupted Amity, placing a hand on her arm to stop her. Despite the deep blush coloring her cheeks, Luz mustered the courage to speak her heart. "Amity, I've told you before, I'm not a materialistic kinda girl..."

Confusion washed over Amity's face, her expression innocent and dumbfounded as she tried to comprehend Luz's words. "Huh...?" she mumbled, unable to fully grasp the meaning behind Luz's statement.

Luz smiled warmly, her voice soft and filled with affection. "You asked for my heart, but... sadly, I can't give you what you already own." Her shy smile was accompanied by a radiant blush, matching the flush on Amity's own face.

Amity stood there, completely dumbfounded, her mind reeling with the possibility of what Luz had just said. "I-I-I ummm... you uhh... what are you... I..." Her words stumbled out incoherently as she struggled to form a coherent sentence.

Luz, always the knight in shining armor, silenced the stammering witchling by enveloping her in a big, comforting hug. As she held Amity tightly, she finished the sentence for her, her voice filled with warmth and certainty. "Yeah. I know..." Amity's breath caught in her throat as her crush spoke her next words.

"I like you too, Sweet Potato."

Amity felt the weight of her confession being released, her secret finally laid bare before Luz. Overwhelmed with emotions, she couldn't hold back the tears that welled up in her eyes. Unexpected sobs escaped her, tears streaming down her face.

Luz, concerned by Amity's sudden outburst of emotions, gently pulled away from the hug to look at her best friend's face, slightly worried she might have completely misread the situation. However, much to the human girl's surprise, she was met with a radiant, beaming smile as Amity tried to wipe away her tears. The sight filled Luz's heart with an indescribable happiness.

Amity managed to compose herself enough to speak, her voice filled with overwhelming joy. "Luz... you make me so happy. It's amazing to hear those words...never in a thousand years did I think you'd…feel the same way." Her words tumbled out, a rush of emotion flowing through her.

Luz returned the smile, her eyes sparkling with affection as she held Amity's gaze. With a soft voice, she reassured her, "Amity, nothing will ever make me stop liking you. You mean the world to me." And with that, she pulled Amity back into a tight embrace, their hearts beating as one.

Overwhelmed by her emotions, Amity buried her head in Luz's shoulder, her voice barely audible as she whispered, "I like you too, Luz Noceda." Luz tightened the hug, their bodies pressed close together, almost squeezing the breath out of them both. She responded in a soft, tender voice, "Te amo, hermosa. Te amo."

As they slowly pulled apart, tears continued to trickle down Amity's face, and even a small amount escaped from Luz's eyes as well. They gazed at each other, their foreheads gently touching, their breaths mingling in the space between them.

With a playful glimmer in her eyes, Luz nuzzled her nose against Amity's, eliciting a giggle from the minty-haired girl. In that moment, all the worries and uncertainties melted away, replaced by a deep sense of connection and joy.

They stayed like that for a while, savoring the sweetness of the moment, the unspoken words hanging in the air. Finally, Amity broke the silence, her voice filled with sincerity, "I'm so glad I have you, Luz. You make everything brighter."

Luz smiled, her heart filled with warmth. "And I'm glad I have you, Amity. You've changed my life in so many ways." They shared another tender embrace, their souls intertwining as they reveled in the newfound certainty of their feelings.

As the gondola glided through the night sky, Amity and Luz settled into their seats, finding comfort in each other's presence. Luz's arm instinctively wrapped around Amity, creating a sense of warmth and security.

Amity, basking in the comfort of their newfound connection, turned her gaze towards Luz with a mischievous smirk playing on her lips. "Azura, huh?" she teased, her voice laced with playful curiosity.

Luz couldn't help but blush, her eyes darting away for a moment as she sheepishly rubbed the back of her neck. "Uh yeah," she responded, a bashful smile gracing her lips. "I thought it would be cute."

Feeling her confidence surge, Amity playfully extended her index finger and gently booped Luz's nose, a gleam of mischief in her eyes. "Yeah...it was, Luz," she teased, her voice filled with affectionate playfulness. "And so are you."

Luz's embarrassment intensified, her cheeks turning a deeper shade of red. "W-What?" she stammered, momentarily caught off guard by Amity's bold statement.

Amity's smirk widened, her own face tinted with a blush as she unabashedly admitted, "You, Luz. You're cute." The words spilled out, a genuine and heartfelt confession wrapped in playful banter.

A mixture of surprise and delight danced in Luz's eyes as she absorbed Amity's words. She felt a rush of warmth enveloping her, a sense of being seen and appreciated for who she truly was. With a shy smile tugging at her lips, she mustered a response, "You going soft on me, Blight?"

Amity's voice dripped with playful defiance as she retorted, "In your dreams, Noceda." She nestled back into the warm embrace of her crush, finding solace in the gentle caress of Luz's arms.

Luz chuckled, her voice filled with affectionate amusement. "Oh, trust me, hermosa," she teased, her words laced with a hint of mischief. "You're already starring in all my dreams."

A shiver of delight ran down Amity's spine, a mixture of surprise and joy coursing through her veins. She couldn't help but snuggle even closer to Luz, her heart fluttering with anticipation.

In that moment, their playful exchange transcended words. Their shared affection and attraction spoke volumes, a silent agreement that their connection went beyond mere friendship. They shared a tender gaze, their eyes locked in an unspoken understanding.

As the gondola continued its gentle ascent, Amity and Luz reveled in the lightheartedness and sweetness of their banter. The weight of their confessions lifted, replaced by a newfound sense of joy and excitement for the journey ahead.

The stars twinkled above, casting a gentle glow on the two girls. A playful smirk appeared on Luz's face as she dared to break the silence, her words carrying a hint of seriousness, "Soo...are we like...girlfriends now?"

Amity's heart skipped a beat, her mind racing with a mix of excitement and uncertainty. She had dreamt of this moment, but now that it was happening, the reality of it all felt overwhelming. With a slight hesitation, she managed to muster a shy smile and whispered, "Yeah...I guess we are."

A surge of joy washed over Luz as she heard Amity's affirmation. It was a confirmation of the deep connection they had formed, a confirmation that their friendship had blossomed into something more. They leaned into each other, their bodies finding a comfortable fit, as they continued to gaze at the starry sky.

In that peaceful moment, the world faded away, leaving only the soft rustle of the wind and the gentle lull of the gondola. Amity and Luz basked in the tranquility of their newfound bond, feeling a sense of contentment and freedom.

With their fingers intertwined and their hearts intertwined, they let go of any worries or doubts, fully embracing the present. The ride continued, carrying them through the evening sky, as they watched the stars twinkle above, their dreams and aspirations reflected in those celestial lights.

In that moment, surrounded by the vastness of the universe, Amity and Luz found solace and happiness in each other's arms. They had discovered a love that was beautiful, genuine, and boundless. And as the stars continued to shine above, they knew that their love would illuminate their path, guiding them through the wonders and challenges that awaited them.

Hand in hand, they embraced the remainder of the ride, their hearts filled with love and their souls entwined. With the stars as witnesses to their journey, they knew that, in each other's company, there was nothing they couldn't overcome.

A/N: Wanted to write this ahead of finishing this story, but midway through compiling this dialogue I realized that I might have diverged from the true tendencies of these characters. However, I felt compelled to explore this and I felt like it fit. To speak plainly, the part in writing Luz as being comfortable and open about her bisexuality with Amity felt necessary in this storyline. I felt this was the most compatible approach with Luz as she is honestly the most genuine character in TOH and I felt it wouldn't be too out of character for her to act this way. Plus I feel like this dialogue about Amity struggling to be open about her feelings for girls is something that would be neat to explore. Far too often I see this in writing (especially in LGTBQ+ relationships) do characters automatically assume attraction. These characters are teenagers and the whole idea of TOH is self-discovery and the fact young love is awkward. The canon story does this justice and I love it. But in my vein attempt to give Dana Terrance her dues, I still want to expand on the emotional turmoil of people in this situation. Love is complicated and far to often do writers simplify the problem to 1+1=juicy romance plot. Characters, much like people, are three dimensional and should be treated as such, especially their relationships with others. And for that you readers should have the obligation to expect as much from relationships involving LGTBQ+ people as you would heterosexual relationships since all modern media thinks is Ok is publicizing the "Hey we have gay characters" sales pitch. Looking at you Rebecca Sugar. On that note, I'll end it with this. Amity and Luz is a good example of a positive gay relationship in modern media and if that scares you then you should take you wrinkly butt out the party and don't let the door hit you on the way out. Apologies for the rant, but I hope y'all enjoyed this fluff. Hope it wasn't too bad. See y'all soon and stay safe out there. Enjoy!
