Luz, Hooty and Eda couldn't believe it, the forests were overrun by so many Amity Blight Clones, all arguing who's real and who's fake.
"I'm not sure if we could fit this many Amitys in this house." Hooty said.
"Shut up, Hooty." Eda said, sternly. "Even one is too much for me!"
"What the heck's goin' on out there?" King was heard, with a towel draped over his lower section, indicating that he just got out of the shower. Once he saw the Amity clones, he screamed in shock. "Oh, that's what's going on."
"Luz, don't listen to me, I'm the real Amity!" One of the Amitys said.
"You're a fake, I'm the real Amity!" Another Amity said.
"No, I'm Amity!" All the Amitys said, angrily incoherently chanting.
"Alright, that's enough!" Eda said. "Hooty?"
Louder than Ever, Hooty shouted his trademark phrase, "HOOOT!"
This gained all of the Amity clones' attention, looking at the Demon house with an annoyed expression, prompting Hooty to uneasily slink back into the door, remembering Grom week when he annoyed her.
"Alright, what happened?" Luz sighed.
"How should I know?" An Amity said. "All I know is that I'm the real Amity Blight."
"Oh, zip it, will you!" Another Amity said, shoving her. "I'm the Real Amity, obviously."
"Don't start, girls." An Amity said, getting between the two clones. "Maybe we should calm down. We don't know how long we'll be like this."
"Who said you could boss us around?" 7 Amitys said, angrily.
"Guys, stop," A familiar voice said, it came from Willow and Gus as they try to get past the crowd of Amity Blight clones, trying to reach to Luz.
"What happened, Luz?" Willow asks.
"And why is there so many of Amity?" Gus said.
"I was out for a walk," An Amity spoke, stepping up.
"And last thing I remember is looking at some weird smelly goo in the woods." Another Amity said, shrugging, with two other Amities nodding in agreement.
"Oh, crud..." Eda said.
"What?" Two Amity clones asks.
"You fell into a Copying Puddle!" Eda said, horrified. "It magically generates clones from a puddle of weird goo, connecting to a lake, where..."
"Where it makes more clones!" King said, worried. "We can only handle one Amity!"
"Oh, my gosh! The town!" Luz said. "We better gather all the other Amity clones before they get Amity in Trouble."
"You guys go ahead, I'm gonna go grab something from an ex-husband..." Eda shrugged.
"Wait, you're married?" Luz said, shocked.
"I was married in Vegas back in 1998." Eda shrugs as she gets her staff and begins to fly out of the house. "It's a long story how I stole this guy's car and junk. Now come on. Hooty, King, make sure these spoiled little Daddy's girls stay out of trouble."
"Hey!" The Amitys shouted, angrily.
"Sure, I'm a king, they'll have to do whatever I say!" King smiled. "You can count on us, Eda. Just as long as Hooty doesn't get into a situation where Amity hits him around like a dummy."
"Hey!" Hooty said, coughing out another sparrow bird.
In the forests, after Amity used a cleaning spell, she was finally able to focus on going back home, it's probably time for Dinner, or getting close to that time. She doesn't have to explain to her mother or father why she was so filthy. But she was about to explain something even worse.
She ended up crossing paths between two girls that looked exactly like Amity, she stops in her tracks, confused. She then glances at the two lookalikes, starting to get worried.
"Who are you?" Amity said.
"We're Amity." Both Amitys said. "We're you."
"But I'm me!" Amity said, creeped out. "Why is there 2 more of... me?"
"Remember that goo that you fell into?" The Amity on the right said as more Amity clones started to surround her much to her dismay.
"W...why do you know that?" Amity said.
"Follow us." The Amitys said, motioning her through the forests.
They all walked through the forests, taking her to this batch of clones' new home, where Amity and the others found a lake full of the same green goo from earlier. The goo was bubbling and fizzing, and soon, countless clones of Amity Blight continued to form from the goo, walking towards the other countless clones of Amity Blight, all were either minding their own business or talking amongst themselves once they finished forming. Amity couldn't believe it, there were enough Amity clones to fill a whole Witch Duel Stadium from the bleachers to the arena itself.
"Who...who are these people?" Amity said, unnerved.
"We're all you. We're your clones." An Amity said.
"Clones?!" Amity said.
"It's alright." An Amity spoke. "We're not like the other Amitys created in Puddles, they think they're the real you. The ones in Cloning oceans & lakes don't. Right now, we need to get you to Luz, Hooty and Eda. Maybe they can help us with this situation."
"Are you sure?" Amity said, sternly, eerily.
"Yes. We can find a way to put a stop to this situation before it gets way out of hand. and the entire Demon Realm is full of clones." An Amity smirked.
"The entire Demon Realm?!" Amity said, shocked. "I don't think even Daddy or Mom can handle that many of me..."
"Then you better work fast to get the spell to stop."
"Wait, this is irreversible?!"
"Unfortunately, hopefully, we'll find somewhere else to go."
"Well, maybe I can take you to the Owl House, but if there's more of me out there, then we should wrangle them all up too." Amity shrugged.
"The ones from Puddles aren't gonna be easy to gather, they'll think just like you, thinking they're not clones and are genuinely real." A Amity said. "We must hurry now. But we need to notify the leading Amity Clone."
"Where is she?" Amity said. "I mean, which Amity is she? You all look like me, so, I doubt that your leading Amity will be easy to look for."
"I'm right here." The Leading Amity clone said, right behind the original. Amity turned around and saw that, but she wasn't convinced.
"How do I know you're the leader of this group?" Amity said. "Is there any way to tell you apart from each other?"
"No. We're all perfectly identical." The Leading Amity clone said. "From body to mind. I was just appointed leading clone since I was one of the first clones created in this goo."
"So the first clones are the leaders of their separate clone groups?" Amity said, shocked.
"Yes."
"So where are they? As in, where are the puddles?"
"Across the Boiling Isles. We can help you look for them."
"Well, we should probably get going."
"Amity!" A familiar voice said, it was from Luz as Eda landed on the ground. As Luz walked up to who she hoped was the real Amity, she noticed that there were at least thousands of Amity Blights surrounding her. If it weren't for the situation she were in, this would have been a pleasant surprise to see this, but she put that aside as she spoke to her. "There's at least hundreds of you at the Owl House, we need to get over there, NOW."
"What about the Amity clones growing in other puddles?" Amity said, worried.
"We'll work on that." Eda said. "Just need to get Port-a-Hooty ready for getting everyone close enough to all of us."
"What is port-a-Hooty?" Amity asks.
"You don't wanna know," Luz said, gagging. "Let's just go to the Owl House."
Everyone decided to leave, prompting her clones to follow them.
The Leading Amity smirked deviously for some reason as an Amity next to her as she spoke, "You know, your highness, if you are getting her to take us to Luz and Eda the Owl Lady, you know what must need when we reach the owl house,"
"Indeed I do. But we must earn their trust first, blend in with the others..." The Leading Amity said, satisfied.
